I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
Amber tuned out the fight when she caught a glimpse of Helga. The pirate was still grinning ear to ear, despite the fact that her friend might have been in serious trouble. She was strong enough to help Helga push the car off of herself, and then proceeded to spray the magical girl down with a healing vapor from her cannon. Healing magic wasn't Amber's strong suit, but anything that would keep Helga vertical was surely welcome.
“It wasn't long ago, you two were on the same side.” Amber was still healing Helga. “If I can get to her to listen to me, I'm sure I can convince her to switch sides. We need all the magical girls we can get, and the more we can take away from Justine, the better.” Amber paused, reacting to the sound of something large and heavy landing on the deck of her ship. Sky bastion teetered left and right from the impact of Penny's landing. Not that Amber even knew who Penny was, aside from a brief description Lilly gave her. “Shiver me timbers! Getting my ship was their plan all along!” She reached into her vest and pulled out her flair gun. The pirate had previously demonstrated her ability to call the ship to a rooftop. But at the moment, she had to call it much closer to the ground. Fortunately there were no large buildings nearby, and she would be able to get it close enough. The ship was descending quite rapidly, and everyone aboard likely felt it drop.
“Amber?” Sue did a quick fly by.
“Change of plans. I know their real target!” Amber looked at Helga. “Stay safe, there are plenty of people around who can deal with Minnie, I've got to make sure the ship's safe though.” Sue was able to drop a rope ladder for Amber, who promptly jumped onto it. “Thanks Sue, keep the information moving around here. We need to stop this, but we also need Minnie alive.” A second shot from her flare gun sent her ship back up into the air, above the remaining monstrous forces. “A lone pirate only needs to have faith in themselves.” Amber said to herself as she climbed up the rope ladder. “But as a pirate captain, I need to have faith in my entire crew. That's Sue, Helga, Lilly, Alexander... The Djinn sisters are on my scurvy list for calling Mariette their friend, but they'll come around...” The pirate girl continued to talk to herself in an attempt to fight the pain that was hitting her entire body. She was fighting to climb a rope ladder while the ship was also rising into the sky again. Once it reached a safe altitude, it abruptly stopped. The sudden change in the ship's momentum caused the pirate to soar into the air and land on the ship. “Alright you-” Amber looked at the magical girls on her ship. “...What is going on here?”
Age: 24/11 | Gender: Female/Female | Illusion, Gravity Body | Power of Friendship, Regeneration | Moirai Wings, Soul Jar, Martial Training, Familiar, Environmental Sealing, Gifted, Awareness, Mystic Artifact
Welp, this was her cue. The light bulbs and their allies were on their own. Amber could get creamed if she met the wrong assassin. Tonya floated up to the ship, where she would remain invisible.
It was bad enough that Amber left to take care of the ship, but now Sue wasn't able to locate Lilly. The familiar was starting to wonder how effective she was at trying to bring everyone together. Though with everything going on, Sue was starting to feel something well up inside of her. Instead of being scared by her situation, she was being angered by it. Amber had quite a few close calls, and now she was going to go fight some individuals on her ship? This was starting to become irritating. The fighting needed to stop.
And that meant bringing down Minnie.
“Hey!” This time Sue seeked out Alicia and landed on her shoulder. She pointed at Minnie with her wing. “That hussy over there that's leading everyone? She can stop time. But you can tell it's really taxing on her.” Sue had to adjust her footing to keep up with Alecia's movements, something the familiar was able to do. “So don't get discouraged if she dodges all of your attacks, everything you do wears her down. Once she's good and tired...” The familiar squinted it's eyes. “I'll finish her off.”
At the moment we are entering a trial, so it would not be an ideal time to bring you back in. maybe in a month or so when things die back down again, Rika can rejoin. Or were you thinking of using another character?
I believe I gave everyone a truth bullet who showed interest, which was all the discord regulars. There's still a few bullets left for those that didn't notify me. If you feel like joining the investigation, just speak up.
While Daimyon did not want to, he forced himself to look at the body of his closest friend. This was the only person in the killing game who knew his secret, and now she was dead. Her passing was not one that he would take lightly. With a shake of his head, he started to write in his notebook.
Bliss was still holding onto Ice's shoulder. She hadn't seen the body, but her goal right now was just to calm down Ice. He was of no use to anyone unconscious. Fortunately, he was regaining control of his breathing. “Are you going to be okay?”
Ice nodded and stood up. “I'm okay.” he ran his hands over the front of his vest when he stood up. “I'm good. I just.” He sighed. “I just didn't expect it to be her.”
“I know.” Bliss looked away from Ice. “She never got to see me wear that hat she gave me. Even though she wasn't always nice to me. I think Marianne's heart was always in the right place.”
“I knew it.” Calvin's gloved fists were trembling as he pushed past everyone to get inside the room. “I knew that motive note was going to mean the death of someone.” He pointed at Marianne's lifeless body and started to raise his voice. “We're infinites! How fucking shallow do you have to be to kill someone over some note? They're probably not true anyway!” Before the metalworker could go on, he was cut off by a royal carnage sister.
“The queen is here!” Willow announced before riding in on her steed. “Hello vagrants, I am glad to see you are all eager to get this show on the road. It would appear...” She raised and lowered her eyebrows swiftly at Cyrus. “...That you appreciate my gift?”
“Where the hell is Monokuma?!” Calvin walked out of Shaun's room.
“You have no idea how happy it makes me when I realize how observant low-brow peasants can be.” She leaned over, practically sitting vertically on her horse. “Daddy's still a little sore about us doing things our way. He wanted you all to feel more hope before sending you plunging into despair. But my appetite for conquest simply wouldn't permit it. But rest assured he will get over himself.” She sat back up on her horse. Willow had to adjust her crown when she did so. “And pow, you've got your Monokuma file downloaded onto your handbooks. Have fun.” And with a queenly laugh, the carnage sister disappeared down the hall.
Monokuma File # 2
Victim: Marianne Time of death: Within the hour. Cause of death: Fatal stab wound through the heart. Marianne also appears to have been stabbed in the torso in various places, and shows signs of blunt force trauma to the back of the head.
Ice approached Marianne's body with the information up on his E-hand book. “Looks like the Monokuma file is correct.” Even though the Monokuma file was a lot more detailed than in the previous case, it didn't mean the case would solve itself. Everyone would need to investigate.
This should do. Unfortunately, the main limitation is that the description of magic and aeons in the roleplay implies magic can only be descended from one Aeon. If that particular limitation is discarded then the only real limitations are setting and the logical limitation (as I describe in my examinations), which encourage me to make powers that fit with the theme and not just something totally random. Additionally, if the characters didn't need to be human Spectre would be made entirely out of crystal. (Right now he's human but looks crystalline when using his magic.)
Perhaps in hindsight that was not the best RP to choose for this experiment. I was hoping you would explore your freedom more, but it looks like you put a lot of effort into this. I shall not ask you to redo it. So long as you are happy with the character and also realize they would never work in the RP I should be able to do my work. It might take some time, as I'm GMing an RP at a critical time right now. But I'll have something up within a few days.
@whizzball1 A magical school RP? I see no reason why that wouldn't work. The magic system interests me as well. Now you just have to create a character that you find interesting, creative limitations be damned. Filling out the character sheet would probably be the easiest way to do this.
