Did. Tiral. Just. Flick. A. Fairy?

The fay were not bad creatures at heart, being small, female, playful, mischievous, not actually a threatening presence to wipe out a town or something unless you managed to bumble into pissing a lot of them off at once. But powerful in their magic as it were, the one fairy had seemed to help the "bad lady" who had nearly vaporized the commander with magic in an innocent manner, not knowing the vantage point would be crucial to a battle or even attacking the town potentially at that. Even her two compatriots were prodding her about helping the bad lady, having had more of an idea as faeries than the one they were fussing at. But flicking a fairy on the forehead? It wasn't the worst thing ever if the fairy and its companions took it well. But if they even got so much as enough pissy to lash back...ugh. The potential was a headache and a half already.

Well, if the worst happened she would sigil her best defenses up on the others and try to help get the group out of there if needed.

But at least it seemed that Sir Tiral had made a point to explain things, with hopefully the faeries otherwise supporting the action against their ditzy comrade as a reminder. And as he turned to Indrau and asked for a drawing of that sigil to boot...

"I can help with studying the sigil, being specialized in sigils myself, and help in determining its nature and counteractions for it," the half-Nem piped up to Tiral and Indrau, her brain switching from worry over faeries back to the collected mindset of wanting to both understand this magic as a mage and the personal desire to seriously want to help counteract this stuff in the future in case the captain was targeted again.

She...couldn't imagine the captain being put in danger again by this. And if Tiral wasn't around to protect her to boot the next time, it would potentially be a terrible situation. Orcs were another thing too, but if this magic could surpass the normal spectrum of it...jeez. But she was a more formal mage than many here, perhaps at least, and that would be of at least some help in this situation. Hell, being a sigil user of note within this group was already a thing she could use to try to assist with this as part of the Knights proper in this aspect of things in general. At least, that was her mindset.

Hopefully, though, the two elder knights wouldn't shove her away due to age alone.

The lord seemed as knowledgeable that orcs had attacked his town as a basic peasant would be about matters of state and political affairs. Which is to say, not at all. To him, his son saying there had been a battle was as silly and nonsensical as saying he say a unicorn flying overhead with a troll riding on its back singing to a pretty tune. It made absolutely no sense that a lord would not know of the state of his domain being under attack, even though the townsfolk and others were more than fully aware. The one person who should have been conscious of this was not, and his son seemed to be hiding something about this. How long had this been going on? The boy hadn't answered her earlier question even, which had already been a sign of something amiss.

Heavens, even Sir Radistirin had jumped past the guards to place the lord's hand on their own blood-soaked breastplate to try to drive the point home. And that itself was a risk considering the guards, but hell if she didn't feel it was a fitting action considering the situation. If the Lord might get some sense in him, then it could be a lesser issue than it potentially was for him.

But if the blood failed to get him to recognize a damned thing....blast, she wished her twin sister was here to cast some dispelling sigil in case a magic of some sort had sway over this man's mind.

The half-Nem then began to glance about the scene with a subtle, furtive gaze, noting the guards, the lord, and anyone in the current proximity of things to try to look for any suspicious figures or things that might stand out.

She could at least do this much, keeping her cool as the others took some action or another.

@Zelosse@Kalleth If Leanne uses Darkness to make a giant Tachanka avatar to carry her to victory and punch all the things, does she automatically pass?

*ahem*

Anyways:

1. Is shooting fire out of the bottoms of your feet to accelerate and notably augment small bursts of jumping to get past geyser sections, whilst being timed properly of course to the geyser eruptions without being impaled, to get past each section of geysers in the Geyser-Glacier area be an idea that would work for that first obstacle?

2. Are there any stalactites hanging close to where the geysers are, and if so would cutting one down to plug up or be melted into the exit hole of a gesyer to try to seal it be a remotely good idea? XD

New York, New York; Manhattan Area; In the Air in Meteora's Arms

The flying man in some kind of armor, who has arrived in battle to blind a wyvern, had come up to herself and the blue-haired mage named "Meteora" to seemingly extend some kind of greetings as he floated there. Though the young empress held to Meteora with her free arm still since they were still up in the air, the blue-haired mage still perhaps able to feel the shakiness in Sanaki's arm that was wrapped around her for dear life. Even so, the purple-haired mage composedly closed Cymbeline and stuffed it back up with her other tomes, before looking at the man in armor once more. It had been timely to get help in the fight at this last second, though these new arrivals like the others were still strangers to her. Only this blue-haired mage had gained some trust from her, even if a little, since she had arrived in this strange world of strange beorc.

His tone, even through some sort of medium from the sounds of it, came with a sense of familiarity for Sanaki. Not that she knew this strange beorc at all, but that the sort of aristocratic-style confidence and wanton blitzing about as he pleased was reminiscent of the Senate. The Old Begnion Senate, whom had stabbed her in the back and fought to destroy the world as the meager slaves of a mistaken goddess. She could tell what kind of man this was based on what little she was hearing from him and had seen of his action, as she had dealt with the rich and wealthy types before in her world so much it had become habit to be able to pick up on things like this about people as someone in her position of power.

However, she was not to be one without manners in all of this as well, and it would give Ms. Meteora here the chance to hear her name as well.

"...My name is Sanaki Kirsch Altina, Empress of the Begnion Empire," Sanaki said, formal as she could ever be as she reached out her free hand and lightly shook the hand of the armored man, before addressing him in her usual regal manner, not flinching or faltering even for a moment despite her apparent physical age, "It seems more than a few of us were pulled into this strange world, as it were. Hopefully the beorc officials here will be willing to peacefully talk with us, though, after we saved this city from these abnormal wyverns."

But with her tome obliterating most of one of the wyverns in a great inferno, that had even left whatever paved this road seemingly melted below where the wyvern had once been, it was no surprise that likely the beorc officials in this city had sent some sort of forces to come here. Not well-armored ones at all, really, and whose weapons paled against the likes of even a couple of wyverns. It seemed painfully obvious this world was not used to such thing, or was even familiar with them at all. Out of the corner of her eye from this position in the air, Sanaki could also see the surviving beorc among those who had tried to fight the wyverns looking on with awe and agape in shock. This only further made her assumptions clearer then daylight in an open sky, but at the same time left a possible negative able to come to light as well.

These people had just apparently seen magic and other strange abilities in their world for the first time, perhaps, and those in charge of the law were reacting to it. She didn't desire another battle of some kind to occur, and hopefully peaceful resolution would be the first idea for herself and the others who had saved them, but considering the situation she wouldn't blame these beorc if they did react violently to the lot of them here as well.

"You, the beorc all standing over there!" Sanaki called aloud to a few of the agape policemen/policewomen staring at the scene, looking over to them and her voice booming in regal tone in order for them to hear her clearly from afar, "We mean you all no harm. The beasts have been slain, and it is safe to approach."

She wasn't sure if any of the other strangers to this world also heard her, but if they did hopefully they might get the idea of not starting another fight. Not that Sanaki knew any of them well at all, for that matter.

Hopefully attempting to extend a peaceful hand into this matter would help, though, with her taking a lead of sorts. As long as none of the others decided to attack and resist a peaceful process, on either this side or the side of these beorc for that matter. It was all odd here to her, alien, and conflict when none was needed might only exacerbate everyone's situations here. If Ms. Meteora was correct in her words, worlds had collided here, in a manner of speaking. It was an odd matter to ponder, though, but she had to work with what little information she had, from the only individual here she had gained a bit of trust with and for based on her characters and actions.

New York, New York; Manhattan Area; In The Air Attacking a Wyvern

From this new aerial vantage point, the purple haired girl had a good view of what was going on as she stayed within the blue mage's arms, one of her own arms wrapped around Meteora, from which the blue-haired mage might feel a little shaking as Sanaki struggled to hold onto her. Her other arm, though, held Cymbeline open, its pages of ancient script glowing with magical power. It was far less comfortable than riding upon one of her Holy Guard, but at the same time being in the air was a familiar feeling to her in enough of a regard to not just panic. Rather than speaking more, Sanaki set her sights on the base of this now-grounded wyvern's neck, the same wyvern that the sword-wielding girl who saved her was aiming for the head of. Her magic was ready, Cymbeline had been ready, so the moment she was flown up into the right position, Sanaki let loose her signature tome's magic without hesitation.

"Cymbeline!

In a heartbeat, a giant flaming meteor formed in the sky above the wyvern, small balls of fire leaving trails as they moved around the meteor's body quickly like daring faeries, or like planets around the sun despite being on a smaller scale. But this visage of her personal tome's mighty magic did not last for long at all, as the meteor straightaway cast itself downwards at great speeds, suddenly accelerated greatly as if propelled by an unseen force, towards the targeted area on its target. Aimed at the base of the wyvern's neck, it was as if Sanaki was aiming to attempt to shatter it and snap the head off all in one shot...just in case the sword wielding woman failed to split its head. Were it not for the fact that at least Sanaki herself knew this magic did would not shatter the pavement below or harm the surroundings, she might not have used this spell....yet she also hoped that the sword-wielding woman herself would not get cause in the impact that this spell would leave in its wake. Or at least, hoped she was durable enough if the worst came to light.

Still, whatever it took to end all of this before civilians got killed or hurt, before more helpless beorc were slain by these things, she wanted to do it. She was an Empress, one who commanded respect, but yet in this situation even she had the level mind to act now and think later as was necessary. Further, she was glad that the blue-haired mage had acted so decisively to get her into this flanking position. From the point of attack, the wyvern wouldn't be able to see the attack coming, much less escape from its great speed and the force that would result from this.

Cymbeline, the second most powerful tome of Fire Magic from her world. Only surpassed by the Rexflame, which she was capable of wielding as well. Even the dragons of her world would be totally concealed within the size of this tome's projectile, and they themselves were mighty in size and power. As for these particular wyverns, though, she knew not what world they came from, or even if it had magic in it. Regardless, their showcased resilience meant that they needed to be hit hard and fast. Now, while there was still time from the boy seemingly scrambling up their senses of sight with his own abilities.
