Frederick Flynn

Location: The Playground - Holding Cells -> Common Room
Skills: N/A

Flynn smiled at her slightly when she mentioned the part about kissing someone who could burst into flame. There wasn't much else he could really say about that, and just sort of went with it. Hearing Barton's voice, he let out a bit of a sigh, before he took one last look at the two HYDRA agents who were in the cells and followed along after her. Fairly certain that he was going to get chewed out by Tinley for deliberately ignoring what it was that she had said and ordered to do. Though he had to face that eventually.

Goose was just purring happily in Bonnie's arms, he approved of the hooman who was holding him at the moment, and he didn't seem to mind being carried around places. "Mrow?" he called out to her, as if questioning where it was that they were going. He wanted to know if they were going to go deal with any more bad hoomans or something, since it would help for him to be aware of the situation first if that was the case.

Walking into the common area, Flynn just listened and let out a bit of a sigh. Yup, here he was, getting chewed out by Tinley, and he rolled his eyes slightly. "Look, honestly I don't care too much to follow orders, you're right, but here's the thing, you literally had the one person who likely even knew how to deal with people like the Purifiers literally stay behind and do absolutely nothing so what did you think I was going to do? So don't you day try and get on my case about it. You knew that there were a lot of Purifiers in the area, and your plan was to literally have yourself and one other agent leave the base and odds are if things went south you'd have ended up dead, so how about you stop trying to pin that on me! Especially since the agent you asked to join you outside was HYDRA, so whose to say they wouldn't have ended up just pulling the trigger once you stepped outside, killing you, and then blamed it on a Purifier and we wouldn't have known the difference! Sorry if I'm being blunt, but the orders you gave didn't exactly make much sense to me, not sure about everyone else."

The cat was just watching the interaction take place, and was still purring somewhat in Bonnie's arms. However, the instant Niah pulled out the postcard, he stopped purring, looking over at the card. He moved slightly in Bonnie's arms, and his paw almost somewhat seemed to be pointing at the postcard. "MEOW!" he said loudly, looking at Niah and pointing at what was in her hands.

"...Figured that would be the case."

"...Well honestly discovering that listening to people only gets you so far in life and honestly really really sucks. Not to mention I don't really care to listen to the Avengers if they basically are patronizing us just because we're not actually adults," he said a bit bluntly. This was true, and honestly he didn't want to talk to any of the Avengers especially if they were essentially treating them like they were stupid, and that was the main reason he was kind of getting pissed off.

Thinking for a moment about what best to do, he held his hand up, his fingertip had a small ball of light, and he seemed to just bend in, and a moment later, he seemed to disappear. "...Did that work? I don't really know if it did... It's just a trick of the light thingy, and I was running out of ideas," his voice said softly, coming from where he had been just seconds before. Seemed like he'd found a way to turn himself invisible or something.

Alright, keep an eye on her, but let me know if anything changes or something about it, Pietro responded mentally to her. He just watched as Guin and Allison left the area, and he and Oshea started talking about a few other things while they both were off somewhere else.

"Yeah, well we aren't all so powerful or whatever, gets to be a little difficult to do much of anything really without the world knowing. Problem for me is I do tend to catch on fire a little bit," Flynn commented, before he shook his head at Max's offer for dancing. "No thanks, I'm not one for dancing, however, it does look like your chance to talk to my mother at least is presenting itself," he added, nodding his head that direction.

It seemed to be true, as Miranda seemed to wander away from Magneto, going elsewhere in the crowd of sorts, though actually. It looked almost like she was getting away from the crowd more of to stand by a wall. She was by herself for the most part, aside from every so often someone would start talking to her, before a few moments later she sort of directed them back to the party itself. "If you wanted to give her a present or something, now would be the time to do so..."

"I think perhaps a small army of penguins would be a lovely illusion," October told Annie with a smile, dancing with her and her wife once the song began. "Or perhaps zombie unicorns?"

Hearing the drug addict start exclaiming, Gambit sighed. Jack had brought a little kid and a confused idiot today - great. "Mon ami.... Ton frère," he said pointedly to Jack, before throwing him a look that more or less said that needed to be handled instantly. His attention then shifted to Anastasia, nodding a bit. He only had the bare bones of a plan in mind. "I'd like to open that to the floor, ma belle. In order to steal le diadème, we need to take out security, neutralize the agents, and get into the vault. Was thinkin' it might be best to try to sort people into groups on strength - and I think you would be perfect for handlin' the agents."

Gambit then gave Bobbi a bit of a smirk. He was known to be a bit of a flirt, but he was married to Rogue. "Bien sûr," he told her simply. He just ignored Richard, since clearly the man thought Bobbi had been speaking to him and not Gambit.

"Yes really... Honestly she's kept an eye on Lexi before, so don't know why you are freaking out or whatever... And sorry Ayita, but if I can't exactly bail on it you can't either, so I'm just going to have her stick with them... And Casper? Are you sure you're alright? Since honestly, you are sounding a little, off... Even for you... Maybe you could use some fresh air?" Jack suggested, hinting that maybe Casper should leave the room and come back in a few minutes since he was acting so weird.

He turned to look at Gambit and gave a slight apologetic expression for Casper's idiocy, "Apologies for my brother... He seems to be even less competent than usual today," he said, before looking back at his brother. Jack was really hoping that Casper would take his suggestion to leave the room temporarily.

Mary sort of just glanced around the room at everyone else, wondering a bit about what it was that they were thinking. This was going to be an interesting job to say the least, though one thing did make her a bit curious. Why did the Red Guard have this sort of crown anyway? It essentially sounded like glorified jewelry to her, so why would they have it? It didn't make too much sense, but she figured there had to be a reason, sentimental value to one of the higher ups maybe? Who knew the answer to that question. All that mattered was if they managed to get their hands on it. "...So we're going to steal a crown right out from under the Red Guard's noses? Sounds like fun to me."

Wolverine nodded his head at Cass and Tinley, before he fell silent. He found a cooler on the ship a pulled out a bottle of beer, using one of his claws as a bottle opener he popped it open and took a drink. "Why wait for the chance to take a drink or to go out for em if you can have one right now if you ask me."

"I think going out away from all of this would be a lovely idea. Though honestly we likely are going to all want to crash after this one. Even if we don't end up having to fight the Hulk, jet lag will definitely make you want to crash. It was a pretty long way to get here even with the Quinjet," Mystique commented with a slight shrug. Once they caught the Hulk it likely wasn't going to just be a walk in the park to get him back to their headquarters, only an idiot would think that. "And Howlett, thought you weren't supposed to be drinking on the job."

"Well we're sitting around here playing back up in case something goes truly wrong, so why the hell not? Not like we have anything better to do," he responded, sitting down in a chair and leaning back. Mystique let out a sigh, she'd been trying to get him to stop it with the alcohol for a while, and had been trying to get him to admit that he was an alcoholic but that wasn't going too well.

Lance glanced around at the group who were there, not too sure what to think about all of this, He had no idea who these people were, and as far as he knew, his father didn't really have any sort of friends. He preferred being away from other people, so who exactly were these people to come and ask if he was around. This whole situation was a bit strange, and his hand that was holding the doorknob and wasn't visible to anyone but Runa started to glow with a faint light. "...No, he isn't here right now... Left about half an hour before you all showed up... Um... Who exactly is asking? Who the hell are you people?"

Sapphire glanced back at the rest of the group. Now wasn't this just way too convenient, the good doctor wasn't home. Meaning that the Hulk wasn't going to be able to screw up this plan really, which was just great. Turning back to look over at Lance and Runa, she had just one question to add to what Niah had asked. "...So, any idea when he'll be back?"

"...Not really, I mean, I don't think he'll be back for at least another hour or so..." he responded, he moved partially so now he was between them and Runa. He knew that she could use magic, but he didn't want her to get hurt if it came to something like that.

Lance did not like the lectures from the others at all, and honestly part of him was just wondering when they'd shut up about it. He never cared much for being around the Avengers at all, and only really tolerated them. They could be just a tad bit on the annoying side in his opinion, but now was not the time to really be arguing, that much he did know. "Fine, whatever you say," he said in response, before he grabbed Guin and pulled her away from the others who were there. Once he made sure they were essentially out of earshot and away from them, he turned and looked at her.

"So, I'm getting a bit annoyed at being told what to do, so... How about we see about helping out in some way. I mean, we're already going to get a major lecture from our parents, might as well go all in since we're here right?" he said, giving her a bit of a grin.

Cap just watched as Lance pulled Guin away from them and turned to look at Black Widow and Hawkeye, "What are the odds they'll actually listen to us?"

Lance sadly was used to being yelled at a lot, usually from his father when he got into fights with him on occasion, though the occasion was becoming a lot more frequent recently, which was kind of sad really. This sort of fighting he was used to, getting chewed out about things, and hearing what they were saying, it was obvious that this was actually a major problem. Knowing things and actually paying attention or whatever were completely different things. "Look, don't chew us out right now, not like you guys are able to be much help against him and yet you're here, I mean really..." he commented with a bit of an eye roll. His hands were starting to glow with a slight light that usually only appeared when he got pissed off at his father about something.

Cap was able to easily get off the roof and back down to the ground, making his way over to where the group was. "You two should not have come here, at all, don't you realize just what could have happened? You could have been seriously hurt or even killed by being anywhere near here!"

This was a bit of a first, he didn't really know Captain America of all people to actually sit there and chew them out about the entire thing. However, there was one thing that he did notice, and it was definitely a bit of a problem. There was a giant piece of the rooftop heading straight for them, and he barely had time to think about how they couldn't outrun the falling thing before he raised both of his hands up and sent a blast of light slamming straight into it, causing it to completely be demolished, with a few pebbles sort of raining down on them but that was it. He just shrugged his shoulders, saying nothing about it as he lowered his hands and put them in his pockets.

Marygold Isley

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot

"How about you shut your mouth before one of us decides to smack you upside the head and then find a way to leave you behind here, honestly, you are so annoying," Mary said to Ezekiel with a bit of an eye roll. The guy was really getting to be a bit on her nerves, and there wasn't anything she could really do about it now considering the guy was on this quest with them and she had to deal with it. One thing she definitely could do was ignore everything Ezekiel said from this point onwards and take suggestions from other people.

Seeing the last monster and Roman, she decided to take Kirsten's suggestion as if to essentially say to Ezekiel I don't have to listen to a word that you say! Mary sent vines and plant life shooting up from the ground, trying to entangle the pair to the best of her abilities. She apparently was doing a lot better than she had expected to, as she entangled Roman completely in the vines, and even managed to kill the last cyclops. Today definitely seemed to be going her way, that was for sure.

Bruce Banner

Location: Asgard

"Oh, trust me, I know my mother tends to worry about me, that isn't too hard to figure out... And I've been around for far too long to not know how to tell that... Fairly certain she worries about all of us, even though she knows that we can handle ourselves..." he said, nodding his head at Myth and giving her a bit of a smile. He understood the whole, worrying about your children thing all too well. Initially, he and Halley had basically drawn straws to see who would help take care of the twins and Tate if possible and keep an eye on them as neither one of them had wanted to originally. As time went on, he realized how much he cared for them, and he did worry about them a lot, especially after he had lost track of time in Asgard (as a few years was nothing to him) and came back to realize what all had been going on.

Hearing his mother's voice as she came into the room, he turned to look at her, "Hello mother," he said simply, giving her a smile. Hearing that they would be keeping everyone waiting was a bit confusing for him, but after a moment, he understood what it was she was saying. So, second shot at a wedding? That would be a good thing, and at least this time around, if anything tried to get in the way they also had a mob of Asgardians there who would be able to stop it. "Fairly certain there were a few other things to cause problems last time Myth, let us go then," he said, taking her hand and heading after Runa to the Great Hall.

Queen Valda

Location:The Palace - Dining Hall

Hearing the words of everyone else, Valda was just thinking about what sorts of things they could possibly do against Fleur. The witch was a very powerful person, and no matter what happened, it would not be very easy to fight against her. They couldn't do this sort of thing alone, but she didn't really know if they had much of a choice. Other lands were having problems, war and conflicts of their own, none of them likely would be able to aid them against a potential strike from Fleur and her witches.

Hearing what Myrus had said about the ring, and since she was open to just about any ideas, she looked at the thing, curious as to what it was or what significance it could potentially have. She waited a few moments to ensure that everyone had gotten a chance to see it before she picked up the ring, a bit curious as to what it exactly was. Hearing everyone else's words, she turned and looked at them, "...You'd be surprised what sort of secrets just about any simple object might have... As for using you as bait Luna, that is out of the question and not happening..." she said as she went back to looking at the ring closely. Valda truly was curious as to the secrets it might have.

"By all means, smash the thing, I'd prefer not to blast things if I can't help it," he said with a shrug towards Thor, before looking over at Guin. "So, how about we get out of here before something bad happens?" he said to her. Cap had walked over to where Black Widow and Hawkeye were, nodding his head in agreement. They needed to get the kids out and away as quickly as possible, he glanced around the area, trying to see a quick way to get them down.

"Quickest way down is the way the two came up onto the roof. There isn't any quick way down, especially considering that none of the rest of us can actually fly or even come close to it. The ladder might not hold too much longer with the fighting going on up here, but we might not have much of a choice but to use it," he said, glancing over at the ladder now.

"...What are the odds of that actually being stable?" Lance muttered. Part of him was just wondering if it would just be quicker to jump off the side of the building, since from what he knew that likely was going to have the same result, except they wouldn't have to deal with a ladder falling on top of them that way.

Sterns roared at the attacks, and he ripped up a portion of the roof and threw it at Thor. Tony was trying to damage him, but wasn't seemingly doing too much, the guy had a lot of raw strength, just like the Hulk, and this was not going too well for them or something.

Sapphire

Location: Jail
Skills N/A

A while later, Flynn showed up at the prison to bail Sapphire and Veil out. He walked inside and was led to the cell where the girls were, and gave them a bit of a wave. "Hey there you two," he said with a smile. Veil glanced up at him, finally able to see the agent that Sapphire was in love with for herself. He was tall, muscular, and had a pleasant smile. And in comparison to the two girls with their numerous injuries, he was radiating health.

"What the hell happened to you?" he asked, and Sapphire just shrugged in response.

"Yeah, just what happens normally to people like us, thanks for bailing us out Freddie," Sapphire said with a smile, trying to hide slightly that she was blushing.

Flynn didn't seem to notice that at all though, "Actually, I need to tell you something, but later, come on, let's get out of here."

Veil hesitated for a moment. Their collars had been deactivated and she pulled hers off, before discretely using her powers to make Sapphire practically fall into Flynn's arms.

Sapphire's face turned redder at that, and Flynn easily caught her in his arms. "You okay?" he asked her.

"Uh, yeah, I'm fine, sorry about that... I'm a bit of a klutz, so lets get going, okay?" she said, and he just nodded his head.

This was going to be harder than Veil anticipated. She then flicked her hands twice quickly, forcing Flynn and Sapphire's lips to be within inches of each other.

Flynn's face turned red now, he was trying to stay calm, considering the fact that he might burst into flames at any moment, at least he had been smart enough to bring a few extra shirts along with him, knowing perfectly well that he might burst into flames. "L-L-et's um... Let's get going," he said, before leading Sapphire and Veil out of the prison, he actually looked like he was sweating slightly.

Seriously? Veil was getting more and more annoyed, and she wasn't even the one trying to get laid. Once they were outside, she purposefully tripped Sapphire, sending her right into Flynn's arms once more.

"You really need to be more careful Sapphire," Flynn said, catching her once again.

"Uh, yeah... Sorry..." she said, figuring that her sudden clumsiness was courtesy of Veil.

Veil crossed her arms slightly. When were these two going to kiss already?!

"Anyway... Um, how have you been? Been a little while since I last talked to you... And then suddenly out of the blue you ask for me to come bail you out..."

"Everything has been fine... Still wish a little bit that you had come with me to D.C. instead of joining SHIELD."

Veil perked up slightly. Now all Sapphire had to do was tell Flynn how she felt about him!

"Yeah, well I learned more than a few things about myself over at SHIELD... Like how apparently I had a latent x-gene and apparently have super powers so..."

"Wait, really? You're a mutant?" she asked, sounding a bit surprised at that.

"Yeah... Apparently I can catch on fire as my super power..."

"Oh my fucking god just kiss already! You're both beautiful so jump each other's bones!" Veil snapped, before she walked off to Flynn's car to give them some privacy.

"...She's subtle isn't she?"

"Yeah, um... Sorry about that..." she said, still blushing. Flynn finally noticed that she was blushing and couldn't help but chuckle slightly at that.

"So... You going to take her suggestion?" he asked with a slight smirk.

"...Was thinking about it..." she said, before she kissed him.

"YAY!!!!"

At the sudden sound of Veil's voice, not to mention he was still holding onto Sapphire, when suddenly he burst into flame. He seemed to panic at that, but Sapphire took it in stride, her hair turning white, skin going pale, and she didn't seem to be getting hurt at all from the fire. She gave him another kiss, and the flames died down, and his shirt was completely gone, so he was now sitting there shirtless.

Jack Theriot

Location: Outside Coldstones
Skills: N/A

Jack was a little surprised by Casper deciding to randomly hug him like that, but hearing his words he was almost positive that Casper had noticed. If Casper had noticed, then odds were that others might notice as well, and that could be bad. "Je vais bien Casper, ne t'inquiète pas," he said simply with a slight smile towards him. He was mainly trying to convince Casper that he was alright, that he didn't need to worry about him or anything. "Je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de parler à Ben," he added, shaking his head, before they ended up running into Erg and Blink there.

"Nice word choice there Erg, and don't worry you don't have to deal with Casper or anything, later I'm going to take him over to where my office is and let him crash on the couch or something, so he won't be a problem or anything with the Morlocks alright?" he said with a slight eye roll at how quickly Erg had turned to violence. Hearing Blink's comment about Sunshine, he stopped and looked at her. "You left the kid alone????" He really wanted to get back there to help out Sunshine, so as soon as Blink opened up the portal, and trusting her to get them there like she always did, he stepped through it.

"Oh, shit, give me one second guys.... Think I portaled a little off...." Blink said, her cheeks red with embarrassment. She closed the portal and reopened it, pulling Jack back through. "...So where did you end up? Nowhere bad I hope?"

Jack didn't even move from where he was now, he was wearing a different outfit than he had been wearing a few moments ago, and his hair was slightly longer as he whirled around to face Blink. "...Took you long enough... I haven't seen you guys for like, several months now, think around 10 months maybe? I kind of lost track of time... Damn it the Trump presidency happened... Wait, good news I need to go check the Stock Market though... Um, anyway, anyone want to give me a slight reminder of what's been going on, I remember mostly but just want to make sure we're all on the same page..." he said, glancing around at everyone else now.

Lance Banner

"Yeah I know we shouldn't be here, and we'll likely be getting a bit of a lecture about this whole situation later, but don't you think there are more important things to deal with?" Lance pointed out to Black Widow. Tony came flying up onto the rooftop as well, and he sent a blast at Madman, who just sort of seemed to shrug it off as if it was nothing. Lance went racing over to where Guin was, "So, we are definitely going to get chewed out after this, so what are you doing exactly?"

"You two need to get out of here!" Tony yelled at the pair, and Steve managed to make it up onto the rooftop as well, though he wasn't too sure how much help he'd be against someone even remotely like the Hulk.

Madman just laughed at the group, "Do you really think you'll be able to stop me?" he scoffed, holding his own surprisingly easily against the Hulk at the moment.

"Also Guin, really with that somewhat cheesy line?" Lance muttered, trying to stay relatively calm.
