So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Does the Mandalorian rule apply to Wookies?

If it's a Mandalorian Wookie yes. If it's just a Wookie, no.

I really disagree(in the politest of ways.) If you get basic Tutaminis, you can negate the threat of the Force owning her in combat situations. Not to mention, most of this RP is going to be about exploring the opposite sides of the Force and what it can take to get pulled to the other side. While combat will happen, it won't be a main focus.

I think your idea can still work with two normal Lightsabers, but Sep is the resident expert on that. He can help you with figuring all that jazz out.

Truedat.

Come back to us Genni. EXPLORE THE MYSTERIES OF THE FORCE WITH US.

IS THERE A LIGHT SIDE? IS THERE A DARK SIDE?

ONLY YOU CAN HELP US FIND OUT @GENNI

Believe me, I'm trying my best to get a character up. Lotta stuff going on right now.

'sall cool. Even if we start you'll have plenty of chances to appear.
Just throwing this out here, but I'm creating a padawan who obviously gets a captured, and if there's anyone who has a master character without a padawan, then I think we could work something out. If not, then I'll just create a NPC master who gets fried during the Sacking. Let me know.

I got one, but I am unsure if @Vietmyke is still planning to be my Padawan.
I thank the three of you :P Once the said changes are made you're accepted. Will give @Chev tomorrow, which is when I'll throw up my own sheet then we can start.
@Sep
Run with it.

I shall post tomorrow at lunch, to give you a time frame it is 10 to 10 in GMT+1, and I have lunch tomorrow (At work) at 12pm on the nose.
You wanna throw a tidbit in @t2wave or should I just run with Ryans response?
Actually, I think I'm going to bow out of the RP. I was going for a fast moving, knife fighter style of character but since most of the characters who are being accepted seem to be over-the-top Force users I don't think Dede would fit in very well.

Best of luck with the story.

Sorry to see you go, though I will say sorry if what I said made it seem you can't be nippy and fast :P There are even knife lightsaber variants, whose name eludes me currently. Or the use of Jar'kai with two normal lightsabers is quite fast and acrobatic and seems to fit what you have built so far.
Sep is the one to accept or deny CSs, but I'll give my thoughts on yours, @SgtEasy. I might be just arguing semantics, but it really wouldn't be possible to create a blaster "proof" coat. Blaster resistance, though, is certainly possible. Armorweave is a material that can be woven into a cloth which is blaster resistant. It wouldn't be as effective as heavier armor like durasteel, but it would definitely provide resistance.

Slugthrowers aren't common, but they are certainly used in the Star Wars universe. They aren't as powerful or as easy to use as blasters, as blaster bolts do not drop with gravity, but they do have advantages in some situations. Visibility comes to mind, as it wouldn't be as easy to track the origin of a shot. As well, they can be made more quiet than a blaster. During the time of the Galactic Republic, some mercenaries would use slugthrowers with high rates of fire, which could not be completely blocked with a lightsaber. Disadvantages include, of course, they fact that they don't deal as much damage. Also, since blasters are the norm, ammunition for ballistic weapons is more expensive. I have no issue with the ballistic firearms, I just thought those were interesting points.

Also this. Something to take into account for cause we won't be running around after Jedi so the advantages in a slugthrower are limited down to being harder to track. I'd say that during this time frame as the occasional nutjob finds a lightsaber it's more likely to be a secondary weapon.

I'll get my own character up tonight with all hopes, and we'll let Chev make his sheet before we kick off.

How about people referring to her formally as 'Do' (her surname), informally as 'Cyclone' (after both her Telekinetic Whirlwind ability and her tendency to move 'like the wind' in close combat) and casually as 'Cyc' (pronounced as Psych, a shortened form of Cyclone, and possibly a comment on her being a little psycho at times. )

<Snipped quote by Sundered Echo>
There's probably a good reason for her being on Coruscant, but Dede wouldn't necessarily know about it herself. She might be just as confused as the others as to why she woke up there rather than on H’Ratth.

<Snipped quote by Sundered Echo>
After careful consideration I think I'll drop the Tutaminis ability. I just can't see it fitting with Dede's style of combat and persona. As I said before, she's more likely to dodge an attack than try to absorb it, and for those occasions when she can't the Force Deflection would be used to provide cover.

The shoto she'd be using would only be about 20cm long each (similar to the one Master Sora Bulq uses in his left hand,) so it would be easier for her to 'punch' the blaster bolts away with her hand than to try and steer the short, thin blade to deflect them in time, even with her enhanced Jedi reflexes, so I think the Force Deflection would still work for her.

<Snipped quote by Sundered Echo>
I didn't mean to give the impression that the Council had Dede's ex-partner killed after allowing her relationship to continue, the woman in question was just a tragic casualty of war with no hidden agenda in play.

Of course, if a Sith wanted to plant that seed of doubt into Dede's mind... >D

At the request of the @Ellri(I can read up the source material as I possess the Jedi Path book if required for exact quotes).

Shotos are designed as secondary blades or for shorter races. In terms of wielding two as primaries I find it highly unlikely. You can't get the level of control into a shorter handled blade than you can into a regular one, also when the hilt is shorter there are less inner workings and the blades are shorter.

Most people wielded them as blades designed to bat back blaster bolts or deflect lightsaber strikes but it is risky to put a lot of force into them as you can't have as good a grip on them as you can a regular saber. In war time I don't think you'd want to impede your combat style too much by having two shotos, more than likely you could have one shoto and one regular lightsaber or even two regular as regular hilt length lightsabers can still be dual wielded.
