Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Um.

Isn't the RP full?

And who approved your CS? Or did @Liferusher approve you via PM?

~Charlotte LaChance~

Charlotte's face was one of sheer terror as she immediately regretted everything about this entire plan to get out of Astril and find long-lost alchemical secrets. She swore, her heart skipped ten beats, but that was an impossibility. She'd be dead then, but dying of fright was a very real, if rare thing. As the giant bird left with its prey, Charlotte slumped against the tree, completely exhausted. No more work for her today, nope. After that her entire body felt like jelly and she didn't want to risk working with that giant thing flying about.

With a somewhat annoyed huff, she managed to push herself to her feet. Well, this had suddenly got worse. Had the native known about the bird and hadn't warned her? Of course, she could assume the native simply assumed she knew, but that was still stupid when it was concerning something that was life and death.

Bah, whatever. It didn't matter.

She dusted off her clothes, noticing the feather high above the trees...scientific curiosity be damned, she was in no shape to try and get that even as much as she wanted it. She couldn't run any proper tests with it now anyways, though if she could see it she'd be able to at least maybe learn something about the bird from close study of its feather...but then, she also had no really good way of getting up there easily, and if the bird came back then she'd be a dead little Charlotte, and she was not one to live dangerously for something so small.

Regrettably, she'd leave it alone.

She walked back to the cave, hefting the Axe over her shoulder. With that bird flying about and no way to defend herself, making any sort of large shelter would be pure folly. A man made underground one though...hmm...she could use the logs for support, rather than actual walls and such, and with some proper alchemy things it would be easy enough...

She'd just need to get started with what she had. Fashioning some sort of binding agent shouldn't be too difficult, though she'd need a shovel and perhaps some sort of softener for the soil to make it easier to dig...

Hmm...
I lied, have a post

@Hammerman

I forgot to mention you in the post, so I'ma doing it here.

Odette listened to the conversation, walking along behind Ash and Kyoko with great interest despite what her facial features might say. She had read a few books on both magic, as well as runes and alchemy before, but she was by no means any sort of master in any of the fields. Well, if she spent enough time around these two she was certain to learn something good. Maybe even a bit about herself in the process, though she doubted any of them would be able to help directly with that. As they neared Ash's luggage, she heard kyoko mentioned telepathy would be easy for most non-magical beings.

...did that mean she could...?

She hadn't considered the possibility. She could communicate with spirits via telepathy, or at least a form of it. Some spirits weren't exactly the conversationalist sort and sometimes all she could get were vague emotions, feelings, and things like that. Full sentences would still be difficult sometimes, but perhaps she could try. Being able to talk with someone in a way without her bumbling around her words would be nice, regardless. She'd try later, for now she was too busy focused on Ash and her 'portable' lab. Was she about to see some potion brewing or something? Well, Ash had her full attention at least - but maybe she should show off a bit, too? Though, she wasn't certain how'd they react to a bunch of lost souls suddenly showing up out of nowhere....

For now, she remained quiet and followed Ash outside, curious about whatever potions she could be making.

@Blu

"Aha, adorable little cub...thinking of his big sister first." Well, they were both hungry so why not? She didn't really know of anywhere to eat around here. Did they have any restaurants in town? She didn't know, she wasn't from around here. Would she even be allowed off campus? Mother told her not to stray far without good reason, but this seemed like a sufficiently good reason to go looking around town a bit...food was important, after all. Even she, a cosmic being from the outer realms needed sustenance in some form. Before she could suggest anything though, Lily decided to find them.

how entertaining.

"Ah, shy little rabbit," Bea giggled, tilting her head to the side in her usual quizzical fashion. She hadn't revealed to Tsuki she was not, in fact human yet, which meant this was going to be most amusing. Did she assume Tsuki knew? Or did she simply wished to avoid conflict for some reason? Whatever it was, she was already entertained whatever her motive and thoughts were. "You didn't follow me here, did you? So little trust, little rabbit. Little birdies don't like someone not liking their song. It makes them sad." She made sure to emphasize the 'little rabbit' part in both sentences. Seeing the dragon get riled up and angry would be most amusing, no? Well, as long as she didn't do anything stupid. Dragons were no known for their intelligence, after all. At least, she thought so from what she always read about them. "This is Tsukihana. My little brother." Not a lie. Not at all.

"We were just talking about going to eat a little bit...would you care to join us?" Bea offered, a mischievous smirk forming on her lips. Lily would suddenly feel something slimy and damp wrapping around her foot. "The little birdie, cub, and shy little rabbit could dine together, it'd be enough to make even the little food stealing kittens jealous~"
Hrm

I'll get a post up tomorrow.

am tired.

Uhm uhm

Peace?

Diplomacy?

Uhm uhm, how did one go about doing that. She was all for it of course, but if they wanted to make friends, she wasn't going to easily be doing that. She didn't exactly have a weapon built for that sword of thing. A giant sword like hers was built for one thing, and one thing only. Defending oneself and others, or taking out threats. As cruel and perhaps mean as that sounded, making friends with every spirit here was not what Lena was trying to do.

"U-uhm...can we really be diplomatic with them, though?" Lena asked, readying her sword. "I don't want to fight either, but they don't seem like they want to back down..." Granted, with her giant sword it was a bit difficult to maneuver in this space and hit an agile target if she was careless.

For now she'd stay at the ready to defend any of the others who were being attacked, as well as herself if any of the snakes came after her. She didn't want to hurt any of the snakes if the rest of the group didn't want to either...

"Aha, I said I would try, but Livia is surprisingly stubborn even compared to a dragon sometimes." She chuckled. "If I feel better tomorrow, I shall talk with her. For now though you should probably try and get some rest. You look absolutely exhausted little one." With a stretch and small flap of her wings, kicking up a bit of water the dragon gave her a gentle smile. "Sleep here, if you wish. I likely won't be going anywhere for awhile...at least, not until I feel better, I'll wake you when I leave."

~Cynthia~

Wrong...idea?

Cynthia's cheeks started turning the color of red as she realized what the Yuki-Onna was getting at.

"That is most certainly not what I was thinking of you perverted cretin." Cynthia replied quickly and harshly. "I just...was...thinking about...how I could do this talking thing...better." If they were done with the teaching bit, she had the rest of the day off so they should go do something. "...perhaps you'd like to visit somewhere on campus? Have you been to the baths? They are a little warm but there is a cool side bath for the familiars with a bit more...cooler tastes." She really probably should have suggested something other than that, but that was the default suggestion she went too if the headmistress was troubled by something.

For uhm, various reasons.

No ulterior motives at all.

~Myrilla~

"Tsk, so quick to deny me." She chuckled, the book Swen needed vanishing in an instant as little wisps of black particles disappeared into the aether. Myrilla took a step closer, leaning over slightly to be on a more even level with the young lord. She smirked, either amused or irritated though it was difficult to tell. "I don't want your soul. I have no need of a pathetic soul like yours. It'd barely be a drop in the pond, as they say. I could hardly do anything with it." She gave him an affectionate seeming pat on his cheek. "And try not to let the perfume go to your head, I had lust make it for me. It's surprisingly effective at making you funny little mortals quite...cooperative, heh~"

She stood at her full height again, a cruel smile forming.

"Though, I suppose sense you are disrespectful enough to try and walk out on me...you're not the type to be easily controlled, are you? That's good, it'll make this so much more fun." Her tone suddenly got much, much darker as she laughed. "Let me teach you a little respect, boy. If you're at least half decent as that disrespect of yours suggest, you won't die."

Red energy crackled in the air around Myrilla, flowing along the ground until it reached Swen's feet. It was the only warning Swen would have before the ground beneath him began to twist and seemingly come alive. Pillars of earth shot into the air, twisting as easily as if they were water before slamming right down onto Swen. If it hit, it certainly wouldn't be enough to kill him, but it'd certainly break more than a few bones.

Truthfully, this was a bit much but Myrilla was extremely stressed. Peaceful times recently meant she didn't exactly have all that many...outlets, for her aggression.

Damn council and their urging for peace...

~Livia~

"Oh my, if the Elder Undine heard you saying that about her lake she'd do all sorts of fun things to you." Livia chuckled. "I'll have you know that lake is likely the healthiest, most sparkling water in the entire world. All sorts of magical creatures live there if you were unaware katherine, dear, and they make a point to keep the water sparkling clean. It even has healing properties, from what tests I've run. But if you don't want to go to the lake, where else do you suggest we go? I suppose we could take a quick trip to somewhere using the teleportation services..."

Truthfully, Livia didn't want to stray too far from the campus but...well, if her precious little student could suggest somewhere fun...
@FamishedPants

Oh boy.

Looks like Bea, Kurou and Shizu are roomies.

Whatever you do, absolutely tell her she is allowed nowhere near their bed. Especially whilst sleeping.

@Spriggs27

Enjoy the poltergeists making a mess of everything.

Also I'ma Co-GM now.

Rawr, fear me.

@Melpaws@Spriggs27

A...witch?

A few bad experiences with witches and magical types made the ghost wary of them. If she had known Kyoko was a witch from the start, this entire relationship might have gone in an entirely different manner. Granted, Kyoko didn't seem the type to press her into service against her will like a few had tried to do in the past, but...Odette could help but to be put on her guard a little now. Thankfully, at times like this her stony face came in quite handy. It would likely be quite difficult to tell her thoughts from her facial expression.

Instead, she acted in a totally appropriate manner and poked Kyoko right in the forehead. Even if they had only met, she let her believe she was human. That deserved a poke on the forehead at the very least. Also, it was always fun to mess with witches a little bit. The last necromancer who she ran into, now had a fear of ghosts and she still found that hilarious. Especially if she happened upon him by accident.

She then crossed her arms, turning to Ash with a neutral expression. Alchemy? That sounded vaguely familiar, though she couldn't place it. She was curious as to what exactly these 'potions' were though. Not like she could ever actually drink anything...at least, in her experience she couldn't.

@Blu

"Never been to the ocean?" Bea tilted her head to the side, trying to put those words together in a coherent sentence and failing. How could one not have been to the ocean? The ocean was the most beautiful sight in the cosmos. Granted, she was likely speaking of an entirely different ocean but she was certain the ones on earth were just as beautiful. Were humans not born with the ability to swim? She supposed she could attempt to teach, but she didn't think that'd be very...effective considering multiple things.

"Ah..." She smiled, giving the thought of Lily, Edward, Hinako, and Ascot a dismissive shake of her head. "Those little ants simply are doing what they must. Little birdie can not fault them for that, for they are not entirely wrong." She giggled, though didn't feel the need to elaborate. He'd find out in time, with his own eyes. Besides, little cub was hungry...and well, she was hungry as well since she never got that food. She was interrupted by bunny dragon and then she had to take care of this adorable precious little human child.

"Ah, no little cub if you are hungry...well, this little birdie never did get to eat either. Aaah, I do so miss the days when mother birdie would feed me all I wanted, hehe~" She giggled. "Big sis can show you to the dorms...but how about the little birdie and little cub go find food after?"
