Because of her unique hands, her mother kept her away from house chores, so her father taught her to participate in his hobbies, where her destructive, 'fat fingers' were less of an issue. Through this she was able to develop passable levels of manual dexterity, though she needs to resort to wearing special rubber gloves that provide her with some form of grip in order to deal with various everyday objects. But because of these closer interactions with her father, she picked up on many of his favorite forms of media, becoming a bit of a tomboy and a daddy's girl. She became enamored with hero shows, and because her parents treated her as their precious little princess, she had never considered how others would react to her appearance until she entered school.

In school, she didn't understand why kids avoided her or talked about her behind her back, or why teachers often turned a blind eye to kids who bullied her. Everything came to a head during a class in which all the students took turns standing in front of the class and read aloud their essay on what they wanted to be when they grew up. Hyouka announced loudly and proudly that she was going to be a hero, like the ones from TV shows and cartoons. The other students jeered, calling her Baltan-seijin, and that she would never be a hero. She ran home in tears and binge-watched her favorite shows, realizing the sheer number of clawed, arthropod-like aliens, and that to the rest of the world, she looked just like these monsters. To keep her engaged, her father started encouraging her to try various feats with her quirk, filming her, and posting videos online, resulting in playlists like the "Hydraulic Pinch Channel" and "Shrimp Tail Parkour", in which Hyouka pushes the limits on what she can crush with her claws and uses her massive tail to aid in ridiculous jumping feats. Online, things that were not socially acceptable found their niche, and behind the barrier of silicon, Hyouka was allowed to be herself, reviving her hope in one day pursuing her dream. But the family, who believed in peace between those with quirks and those without, felt that vigilantism was not only dangerous, but technically unlawful, and that the ideal hero worked in accordance with the law instead of outside of it. As Courier 6 pulled out the samples, Din was surprised he had any available, and in such good condition, or as good a condition as can be expected from being in a desert roamer's pocket. Unsure of the sizes of the full-grown versions of these plants, Din placed the samples about a meter apart from each other in a line. Upon casting the Spell of Spring upon the plant fragments, the effects were immediate. The xander root bristle burrowed into the soil and began sprouting, the broc flower petal reformed the entire flower, it's stem implanting into the ground to form the rest of the plant, the fungus dissolved into mycelium before sprouting its cap, the yucca banana peel reformed into a whole fruit as its stem, like the broc flower, planted itself in the ground to reform a miniature banana tree, and the cactus flower did likewise. Din continued to concentrate, allowing some of the larger plants to reach closer to their full size, but stopped to prevent them from encroaching on each others' space. Din examined these plants curiously, having never seen them before. "These are...medicinal?" she asked.

As pictured above, Ishaq is an older gentleman. With a bit more Greek and Semitic heritage than North African, he has lighter skin, made all the more paler due to his poor health. He is about 5'5" and is underweight, again, because of his health. Though he is capable of walking, he is often seen in a wheelchair, especially if he is recently recovering from use of his Noble Arm.

The Nation is Like One Body - Someone other than Ishaq can drink water from the cup, and become anointed. If the drinker dies, Ishaq vomits blood into the cup, and the drinker reappears next to Ishaq's side, physically restored to how they were the moment they drank from the cup. The amount of blood in the cup is proportional to the amount of blood that is drained from Ishaq's body, if the cup is 10% full, then 10% of Ishaq's blood is drained, even though the actual volumes differ greatly. Each resurrection drains 10% of Ishaq's blood. Ishaq becomes woozy if he's lost 20% of his blood, at 30% he is on the verge of losing consciousness, at 40% he's on death's door and going into shock. If he drops the cup and the contents spill, the effect ends and the drinker is no longer protected. Multiple people can drink from the cup, but the cost per resurrection is the same. Ishaq can be forced to continue to protect the drinker even after losing 40% of his blood if someone prevents the cup from spilling and ensures that the blood leaving his mouth enters the cup. Such a tactic may very well kill him.

Weather-worn and contemplative, Ishaq knows that he will never live to see what he desires most; an end to the world's conflict. Still he strives to be a peacemaker, and sees himself as a bit of an ambassador, a mediator. To this end, he has studied various religions and languages, as well as ethics and philosophy in general, in an attempt to navigate the storm of ancient, modern, and novel mindsets and identities. Bio:

A Palestinian born in the Holy City of Bethlehem, Ishaq was raised living under the Israeli Occupation. Shell-shocked from random acts of violence from one-side, followed by disproportionate retaliation and forced evictions from the other, Ishaq and his family were displaced frequently from one occupied territory to another. Yet through it all, Ishaq was able to gain access to books, and in some instances, internet, and strove, as his parents directed him, to learn. He took to the sciences naturally, having a particular love for biology, and hoped to one day become a doctor, the kind of doctor who could save the lives that he saw lost on such a frequent basis. He wanted to be neutral, to aid Palestinian and Israeli alike, and prove that peace was possible. Yet as the world continued to destabilize, and Ishaq's Noble Arm manifested, he was dragged into terrorism. At first, his ability was used to allow suicide bombers 'second chances', allowing them to return after carrying out their ignoble deeds. But then, he became too valuable, and was reserved for protecting the lives of the leadership.His life was a whirlwind of pain and violence, and through no action of his own, Israel and Palestine united against greater external threats. The world that he had known had changed, and he had had no part in helping it along. So when Arms masters from both sides collaborated and planned on their defense he threw himself into the fray, offering his services, and receiving resources and knowledge in return. He was truly tested when Armageddon came, and the sky fell. He likes to believe that he had been integral in saving the human race, offering his blood so that more powerful Arms Masters could continue to attempt to destroy the meteor, even if they had to die multiple times to do it. Now he has joined Operation: Symbiosis, offering his services once again to a small force of Arms Masters in the hopes of using his remaining days to push towards lasting peace in the region.
