N A M E Madeline Anne Lashton.
N I C K N A M E Madeline doesn't really associate with nicknames unless you're calling her Lady Maddie. She likes for people to call her by her title with her name behind it only. Though, she doesn't mind certain nicknames from her darling Lord Renault.

A P P E A R A N C E She has natural straightened raven colored hair falls on her back, reaching almost close to the middle of her back. She has chestnut brown colored eyes that always have a curious look within them. Madeline stands about five foot six with a weight of one hundred and thirteen pounds that compliments her petite frame really well. She has milky white evenly toned skin has she doesn't have any wrinkles or blemishes. She adorns her body with dresses and gowns of the Lashton House colors that covered up every inch of her body but sometimes, she will wear very slim, silky dresses that shows off her arms. She'll cover up her arms every now and then but most gowns that she has, they are seen.
P E R S O N A L I T Y Madeline is a very motherly person especially towards the Lashton children, no matter if they love or hate her. She sometimes shows that she will always be there for them, no matter what but she is always there for her darling Renault and Madeline makes sure that he knows that. Madeline can be quite sassy at times but overall, she is quite nice and caring towards others. While she is still growing up, her mind is always curious about certain aspects within her own life and others. Madeline is always questioning things that she is curious about and always demands an immediate answer from whoever she asked the question to. Even though she is now a Lady of Ash Falls, she still likes to flirt with other men but that's only a factor she uses to get information and to get her newfound family ahead within the realm. She doesn't flirt with just anybody though because she does not want to upset Lord Renault. Madeline is also an adventurous lady, too as she does love to travel from kingdom to kingdom, sometimes and whenever she has the time to do so. Her travels also has to do with her curious mindset, as well.
B A C K G R O U N D Madeline was born to Lord Heath and Lady Antoinette of House Hardin on the hottest of Summers within The Reach. While her father truly wanted a boy, he did not let her gender stop him from helping to raise her up as a lady of their house. But as a young female, she was very adventurous, always scurrying off with friends to other kingdoms and such. Madeline rarely got in trouble for her travels because she always came back safe and unharmed though it was her mother that made sure she wouldn't leave without them knowing ever again. So, from that moment on, her mother was always around her and carefully watched her every move. While she still ventured off, Madeline's distance was close enough so that her parents would not worry too much about her.
But it was whenever Madeline entered her teenage years that she became quite rebellious towards her parents, which her father could not stand for anymore and wanted to punish her but her mother, Lady Antoinette had a better idea. Lady Antoinette took Madeline to the gardens nearby and had a small talk with her about certain things, even mentioned that she was to birth another child and perhaps a boy. Madeline understood and fell back underneath her mother's wings and started to be poised as a lady, once again. She became quite manner-able though still had her sassy remarks, here and there but it was whenever her brother was born that her life changed again.
Her mother died from amount of blood that she lost during the birth and grief stricken, Madeline stayed in her room and did not talk to anybody for a couple of days. Not even her father could get her to talk or come out of her room. It wasn't until her mother's funeral that she decided to show her face once again and decided that it was time for her to travel around the realm once again but first, she did have to help raise her brother though. But now with her mother gone and a new baby boy in the family, all of the attention was taken off of her and focused onto her brother, Heath II.
Once he became old enough, their father placed a sword within his hand and started to train him in the art of sword fighting. Madeline was always there whenever they were training and always rooted for her younger brother to win. It wasn't until her coming of age celebration that her father tried to find a suitable suitor for her to be married off to. Madeline begged her father not to marry her off but she knew that it had to be done eventually. But she did not find anyone suitable enough for her and her father eventually gave up.
A few more years went by now and her brother grew up and became the next in line Lord of House Hardin. She had met a Lord by the name of Renault and became quite intrigued by the older gentleman as he shared certain stories with her that made her become fascinated with him. Madeline did not hesitate to take his hand in marriage when asked but their union did not sit well with her father or brother until they got to know Renault and became quite fond of him themselves. She was happy with him and even liked his children though does not know if they truly like her or not.
Madeline likes her new life very much and is trying her hardest to be the best wife and step mother to the Lashton children while also trying to protect the ones that she loves even her father, who has grown quite ill and her brother, who might be a Lord before he knows it. She is constantly writing to her brother just to get updates about their father and the status of his well being while also letting him know that she, too is doing good as a Lady of House Lashton. Or at least, she thinks that she is until told otherwise.
T H O U G H T S While Madeline likes to keep quiet on the current situation within the realm, she ultimately feels that another war is definitely brewing and cannot help but feel that her newfound family might be caught in the crossfire. But she will certainly do anything to protect them by any means necessary. She also feels that if Joffery isn't the rightful King to the throne than he should relinquish the throne and give it to the rightful King - But that is something that she keeps to herself, for now.
