I am still alive, I check back every few days though, since much of my time has been on FF14. Using mentions has been very helpful.

As the class moved down into the area where they had fought the Megaladeus before, albeit to a different chamber, everyone was already thinking of how to best this beast. Though defanged it could still inflict significant damage with just whipping about. It's many appendages meant it didn't matter if they surrounded it or not, it'd still be able to fend off every direction with little impunity, so what was the solution then...? Everyone's unique skills meant they had more options than normal. If it came to it, Jack himself could single-handedly disarm it for a few short moments, given he has enough nails thrown out. Unlike more conventional foes, there didn't seem to be a clear weak point or advantage to obtain like disabling arms and legs... However that large mouth while dangerous, was also an opportunity. Someone here seemed to think so...

"Hmmm that's fair, We can just fire away or throw some ordinance in it's mouth. I think keeping it still is a good idea and you should do that", he suggested.

"I can cut away those arms very quickly to create an opening, or if an opening is made I can take out the masked arms, then someone else can lay into it's open mouth with as much firepower as we've got". The plan seemed sound, keep it still, disarm and then pelt it with as much damage as possible in the most tender spots. It was certainly more to his style, finding the most efficient way and abusing any weak points or places of opportunity.
Jungle Tabernacle - Lair of the Brood

@Zarkun

"These are simple terms and you would question them?!", she did not seem happy with that. But while she surged a little, she piped back down.

"My brood cannot roam freely above ground for the very reason it is easy to find a body. Perhaps with some time they can drag some bodies for me to build something, but if you wish for me to help you sooner, then you would do well to bring me something to start using", until she can make a more suitable form than a giant spider that is.

"Now go. My brood have cut away the webbing to the way out", Wrath would look to his side at the previously thickly webbed door now open. Beyond he could saw a peculiar orb, floating as it were... So this was the source of power he felt...?

"As for the orb, you may remove it. But if you wish for my help, then do return with a body for me to use", she reminded. "For now, my brood shall stay in hiding. There is no reason for us to join this war just yet", and so the way was open for Wrath to continue.

With both Lily and Fenn charging into the battle, the Hatred's chances of being a threat were reduced greatly, especially with Akoni managing to control the power emanating from the orb, the demon was no longer benefiting from it's aura. The others of the demon horde were beginning to recede with the angels cutting them away as the Hatred flared back up again, only for it to suddenly fall limp. Tried to summon more strength to fight it did, but there was no strength left in it as it unceremoniously fell once more to the ground.

As the battle around the mausoleum subsided and the demon horde retreated. There was a silence as the angels looked at their unlikely saviors, demons and humans, and half breeds, they did not seem too happy with the help they were getting, but as agents of order, they resolved to obey their superiors and respect the decision of the council.

For now, it would be wise for them to head over to the seal, and see to the results of their retrieval.

"There will be a bunch more", he responded to Kanna. Speaking of which, here comes Matthew, he greeted him cordially before they waited for the rest. Though he kept silent, he noticed there was a bit of tension between a few of them, it was an almost sharp contrast to the excitement of everyone else present. Some people had brought equipment of their own too.

"It seems the train is about to arrive... Let's get going", with that announcement everyone gathered up their things and headed into the terminal.

Sadaomi Beach

The train was a roughly one to two hour ride, not a very long ride, but considering how many people were present for this, they were a very large group. The train ride itself was uneventful save for some idle chatter. As soon as the scenery outside changed though, they could see the northern coast of Japan, and out to the sea. It was a breathtaking view only the open sea to greet them. The shadows on the horizon though was a small reminder that this was indeed the northern coast, as that figure along the horizon was China.

Regardless, upon arriving at the train station just a short stop away Niigata, they got off with the beach a short walk away. Upon arriving they could see there were already foot stands and all sorts of facilities set up, most of which were new.

"This is actually a very new beach, the Nanjo Corporation has been taking strides in urbanizing older areas, this is one of them", it wasn't apparent to anyone but those who knew what companies were under Nanjo, but those who were familiar would realize that a lot of the buildings and main stores here that weren't small private stores were under the Nanjo conglomerate. Kazuki seemed to be a bit bothered by coming here though, if it was simply him not wanting to go to the beach it should or would usually subside a bit now that he was here, but he seemed to be avoiding looking at the storefronts for too long, or if he did it would be with a rather glum or irate expression.

"Well anyways, I'm gonna go and find us a spot on the beach. I'll let you all know when we've settled, see ya!", within moments of finishing her little announcement she grabbed Kazuki and dragged him down onto the sands. The beach was new, meaning, there were a lot of people here. Not nearly as much as the southern coasts around Tokyo which were always completely packed, but this place was quite populated.

"Huh... Well I guess we'll just take a look around then", he said, turning to the rest.

As Rui was looking around to new arrivals, greeting them as appropriate, he noticed a figure in the distance. It stood out not only because it was not moving like the few other people who were in the street at this hour, but also because there were so few people at this hour, so anyone would stand out doing anything even slightly odd. He waved over to the person over there, having recognized who it was. The last time Rui saw him was at the hospital with his usual offer, the boy's name was Kanna Watanabe, whom they had rescued shortly after Samuru's rescue, though his acceptance seemed to require him more thought.

Before the boy could speak however, Shizuka had appeared, and then approached Kanna asking him.

"Ah, yeah he is. You weren't in the group that rescued him that's right... This is Kanna, I sent him a message about the beach trip if he wanted to come and...", Rui examined the boy. He was in gear. He seemed more eager for this than he let on it seems...

"And he seems quite ready", he added. He would press to see if Kanna had decided to join them as a Persona user or not, but this time and setting was not appropriate. After all they were here to just have fun, and it should just be that, a bunch of highschool kids enjoying the summer.

"Well, anyways, are we waiting on anyone...?", he pondered.
Do we have anything being done for overarching story?

I think we have a good chance to make a nicely intertwining story that gives everyone a role within it.
I've posted for Varius.

Ignore the previous notification.
It'd be hard to do that. I really wish Roxas didn't set this RP up to have everyone enter the Velvet Room. Clearly they did not respect how structured the Velvet Room was.

Varius Gilver

"Hmph, 'fried' you say Shuai, but I'm afraid I do not make such a primitive dish. Behold, tempura tuna", he responded as a montage of making the batter, applying it to the fish, frying it, and taking it out to put it onto a neatly organized dish with sauce took place. With that ready it was only up to Shuai to take that... And the request salmon sushi.

Unfortunately they did not bring salmon, but Varius was not one to be unprepared.

"My family may not be here today, but our delivery networks never rest. I took the liberty of sending a notification to the fishery in town", with a click of his fingers a crate parachuted down in the middle of the food court relayed by a helicopter with his family company's logo on it before flying away. Upon Shuai opening the crate to deliver the contents to the stand he would find it was full of salmon. Soon as it was taken to the stand, Varius would proceed to prepare the salmon sushi as if nothing abnormal had happened.

"I hope the food is to your liking dear customers", an incredible display... Such was the power of wealth one supposes.

Rui greeted Kotori as she arrived,

"Good morning Kotori, you're among the first ones here", he greeted. Giving his usual soft expression.

"Morning Kotori! But you know Kazuki, the beeach, it's summer, it has to be the beach!",

"Ugh, come on, you're being a child", Megumi proceeded to pout, but before she could say anything both Ryan and Sato had arrived too. Rui waved good morning to them as they made their way to the platform.

"We still have a little over half an hour for our train, but I figured making the meeting time now would give everyone time to make it", he stated. It seemed reasonable, considering the type of people they had in their motley crew, especially also because this was summer break, some might like to sleep in.
