Midnight update before I "sleep".

Starting Nation votes right now be like:
Deneb - 3
Alderamin - 4
Horogi - 2
Velonta - 4
Erid - 3

On Thursday, I will set the OOC up and select who's gonna be in the RP, cause I'm counting 12 interested right now. Maybe I'll set it up earlier though, if everyone gets their initial CSes up before then. Hopefully within the next couple of days, details such as character connections and starting nation can be finalized, and then I can get the IC up by Saturday.
Oh, no memories at all? I thought memories were like, alright, ever since Saito started doing martial arts and such from the first post, and the sisters were doing some super big brain stuff like livestock shenanigans.

I suppose the confusion comes from this: what exactly does our instinct as three day old goblins grant us? Obviously, hunting and killing is an instinct, but where does our knowledge of crafting tools to more effectively hunt, making traps to more effectively hunt, or understanding that some things are dangerous (such as brightly colored berries) come from, if not from our human memories and knowledge? That's why it feels like it's pretty easy to overstep the boundaries between our differing interpretations of how far 'instinct' goes, and where knowledge begins.

That being said, I'm fine with retconning the whole 'Hoi, back when he was a human, knew how to make fire via fire-drill techs', if goblin instinct doesn't cover knowledge of making fire and they aren't at the stage yet where human knowledge is something they possess.
Looks like you'll have to find your brother then.
So basically, more unga-bunga, less 'modern human big brain'?
@PrinceAlexusYou missed out on the detail that you'd be a new player, and that the game never updated after launch.

@71342 Character concept =/= specific classes. But I'll keep your concept in mind. If you're committed to going full steampunk, you'll wanna vote for Alderamin specifically.
Oho, that's an interesting one.

By the way, what Nation do you prefer to start in, 71342?

Gonna sleep forever now, but a bit of an update.

Possible ideas for why people know each other are probably pointless without actually seeing what sorta characters exist, so here's a character sheet for you to fill out your RL personas.

The year is near-future, and for people in developed nations, nothing really seems to have changed, beyond electronics getting more powerful and expensive. The world, judging by scientists' predictions and geopolitical conflicts, is still slowly diving towards an apocalypse, but it never really feels like a dangerous time to be alive.
@GreenGoatIf you specifically want to be a ninja, like, the Japanese media type that nin-nins and then cuts you in half with a dagger while wearing nothing but a mesh bodysuit, then you'll want to have Horogi as your starting nation.
You think I kid around either?
@GreenGoatIf you're an Alderamin citizen, you can replace your feet with wheels and spin in place much more effectively than a flesh-and-blood human could.
