Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Alfy didn't protest to being sat straight, she was a bit dizzy from just having taken a tumble down the mountain. Once she was sat up straight, she dusted off her dress lightly and turned to Kaze.

"Silly Kaze," Alfy giggled brightly, following Kaze into his shop. "Didn't you see? I totally was watching the ground just now. Soft, squishy, and brown." Obviously referring to the fact she had just been face planted in it. She may have only been here a week at most, but she certainly didn't mind spending time with the Blacksmith. She may not be able to smith weapons - but he did share her affinity for ores and digging at least. A bit of comfort to find a bit of a kindred spirit after all this time.

"Nnnope, no ores or anything though," Alfy pouted lightly. "This ground is all soft and not good for it. Not even a tiny little jasper stone." Noticing a few things being worked on in the forge however, Alfy immediately took interest, waltzing over and placing herself right in front of the forge. "What ya making here?" She was dangerously close. Enough to probably cause slight concern.

Thinking about doing a dragon summoner.

How much variety of dragons are there? Wyverns, hydras, basilisks, (standard) dragons, drakes, and wyrms are listed, but Are all of them standard fire breathing dragons, or could they have different elemental affinities? Say a Dragon that could use electricity/lightning, or a Wyvern with the ability to harness wind.

"Diggy diggy hole, digging a hole~♪" Not far outside of the city, just a little ways up the hill outside of Kaze's little boulder, was a girl dressed in white. A hammer was in her hands, and she was whacking away at a few rocks with a sizable hammer almost comically large for her. She raised the hammer, smashing it into the ground, grinding up the rocks into nothing but pebbles with impressive seeming strength.

"A hole right into the mountain~♪" Seemingly not finding what she was looking for, she moved to another rock on the ground happily continuing to sing her song as she brought another rock to its untimely demise. A large part of it tumbled down the hill, likely causing some of it to cause a bit of a ruckus elsewhere.

"Gonna smash some rocks, gonna crack them open~♪" She emphasized the point unconsciously by smashing open another rock with one swift, powerful motion. The poor, defenseless rock was shattered in an instant, its remains tumbling down the slope. Still nothing it seemed. Hm. Her intuition was telling her there was something around here. She could feel it in her boney bones, but it was playing hard to get!

"Gonna find some shinies, gonna find some ore~♪" Turning to a rather sizable boulder, Alfy hefted her hammer, placing the head of it onto the face of the rock, testing the angle of impact. She gave it a few light taps. Hmm...her intuition was telling her this one was going to sparkle! Yep yep, it was a good rock! It was probably hiding all kinds of valuables in it.

"Gonna make 'em sparkle," Grabbing the hammer with both hands, Alfy raised it behind her shoulder, still singing her little song. "when I smashy smash the rock, smashing a rock, YAAAH~♪" With a mighty yell, she brought the hammer full force into the rock. At least, that was her intent.

The rock was precariously perched right on the ledge.

A rather rocky ledge with poor footing.

"WAAAAH?!" As soon as she swung, she tripped right over a rock, flinging her hammer off into the distance down the mountain, towards Kaze's shop below. The hammer slammed into the roof of Kaze's boulder, creating a loud thunk noise as it slammed into it before twirling up into the air. Alfy wasn't very far behind, tumbling down the mountain, and getting just enough momentum to get airborne as she slid off another ledge, slamming into the ground below face first, followed shortly by her hammer landing right next to her as the head buried itself in the ground, the handle whacking her right in the back of the head.

"...owie."

Not seconds after lamenting the loss of her doughnut, did something unexpected happen. Her ears heard it first. The sound of something...climbing? Like scratching against stone. For a few seconds she simply passed it off as post doughnut loss stress, but it continued until she could very clearly hear it from close by. Once she looked up, she was met with a sight she had no idea how to even respond too. A girl - no wait - two girls, one with cat ears with a bag of...doughnuts in her mouth had somehow climbed up the entire building, carrying a second on her back.

It took Rina's brain an entire thirty seconds to process what she was even looking at. The cricket symphony she was pretty sure she was hearing wasn't helping. Had she finally gone crazy? Had the magic finally all gone to her head? What she did understand however, was one thing. Doughnuts.

Placing a hand on both of Mika's shoulders, looking at her like she was some sort of doughnut goddess, swiping the bag from Mika's mouth and quickly taking one out before realizing she probably should be questioning this more. A normal girl somehow speaking the thoughts of a monster girl was most certainly not normal. Yea, little red flags everywhere, but Rina didn't feel any inherent hostility from this one.

"...uh, right, okay." She coughed nervously, biting into one of the doughnuts. "I'm just going to...not ask questions because I don't think I want to know the answer, but uh, thanks. For the doughnuts." It was then, she got another beep from her phone. That was fast. Thankfully she wasn't startled by it this time. Quickly flipping out the phone, Rina read the message.

Hello. I would be glad to discuss a partnership and potential cooperation between you and the Beacon. If you can see the ominous storm clouds above the city right now, I would be happy to meet with you at their epicenter, where we can get to know each other better and determine if a partnership would be worthwhile at the same time

She wanted to meet...there? She was probably in the middle of cleaning up whatever that mess was then.

"Uh look-" Taking a second out of the bag, she handed the bag of doughnuts back to Mika. "Thanks, but I've gotta go." She motioned towards the ominous clouds in the distance. "I uh, dunno about your friend," She blushed slightly, remembering the 'more than friends' part. Actually. Wait. She had a phone now. She could...text people! Maybe...could she? Would she?...

She didn't have anything to write it with, did she?

"But I've got work to do and not any time to waste. I'll properly thank you later!" Said perhaps a bit harsher than she intended, but she was too embarrassed to try and correct herself. Besides, she did have a job to do. So Rina stuck one doughnut in her mouth before jumping off the rooftop, unknowingly dining and dashing on Mika for the second time.

Understood. I'll be the bow user with the swords. Red Attire. Meet you there - Rina.

What even was this? The feeling of illness in the air. A stifling, stagnating, sick smell that threatened to make her vomit. Urgh, this was just bad, wasn't it? The ominous clouds in the air proved as such. She could easily tell what was going on. From both the dragons experience, and her other sources of information. This was bad. Someone was doing something quite filthy.

How obscene.

She'd find whoever it was and make sure to thoroughly purify them. She wouldn't stand for such things in her world.

"Woooow! It's like it's almost nighttime!"

"Indeed, Aurora." Chloe said with a frown. "Smells like someone's doing something they shouldn't." The Dark Magical girl tapped her orb irritably, the dark sphere cold to the touch as usual. This was...troubling. Extremely so. She may have had slight...shall we say, not morally upstanding traits or desires, but she didn't wish the destruction of the world. Nay, she wanted something infinitely better for everyone.

"So what we gonna do?"

"Hm. Whoever and whatever this is, I'm getting nothing. The dragons' old memories say this seems familiar, but I'm getting nothing from our Lord except a hatred." Smirking lightly, Chloe shifted her stance. "I'll go...deal with them. No doubt Beacon is also going to be all over this, and It would be best I deal with them. I can at least, talk my way out of things easier than you'd be able too."

"Aww...I don't get to fight?"

"I want you to do something else for me. You've gotten a good grasp of your powers now, correct?"

"Hmm...I think so? I've been training on some ghosties I've found around the place."

"..." Chloe turned to look at Aurora, face turning into one of mild confusion before being replaced with obvious anger. Reaching out, she grabbed the boy by one of his cheeks, pulling on it roughly.

"Wah! Hey! What'd I do?!"

"Those ghosties were my scouts."

"Wah I'm sorry I didn't know!"

"Ugh, well It doesn't matter at the moment." She replied with a sigh. "I want you to simply keep watch for now, Aurora. If Beacon shows up in mass, I'll definitely be in a slight bit of a bind."

"But-" A swift glare from Chloe quickly silenced Aurora. "Yes Chloe sorry Chloe. Understood!" He meekly replied, before quickly bouncing back. "You can trust your back to the luckiest magical girl around, yep! I'll make sure nothing bad gets yer backside!" She had a few reasons for not including Aurora in this. Mostly because she didn't want to potentially reveal more of her hand to Beacon. She also couldn't afford to potentially lose Aurora in this. Man power was a precious resource she wasn't keen on wasting, and she if nothing else, protected her things.

"Lets get started then, shall we?"

Wings of crystal carried Chloe into the air, her orb trailing behind her. Hmhm, maybe she could have a little fun with Beacon while she was there. She really did want to get on some speaking terms with them, if possible. Maybe she could use this to build a relationship of some sort, hm? Either way, she couldn't let whatever this was happen on her watch.

Heyo, a huge Rune Factory fan here. I noticed Half-monsters were on the limited races, so if I wanted to app one would I just need to submit it and have you tell me yay or nay?
I've been considering making a second character

But I'll see what it looks like on my end once I get through the move and the tournament ends.
Tentative interest has been had.

"Right?" Viola said in reply to Meruin's statement. Well, she didn't entirely mind. The ground was actually pleasantly cool, but if it got her dress dirty she might be mildly irritable. "And I'm not a runt you uncouth simpleton. I happen to be the epitome of beauty and adorableness." She replied, somehow still seeming smug despite her situation. That said, she turned back to the tress, having just listened to Tavi saying more silly things. She was awfully quick to give up.

"Treants," Viola began, slowing her voice in an effort to match their ponderous, rumbling voices. If one wanted to commune with nature, one had to become one with it, after all. Not fight it. In fact she was rather pleased to be in this situation, if only because it let her speak with them more candidly. "Please forgive that ones rashness. I myself have come, only to...converse. Potentially learn, if you would allow it." She really could sympathize with the Treants. She wasn't one to really speed through things herself.

"Whew," Claire, having just stepped into the valley took a moment to take in the large mountains on either side of her. "Man, I kinda wanna climb that mountain just to say that I did, heh!" She definitely didn't have the right tools to go mountain climbing though. Nor the right pokemon. Maybe if she had a little help from Zeal once he evolved, but that'd still probably be living right on the edge.

Quickly, Claire moved down the pathways, Ralia still sitting on her shoulder as she moved further down the mountain. Lets see...hmm, she wanted to be in a slight hurry, but at the same time not taking a moment to enjoy the views would be rather silly.

Well, a little training wouldn't hurt while doing a bit of exploration.
