Archie was a bit hurt from the slash attack, as this was a evolved Pokemon and did a bit of hefty damage, but that never exactly stopped the puppy Pokemon. The little orange furred critter was known to be quite a bit stubborn, similarly to Corphish. Drawing closer with deep growls, the dog like Pokemon barked aggressively toward the over-sized cat. Between the three Pokemon, they appeared to be wearing down the bigger Pokemon. The feline hissing through heavier breaths as its ruby eyes glared between the three, creme fur bristling as its claws raked the ground beneath it. As a heap of ember was spewed at the cat, the Persian's eyes narrowed, snorting angrily and gave a low 'mrrrreow' sound as if saying 'I won't forget this' before turning tail and running off.

Snorting in victory after giving a few barks after the Persian, Archie turned toward Tora, wagging her fluffy tail happily. Obviously looking for praise. Tora sighed in relief as she stepped closer and knelt down to stroke the top of the fluffy head of her Pokemon."Good job Archie. Thank you for the hard work. You too Corphish and Bounsweet. Couldn't have done it without you both." she praised with a thankful gentle smile.

Sirius on the other hand, was timidly swimming about, hoping Des would hurriedly cross the river before more Basculin came around. Although it could regenerate its limbs no problem, that didn't mean it didn't hurt when they get bitten off. Turning to see the little water bug attempt to free the little blue mouse, the starfish pointed one of its limbs and gentle bubbles shoot out in a attempt to lend its assistance.

I'm sorry I've been away. Work has been brutal... but awesome at the same time. I'm finally settling into my groove there, so I have more time to focus on this RP again.

Sadly though, I am not going to be able to read everyone's amazing entries in order to calculate points! At this point, it would take many many solid hours to do that. Instead, I would like everyone to HELP me calculate your points relatively easily. All you have to do is quote this next section, fill in the blanks, and post it as a reply:

Tora blinked a little as the woman lept into the water before looking towards Sirius. "If you are up to it Sirius, I'd be grateful if you could lend your assistance as well. Help them get across the water." the tall woman requested, watching the Staryu slowly turn toward her, then the river before looking like the starfish took a deep breath. Soon enough, the water type lept into the water and swam over to Des, drawing close so the woman could grab onto one of its limbs so it could guide her back across to shore.

The Persian hissed as the Magical leaves cut up its fur, the feline giving a angry hiss at the sweet smelling Pokemon. Screeching angrily, opening its jaws and baring its fangs threateningly before charging foreword, claws out ready to use fury swipes on the grass Pokemon. "Archie, Fire Fang!" Tora called. Archie barked then charged foreword, jaws open with fangs spewing fire, leaping at the feline and sinking the flamed fangs into the Persian's back. The feline yowled in pain as the teeth sunk into it and fire scorched its fur and flesh, rage flashing in its ruby eyes as it reared up on its hind legs, swinging its left paw around to slam it into the side of Archie's head with a Slash attack.

Giving a pained yelp as the Growlithe was knocked off and slammed into the ground, clawing at the ground as she was almost knocked into the river. The Persian hissed, opening its jaws that glowed brilliantly before breathing a streak of stars as it used the move swift. Archie growled as she stood up again at the edge, fur fluffed before opening her jaws and breathing a Ember attack in a attempt to counteract the swift attack. The moves clashed into brilliant flash, flames glowing and crackling against the stars.

@silver fox All right where'd you get the prices? I get that they increase and whatnot and since they're so high I don't really have a concern about them, but I'm just wondering. The prices increase kinda oddly, but sure.

I vagueeeely recall a post about the prices sometime before, but I don't have a direct reference to it--does anyone remember? If not, we don't have to figure it out now, but we can stick it on the to-do list :)

Just as a suggestion, though, it seems like Pokeball prices tend to double when they increase in value (ie Pokeball 5TP --> Great Ball 10TP), so perhaps the normal price of Ultra Balls should be 20TP and Masterballs... 40TP?

As a note Masterballs are currently /not/ OP because Balth suggested that legendaries be "temporary Pokemon" as there is only one of each, so there's that. A Masterball will allow ownership of legendaries for a few in-game days (months irl so you should be fine).

Also, Great Balls are 20 TP from Feyhollow and the mountain town standards. Haven't seen one at 10 TP. (Which is why doubling it in Adriana made it pricey)

Incorrect, they are the three legendary cats. I forget where it was that I read it, but that is how they're officially recognized is as the Cat trio. Unless there was a change in the last couple of years since I did my research into it just so I could refute my cousin's own official claims.

Well according to Bulbamedia they are referred as the Legendary Beasts. Can't really find either the cat trio or dog trio besides what people tend to just call them both that

Balth's first PM

The biggest decision that you will have to make is the size of your location. Actually, this is more like the size of the human settlement within your location (since a location is made up of the human settlement and the surrounding areas). The five location sizes are as follows:

Metropolis; Big City; Small City; Township; Village

Your choice of location size will directly effect two factors: The number of Pokemon types available in your location; The number of items available in your Poke Mart. This also affects how many mythical/legendary Pokemon that you can find as well as the number special items that are available at the Poke Mart. Read the breakdown below to grasp this concept:

Metropolis: Two Pokemon Types; 0 Mythical/Legendary Pokemon; 15 Regular Poke Mart Items; 3 Special Items
Big City: Four Pokemon Types; 0 Mythical/Legendary Pokemon; 12 Regular Poke Mart Items; 2 Special Items
Small City: Six Pokemon Types; 1 Mythical/Legendary Pokemon; 9 Regular Poke Mart Items; 1 Special Items
Township: Eight Pokemon Types; 2 Mythical/Legendary Pokemon; 6 Regular Poke Mart Items; 0 Special Items
Village: Ten Pokemon Types; 3 Mythical/Legendary Pokemon; 3 Regular Poke Mart Items; 0 Special Items

When choosing your Mythical/Legendary Pokemon for your location, they must obviously have their type(s) covered by the location's typing. Also, you may not have multiple Mythical/Legendary Pokemon that are originally part of a group together (e.g. Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza).

When "choosing" your special items, you are actually creating them with my help. I can make suggestions if you like, or you can bounce ideas off of me. We will do this until we come up with a special item that adds value to this RP and satisfies you as the item creator. Small Cities will have one "Skilled" special item. Big Cities will have one "Skilled" special item and one "Expert" special item. And as you may guess, Metropolises will have one "Skilled", one "Expert, and one "Master" special item.

I will work on a complete list of all the Regular Items for you to choose from as soon as I have the chance. Those will basically be adapted from the handheld games. You will be allowed to change which normal items your Poke Mart keeps in stock whenever, so long as you don't actually change the total number of different items.

that post was copy and pasted from when I was talking with LuckyBlackCat. So if it doesn't sound like I am personally talking to you, that's why. All the information you'll need is right there though.

Instead of "Location Type: Mountain Range" you would be choosing Location Size: (Township / Village). I can picture this place being home to a tiny village at the mountain's base.

And no, I'd rather not have a rank limitation on any locations.

@lugubrious I count 7 types and 8 items. Townships are marked to have 8 types and 6 items--are you replacing the missing type with two extra items? I think that's allowed, although when I tried making a location like that Balth suggested that I change it... What do you think? I'd totally be okay with it :)

@zarkun Haha Entei's a dog... I'm pretty sure, 'cuz they're the legendary trio of dogs, I think (Someone back me up 0_0). Other than that everything looks fine. Love the type variety! Looks good otherwise, I give it my stamp of approval :)

Haha does everyone like the system Balth devised? Any suggestions for edits? I can't think of any myself, but it's open for debate :)

Indeed, they are known as the three legendary dogs. (Although they look like a mix between dog and cat)
