@Gowi@Ozerath Hee, I actually am not a serious MMO player, and rarely any sort of PvP or competition player...so my entire exposure to that sort of lingo comes from my friends and people in conversation. Thus my perception of that sort of person is...not the normal one. It didn't even register to me that was atypical. ^.^;; Then again, I do know kek is from 4chan, and...well. 4chan does imply a great many things, in multiple ways.

I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

First off, apologies for the random intrusion, and I don't intend to be staying long. I don't even remember how I ended up here, but the long lists of characters intrigue me. While I'm not joining (obviously) I have been thinking about this since I found the thread before work this morning, and since I can't get the thought out of my head I need to ask. Are these characters in one rp, or characters in your toolkit? *interested wiggling* Either way, quite impressive.
When it comes to books, it might be a little easier since you only need yourself, and since you can play the ENTIRE WORLD. Also charts are useful. Don't think I've ever used that many people of significance for a book, but the last time I actually finished a novel was...um. Several years ago.

And since we're still waiting on final approval for Ozzy before we can start, and then for a first post...*shrug* I can pester only so much before it's counterproductive, y'know? *sheepish grin* I promise, we've not jumped ship!

@WiseDragonGirl Well, let me point out that just because the char is strong/a good fighter doesn't mean they'll do well. I would imagine that the challenge should be passable for most characters, so long as they don't compromise it by their very natures. The question is...can we the players do so?

Speaking from the standpoint of one who is thinking like a team player here, I'm gonna suggest that any and all bios include something at the end whereby the character is ripped from their original world and thrust quite abruptly into that of the contest. This allows for the greatest possible consistency as a starting point. As we move forward, we might perhaps select characters that match so as to manipulate the setting in a direction we like.

@Terminal Eh. Doesn't hurt me any, so I don't particularly mind. Just pointing out the inconsistency. *shrug* I'm the sort of person that will argue against a call made in my favor if I don't agree with it. My classmates in gym class back in the day /loved/ me. *sarcasm*
