So one thing I'm curious about in the Batman posts is Alfred's last name. Is Pennywise like a codename, or did you guys change it from Pennyworth to Pennywise? Because every time I read it I think of the killer clown from It.
Yeah, it's a codename. The irony of it only struck me after I settled on it, but I like it, so I'm stickin' with it.
Is the guy in the shadows with the smile Joker? Because said figure has called Batman 'Bruce' twice now and Joker infamously doesn't give a shit about the man behind the cowl.

Years ago, Velma Dinkley was part of a group of young mystery solvers known as Mystery Inc. Led by handsome and popular Fred Jones, the gang of four teenagers solved local mysteries in and around the town of Coolsville. Norville "Shaggy" Jones' dog, Scooby Doo served as the mascot of the young sleuths. Two weeks before graduation, Mystery Inc. was disbanded by mutual consent of all parties. After high school, the gang drifted apart. Velma went to college and majored in criminal justice. She graduated and become a sheriff's deputy in Cool County. She got married, had two kids, and got divorced and servers as an investigator for the Sheriff's Department's CID unit. But, suddenly, an act of violence has called Velma back to an old crime scene and the members of Mystery Inc. back together for the first time in years.
N O T E S:
I'm doing a more down to earth version of Scooby Doo, if that's possible. Scooby isn't a talking dog is sort of the big change.

C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T:
I plan on essentially telling a super-powered horror story, taking cues from the original film, the new Shin Gojira, the Marc Cerasini novels (which ruled, by the way), and the IDW comics to create a threat that players are really going to have to scratch their heads to counter. While I do plan on some midnight-movie kaiju-romps, this is first and foremost a living disaster-scene.
N O T E S:
Currently, Godzilla is the only kaiju on record, and his appearance was an anomaly. After rampaging through Tokyo in 1954, he was destroyed as in the original movie, and he is believed to have been killed outright. While the Gojira 'incident' is the only confirmed encounter with such a creature, it does not mean that he is the only one in existence.
T I M E L I N E:
Apprx. 65M BC: The Cretaceous Period is brought to an end by the K-T Mass Extinction Event, caused by a massive asteroid impact. Most of the dominant life forms on Earth, the myriad species of dinosaurs, are driven into extinction by the cataclysmic disaster and the resulting climate change.
In the South Pacific Ocean, a small group of uncategorized amphibious theropods escapes extinction by taking refuge underwater. Evolving into massive creatures capable of immensely long periods of hibernation, these dinosaurs dwell on the ocean floor for eons, waking on occasion to feed and reproduce, but over time their population dwindles.
1943 AD: American soldiers, attempting to root out entrenched Japanese positions on the small island of Lagos, report encountering a "prehistoric devil" that devoured the landing Marines. Withdrawing the infantry, US Forces bombard the island from sea and air before moving on, believing the mysterious creature killed.
1952: The United States tests its first hydrogen bomb at Bikini Atoll, not far from the mystery island of Lagos.
1953: Reports begin to grow of fishing and merchant boats going missing in the Sea of Japan. When a recovered sailor dies of radiation poisoning, the United States and Soviet Union are quick to accuse each other of conducting illegal nuclear tests. The native population of Odo Island, who had recovered the deceased sailor, instead blame an ancient and malevolent deity named Gojira.
1954: The beast from Lagos Island-- now hideously mutated by the radiation from Bikini Atoll and grown to impossible size-- makes landfall on Odo Island. The islanders are quick to believe the mutant to be their mythical Gojira, and flee as the creature tramples the island settlement, leaving the area highly irradiated in his wake.
Weeks later, the creature makes landfall again, this time in Tokyo. The Japanese military is powerless to stop the monster-- whom, due to a mistranslation by Western press, is dubbed 'Godzilla.' Evacuation efforts are panicked and sloppy, and as a result, civilian casualties are worse than Hiroshima or Nagasaki. By the time the Justice Society of America arrives in an attempt to drive Godzilla away, the death toll is in the hundreds of thousands.
In the wake of Godzilla's attack, a new super-weapon is devised to kill the creature: a 'micro-oxygen' device created by Dr. Ishiro Serizawa. Having never intended for the device to be used as a weapon, Serizawa agrees to help create the 'Oxygen Destroyer' in order to help stop the monster, but only on the condition that he be the one to detonate the device. In order to prevent other Destroyer devices being created, Serizawa allows himself to be killed by the blast.

C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T
This is my first time being in this kind of genre on this site, but I feel good enough that I can survive it. I picked Catwoman because I love her to death and I always wanted to change Catwoman around a bit. I also wanted to bring back Red Claw for the animated series and make her more of a threat to Catwoman than ever before.
This version's Catwoman had a tough life, like the original Catwoman. However, her parents would die because of drugs and alcohol. The detention center, combined with the abuse back home, made her life more tougher to live in. It wasn't until she found the carnival that life began to treat her good, but good things don't last long. She was forced to live on the streets working with Stan the Pimp. She made several friends, but she knew that she couldn't let the abuse keep on happening. So she fought back and killed him. Normally, Selina would of been fine with it. However, my version was fine with it at first.
Years after thinking of the possibilities (thanks to the Batman's influence), she would come to regret killing Stan. Batman's influence and their 'relationship' would impact her for her remaining life. She knew about this and left him behind, trying to turn back into the 'old' Catwoman. It never went away. However, she would be challenged by Red Claw after not finishing a job for the Claw. It took years for Catwoman to hide; despite her best efforts, Gotham suffers a terrible earthquake and Selina races back home. Now that Red Claw most likely knows that Catwoman will be in Gotham, it's only a matter of time before she's gets attack.
Normally, she would ask Batman's help; however, she can't bring herself to go to him with every problem. So, she tries to capture Red Claw on her own. Both Catwoman's and Selina Kyle's morals and ethics will be conflicted during this plotline.

𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟱 ⇝ Selina Kyle was born.
𝟭𝟵𝟳𝟳 ⇝ Her mother, Maria Kyle, killed herself by overdosing on cocaine to get away from her abusive husband. Afterwards, her father—Brian Kyle—drank himself to death and she was sent to Sprang Hall Juvenile Detention Center.
𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟴 ⇝ Selina had enough of abuse for the detention center and ran away, heading far away from the place. She eventually found herself a carnival and tried her luck pickpocketing the crowd. Soon enough, she was caught by the owner and offered a place in the carnival than juvenile hall. She accepted.
𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬 ⇝ During Kyle's time at the carnival, she learned the art of contortionism, gymnastics, magic and trickery. She also improved her pickpocketing skills on new crowds while performing. The original owner died later in the year and replaced by a younger owner. Kyle decided to live life on the streets becoming a prostitute in the East End of Gotham. A few months later, she met with an underage girl named Holly Robinson while working for their abusive pimp Stan. After taking a couple beatings, she decided to go to the local boxing gym to teach herself some fighting skills. That was when she met Julián Magrina, a boxer, and he taught her some new fighting moves.
𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟭 ⇝ It wasn't until the cold month of March that she finally got the guts to defend herself against Stan. Luck was at herself for the first few hits, but she eventually lost and toss outside. Feeling ashamed of herself, she took a long walk around East End thinking about her future. That was when she heard some shouting and gunshots coming from a construction site nearby. Curious about the noise, she went further to investigate and encountered a figure that used the shadows to attack. One by one, the thugs were taken into the darkness while yelling for help. She kept behind the trash cans for a few minutes until the police arrived.
With her catsuit that Stan got her, she lied to him about being stabbed in the leg outside an alleyway. He soon left his place and arrived at Kyle's location, realizing that no-one was there. Selina Kyle pounced on him and started scratching his face up. After five minutes of clawing at his face, she realized that he had lost too much blood. She was overjoyed at the fact that her abuser was dead, but wished that he lived long enough to suffer like she had. With her catsuit covered in blood, she went back home to tell Holly of the news. Holly didn't know what to do with the news, the majority of her life was spent on the streets. Selina hooked her up with Julián Magrina to help her start a new life while she stayed at East End, starting a new chapter in her life.
𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟰 ⇝ After that night, Selina quickly brought a new, upgradeable cat suit and became a thief. For three years, she was fine with being a 'horrible person' since it paid for the weapons and her home—The Tin Roof Club. That was changed when she met the Batman for the first time since that faithful night. Some won't believe her when she says that Batman fell onto the club's fire escape, which happened to be near her home. After fighting Deadshot, Batman was shot in the chest and fell towards the fire escape. Selina was shocked to discover that the Batman had been landed near her home and discovered the wound. She brought him into her home and fixed him up, spent the whole night with him before going to sleep. The stitches weren't done by any doctor, but she did her best with the supplies that she had.
When morning came, she was the first up and discovered that the Batman was still in her bed. Being nosy, she took off the mask to discover that Bruce Wayne was the Batman. It made sense to Selina on how he was able to afford all of his gadgets. She planned on putting the mask back on him, but he woke too early. He was rightfully upset at her and left to stop Deadshot, stating that he would deal with her 'later.' As soon as he left, she was knew that this Deadshot person was going to get Batman. She got dressed as Catwoman and tried to pin down his location in a twelve hour search all over Gotham. It was all hopeless until she heard gunshots and found Batman and Deadshot. That was how she helped Batman fought off Deadshot.
After the fight, Batman knew that Catwoman was Selina right away and called her out about earlier. Using her looks and charm, she managed to calm him down a bit before they kissed. That was how their 'relationship' started.
𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟳 ⇝ Catwoman decided to end her 'relationship' with Batman and move out of Gotham to travel all over the world as a way of getting over Bruce. She handed over the club to Magrina and left Gotham, but not before saying goodbye to Batman. After her leave, she did what she told her and traveled all over doing jobs for people. She stole for heroes and villains, fought some of them, teamed up with a few of them, and helped out a couple individuals. During her time away from Gotham, she met Red Claw. At first, it was just a simple job that the Red Claw needed. Steal something off of a train headed for Berlin. Something then happened aboard the train that made Red Claw angry enough to put out a bounty.
𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟭 ⇝ After years spent on the run, Selina heard about the earthquake in Gotham and returned home. East End suffered deaths and destruction that were brought by the earthquake and it's aftermath. Catwoman discovered that the Tin Roof Club had been destroyed and killed several people, including Julián Magrina. Feeling terrible for her friend's death, she decided to stay in Gotham and rebuild the club. However, she always kept an eye out for Red Claw or anyone that took her offer.
𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟮 ⇝ When she heard the problems that Batman faced while she was gone, Catwoman wanted to meet him. She stopped by Wayne Manor to check up on Bruce and the rest of the family. As she entered, Alfred welcomed her and walked her towards the hidden pathway. However, he stopped and explained the entire situation from the earthquakes to the Joker. He's worried about how guilt that Bruce developed since meeting with the freak. It cost him Dick as he got tired of Bruce being more strict. Alfred was feeling terrible for not addressing it sooner, but he's grateful for her arrival and suggests that she could talk to him about getting help. She agrees and heads for the Batcave to see her friend again.
Catwoman greeted the Batman and talked for a bit about the situation with Gotham since she left before talking about the Joker. When she mentioned Joker, Bruce got upset with her and demanded to stop talking about him. Selina refused and tried to make him see reason. In order to do that, she had to admit that she regretted killing Stan and it changed her life. She suggested to him about getting help before it's too late, using herself as an example of not getting help. 'If you don't address your guilt, you could end up like me.' she said to him. It wasn't clear whether or not he agreed, but things ended rather positivity between them. Selina told Alfred that it's up to him to make sure that he gets the help and asks for him to update her as soon as possible. Then she left.

C O N C E P T A B S T R A C T:
I want to explore Raphael in a universe with other heroes present in it and how he deals with the secretive nature of his clan when there are other mutants in the public eye.
◼ 2000 | Four turtles hatch from a clutch of eggs and are put on sale in a pet store in downtown Manhattan.
◼ 2001 | The four turtles are bought by Stock Gen and subjected to various experiments concerning genetic regeneration.
The turtles are named Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael by an intern at Stock Gen.
◼ 2002 | Foot clan ninjas led by Shredder attempt to steal samples of mutagen from Stock Gen, but in their hastiness grab the four turtles as well. During their escape with the mutagen and the turtles, Splinter attacks Shredder and causes him to drop the mutagen and the turtles, where they are washed into the sewers and exposed to the mutagen but are separated from Splinter.
Coming to completely mutated, the turtles have no memory of being simple turtles in Stock Gen or of how they ended up in the sewers.
The turtles begin wandering the sewers out of confusion and eventually wind up on the surface where they are shunned by the few people they approach.
Splinter comes to and begins searching for the turtles, retaining his memories of Stock Gen and knowledge of the ninja arts.
◼ 2003 | The turtles slowly begin to remember small things from their past, including their names.
Splinter continues his search for the turtles, who have taken to wandering the streets at night in search of food while staying hidden during the day.
Raphael gets frustrated with hiding away and scrounging for food and sneaks off by himself. On his own, he comes across a group of other animals that were mutated by the same mutagen.
Raphael goes back to his brothers and tells them about the other mutant animals like them and follow him back to where he saw them at. Upon their return, the turtles are greeted by the leader of this group, a mutated raccoon named Apec. The turtles decide to stay among others of their kind.
◼ 2004 | After staying with the group of mutants for about a year, the turtles are approached by Apec and asked to go on a run with a few others from the group. The run turns out to be robbing people in alleyways. Leo confronts Apec about the robbery, but Apec replies by explaining that the group only steals what it needs to survive. Leo realizes this how they’ve been getting food and other supplies and decides to leave, Mikey and Donny going with him. Raphael decides to stay with the group.
Splinter finds the three turtles shortly after they leave Apec and his gang behind and go back to their life of hiding during the day and scavenging at night. Splinter tells the turtles about their life in Stock Gen, the night they were mutated and about how he’s been searching for them since. The turtles then explain to Splinter how they’ve been living the past year and about Raphael joining Apec’s gang of mutants.
Splinter goes to confront Raphael by himself, leaving the other turtles in their makeshift home in the sewers. Raphael refuses to leave the gang even after hearing about his origin from Splinter.
Returning without Raphael, Splinter begins training the other three in the art of ninjutsu so they may defend themselves.
◼ 2005 | Raphael continues running the gang of mutant animals led by Apec, doing simple robbery jobs to feed themselves. He notices the jobs are becoming more frequent and the amount stolen growing with every job but stays quiet.
◼ 2006 | Raphael meets Casey Jones while on a run with other gang members. Casey Jones takes down the gang of mutants and returns their stolen goods to the police station.
Raphael starts sneaking off from the gang to follow Casey at night until he is discovered by Casey. The two become quick friends, despite Casey not agreeing with Raph and his gang stealing from others even if it is to feed themselves.
On a botched job, one of the other gang members, one of Apec’s more trusted lieutenants, pulled a gun on a human. Upon their return, Raphael confronted Apec about the firearm, but Apec threatened to throw him out if he didn’t comply or worse if he made trouble for the rest of them. Thinking the gang was all he had in terms of family and acceptance, Raphael remained quiet, but began sneak out more often to meet with Casey and help people.
◼ 2007 | Splinter and the other turtles stop Apec’s gang during a job and confront Raphael again about leaving the gang behind. Apec gives Raphael a gun and makes him choose between the turtles and the gang. Raphael chooses the turtles, tossing the gun down, and helps his brothers fight the gang off.
Raphael returns home with Splinter and his brothers to being his own training in the ninja arts.
◼ 2008 | Raphael introduces Casey Jones to his brothers and Splinter. Casey becomes a trusted ally to the turtles.
◼ 2009 | Raphael catches onto his combat training quickly and soon catches up with his brothers but still finds it difficult to control his temper.
◼ 2010 | The turtles begin surfacing at night to help those in need of help but remain hidden for their own safety, sometimes accompanied by Casey Jones.
The turtles meet April O’Neil during one of their nightly adventures and become fast friends with her once they realize she was the intern who named them at Stock Gen.
◼ 2011 | The turtles have their first run in with the Foot Clan when they attempt to break into a lab on a nearby college campus that is researching the regrowth of limbs and begin their war with the clan of ninjas led by Shredder.
◼ 2012 | The turtles are ambushed by Apec and his gang. Raphael is shot during the fight by Apec but survives with minor damage.
◼ 2013 | Raphael is grievously wounded in battle with Shredder, forcing the turtles to retreat and find a new home somewhere the Foot Clan cannot find them.
◼ 2014 | Raphael begins fighting alongside his brothers again after taking the time to heal from his battle with Shredder.
◼ 2015 | The turtles meet Arsenal, who winds up in the sewers while on a bender. Arsenal teams up with the turtles to fight the Foot Clan for a brief period of time.
◼ 2016 | The turtles track the Foot Clan to Gotham, where they meet Batman and later team up with the Dark Knight to drive the Foot Clan and League of Assassins out of Gotham.
◼ 2017 | Raphael begins sneaking out to act as a vigilante separate from his brothers and their usual activities, inspired to do so by recent meetings with heroes and the emergence of more and more mutants on the surface. He is occasionally accompanied by his best friend, Casey Jones.
