Yaksha finished sipping his coffee, paying no heed to the display of gluttony of others that had been lured by the buffet. At least that seemed to pacify some people, which was integral to building spirit. Yet to his surprise, a Saiyan out of all things, had not even tried to touch the entincing food.

The same saiyan that had grabbed his neck earlier. Good grief, such a troublemaker... always standing.

He took a piece of bread and gnawed it without much care and manners, eating aggressively as ideas were traded back and forth. He was annoyed by several things that had been sail. He chewed and gulped and then he spoke.

"What do we know is these are a multiversal army, with enough troops to overthrow a multi-planetary regime. Even if Saiyans are known to ape it when it comes to management, they probably have enough enemies to drown us in a tide of never ending battles. We are few. They are many. And well equipped. We can't fight them on even ground."

"So we will use wits and smarts, and use any piece of information we can find." Yaksha said. "Besides..."

"What they have done to all of us, doesn't deserve an easy way out. I want to crush them so badly, deny their grandiose plans, and make them die, cursing in fear and confusion. Such is a fitting end for those who crush Universes worth of people. Regardless of our background, or how mismatched we are, we are avengers now. Our fists carry the conviction of trillions of deaths. We cannot afford a misstep."

Yaksha said.

"Our first stop should be a peculiarity of any given Universe. A place that is unbreachable, even for those who can use Instant Transmission, unless they somehow gain the ability to sense godly ki. From that place, one can sense the entire universe. " Yaksha said, taking a slurp of juice absently-minded. His throat was a little dry.

"The World of the Supreme Kais. Perhaps we might find others who we can liason with." He paused. He sincerely wished more Kais were alive, but even that was doubtful. "Regardless of it, if one does know the technique that attendants of Supreme Kai learn, we could instantly move to any point of the universe back and forth, and use that place as vantage point."

"Fortunately, Lady Chronoa is the second Supreme Kai I have the pleasure to work with. So I do know said technique."

Reaver

The Demonic knight said nothing, but inwardly, he was frowning.

What do you think this is? A videogame?? He thought in response how the android monstrous girl chose to proceed. Absorbing the spear. It would have worked... against an opponent who did not know a few military facts. Spears, or more precisely, pilums, had a secondary use. To stick to an opponent's shield and throw them off balance.

So when the third eye detected the attempt at ruining his spear, he quickly switched tactics, chose to reinforce the mishappen mess that was a result of the assimilation attempt and freeze it in an awkward position. The electric-wards would last for a while, and now Valerie's blade had a blunt, unwieldly protusion in the form of a spear that no matter how skilled she was, it would difficult her in swinging that particular blade.

Amateur... You don't realize that coolness it's not important when it comes to fighting. Even if you were crammed a thousand fighting styles into your brain with the magic of a girl's transformation, it takes wisdom to use. Reaver thought as he quickly drew his true weapon, the replica of the dragonslaying and anvil-cleaving sword Gram, and simple held it up just in the middle of the path of the kick, so the force would probably make the kicking, flipping sword for arms metallic scrap hurt herself.

But he wasn't done by a far shot. Shields were usually cumbersome, but sturdy, and not flashy at all. Yet for centuries they had been a mainstay of battlefields. For a good reason. Whatever the kind of sophisticated flourish, feint or technique, all he needed to do was plant his feet on the ground, clench his muscles.

And shield bash all the way to victory. A sword was a bad matchup for a shield and armor, and a sword for an arm, while it allowed dual wield and looked cool it was also true that reduced the distance one needed to use it effectively, moreover if it was a dual wield, where you must expose your entire front to the enemy. Closer to the shield. It mattered not what she did use, a shield bash would ruin almost all her attempts at attacking.

And he wanted to check the durability of Seppa's craft. He was growing annoyed. So he kept bashing, and bashing, and bashing. With the occasional stab of his trusty sword.

"Tsk" Dina clicked her tongue after seeing she was arriving a moment too late into the scene. Fortunately, one of Mariette's girls had taken her. "This isn't time to play games with Lady Mariette. Portal. GO NOW!" She issued a command, putting every ounce of her charisma, and Reinforcement boost on it, in an attempt to persuade the easily distracted dragon magical girl, while pointing at Dan's exit.

Her eyes darted to the duo, as her avatar was forcefully shut down, making Dina take some internal damage and spitting a handful of blood.

"Some knight and magical girl you are." Dina did not sound as graceful right now, due to the exertion she was taking to hold off Beacon. "What the hell was th... no matter. No time. Grab your soulmate, beast knight, heal her, and go through the exit." She could've staid and demanded Alexander to fighter. But frankly speaking, he was a brat... what could a brat understand about poise and honor? They were shallow and easily discouraged.

It was for the elders to teach how this was done. She then noticed something, in this odd lull. Sanctuary was under Attack? Problems never ceased. She felt like running away. Running to safety. To Penny. Her knees went weak for a second, she didn't want to die. Still she gripped her own arms so hard, and clenched her chattering teeth. She could not appear weak to the youngsters.

"I don't wanna die...mamochka" She whispered to herself.

I don't want to die. But... I don't want to disappoint either. She said, as she focused.

"B..blight of the...the Gods. Poi...poison of the He..Hero." She said, barely managing to get the words out of her mouth.

"RULER'S MENAGERIE: LERNAEAN HYDRA" She spent her beast magic transforming in a dreadful gatekeeper, with one of the mythological strongest poisons, coursing through her spit and blood. This also made her much harder to move, and probably could not get away in due time.

"GO NOW, ALL OF YOU!"

Sakura

Sakura had no time to get embarassed any further, as she was healed a second time, and staggered to her feet, she managed to watch Tenebra's final moments. Her face contorted in despair and terror of an unexpected death.

We're sisters now, right?

She remembered her words, those particular ones. It made a knot in her jaded heart. True, silver weirdo-chan had never been the most stable nor well-behaved, a veritable crook in her own. But she was an underdog. And she wasn't half bad. She had a big heart, and would always give her everything on any request she made. Whatever the past she had, with Lily and her obsession with the rat... she hadn't been that bad of a girl.

She didn't deserve this.

The agonizing scream of Lily was heard too. She didn't deserve this either. This entire battle seemed to be a pile of bodies, trying to pave a bloody road to victory. It made Sakura angry. And sad. But more angry. If she had doubts and second thoughts about deceiving Justine, those had been washed away long ago. She had summoned the black freak. She had killed Tenebra. The rat had been right along, as shady as that thing was. Justine was a blight.

And a victim. But time was running out.

Was it going to end like this? A battle of pawns? To see who made the next move, as corpses piled up?

"Fuck...this." Sakura said. "Looks like I won't get to enjoy Emily's sweets in a while." Sakura said, steeling herself. The dimension was collapsing. She skipped one step. Two steps.

With her Incognito trait, it was likely no one was paying attention to her right now. Three steps. She broke into a running motion.

There was no victory without sacrifice. There was no winning without losing. Death and life were two sides of a coin. Four steps.

This was the hard truth. She had been a cynical man once upon a time. Five steps.

But seeing the smiles of these fools wasn't that bad. Six steps.

Fools that kept dying. Seven steps.

A slave obeys. Eight steps.

But a man chooses. Nine Steps. Her coins rattled in her hand, the accumulated toil and tears, the lifeblood of this world, being suddenly sacrificed to power up her last effort. Her Killing Blow, repurposed into a melee attack.

Those smiles were well worth over all of her coins. All of her body too. It was fun being a magical girl after all. Ten steps.

The final goal. Sakura grappled with all her might onto Justine. She could not miss. She couldn't allow her to get away. Friendly fire be damned. With her last words, she hissed in an eerily dissonant sweet voice. "Sayonara, Justine-kisama." Lightning was coursing through her body, and her fist.

Eternal Style was not even able to mitiigate how horrible and painful it was Sakura's flesh being forcibly burnt by the held energy. Yet she powered throught. She bit Justine, like a vicious dog, to get an ever stronger grip. It also meant she was going to take all the might of the blast too.

She did not care.

Anti magic field? Who cares.

Crumbling dimension? Pff.

Self Damage? Not a concern.

Take my Flesh...my soul, and my tithes.

Strike the Unworthy.

NARUKAMI
Yaksha's master plan to conquer saiyans unveiled.
@vancexentan @IceHeart @Chev @KillamriX88 @PPQ Purple @Double @NacNak @King Kindred

Yaksha's first night in the Time nest... had been bittersweet. Sleeping in a ruining place was quite a challenge on his own, but nothing he could not fix by focusing a little and setting up a tent worth of a Prince with what was left of his magical power. Confident it was snug and and warm enough, he set out to find supplies. He pondered...

What kind of supply would be needed the most considering half of the team was battle freaks? Healing items. The supreme Kai, Chronoa, had set quite a lot of stores, but something among them caught his attention.

"No way, they could grow this many Senzu Beans?" He said, as he weighed the storage dispositive. A capsule. From Capsule Corp. He recognized the craft. Probably Dr Briefs and Bulma of many timelines had made a killing with these kinds of devices, being exclusive sellers to the Time Patrol? Yes, that was the name of Chronoa's taskforce, according to Supreme Kai Shin. He scratched his head. He was not going to look a gifted horse in the mouth, and they would provide a good backup should they run out of magical healing.

So he set to hoard all of these seeds he could find. He was thankful none of the invaders ever realized the importance of these seeds, or else his fights would have dragged a lot longer.

Now, if someone could fix the cackling pink maniac remodelling the city rubble in modern art, he could sleep at peace. He resigned himself to the evident. This was such a makeshift team, as he entered the tent. They would need to do some team bonding, perhaps even before they set out from the first mission. The Supreme Kai had warned him about the volatileness and liability of Saiyans, and something needed to be done.

Yaksha smiled. He was sure he knew one major weakness a lot of these fighters had, and stood all night meditating to gather energy and concocting his plan.

The wafting smell of coffee, freshly brewed invaded his nostrils as he set towards the place they were gathering, and eyed those gathered. "Hm. Freeza-kin, you really do outdo yourself. These will be handy on the future. Also good job, Majin... I guess" he said, taking one set of capsules for himself. "I also stocked up on Senzu beans. If you haven't heard of them, it's an Earth speciality and one of the best healing items of the universe." He added, producing a small hoard of these capsules. "It will be a boon."

He then grinned, unleashing the plan. He had woken up earlier for this. "By the way, I am going to get some breakfast, if you do not mind." He said, while pointing at the buffet that had appeared not further away from their position. Saiyans could be easily tamed with enough food. And none of these species seemed namekians, who thrived on water.

It would also prevent accidental poisoning from the Supreme of Kai's Universe destroying cooking. He had heard that much.

"I made a buffet. We should fast, for we are undertaking missions of great importance." The earthling said, as he gazed upon his handiwork of magic, gathering materials and ingredients, and cooking. There were all sorts of breakfast foods in there, but Yaksha was partial to fresh pancakes.

It reminded him of his princely meals, once upon a time.
Mind you. This still does not mean I like you.

Although that might be subject to change if I ever get you in a pink dress. :)

My posting ability is still a little limited due to a boiler breakdown setting most of my house at sub zero temperature and I can only heat up one room at a time. Can't type well in that environment.

Reaver

Reaver eyed his newest obstacle in the way with glee. Aroused by fresh blood, the bestial berserker seemed as if he was about to leap into the fray, and sunder his opponent into a frenzy. It was to be expected from a Monstrous Metamorphosis. If not for one detail. Odin was a patron of berserkers. And a worthy champion of Odin would know how to not lose all notion of thought even when becoming less and less human. His fury was true, but his mind, thanks to the Allfather's guidance, was like the eye of the storm thanks to the mind ward he had executed earlier.

"OuT oF tHe wAy." He casually remarked in garbled speech as he locked his spear with his sturdy shield, an action denoting discipline unseen in a rabid monster. "UnWorThy cOpY of pEnNy!" The ghoulish Reaver pieced together as one of his eyes, his Third Eye, flared up. With the average background of magic muted, there wasn't a lot to see in the flows of power, which mean he could see in every detail how magic flow went through his opponent.

It was also unfortunate that he was in possession of a spear that would drain electricity, which seemed one of the powers that inbued Valerie. The berserker went awfully silent, choosing a shield bash for an opener, before darting a quick and deft series of spear thrusts with the expertise of a master towards the weak magic points his Third eye told him, each thrust robbing and dispelling electricity when in touch with Valerie's body.

He had to eat quickly, for there was one of the Beacon twins in the scene too. A far juicier morsel, but he was not one to leave any given challenge without having a taste for it first.

Sakura

It was the end. The light beckoned. People did not choose how to end their lifes. Dying in a gutter was something Sakura had expected a long time ago. But she did not expect to actually die looking like the foul-mouthed little cousin of his now teenaged daughter. The revolving lantern happened with full effect.

Aoi

Yui

The latter seemed to spread her arms towards Sakura, the warming light growing and growing. She knew it was her time. A goodbye kiss was in order. She embraced the ghostly Yui and planted a deep kiss, as her voyage towards eternity started...

Or not. She felt pain once more, and wincing. Wind blowing, people breathing. She was alive, and Yui was in her arms. Except she wasn't Yui. She was clasped to a foppish youth with a Monocle. That wasn't Yui.

"NANIIII???!" Sakura screamed in shrill voice, upon the realization that she had flat out, sprung up and kissed Aurelio. She started jumbling words in japanese very fast, her mind racing at the fact that she had just kissed a guy confusing him for her former wife. It was then when she noticed the fallen Tenebra being taken by Justine.

"Oh you are going down Viceroyal!" She said, with a burning sensation of bile that was forming in her mouth. Except it kept going upwards, and It wasn't bile. She hacked a good douse of blood before collapsing again... Maybe there was some residual damage after healing. A lot of residual damage.

"N..new..tactic...bite...ankles." She said, wriggling helplessly but still very much alive.

Dina hissed in response of being suckerpunched, being just in time to avoid being flung out. Her enhancements were beginning to run her dry, and while she had cornered Leena, the situation was untenable. She looked at her opponent, thinking on how to capitalize the fact that it seemed her mask the one thing that prevented her incapacitation. External factors intervened.

Of course, the Courtesan had to butt in all of this. Dina mentally cursed. With Su on the way, friendly fire was a hazard she was not going to risk much further, so she turned her attention elsewhere. At least that freed her up for being the only one dealing with the antimagic field.

Still the line seemed to be holding much poorer than initially thought. The chief enforcer Alicia was advancing more than anticipating, and did it seem like Lily and some sniper were fighting over Mariette? That was a battlefield-killing dissent over there. Dina had upheld her hand in fighting and defending. A reckless vanguard, she was not. So she swung, and dispelled her offensive enhacements, to get more juice for the speed ones. She was going to grab Mariette.

Grab Mariette, toss her into Dan's portal, and deny victory to both Alicia and the vampire in the crumbling dimension by simply removing the Portal girl. There were times where one only simply... folded.

She swung hard and fast, trying to rope anything that could propel her further towards Mariette.

"Does no one pay attention? Organize the retreat!" She huffed.

<Snipped quote by AtomicNut>
If it helps Mia just literally had a can of cold something cooked a couple days ago over an evil energy beam. And cut her fingers opening the can. ANYTHING you prepare shall be consumed with extreme prejudice.

Well that and she might have binged on scorched protein bars during the night. It was a rough day for her. Ok? Don't judge her. Even if they aren't sugar free still don't judge her. xD

Also protip. Alien hero in dragonball or not fingers are NOT can openers. Ow...

Magic Materialization is OP outside combat. :)
Yaksha will frown that a lot of people have gone lone wolf when he will do a bufffet for the entire team for breakfast. Oh well, more for the Kai and himself.

Majin Eve: *Blinks* "What's sleep?"

Majins do sleep, in fact, Majins do sleep *mid battle*.
<Snipped quote by King Kindred>

That's up for you guys to decide. Conton city is pretty much empty. Plenty of places to sleep :P
The city will gradually become a bit more presentable and less destroyed over time but for now it's pretty much find a place to sleep.

Yaksha: What, you guys can't materialize a bed with magic?
