Jasmine Lockwood and Rajah

@MarshiestMallow
Everything that...she had done?

The words made Jasmine pause and think for a moment. What exactly had she accomplished? She couldn't think of anything noteworthy. The only useful thing she had accomplished in her life from memory was the mission they had just finished. And even, she didn't really contribute too much there. Though, when her mind changed course on what she had gone through...well, things were a little clearer after the last few days on that front.

From her oldest memory, she had been losing everything dear to her. Her family, her friends....herself in many a sense. She had endured experiments that went above and beyond 'inhumane'. Looking back, it was a miracle that she was alive, to be honest. Let alone the experiments, but she had been attacked by a dark wizard, morphed into a sword by some weird creatures, caught up in numerous fights between wizards and that was all that just happened recently over the last couple months.

However, despite the losses she had endured...here she stood. Alive and well, for the most part anyway. Was this a result of strength? Or simply..."Lucky....I'm not strong, just lucky." With a mumble, she had been reduced to sniffling. She didn't really believe one could survive like she had purely on luck, but there was no other way to explain it from her view. She was aware that hers must surely be running out by now, seeing how much she had used.

"Family? We're...family?" Echoing the words back softly, she could feel the tears welling up again. There was mixed feelings here. Regret, helpless, sadness, grief as she thought about her parents. This all mixed with happiness, joy at the revalation that Penny saw her as such.

Right, everyone in the guild was her 'family' now. Penny viewed everyone as such, as did Jasmine. They mighn't get along all the time, but they were always there for one another. And their family needed them now, yet here she was wasting time with her unneccessary crying. Clenching her fists tightly, she took a deep breath to calm herself. Actually, a few deep breaths. She could cry about these things later. As Ryujin now told her, "There's no point dwelling on things out of your control. Only think about what you can control."

With Jasmine pulling herself together, Ryujin stayed quiet for the most part. He could've talked to her but decided against it. It was best she found a way to drag herself out of her own self pity, besides Penny seemed to be better at it than possibly ever could be so best to leave her to it. So instead, he continued his conversation with Penny. ]"It is worth a try though, no? If it is too risky, I remember a certain...individual from Jasmine's memories. He might be able to aid in such endeavours."

His words made Jasmine peek out from Penny's shirt and glance down at the pendant. What did he mean? She couldn't think of anyone who could help them. Though, at that same moment the image of a man flashed in her mind. Oh. Oh.

"His...personality leaves much to be desired, but his skills are 'the real thing'. A powerful practioner of wind magic if memory serves me correct." Ryujin wasn't really really sure if Penny knew him, but the man he spoke of had been in the guild hall not that long ago. When Jasmine had reawakened her magic, to be precise. And if flying was their method of travel, then if they could convince him to help then their trip would not only be easier and faster but also safer and less draining. However...

"That is, if we can convince him. I'm afraid his 'services' won't come cheap. But, that's where that...pest can actually be useful."

While Rajah didn't realise she was being ignored, she was certainly quite happy at this moment in time. After all, Iggy was giving her more food. So long as she had food, she seemed a lot more...quiet. Not that the food lasted anywhere near long enough.
"I shall Sir Ignatius. But when are we heading towards this damned Island? I thought time was of the essence."

Ashlyn Johnson

Blargh. Spoil sports. Bunch a sticks in the mud, the lot of them. She had half a mind to just set fire to the forest and draw out whatever was lurking within to come fight them. But, seeing as she was meant 'to be on her best behaviour' she even had to hold her tongue at Zero/Zeroam's words. She really wanted to give pretty boy here a piece of her mind, but it would have to wait till later.

"Whatever pretty boy, the overgrown newt can try. All it'll do is spread the flame." She had to settle for such a retort for now. Last thing she needed was for Indigo or Sanders to catch wind of her picking a fight with the other guilds. Gah, light guilds were such a pain to handle. She could fight this pipsqueak after this was all done and dusted, though on second thoughts he might have to be added to the waitlist. She wanted to fight quite a few individuals, some of which were here actually. Some however, weren't much to her disappointment. For such an important, world ending event...Phoenix Wing hadn't felt the need to send all their S-classes? Whatever, not like that many from Frenzy Plant were participating anyways.

"Well, sticking together is nice and all. Safety in numbers and all that shit. But that shadey bastard is right, we could be fighting an entire army and wouldn't know till we were right on top of em. Doesn't bother me all that much, just means more goons to torch." Crossing her arms over her chest, she looked up towards the sky rather thoughtfully. Thinking ahead wasn't her forte, she was more heat of the moment, improv type. She listened to Amaya's suggestion without moving her gaze from the sky. Mix with the other guilds? Hah, that'll be the day.

Then again, it had some merit.

"I say we just send a vanguard of sorts ahead. A mix of slayers, S-Classes and whatever. If they get in trouble, like shadey here said they can just let off a signal and the calvary can come charging on through and back them up if needed. Once they know where the bastards are, they report back and we bring down the hammer on the muggins. Just make sure the group has capable fighters." With a shrug, Ash made her suggestion. It honestly wasn't all that different from anything suggested thus far. But if they just made one small elite group, then they could move relatively easy and keep most out of harms way. They did need at least a rough idea what they were up against after all, and they wouldn't learn without needing to take a few risks. If need be, she would do this task by herself.
"Of course anyone in that vanguard group would also have a few screws loose, but honestly I haven't met a wizard yet who didn't. Then again, it mighn't be all that safer staying in the big, walking target that the rest of us would represent so eh. So long as I get to knock a few skulls in, I'm happy."

Joshua listened to everyone and everything going on around him. He honestly didn't care what they did or how they went about it so long as they all came back home safe and sound in the end. If they got injured, it was on par with the course of their job, considering being a mage was a dangerous occupation due to all the combat and hunting jobs it entailed. Still, as long as he could keep an eye on Amaya and keep her safe, that was all that really mattered to him in the end.

Glancing up at said woman as she spoke and brought up her idea on how the various guild's could go about their search of the island. He for one agreed with it but felt the need to bring something up that she seemed to have forgotten.
"Don't forget, we have slayers here that aren't dragon slayers. So keep that in mind as well." He said, his tone calm and measured. "The only thing we need to take into account is each others strengths and weaknesses. Considering most of us really don't know each other all that well, could prove to be difficult. But either way, I would say Amaya's plan is a good one and the best way for us all to remain safe."

Amelia Averyonna

@MarshiestMallow

"I don't know. I want to go to the island and be with everyone, since that seems like the best way to stay safe. But the island has it's own dangers, I know this. SO it might be best for me to remain here. I have Phleg and the others to help watch over me, so it's not like I'll be truly alone. I just want to be with the both of you, where I might be the safest anyway." Amelia said.

Elena and Perry

On a mission.

"Elena, are you sure this is going to work?" Perry asked, once more a prisoner in his own body.
"Relax, I know what I'm doing, sex appeal sells, and I've got plenty of it. Plust, a costume never hurt when serving alchohol to chumps." She replied, hoisting a large rock one handed over her head.
"It's a delivery mission though."
"Nah, you'll see. It'll all work out." She scoffed, waving him off.
The pair approached the establishment, a large grin on Elena's face as she quickly burst in.
"Good afternoon sir!" she happily called from the door. She was dressed in a tiger print two piece dress, a pair of paws on her arms and cat ears on her head.
"I am here Meow to make sure your ale, grog, beer, and in general alcohol gets to it's patrons! But if you have anya doubt that this pretty kitty's strength for carrying your barrels," she flexed, her muscles expanding rapidly as she crushed the rock into dust, the dress' enchantment and her feline take over magic making the feat near effortless. "how do nya like meow?"
She then posed seductively, blowing a kiss.
Perry could only groan at how embarrassing this must've looked to, well anyone that wasn't attracted to the red head.

Micheal

Use to Prince and his antics, especially the continual touching, Michael was nevertheless surprised that Prince didn't react to the roar. Michael himself flinched away from it, somewhat closer towards Prince and glanced around. His hand went to his keys, but he didn't pull them out just yet. "i... uh... y-yes... an ad-adventure." he said, not seeming at all confident. What was he doing here? "What are we meant to do?"

Sasha

Sasha looked to Amaya, listening as she spoke. She shook her head, "No... its a good idea, however I do not think the dragons will be spread apart and then we run into the same problem, one group may run into all the dragons and then be in a difficult situation." Maybe she wasn't suited to be the leader of this expedition, if they were already questioning what she thought was best. But she knew that she had to consider all the options, and it wasn't an easy choice. She had to know, she had to a hundred percent sure, that she was making the right choice.

She had to make the right choice for everyone. For the future. For her child. Closing her eyes, Sasha was on the verge of agreeing, when a voice broke through the air. "Oh, there are no armies here, just the dragons."

She opened her eyes, looking around her and was surprised to see the same figure that had been watching them, however briefly, from before. Marvis. She watched the group with a smile on her features, "And, of course, you." Her gaze roamed over those gathered, falling onto Ferrin. The smile seemed to fade a moment, becoming thoughtful as she watched him.

Jarvis

"I'd rather you were close, too." Jarvis said, although he would have prefered that she remained away from the danger altogether, but he knew he couldn't protect her forever. No matter how much he wanted to, Amelia was growing up- she could defend herself. It didn't mean he would stop trying to protect her... he was not going to lose either Amelia or Sam.

Penny

Penny sighed softly, it seemed that no matter what she said to Jasmine, the girl seemed to try and find a way to deny the simple truth of Penny's words. "You are stronger then you think, Jasmine." She said softly, reaching out to run her figners gently through Jasmine's hair, pulling it away from her face. She brushed away the streaks the tears had left on her face and any lingering tear drops.

"Yes, we are." Penny said softly, "I don't... my family isn't that big, Jasmine. Just four people. You, Sasha, Ariel and Damien." She said, sighing. And Ariel wasn't speaking with her. Ariel had a right to dispise her, Penny knew. "And I know that you are strong, I know that you are brave, and I know you can do this. Trust me, beieve me." She tried to encourage Jasmine, to do her best. She'd have to find some way of bringing up the girls confidence...

"That might be, Ryujin... but we will take the lacrima. We need to get there as quickly as possible... even if it is a risk."

"Of course we are... we just have to wait until they're ready, Rajah." Ignatius said, almost hesitantly, sure that his words would set Rajah off.

Damian Gerard|Solving the Disappearances

Two days after finally seeing the culprit for himself, Damian was sitting at a cafe, eating a slice of pie while trying to figure out the best way to catch the dirty rat. They’d tried a dozen different tricks, ranging from magic nullifying lacrima to simply attempting to get him inside something airtight. But no matter what, it hadn’t worked, almost as if he’d been made of actual…Ah hell… An image of the shadow mage Shutler flashed through the Blade’s mind and he shook his head. No, the man had been more than sure he was the only thing like that here on Earthland and now Damian wasn’t even sure that he was still on Earthland after the events that lead to several members of their guild going to Edolas.

Still...he sat lost in thought for several minutes, mulling over the best way to attempt to deal with the problem at hand, before the sounds of approaching boots brought him out of it, his pie having been eaten as he thought. Turning to face the source, he found himself facing one of the Wind Mages in the ranks of this contingent of Rune Knights. They’d been keeping an eye on the kidnapper’s movements when he’d come into town and now had a pretty feel for when he manipulated the air and moved into town. She seemed to have run the whole way to find Damian, so he figured it was important.

“He’s moved into town, south side, doing everything he could to call attention to himself.” Damian frowned as they walked, heading to the south side of town alongside the Guardswoman.

“He make any demands? Women be brought to him or he starts destroying things type demands?” The guard shook her head.

“No, not when I had been sent to inform you of the situation. Who knows what he’s done since then.”

Damian nodded and slowed as the south side of town came into view, along with a giant pillar of wind that resembled a tornado. Whistling, Damian looks towards the top, squinting to try and spot the mage responsible. ”Well, he certainly knows how to be theatrical about it.” The guardswoman doesn’t reply, instead opting to draw her bow and remain alert as she looks around, eyes sharp for danger.

The pair moved forwards, Damian continuing to try and spot any one atop the tornado, as would be befitting of a villian, and the guard watching for the usual rabble, who had grown bolder in the face of the kidnappings. It was several minutes, the rest of the guardsmen in view, when Damian spun, his Hermes Blades manifesting, and shoved the guardswoman aside to parry a blade of wind, wielded by none other than the wind mage himself. ”Impressive reflexes, ‘Blade’. I thought for sure I’d have her.” Damian pushed the mage back and spun the pair of weapons in his hand, a hard glint lighting up his eyes as his magic flairs to life around him in the form of his magic circle, the normal orange blinking to green.

”And I thought you had some form of honor since you hadn’t harmed the women you’d taken.” Faster than a normal person, let alone most mages, could follow, Damian closed with the wind mage his right hand blade lancing out in an overhead strike that the man barely managed to deflect. ”My mistake.”

Ferrin sighed. This wasn't going to end anytime soon. It seemed like everyone wanted to chime in, even after he gave his advice. Sasha seemed fairly adamant on her stance though. Good girl.

Ferrin quickly grew board with the squabbling and his mind wandered. His eyes glazed over and he suddenly felt...apathetic. Who cares anymore? The decision was made and, though he disagreed, it was done.

He briefly considered a nice fireball in the face of the most annoying of the lot, the red-head. Then he remembered her magic and changed that idea into a massive, spiky glacier. He yawned, nice and loud, flipping Time Lord a metal bird with his Gauntlet for his half-assed shady bastard comment. Gonna insult someone make it proper-like. He grumbled, scowling fiercely. Something felt wrong, but he couldn't place it. He glanced around. Trees. Cliffs. Beach. Water. Some kinda of Gorilla octopus. Sand. Wizards. Idiots. Idiot Wizards. Nothing was out of the ordinary. What was ordinary anyway? Ordinary was...a temporary state. Ordinary means something has been that way long enough for no one to care. And foreign wizards on Terou wasn't ordinary.

Then it clicked. "Coffee." He hadn't had his morning nirvana-in-a-cup yet. No wonder he was getting existential. And grumpy.

Ferrin walked away from the still-arguing group to the tree line. He rummaged around and quickly came up with a fair amount of fire-worthy wood along with some flattish stones. Arms laden, he walked back, stopping a pace away from the group, and laid out the wood and rocks. A quick fire cantrip and he had a cheery fire going. A second cantrip made the fire slightly hotter then normal. One requip later and he was holing a small pot and a stained mug. A quick incantation filled the pot with water, which he hung over the fire with a frame of sticks. He knelt, placed the mug aside, and pulled a brown bag full of beans and a measuring cup from a pocket and a grinder from another. He hummed to himself as he measured out the beans then poured them in the grinder. He set the grinder on a 'course' setting, then cranked the handle. Once he was satisfied, this too, he set aside on a flat rock. The water started to boil so he took it off and set it on a rock. He hit it with a very gentle cold spell, to juuuust the right temp. He pulled out a thermometer and stuck it in: 93.3 degrees Celsius, on the dot. yesss

He grabbed the coffee grounds and tossed them in the pot. He stirred gently with a spoon from his endless-seeming pockets. Then he waited, counting the seconds, ignoring anyone and anything else.

...
...
...

Two minute later, he unfroze and stirred again. Then he restarted his count. The savory smell of coffee was wafting into the air by now. A presence not far from the group, but hidden in the shadows of rocks and trees came closer, drawn by the smell. They didn't seem to be trying to hide; anyone who was paying attention might notice it.

...
...
...

Two more minutes later, he conjured just a cupful of cold water and dashed it in the pot. He waited a painful moment more. Then he picked up old, stained, chipped mug and poured the rich, brown liquid. He gave it a courtesy blow and took a sip. Ouch. Too hot.

"And, of course, you." A familiar voice said.

"Oh. Hey Mavis." Ferrin said without turning around. "I just made a pot of coffee. Want a cup?" He held up and waggled his mug in demonstration. He brought it back down and tried another sip with similar results.

Then he stiffed. Stood. And turned around. He eyed the innocently smiling cherub of a girl.

The cup slipped in his grasp but he managed not to drop it.

He blinked. She smiled.

He brought the cup to his lips and took a long sip, staring at her with an unamused glare over the rim.

He took another long sip. She smiled more.

He took a third sip.

Then he stalked over and poked her in the head. *

His metal finger passed through her without meeting any resistance. "Hey!"

"Huh." Ferrin peered down at her. He inhaled as if to say something, then stopped. "Small as ever, I see. Whenever are you gonna grow, eh Shortstack?" He put his hand on her head, or where it appeared to be.

She pouted and huffed. "Not everyone is as freakishly tall as you, Maggie." She said, drawing out the 'a' and chopping the word.

You could practically hear the vein pop on Ferrin's temple. His right eye started twitching. "Don't call me that." He said though gritted teeth. He also took another sip of coffee. Long-dead guildmaster or not, he had coffee and no one could keep him from it.

Mavis smirked impiously. "Why not? Maaaag-ie."

"Pipsqeak!"

"Beanstalk!"

"Hobbit!"

"Giant!"

Ferrin crossed his arms, careful of his mug. "If it were to rain, you would be the last to know."

"And if there was lightning, you'd be the first to know." She countered.

"Touché."

"Thank you."

"Flea!"

"Ostrich!"

"Stunted midget!"

"Overgrown Troll!"

And on it went, their insults gradually getting at once more creative and even lamer. Ferrin still took sips of his coffee, spaced between insults. They would probably be at this for a while, unless someone interrupted them.

As most of the wizards there could only see and hear half the conversation, Ferrin looked like he had suddenly gone completely bonkers and was now yelling insults at empty air. Which, while unusual, wasn't completely out of character. While all eyes were on Ferrin, the pot of coffee sat, unwatched. Some bushes nearby rustled gently, not in time with the wind.

James Hunt|A Test of Honor

James remained tense, watching and waiting. When Cody asked his question, the Paladin spared his student a glance. "Entirely possible, since we don't exactly know where their base of operations is in here." A moment later a pair of men, one younger than the other, and both looked like they'd been travelling for awhile, after announcing they were unarmed. The call of parlay by the young man was somewhat confusing, but his companion corrected him, so he saw no need to add to it. Once the pair was away from the bush, James spoke, his blade and shield unmoving.

"Awfully well armored for being unarmed." The older of the pair went on to explain they were simply traveling and didn't want trouble. James narrowed his eyes, but didn't attack, his instincts telling him they weren't with the gangs. "Very well then. First retrieve your weapons and then we can discuss which direction is safe for you to travel in. There are dark wizards in these woods and we're here on guild business."

Hunter Jorgenson|Island Paradigm

Hunter grimaced at the distinct dismissal of the information by Long Coat Guy, but appreciated Zero coming to help him better explain it. Of course, after a cursory sniff of the air, he realized that the different hints of scent he was getting was different types of dragons. Which caused him to blanch as he realized the implications. Of course, before he could say anything, several others put their two cents in.

The red head got under his skin and he rounded on her, but before he could open his mouth to really light her up, his magic beginning to coalesce around his fist, when Long Coat Guy starts talking to thin air, stopping the Jade Dragon Slayer in his tracks."So...was it a good idea to invite the nutjob?"

Edarn/Karn

Tenrou Island

@CitrusArms @Burthstone

At the tackle, Karn let out a yelp while Edarn took control, quickly catching the ground with her hands to avoid falling flat on her face. Glancing to Trinity, Edarn simply stood up, brushing herself off. "It's fine, hes..... very excited... Keeps moving around like this he's going to cause his friend to fall off." the blonde said, digging around in her bag to take out some rope. Reaching around to strap Mithera against her back. Least this way, she could use her hands if needed.

Of course at that moment, Karn took over once again and gave a loud cheer. "Trinny but dragons! Come on lets go say hi and explore and lots and lots!" Karn chirped cheerfully, his eyes briefly changing as Edarn took over.

"Wait-" Edarn started before Karn took over and transformed into his Eastern Chimera form.

"Exploration and friendship!" he cheered before the large lion like beast bounded, climbing up some rocks with ease. Perhaps not considering running off on his own was perhaps not the best decision and that fact alone was making his Edolan self facepalm.

Prince

Tenrou Island

@MarshiestMallow

Prince chuckled, patting the top of Michael's head at the more nervous male's stutters. Feline ears flicking while his tail swished side to side thoughtfully. "Oh I'm sure to find out some things, maybe some information, maybe some treasure. All the fun stuff." he mused, smiling with his usual cheerful and casual self. Undisturbed by the happenings around them.

Trinity Stratos
Tenrou Island

"Well, I guess it's good he's lively. Right?" She lowered her hand back to her side, having seen it refused. More importantly, Karn was lively, and it actually seemed like he was overpowering her. This run-in with dragons is gonna be good for him, isn't it. Heh, maybe.

But there wasn't any time to think about that. Or the planning the guild was trying to do, right over there. Because Karn was too excited to contain himself and already running off.

"Karn!" She saw him transforming and flung herself onto him, grabbing tight and making sure Mithera was secure. She didn't have much time, she turned and shouted to the others, "okay we're leaving byyyyyyyeeeeeee" as they disappeared into the trees.

More like 'heeeeeeeeeeeeelp'.

As Karn ran his way into the thick jungle surrounding the inner island, she started to crawl toward his face so she could speak to him easily. She made a small shield to protect herself from branches, making careful note not to break it.

"Karn, we should come with the others! Wouldn't it be rather rude to our friends to simply run ahead?" She had to try and reason with him, or something. She'd rather not spend her energy stopping a friend by force.

Or trying to, anyway. Jimmy Cricket, Karn...

Tenrou Island

@MarshiestMallow@Crimson Raven@Hatakekuro@t2wave@Burthstone@Demon Shinobi@LightningMaiden@Joshua Tamashii@Oblivion666@Lunarlord34

Mayt had stayed out of most of the conversation as to what would make a good plan. That wasn't his forté and there were plenty of smart wizards in the group. Instead he focused on taking in the surrounding area and trying to figure out what he could about the island from where they were. That was definitely a dragon roar, so there is at least one. Possibly more given how the others are talking. What are the capabilities of a dragon? He wondered, musing. What does it take to hurt one? Is my magic powerful enough to manipulate theirs? If I overexert myself in my enhancements, could I actually lay a painful blow on one? Or does it have to be slayer magic? These were probably all questions he should've asked before they reached the island, he realized now, but were good none the less. Mayt walked around the group over to Zero, careful not to walk through any conversations.

"Hey, uh..." Crap what was his name again? Clearing his throat, Mayt spoke again. "Hey, are you and the other dragonslayer the only ones that can actually hurt dragons? Or is it just it's much easier for you two?" Hearing Trinity call out at the group as Karn tried to scale the cliff, his hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword. "And we should probably try to catch them before they get themselves hurt. Though Ferrin is a bit concerning too."

Tenrou Island

@Silver Fox@CitrusArms

Mithera had woken up before Karn had reached the beach, but she had just continued resting against her friend and trying to go back to sleep. She didn't perk up and start trying to figure out what was going on until the dragon roar. Part of her shared Karn's immediate excitement, but the other part of her was afraid, remembering how powerful Hemlock was. She has just raised her hand to touch the necklace the poison dragon had given her to reassure herself when Trinity tackled Karn and nearly knocked her off his back. Oof she grunted when she hit the ground, trapped between the two forms. When Trinity got up initially, Mithera was clearing her head and preparing to do the same, when Karn began strapping her to his back.

"Actually, I think that-" she began, before Karn transformed into his chimera form and took off. She yelped at each bound, trying to pull herself as close as she could to Karn's back, gripping his fur for dear life. "K-Karn! Wait! You don't know where you're going you're going to get all three of us lost and hurt! You don't know if these dragons are friendly!" She tried to pull his mane towards the rest of the group, which she had spotted to their side. "A-at least let me get my bearings!"

Everyone was trying to figure out what to do about the fact that there was a dragon, or maybe even multiple, on the island. Ariel had only ever heard rumor about how strong they were. Even people she knew that had met dragons hadn't really spoken much about them to her. Now-a-days they were merely myth. But Ariel didn't need anyone to explain to her the magic. She could feel it thick in the air even if she couldn't identify or pinpoint the source.

Yeah, with so much magical noise Ariel really was hard pressed to pay attention. She watched everyone else somewhat blankly before watching Karn take off for some reason. The woman would have followed but taking a few steps was dizzying. Man, really hadn't had enough time to get used to this weird magic. What use was it again? So far it only seems to be a nuisance. Focusing for a few moments she managed to get the world to stop spinning. "Well whatever we end up doing, I hope we don't have to be here any longer than we have to. I'm definitely leaving with a headache."

"Then how about us three slayers do what our magic is best at...slaying the dragons. Our magic is the only thing that can harm them as it is what we learned from them. By doing this, we can distract them while the rest of the groups find the source of this disturbance of our world. Or atleast let me or one of the other slayers track. Our senses are the most heigtened plus we been good at hiding. I have Cecilia so I have a air advantage." replied Amaya hoping to be of some help to everyone.

"She has a point, She is incredibly light so I can fly quicker while holding her while flying so it shouldn't be too bad. Plus no one will really pay much mind to a single girl compared to a group." Commented Cecilia scratching her left ear before she climbed on to Amaya's back. She castes aera as her wings grew lifting them off the ground a bit " A simple trip around the island from above should take...maybe a hour by air given the size" calculated Cecilia by pure guess " If we arn't back by then then send Joshua. He has a creepy ability of keeping track of us." added Cecilia.

"How hars is it to track a white haired girl with ice cold skin that is confused too much of the time" muttered Amaya to herself folding her arms watching the group and fenir attacking like a nutcase

Sasha was a patient person. But even she seemed to be growing a little agitated at the continued arguing. She had told them what they were going to do, and she was going to stick with it. She was going to make sure everyone came back alive. Closing her eyes a moment, she let out a slow breath. “No.” She said sternly to Amaya and Cecilia. “If you can’t follow my orders, then you shouldn’t be here. I don’t want anyone going off- Patrick, maybe go get Karn- alone. It’s not just me being bossy, I want everyone to return home safely. If you go off alone and in the air, we can’t help you easily. You will stay with us.”

She turned away, looking towards Ferrin. She was unsurprised to see that Patrick had disappeared while she was speaking. She watched Ferrin and Mavis for a moment, before she broke into giggles. She could well imagine what everyone else saw, Ferrin speaking to himself, calling the thin air names. “He’s not crazy- well no more than usual. He’s speaking with Mavis, she can generally only be seen by those of Fairy tail descent.” She explained, mirth in her voice.

She raised her voice, “Ferrin? Mavis? You’re concerning the others.”

Michael looked up at Prince. He had long since got use to Prince’s height-it was rare that someone would make him feel small, but somehow Prince did. And despite the fact he knew that Prince could look after himself, Michael couldn’t help but feel a need to protect him. Prince wasn’t really that impulsive, but he also didn’t seem to be aware of the dangers around them.

“Yes... the fun stuff. But there’s the fighting too.” He pointed out, for a brief few seconds his stutter seemed to disappear, only to return as he continued to speak, “I d-dont’t even know w-w-why I’m h-here,,, “

Patrick nodded as Sasha addressed him, and with a small burst of energy, he seemed to be the only thing moving as he froze time for a few seconds. He took ever second of that to hastily catch up to the rambunctious Karn. Quite calmly, he stopped in front of him.

Time resumed.

“Halt.” He rose a hand up, prepared to stop Karn should it be needed.

Penny gathered what they would need, but choice to travel light. She paid to have their things taken to the guild hall, and once she was satisfied, she took out a Lacrima from the pack that held what little she was taking. It glowed with a light gray smoke, the power within it making the small glass ball seem pleasantly warm.

“Okay everyone, gather round.” She said, looking to the two exceeds. What she was meant to do with them, she didn’t know. They seemed to just assume that they were coming and that was that. She knew some slayers had exceeds, but she had never heard of a Phoenix Slayer having one. She could understand Jasmine having one...

Sighing softly, she decided to face that problem later, and allow the exceed to come with them. Although she would be adamant that they would not get close to the fighting, who knew what they would do?

“Let’s go.”

As soon as everyone was gathered around, Penny made sure to keep ahold of Jasmine, not wanting to be parted should something happen. Her hold was secure but gently, and when she was satisfied she activated the Lacrima, hoping that this would work.

Immediately the ocean air assaulted her senses and she knew something was wrong. “Jasmine!” Keeping her hold on the younger girl, Penny let her flames envelope her, catching them both just before they could crash into the water. She shot into the air, glancing about them.

“Rajah!” Ignatius shouted as he hovered in the air, searching for the small exceed.

Elena and Perry

Whoops.

The tavern owner stared at the woman who had just come into his establishment and crushed a boulder into oblivion.
"W-what's wrong?" Elena asked confused as to why the man wasn't doing more than staring in apparent horror.
"Now that I think of it, didn't the job say that it was in Onibus town?"
"Crap. I think you're right," she whispered to Perry, "I'm in the wrong tavern aren't I?"
The owner slowly nodded his head.
"Eheheh." Elena said as she slowly backed out of the tavern, brushing the dirt out while doing so.

The two sat on the train to Onibus Town. Elena drawing attention from some of the other passengers.
"Can you at least requip into something less revealing?" Perry asked her nervously.
"No. There might be some patrons riding on this train."
"I just hope this gets done soon.
"Aw, come on. We can stay and have some fun. I bet those big shots in the guild are off on some adventure or something, they won't have time for you for a while. They could be stopping some ancient evil about to destroy the world... or maybe they're just on a boat somewhere."
"What makes you say that?"
"When you've lived as long as I have, you start to hear stories about guilds."
The brakes of the train screeched as it pulled into the station, slowing until stopped.
"Oh good,we're here." Perry said happy to finally be off of the train.
"Alright, let me just get a rock, and we can show off to this tavern owner." she said with excitement in her voice.
Perry sighed heavily as his transformed body ran giddily off the train. He wanted to fight against the woman controlling it, to tell her that what she was doing wasn't going to help on a delivery mission, but he knew it was futile.

"Alright, I think this is the place." Elena said as she looked the tavern over.
"I sure hope so. I think we've wasted enough time as it is." Perry said.
Elena slicked her hair once more, hoisted the large rock she had found over her head, and charged in.
"Good afternoon sir!" she happily called from the door, striking a sexy pose as best she could while still heaving the massive rock.
"You memorized that speech from earlier?!" Perry exclaimed inside Elena's head.
"Shush." she said to Perry, while keeping the pose as best she could.
"Introduce yourself!" Perry called, "Do you know how awkward think this must be for them!?
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am Elena, a mage that saw your job posting and ever so wanted to help you. Nya!" she called happily, still making cat like poses.

Jasmine Lockwood and Rajah

@MarshiestMallow
Now that it was finally time to go the island, Jasmine was understabley nervous. Could she actually do anything? Or would she just get in the way? Sure she was a Dragon Slayer, but she had no idea what to expect from a real, living breathing dragon. But she also knew that everyone on the island was putting themselves at risk, willing to fight dragons even if their magic would be ineffective. So with hers actually being effective, she couldn't just run away and hide now.

Now that Penny pulled out the lacrima, it occured to Jasmine that she had been given one as well. When she had joined the guild, albiet before they learned of her magic, she was given a couple of lacrima from Jarvis. To protect her if nothing else.

Though this was her first time actually seeing one of them used. The excitement of watching it in action dulled the butterflies she felt, even if just for a brief moment or two. Even after all this, her love for magic hadn't abided and seeing it in action was one of the best things to perk the girl right up. It also made her briefly wonder what her own magic would look like in use. She couldn't really recall much, though she had a feeling that was more related to Ryujin trying to slowly reintroduce her body to magic again.

Feeling Penny's arm wrap around her shoulder, Jasmine reached up and squeezed the older girl's hand. Jasmine was a wreck internally, between the nervousness, fear, excitement and other emotions running amoke she wasn't sure which one she felt more.

She wasn't sure when the lacrima had activated. She must've blinked, for one moment they were gathered round in Magnolia and the next they were being assaulted by the strangely familiar sensation of salty sea air. Blinking a few more times as she tried to regain her bearings, it took a moment to realise they were plummeting straight towards the ocean. Something had gone horribly wrong.

Squeezing her eyes shut tightly as she waited for the inevitable contact with the water, instead she was greeting with the familiar warm of Penny's flames as they shot back up into the sky. Gripping onto red head tightly and screaming all the while of course.

Rajah on the other hand was nowhere to be seen, nor did she appear at Iggy's calling of her. Where had the little rascal gone?

Well that question was soon answered as she shot out of the water, a fish flopping around in her mouth while she held two more in each hand. She seemed to open her mouth to say something, but all that came out was muffled gibberish that no one had a hope in the world of understanding.

Ashlyn Johnson

Ash shrugged. It was she could honestly, this Sasha girl seemed to have made up her mind so that was that then. Didn't mean she would follow her orders of course. God no. But why waste time arguing over such a pointless detail that she knew she wouldn't listen to anyway? Instead her attention was drawn to Hunter as he approached her. It didn't take a genius to work out what he had in mind, between his facial language, the jade starting to form on his fist and just the way he approached. The poor little slayer was mad.

But this was fine. If he wanted to start, then Ash was more than happy to comply. And if he threw the first punch, even better! Then she could argue her case later that she was just defending herself. But like Hunter, and most people around them, her attention was again shifted to something else. In this case, Ferrin seeming to have an argument with....the air next to him.

Whelp. It was offical, there was literally no difference in sanity between light and dark guild wizards. Hell, it seemed that light guild wizards seemed to be less predictable and more insane than dark guild wizards. Well, most of them anyway.

"Well, you don't seem much better." the pyromancer scoffed, shaking her head. What had she signed up for here?

Even with Sasha's brief explanation, Ash looked on dubiously. That sounded way too convenient, and she wasn't really the type to believe people just because they say something. At least all her time with Shadow Heart taugher her something useful. "If you say so."

Cody Bloodstein

Not knowing much about the situation was indeed troublesome. But if whomever was hiding there did indeed work for the gangs, then it could be a chance to get some much needed information. Cody was glad when they threw their weapons down without much of a hassle. Good, the less fighting there was the better.

"Par...lay?" Cody blinked blankly a couple times as the duo came out of hiding, the younger one shouting out some nonsense before being quickly corrected by the older man. Upon closer inspection actually, the younger one looked to be more around Cody's age. What were these two doing here?

It wasn't till James spoke that Cody lowered his weapon. It seemed like they weren't with the gangs then, at least that's what it seemed for now. He knew he couldn't let his guard down, but he certainly relaxed it.
With James briefly explaining their purpose for being here also, Cody didn't really see any reason to add to it and instead sheathed his sword.

Penny had expected to not arrive on the island. She had known that that wouldn’t be possible, that they would be dumped just about anywhere near the island. She had hoped they would land on the ship the others were taking, but evidently not. Keeping a secure hold on Jasmine, Penny ignored her screaming for the moment. The girl would settle down soon, she knew.

Looking around for both Exceeds, not even sure why she was worried about them except that they were her responsibility right then. Ignatius was frantically searching for the lost Rajah and Penny wondered if the small exceed had gotten lost in the transition.

She was just wondering if she’d have to go back and search for the annoying little creature when Rajah shot out the water, evidently trying to carry and eat as much fish as she could. Giving a soft sigh as Ignatius shot towards the small Exceed, he took one of the fish and cast Rajah a look as if to dare her to say something about it. He put it away for later, most likely a snack for Rajah.

Looking about them, Penny could see the island nearby- a short flight away. It looked to her as if they had simply been dumped on the very edge of the islands protection. She saw no sign of the ship the others had taken, and a fear gripped her. Had something happened to them along the way?

Only one way to find out.

”Lets go.” she called to the Exceeds, before starting towards the island. She held her breath a moment, but it seemed nothing had happened to them. The others must be on the island, then. Perhaps they had arrived on a different side. It did not take her long to reach the island and she landed, making sure that she didn’t jostle Jasmine.

She listened intently, still keeping a hold of Jasmine.

Jasmine Lockwood and Rajah

Penny was right in her assumption, the younger girl's screaming ending almost as quickly as it started. Once she realised she was no longer falling, nor rapidly ascending, she allowed her eyes to slowly pry open. She was immediately greeted by the sight of Rajah, arms and mouth filled with fish and dripping with water. It didn't take a genius to work out what the little exceed had done in the short time they had been here, and honestly was it even a surprise?

Rajah opened her mouth to say something when Iggy took one of her fish, but in doing so dropped one of the fish she was trying to eat. She was quick to shut it again and grab it before it fell too far, instead choosing to narrow her eyes at the older exceed. He had better not be planning to eat that later himself, she caught that fair and square! Upon Penny's words, she swallowed the fish she had been devouring and wiped her mouth. "Hmph." Letting out a discontent snort, she soon followed after the red-head. Even Rajah knew there was no point in arguing and fighting right now.

Jasmine kept quiet as they approached the Island, seeming to try and shrink back as the stench of the tainted ethernano in the air hit her nostrils. It was so thick and disgusting, surrounding them entirely almost and making the dragon slayer sick to her stomach. Just what could be causing such a vile miasma around the island? Upon touching down on the island, if it wasn't for Penny's tight grip on her Jasmine might've collapsed from the weakness she felt begin to build up.

Then came a sudden tensing up of the girl as she sniffed the air around the duo, her face slowly growing more confused. What was this scent? It was familiar, yet she couldn't think of a single time she had smelt something like this. It was so hard to describe, and at first, it was difficult to pick up amongst the sickening corrupted magic that hung in the air. But now the more she looked hard for this slight scent, the more she noticed it. And, instinctively, seemed to be dreading it.

"It seems like those little furballs were telling the truth..."] Ryujin's voice almost made Jasmine jump out of her skin, visibly jolting both herself and Penny. "I had hoped that the exceed's were mistaken, but there's no doubting it. We're dealing with-"]

"-Dragons." Jasmine finished for the ancient soul, her voice coming out in a soft mumble as the colour slowly drained further from her face. This was what she had come here to help deal with, but now the very realy real prospect of having to fight one was starting to hit home.

Ferrin Astra

Tenrou Team - Catching up with an old (imaginary) friend

@MarshiestMallow

“Ferrin? Mavis? You’re concerning the others.”

Ferrin stopped, mouth open for another retort. A slow dawning of sheepish realization crossed his face as he looked around at the various reactions of the other wizards: some concerned, some disinterested, and some amused.

Mavis broke into giggles. His mouth shut with a click, exasperation and embarrassment dueling for control of his expression. The two made a truce and compromised. Then he sighed. There goes any semblance of sanity I had in their eyes. Along with some of my dignity too. I am in this deep, might as well go all in. He thought.

"Excuse me," He drawled, drawing himself up and putting an arm around the small guildmaster's insubstantial shoulders. "I'm going to have a private word with my imaginary friend."

He shepherded Mavis, who was playing along and still shaking with mirth, several long paces away until they were out of normal earshot. Then, Ferrin cast a sound-dampening spell, that would obsure their conversation from even the keen ears of a dragon slayer.

Mavis watched him work with an amused expression. "Always so careful. "Always so secretive. You haven't changed a bit."

Ferrin turned back to her and gave a half roll of his shoulder in a lazy shrug. "By my reckoning it's only been five months since I last saw you."

He sobered as the extent of what he said sank in. "Gods...has it really been so short a time? Just five months ago I took that job. Five months ago, I walked out of the Fairy Tail guildhall. Five months since I last--" His voice broke. "...Last saw my wife and unborn child." He closed his eyes, grief welling up anew.

"Five months...and nearly four hundred years."

Mavis's expression fell at her friend's pain. "Oh, Magus. I'm so sorry."

His sorrow threatened to overwhelm him, but Ferrin took in a slow breath and let it out again. He composed himself and opened his eyes. "That is why I'm here. I'm looking for a way back. I'll make it back, so why be sad about it now?" He forced a smile, trying to believe his own words. "Meeting you here is fortunate, I've never met anyone with your talent for magic, and there is a man here, goes by the rather pretentious name 'Time Lord', he uses Temporal Magic the likes of which I have never seen. Between you, me and him...well we will probably end up mastering Time itself." He forced some jocularity into his last words. He continued on, feeling a bit like a kid again, confiding to his parents what he wants to be when he grows up. "Anyway, that is for a later conversation. We have more pressing matters at hand. This may not be my Time, but I still care about those here. I'll still leave my mark here, just you wait. Afterward," He held up a finger and pointed at Mavis. "You and me are going to have a long talk."

Mavis smiled gently. "I look forward to it." She murmured.

Ferrin narrowed his yellow eyes at her, noting the faint evasive tone. But he let it pass uncontested. He shook his head.

"It's good to see you, Magus." She said, suddenly.

He blinked at the sudden shift, then realized just how long it had been for her. He smiled warmly. "It's good to see you too, Guildmaster." Magus replied.

They shared a warm moment. A moment between two close friends, Teacher and Student, Guildmaster and Wizard, and comrades-in-arms, who suddenly found themselves reunited after a long, difficult time.

And then it was over. "Shall we rejoin the others?" Ferrin asked.

"Yes, lets. Poor Sasha looks a bit impatient."

The walked a few paces before Ferrin abruptly stopped. "Mavis?"

"Hm?"

"Do not tell anyone I am a member of Fairy Tail. It...just does not feel right. Please?"

It was Mavis' turn to be surprised at the sudden change. "'Please'?" She asked incredulously.

Ferrin scowled at her.

"All right. I won't mention it."

Ferrin nodded his thanks and resumed walking.

When he rejoined the others, Ferrin looked almost like a new man. His smile was sharper, he stood straighter, as if a great burden had been lifted. His face, which had seemingly aged with stress lines, looked young again.

He stopped just short and gave a flourishing bow. "Sorry for the wait, Ladies and Gentlemen, your Leading Man has returned." He proclaimed in a grand voice.

Behind him, Mavis rolled her eyes. He was back to his old self, it seemed.

Relieved that Jasmine didn't seem hurt, and that she wasn't hysterically at least at the moment. The danger, even the possibility of it, was simply too much around them to have to worry about calming Jasmine. "Shhh. It's okay, Jaz. Concentrate on me, okay? That's all you can do." Penny shifted her grip, and it took her a few moments to bring forth the healing song, knowing that the young slayer was probably being assaulted by everything around them. "I've got you, Jaz."

As Jasmine tensed, Penny glanced about them, and when she jumped so hard, Penny had to secure her grip on the girl. "Yes. Dragons." Penny said softly, "Don't worry. I'll be with you. Ever step of the way, Jasmine." She said, as she began to walk. They couldn't stay where they were, like sitting ducks. "come on, stay close." She told all of them, glancing to the exceeds, pleased to see that both were following her orders.

In moments though, she found herself crouching around Jasmine as the ground shook, and a roar shattered the silence in the air. It was incredibly close, and Penny cursed, shifting so she had her back to Jasmine, glancing every which way. Almost at once, Ignatius was by her side, looking around behind them. The Exceed had a determined look on his features, his wings beating smoothly as he searched. "Rajah, don't go running off." He said, his done indicating he would not tolerate her disappearing on him.

Another roar broke the air, and a shadow fell over them, and a large figure appeared. The black dragon didn't seem to notice them. For how long, she wasn't too sure. As the sun glinted off the dragon's scaled body, she saw that it wasn't truly black, but a dark slate grey. Its scales seemed hard as iron, and Penny knew she didn't want to go up against it. Not alone.

"Run, Jasmine." Penny said softly, as the ground shook again and she could see trees moving, shaking and falling. There was clearly more than one Dragon on the island awake. Magic swam around them, and Penny could imagine that it was thick... shaking her head, she kept her gaze on the dragon, ready to take to the air. "Ignatius, see if you can find the others. Take Rajah. Look for a large group, a ship. Jasmine." Not waiting to see if the Exceeds listened to her, Penny turned, grabbing Jasmine's arm once more and starting to run, pushing the girl ahead of her.

Elsewhere, she could hear fainter roars, and all she could think of was getting to the others. Safety in numbers, but also she was determined to make sure that Sasha was okay.

The red dragon, glittering like a gem, towered over Patrick, and those he was trying to stop. As the shadow fell over him, Patrick turned as if he was merely looking at a sculpture. A clap like thunder echoed around them, and the Dragon froze in midstep. "I can't hold him long, get back." He said calmly, the dragon frozen in time in front of him.

"Don't freak out!" Sasha shouted, her voice clear and loud, gripping her ice staff, "No one run off!" The appearance of the dragon was more than a little terrifying, But Sasha was not going to let that show. Gathering her strength, she stepped forward, looking around at everyone else.

Amaya watched the sky focusing on all her senses as her concentration suddenly snapped her back to reality from the sudden thundred clap echoing around them. She turned towards the sounds seeing a red dragon. " A fire one? Great."she whispered moving through the group towards Sasha "Let me and the other dragon slayers handle it...your magics wont do much to it...ours was meant to fight it."Spoke Amaya to Sasha as Cecilia sprouted her wings holding on to Amaya's back. "Hunter! Zero! We need to stop it!"Amaya called to her other dragonslayers.

As much as the primeral and fun urge of battling with a dragon raced through her she knew she wasnt strong enough to held it on her own enspecially if it was a fire dragon. She took a deep breath to keep calm awaiting for either assistance or the go ahead to have fun fighting this dragon. Her blue eyes darted around the scene looking for any vital weak points or blind spots along with anything that her heigtened senses could tell her.
