Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Crusader Lord: Hmm... I'm still kind of thinking on this one. Sorry. ^^;

@Rockin Strings: Well, mostly right now I want some knights on the less magic side of things. Though if you do a magic knight I'd prefer some melee as well and a focus on one particular area of magic rather then a lot of it.
Aside from Assassin, all Servants are complete. Now we just need more Masters and Assassin!
List is updated once again!
@Drifting Pollen: Accepted.

@Raineh Daze: Accepted.
The troll under assault by the combined efforts of the enormous wolf and his mistress toppled backwards, its great head hitting the ground with a wet thump as dark red blood spewed onto the grass. Beheading a troll was hardly a common feat, to say the least, and some of the defenders on the town walls looked on in awe. This truly was the work of the Iron Rose Knights. The Order of Justice that destroyed the wicked and protected the innocent.

Indeed, now three of the trolls were dead(though one was possibly simply unconscious), and another had fallen, vulnerable to a lethal blow. The orcish forces were failing, but they did not yet seem ready to retreat. And still there stood six trolls on their feet. One troll swatted an unlucky knight to the ground, baring down on him. Even his armor wouldn't protect him from a direct blow, and he couldn't feel his left leg...!

Fanilly ducked under a swipe from the troll's clawed hand. It bellowed, perhaps in frustration. The blonde girl was well aware her weapons were not the best suited to killing a troll on her own. But she knew of weaker points across their bodies, places where their natural armor was thinner. Under the arms. The back of the legs. If she could hamstring the beast, too, its neck would be within striking distance! Another swipe nearly took her off her feet, but she jabbed its hand between two fingers. It snarled in pain, but soon was distracted when a hail of icy weapons struck it.

"Ah?! Sir Tiral?!"

The mage knight had come to her aid! The troll, along with the first of its kin that had been drawn by the arrows and magic bombarding the creatures, began to lumber away... though it was considerably slower, as if reluctant to leave its current foe. From this angle, however, Fanilly could strike its heel and bring it to the ground!

And yet...

Tiral would absolutely see it. And as a mage, he would have some inkling of what it was. There was what almost seemed like a spark of purple light from a distant treeline, and suddenly a rush of light and sound as something tore right towards the captain and the troll. Only ceasing his bombardment and trying to create some kind of barrier could possibly intervene...!
Updated the list with completed Servants!
@Crusader Lord: Accepted.

RP is now full. If there are any dropouts I'll notify the next in line immediately!
Mordred

Mordred gave Menomaru one last, long glare before tossing him to the ground. She didn't care what her temporary, substitute Master said. If that bastard brought up her Father again, she'd kill him. After everything else he'd done, or tried to do, bringing up her Father was just the icing on the cake. She didn't see how he deserved anything but death to be frank, but for now she'd control herself. For now. Besides... the local armed forces appeared to have shown up.

The blonde knight folded her arms, cocking her head to the side. Assurances of safety? Like they could do a damn thing. In fact, that was confirmed to her when the child vampire used what little magical power she had to disarm them in an instant. Her anger cooling a little, though her irritation at the intervention of these soldiers mounting, she stepped forward.

"Look, you're just plain outmatched," she began, unfolding her arms and shrugging, "You wanna guarantee our safety, huh? There's not a damn thing you could do. What kind of morons are you to think you could handle that?"

Mordred gave the soldiers a rather sharp grin.

"You should just take it easy and let us take care of it. Go back home and be proud of the fact you met a true knight, that's the only job you can handle now!"

Vita

As Vita was closing in, preparing to crush the man with her hammer... suddenly there were boulders. Immense stones blocking her way, all around her. For only a moment, her momentum ceased. Where had they come from!? Who had stopped her!? Quaking, and with an angry shout, she raised her hammer and brought it down once. Then twice. She wouldn't just let these rocks get in the way! She'd pound that guy into the dirt until there was nothing left!

The only thing that would eventually distract her somewhat, even as the rock in front of her started to crumble, was the arrival of the JSDF.

"This is official TSAB business!" she snapped, finally brought out of her anger, if only for a moment. At least, enough for her desire to kill the man to fade. Just a bit.

Konpaku Youmu

One of the metal things, a car if Youmu recalled correctly, suddenly came careening towards her. There were people inside. A little girl in the back seat opposite to her

She had to stop. She couldn't just allow those people to die. Raising Roukanken, she shifted the blade so that the flat pointed towards the vehicle and braced it in both hands.

Seconds later, the car slammed into her, the side of the vehicle slamming into the youkai-forged blade. The impact jolted Youmu's small frame, sending the short half-phantom skidding back across the street with a yelp as pain shot up both arms. But Roukanken held fast, and eventually both the girl and the car came to a halt, the vehicle rocking gently as it did.

She had dented the side of the car, but otherwise everyone inside looked fine, albeit certainly frightened and confused.

Also, list is updated to feature who is claiming what. ^^;
@KoL: Provided that numbers are equal and stay equal I'm willing to allow it.

Edit: Actually, on second thought, um, since the reboot is in part to make things more streamlined I'd prefer not to do that. Sorry. ^^; Spots dried up fast.
