@Zelosse .....Ah shit. Diana's getting a hella bad situation, isn't she? Like impaled in the chest bad or something?

And Leanne is probably going to be the cause of it all.

I can't wait to see this happen! :D

@Zelosse By the way, whilst waiting on the Kano thing, are there any actual "Darkness" teachers at the Academy? Or is there some odd way they handle the Darkness students otherwise?
Cymbeline Lockhart

Seeing the captain safe as the enemy forces routed, Cymbeline rushed over to where the attack from the woods had occurred. As much as she wanted to see if Fannily was ok on a personal level, as a mage herself she was more than a little desirous to go and see what the nature of the other magic was. Others had already visibly gone over there during the fight, as it were, and as she herself arrived a searing, brilliant shade of purple erupted from tree before she could see where it came from. However, one of the other knights had at least stepped in to protect the others from this obviously magical trap of...surprising power at that. A small crater was all that remained in the end where a tree had probably once stood, and even the talented half-Nem mage felt a chill go down her spine about it all.

Whomever this was, whatever this had been, it was from someone whose magical power and skill was leagues above the average. It was more than a little concerning, in more ways then one beyond simply this mage having tried to kill the Captain. No, for trying to kill the Captain whomever this mage was would pay, but at the same time Cymbeline wanted to...understand this mage as well. This unspoken desire as a magic user to understand and learn about this mage's power, as it were, was a thing that resonated with her as a magic user despite her feelings as a knight differing from this in part.

However, as the others spoke to the faeries, she herself stayed silent, hoping not to anger them whilst the others asked a bit of questions to them. No need to try to overwhelm the powerful little things with too much at once.

Elissa Lockhart

After having approached the commander, to make sure herself and the others around here were at least safe after the enemy was finally routed, the stoic Elissa listened to what was initially said by their rather young commander. Between the show of magic, and the lack of magic ability among the orcs proper as a race, the sword and shield user had already managed to get some guesses at the matter. Or at least, ideas about what could have been the case. Lilianna's words, educated and wise as they were, seemed to finally hit Fannily in the face, in Elissa's mind anyways.

"Indeed, it would seem that the orcs had help coming here from whomever that mage was. Considering the power of their attack, though, perhaps the orcs and trolls were in part fodder to give said mage an opening at killing our Captain here," the half-Nem girl said, internally rolling her eyes at Fannily even as she facially appeared to be serious in tone and nature outwardly, "Mmm?"

As the town's bloodied defenders finally approached them, Elissa calmly shut her mouth as the handsome young man came up and introduced himself, after thanking the knights for helping. However, as he spoke of his father, the look of discomfort coming onto his face, Elissa felt a twang of suspicion rise into her chest for a moment. Perhaps it was unwanted suspicion, but to be sure...

"If i may ask in this instance- was your father harmed in the fighting?" Elissa asked, taking advantage of the momentary silence to ask a question of the boy, taking care to use a polite tone of voice in the process to try to avoid making a faux pas at this point.
Mina Miyamoto

"Awww, no little meal to fuel the brain for all that work? the large-breasted girl said, giving a light chuckle at the end in a good-natured manner as she was wont to do, somewhat trying to support Hotaru's little whine back about Nana letting her starve or such, "Mmm, but i can see where you are coming from, Nana-san. How about i bring the food to you two then? I'll just drop it off by your room. What's to say a girl can't enjoy a meal and do her homework too, hmm?"

Mina gave a wink at the end of her speaking towards the duo of besties, not having given up but conceding a bit to the more strict Nana's demands. Hotaru wasn't exactly the best apple on the tree, so it made sense she needed more help in getting things done. Albeit, the Miyamoto girl herself had to admit that if she put more than a casual amount of effort in, she'd probably be the top of the class in grades. At this point she was already doing rather well overall with her grades and such, though.

"Besides, the machine i'm going to get you both a little something from is one where a framer from the countryside fills with homemade, fresh hot curry and rice! And there one other i know gets stocked with another little treat, but i'll save that for when we all can head out and get a bite to eat together~" the girl said, adding that bit at the end.

Sure, vending machines didn't always have good food, but around Japan these machines contained a far greater variety of items than just foodstuffs. Albeit, Mina herself loved the foodstuffs part rather well. Still, fresh, homemade food from a farm in the countryside just screamed "quality" above something like a pack of snack cakes after all.

@Zelosse Leanne could prob use a Kano reaction to her little display, since i am not sure what other teacher would want to respond to a Darkness kid, tbh. XD

@Raptra Once Kano responds to Leanne, i'll respond with Diana and Leanne in my next post. And wonder to myself if Diana has a thing for being sexy in a labcoat. Meh.

Ravioli, Ravioli, they saved the long-sleeves loli!

Being suddenly snatched from swooping talons, Sanaki let out a light gasp as she was taken to the side tightly against another's body. Surely it helped her avoid the sure danger that had approached her with lethal intent, since only one wyvern was apparently being kept occupied at the moment, but at the same time it had surprised her more than the wyvern charging her. Really, the experience of going to fight and help kill the goddess had done anything, it had slightly numbed her exposure to things like wyverns.....and fighting a giant flying black dragon blessed by the goddess herself, but that was a far call from these things. For one thing, the king of Goldoa was clearly more powerful than this abomination, not that this sort of dragon was easy to face from what she had just seen. However, in the end the fact remained that one bolting had done very little, albeit it had been a "test shot" to see if both her tomes worked here and test the vitality of these beasts.

This being noted, the other mage had come out in some sort of sage-like outfit, and her tome apparently contained a nice shielding spell. Though if she were from another world, might this tome contain more than one spell as compared to Sanaki's own tomes? Fascinating and interesting as that was to her as a magic user to ponder, as an Empress and fighter for the survival for the world she knew instinctively she did not have time to gawk. Albeit, she did apparently have the time to get almost killed. Argh. But at least this person was trying to rally the assembled individuals from other worlds, it seemed, though as to how many would believe that was perhaps debatable. Still, they all seemed willing to fight the damned beasts anyways, so for now things would have to do. One had to learn to look at the status quo to get through this sort of thing.

"Thank you, both to you who saved me and you of course, Ms. 'Meteora'. Though with a wyvern just having flown past us, we need to prepare for an attack whilst the others keep the other wyvern on the ground," Sanaki said, taking the hand of the white-haired mage to be helped up, dusting herself off calmly before assessing the situation as quick as she could after these new developments, "I have a far stronger tome i can use, since my first did not do much it seems, but the trade is that this tome does not have as far of a range."

New faces, new bodies, it was quickly becoming a mess around here as the civilians had seemingly nearly fully abandoned the streets to go into nearby buildings. Not that those things did much against a rampaging wyvern, despite the odd style they all seemed to be built in. Even the strange looking thing some of the blue-or-green-clad beorc had been using against the wyverns were odd, not something she knew as a "weapon" but that was probably one used in this world.

As she put away out her Bolting tome whilst she was speaking to those in her immediate vicinity, Sanaki proceeded to reach back and grab...another tome, actually. One with a orange and recd cover, seeming a bit worn use but also well-taken care of as well, Sanaki's signature tome was more than a little comfortable in her hands. She flipped open the pages again before looking to the brown-haired boy in odd attire with the closed-looking eyes.

Facing towards the direction the other wyvern flew off in without skipping a beat, Sanaki help up her tome in her hands, Cymbeline ready in her hands as the words on its pages glowed faintly with a red, magical light. She was ready to cast the spell, now all she needed was the other wyvern to come back in this direction to get a face full of meteor. Though things were still not optimal, as there seemed to be no organization on the "side" her and others here seemed to be on, and there was no time to talk more or lay out a more complex plan.
