Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Fanilly spurred her mare onward as she contemplated the situation. Tyaethe... Tyaethe was no-where to be found. The blonde girl was somewhat worried that the paladin had... gone ahead, so to speak. It was so like the immortal knight, wasn't it... Regardless of that fact, they had a duty to attend to. If Tyaethe was already there... they'd have to meet up with her. There were innocent lives at stake, and they had to work quickly to learn the details of the proposed plan and work together. And so, Fanilly lead her knights further down the road.

Ahead of them loomed what were at once familiar and unfamiliar sights. Fanilly was a daughter of nobility, and so it was hardly as if she'd never seen the flag of Ithillin before. The pierced griffon was based on a legend, as she recalled, of a griffon that had given its life to defend the royal family even after it was impaled with a greatlance. Ever since then, the pierced griffon had always been a symbol of Ithillin.

However, she was not familiar with the swan, and she had never laid eyes upon this fort before.

And that massive man, sat astride a monster of a horse... that man held some form of high position. Fanilly slowed her mare to an even trot as she came towards him.

"I am Fanilly Danbalion, Knight-Captain of the Iron Roses," she introduced herself, "I only wish we were meeting at a better time."
@ACHTUNG: Going to be honest, as much as I like Yozakura Quartet(Kotoha especially), both of those characters have abilities that are vastly too versatile and broad. Kotoha can summon anything she licks with just one word and in general can just describe anything she wants to get it summoned as I recall.

Lila's... even more out of bounds due to the breadth of things she can do instantly. ^^;
@Raptra: After getting a little help from some people who know the show better, accepted. ^^;
Well, I'd prefer if it was a description of their capabilities.
I'll reply in the next day or so.
@Raptra: I'd like an idea of how strong his weaponry is.
Misaka Mikoto

It was a sensation that Mikoto was by now used to. Clutching her friend's hand, hearing the sound of their motion as the scenery rapidly changed. She guessed it was probably jarring for the spontaneous knight, though. In any case, it hardly took them any time at all to arrive at their destination, and almost immediately Mikoto's nose was assaulted by the smell of sizzling meats and frying doughs. Indeed, she could feel her stomach growl. Was she really that hungry? Maybe all the sudden strangeness had somehow given her appetite... regardless, the Level Five Esper was hungry, and that was that/

After a moment's pause she took in her surroundings. The smells were coming from a stand, where a young girl in a kimono, an adult man, and a few others had gathered... one of which was a redheaded girl with a spear, who... had she just stolen that food, in broad daylight?

Narrowing her eyes, Mikoto stepped forward, electricity crackling around her head. She couldn't let that go... the redheaded girl with a spear glanced at her.

"Eh?"

Waiting on some other people in the food stand scene to post before I can update. ^^;

As in at least one other person there please. ^^;
@Raptra: I am.
Kino

As Reinhardt and Ana sprang to action, Kino's hand drifted to her holstered Persuader, specifically the cannon. However, the strange, dead yet alive man did not draw closer. No, he simply stood, and questioned what was happening. Many surprising things were happening in rapid succession, and Kino took a few moments to take in what she was seeing. The rifle that Amari had drawn was unlike any the dark-haired young traveler had ever seen before, a sleek blue weapon that did not appear to fire bullets, but instead some sort of... capsule? A tranquilizer of some sort? It was difficult to tell, though the other dart she had fired did not appear to have any effect on the dead man. Meanwhile, the hulking figure that was Reinhardt had produced some sort of strange shield of light, a solid wall that nevertheless was not made out of any material that should have been solid. It was, if not for the potentially dangers situation, something Kino would have been unable to stop herself from asking questions about.

However, this was a situation where they were potentially facing against some kind of threat. However, the dead man seemed strangely nonthreatening. He had simply placed his hand against Reinhardt's shield, and made no moves to attack in any way. Perhaps his appearance was due to injury, or some sort of illness? It seemed unlikely but at the same time one could never be certain of the possibilities of the world. Kino had traveled to many countries, and seen many things, but there was plenty that would still surprise her.

"Kino, it's a zoomba!" declared Hermes.

It took the dark-haired girl a moment to realize what the motorrad meant.

"That's 'zombie'. Hermes, and I'm not so sure."

"Ohhhh."
