Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Well, for the most part it looked like she escaped.

Ash moved swiftly as she could along the floor, hoping quietly that her comrades had gotten some distance between themselves and the goblins. As soon as she had gotten far enough away, she took cover behind some rock formations and quietly watched from the sidelines. It wasn't long before she heard the footfalls of one of the goblins chase after here. A bit better at tracking than she had hoped. The goblin didn't seem too bothered by anything either so she had missed or the poison simply didn't take effect. She narrowed her eyes at the goblin from the shadows, considering her options.

Attack and have some free food...or perhaps converse? Well, if there was one thing she loathed in her former life it was senseless violence. She just never spoke up about it. She didn't intend to have the same attitude this time.

Climbing atop a rock to put herself at more even level with the goblin, she made her presence known.

"...Not as stupid as I thought, if you can follow after me." She hissed quietly. "Seems I either missed or you're tougher than you look, too." She chuckled narrowing her eyes at the goblin female and observing her for any signs of hostility as she spoke. "...but instead of trying to kill each other, perhaps we can converse instead?"

Well have my interest then, if you need one more~

~Isabella~

In a rather cold seeming fashion, Isabella pulled the blade back from the beast's throat, watching it fall to the ground without concern. For a few seconds, she stood there as Valora and Prescott managed to finally pry open the door.

"Well," Prescott whistled. "That was...something, your highness."

"I'll talk to you about that fancy sword of yours later." Valora sighed, glancing over to the lifeless body of Tripp. "Son of a...well," She quickly turned her attention back to Isabella. "Lets get this over with, but we need to proceed with caution. We'll give him a proper burial on our way out." Isabella nodded quietly, sheathing Valiant. Honestly, Valora had so many questions already about this place. Why was the door closed? Why did it smell like there had not been anyone here in ages? If the other party passed through, then it shouldn't smell quite so stale. Likewise...why hadn't the statue been triggered by them?

She'd get her answers later, but for now she had to make sure Isabella didn't end up dead.

"Your highness, behind me if you would. Tripp, bring up the rear." Valora mentioned as Turnip trotted over. He had hid himself behind the rubble of the other statue during the confrontation. She reached into his saddle bags, pulling out two torches that had been doused in specially treated cloth so they would burn longer. Lightning the both of them with simple flint and steel, she handed one to Prescott and took the other herself.

"Quietly now." Valora spoke back to them as they stepped into the old ruin. "Sword at the ready, Prescott. And keep your eyes peeled for traps."

Isabella gave Turnip a reassuring pet on his nose before following Valora in.

Alright so, sorry for the Delay but got that skill update finally. Do tell if there are problems~

Near the Bonfire

@Renny@Lucius Cypher - The Goblins

It seemed they were in agreement then.

Ash hurried after Ryuu, taking a different approach to the goblins. Slinking along the ground, she quietly made her way across the ground until she found a nice stalagmite to climb onto. Scaling up the stone structure slightly, she had a good vantage point of the gathered goblins. Well, as good of a vantage point a small lizard like her could possibly have over something twice her size. She watched the scene quietly from her hopefully hidden position. Ryuu did an admirable job, and if that didn't get his attention nothing would.

As soon as Ryuu dashed off to hopeful safety, Ash made her move and targeted the smaller goblins. Filling her mouth with venom, she lobbed a ball right when they would hopefully be chasing after Ryuu. Deciding not to be done, she filled her mouth a second time in as quick of succession as she could manage before firing a second. Her aim here wasn't to directly damage, but poison, but two shots were all she was going to go for.

She hopped off the stalagmite, hitting the ground and scurrying away hopefully before even being seen. If the goblins did get poisoned, it would definitely hinder how far they could search and move.

Ooh, one more skill?

Not sure what I could give Anissa...I'll think about it and get back to you tomorrow night on it.
Rune's standard long intro post has now been posted. Woop~
Anissa

Anissa spun slowly in the chair, twirling a pen in her fingers.

To say she had been hit with writers block was an understatement. She wanted to start a new series about something, but what? Her publisher was breathing down her neck for a new title too, and she really could use one. She wasn't making much in the way of money doing this. Maybe a fantasy story of some sort? She could be the next Tolkien, or Martin if she could ever find something that stuck, but that was the problem wasn't it? She was fairly confident in her story lines, characters, and plots...so what was the problem? Did people just not like her writing?

"No no, of course not. My writing is wonderful." She spun around in her chair, stopping when she was facing her desk as she put a pen to paper. Best thing to do when you wanted to create, was to create and see what happened. Rough sketches, words and places...descriptions. Write and see what stuck. That was what she did anyways, and it had usually worked. So, what did any fantasy world need? A name. Name....name...

"Welcome to Arcadia."

"Arcadia...?" She closed her eyes for a second in thought. "Eh, no, sounds a little bland and-" Immediately upon opening her eyes again, a look of utter shock crossed her face as she realized she was no longer sitting in her bedroom. In fact, she was in some place that was so out of place she had to wonder if she hit her head in that little temper tantrum and this was some fever dream while in reality she was foaming at the mouth and humming the Lord of the Rings theme over and over again. The only thing that got her attention pulled from her thoughts was when the wagon bumped along the road, nearly sending her over the side of it.

"Oof, I'm certainly not in the UK any more..." She took a quick look around the wagon, noticing a few others with her. Human too, from the look of it. Of varying backgrounds and stories likely. Overall though, Anissa barely paid attention to the short, burly man that was saying something about goblins and the others. She was too busy trying to rationalize her predicament

"Hmm..." Anissa narrowed her eyes, watching the dwarf-like man - Magni, run off and meet the group of Goblins. "...Either I'm wearing a jacket that lets me hug myself and am currently in one of those lovely white padded rooms, or I've somehow ended traveling with what looks to be a dwarf in a medieval wagon." She mused silently to herself, standing up from where she was sitting. "And since I know I am in fact, completely sane...the second option must be the correct one."

Before she could really do anything else however, two of the others with her took action first. One of the men hopped off the wagon, ordering them to get the wagon turned around before running into the fray. Anissa merely blinked as she watched, one of the other men giving a prayer of some sort?

"Well, this is quite interesting." She mused, standing up in the wagon. "So we have a holy man, a man too eager to play hero, a writer, and a whole rag-tag group! How quaint. I couldn't ask for a better setting." She laughed, perhaps taking this situation far too lightly. Or perhaps it was misplaced confidence.

"Don't worry!" She said in reply to one of the other's question. "Lets see...I read about it in a book once...driving a wagon shouldn't be too difficult, no?" She hopped into the drivers seat, taking the reigns and attempting to turn the wagon around.

~Isabella~

Isabella wasn't paying too much attention to her surroundings, let alone whatever it was that Valiant was showing her. The temple...the screams. She just felt her body move with Valiant in the way she had intended. The blade slammed into the stone, shattering the wing and sending the bird stumbled past her. It scrambled along the ground like a wounded animal, the stone eagle pathetically limping back towards her in an obvious attempt to finish the job it failed to start.

Isabella moved swiftly towards the stone beast as quickly as her feet were able too. As soon as she got within striking distance, she swung valiant in an upwards stroke, hoping to behead the beast.

"I've seen one before, obviously." Ash sighed at the Pixie who had asked a really stupid question...wait, actually, how would it know what a horse is?...He couldn't be much older than her current incarnation. That was odd. Really odd. In fact, the Pixie had been making some rather odd statements since he had showed up. For now she'd write it off as coincidence - they had more trouble incoming. Ash's eyes narrowed, emerald green slits gazing into the darkness where Rain was looking. Studying the scene for a few seconds, she came to a single conclusion - they were gonna have bad times.

"Slimes. Ardur." She hissed quietly over to her new compatriots, skittering closer to them so they could hear her but still keep her voice low. She wasn't confident that they could fight a big goblin by themselves even with numbers. Maybe if they could have some clever tactics, but as it stood they weren't going to be having a fun time. "You three get out of here. Fighting that big Goblin is going to be suicide." She turned her head quickly to Rain and Ryuu. "The three of us will distract them for only a few moments. We'll meet up again later, further from the bonfire. I have things I'd like to discuss about all of us." Whether they accepted that plan of action of course, was all on them, but it seemed to be the best course of action for now. She was confident in their ability to distract while the others escaped and flee soon after.
