Alright, here's the game plan. I'm hoping to have NN's, Trickster's and my post done by Next Wednesday. Gives us a week and few days in the event RL comes knocking, so I believe it should be enough to wrap that up. When you have time to spare, NN, let us know and we'll continue to wrap that scene up and post it.

Hero, you need to post that collab between Gabe & Justine before Thursday, which gives you plenty of time. As far as I was aware, it's finished and should be easy to put up within that time frame unless you two need to add more? (noted that Justine was waiting at McDonald's and doesn't know the location of where she's heading and should) If it's not done, you have until Saturday to get that done.

Now to the rest:

I'm aiming to keep the momentum up and keep this thing moving at a steady pace namely as we're nearly to the climax folks which means plenty of baddies for everyone to beat up. Gene Co, after determining what's reasonable, will be entering the fight between Cowl, his thugs and Odette after the clash begins. AKA, I'll let you all clash for a few rounds (posts) then I will bring in Gene Co which so we can clash for another round and determine what happens.

All fights/conflicts will be mostly winging but I want the focus to be mainly on the story creation which means Cowl and Odette will get away. For none named or any important NPCs, they are free game for shared manipulation in fight.

How I want to approach the climax is pretty simple: due to there being 8 players, and likely 8 or so PCS in the mix, it would be much easier to do simple posts for the fight save for collabs during moments of teamwork between a max of 2-3 players, including Villain Players. Mainly as a huge collab would be too chaotic and hard to smooth out with so much going on, not to mention none of these heroes have ever worked together so it's not natural they would suddenly work like a team. This would allow, too, each individual to get some ass kicking in and give the impression they are doing their own thing with little or lot of success. The over all plan, like who goes for Rach or holds off the goons or if they just leap into there, is up to the Players and their characters. With some luck and energy, we'll likely have this done by the end of this month at latest or sooner! ^-^

Cabbie looks super awesome (seriously, I love scrappy heroes like that), and I think it'd be interesting to see how Parasite handles an unrestrained empath. They're both really good characters, but I'm leaning more towards Cabbie. They could be good foils to each other, and exploring the power dynamic between world-level heroes and street/city-level could be fun.

Speaking of which, I feel like I should really specify Lisa's powers a little better on her CS. I don't want to be able to pull a bunch of powers out of nowhere simply because my CS is so vague. I guess now is the time for those changes since I haven't interacted with other PCs yet.

My suggestion, notify the GM that your PC is an evolution based hero (which I did with Rach, mainly as her powers will evolve in time from their current ones into others) and in your current CS list the current powers, their limitations and such right now. Then, before you have them change or grow, pop the GMs with the information change and where at in the CS so they can look it over then give the alright or asks for changes. I've already done that with Racheli and NMS was good with the method which reminds me she'll have another power addition to her CS in S2 after this event due to Odette's actions.

This would also allow you to start off as 'street' level then grow into world level instead of starting off in a set power level. This might also be an interesting aspect to apply and explore creating a moral issue when she starts to 'outgrow' or push against boundaries Cabby might found uncomfortable and find herself struggling to help prevent Lisa from crossing. I'm assuming Lisa's world power, isn't she? Been a while since I looked over her CS. XD

DR. ALISHRA T’VYNAS LOGS

Dr. Alishra T’Vynas’ office came into view through the dim cameras. The office had a sharp, streamlined design that complimented the Turian’s sense of duty and professionalism, something expected on Pavalen. Across from her desk were several narrow yet tall windows with the shutters sealed tightly, their metal preventing the sunlight and radiation from seeping in. It also blocked the Turian city from view during the day and casted the therapist into artificial light . Currently her crested was bent over her work. In the far corner, diagonally from her location, was a simple chair and reclining couch that hadn't been used in several weeks since her arrival.

There was a few homey touches that broke up the serious of the scenery creating a familiarity that Alishra enjoyed and ruined the alienating professionalism within her work space. These were all she brought over after she left her home colony. Her eyes lifted from her display to stare a bit at her picture, her children and their grandmother smiling at her, the image framed and sitting on her desk. Her head lingered a moment before the sound of her sealed doors hissing open caused her to pull away.

Followed by the hiss came a military Turian, dressed in military grabs of the Hierarchy. His posture screamed high ranking, her sight noting the metals and stars to visually confirm such assumption, while he approached her desk and stopped in front. His piercing yellow eyes studied her with the same scrutinizing look she gave him until his gravely voice broke the silence. “Dr. T’Vynas? I presume.”

She wasn’t surprised at this treatment. The calm, yet cautious tone that carefully measured itself to keep a politeness customary when dealing with her race, the perks and accorded respect that came with being an Asari. Her fingers intertwined to rest under her chin while she paused for a moment and weighed his comment. She took in his image from his dark brown carapace, lightened by the Palaven markings across his face, and thicker than average frame for his species giving him a filled out form. Relaxing her stern expression into a blank one, she reclined in her chair and placed her interlaced fingers into her lap, her leg crossed over the other one under the desk. When he hooked eyes with the Turian, she returned the courteous gentler than she had received.

“Hello, High Admiral Lorus Fenos. What can I do for you?” In truth she was very curious, it showed easily in her body language as she leaned into the conversation when the High Admiral started to speak.

“Your patient, Vellios Malkai, I would like to see his files and get your professional opinion.” Fenos started, his vocal cord keeping steady and calm with surprisingly flawlessness.

This caused the Asari to narrow her focus on the source, her face to crunch up in discomfort then melt back into a neutral stance. It wasn’t uncommon for the High Admire to come into her office and request patient file, those she had cleared for combat or retirement, just to see what exactly he had to work with for deployment. In fact, it was her primary purpose here to evaluate and determine which Turian patient was best suited for the task. This situation was strange. Almost too strange as asking for a patient by name, especially one in such shattered moral and emotional state, was stirring her wariness into a new level since Vellios was also considered too young to be officially recruited into the military. Not accounting for the military’s tradition of hazing, grueling training and verbal cruelty which, she worried, might pulled the boy back into a trauma he wasn’t fully able to cope with again.

“High Admiral, Fenos, this is particularly odd,” Alishra started, her leg adjusting back onto the floor and pulled herself toward the desk, her arms moved to rest on the top while she retained eye contact, “Especially since the turian in question is young, morally shattered, and rather mentally ill prepared for the recruitment stages of the Hierarchy. The fact you know him and he’s even on your radar is… disturbing to me, for lack of better words.”

Fenos didn’t say anything. The high Admiral merely stared into the far wall, drawing more awareness about the situation within the doctor, as he seemed to mentally debate on what he was about to share. Deciding at last it seemed, he turned his avian like head into her direction with a high positioned crest and predatory eyes fixed upon her. His words were unexpected drawing her attention to his proposal.

“His background states he’s experienced hardships and a violent environment during his recruit-”

“Recruitment sounds more like he was a willing participant which, as I state in my personal files, he was anything but one. Vellios has suffered traumatizing experiences that no turian youth should’ve ever been subjected.” Promptly, more out of professional accuracy than intentional pride, Dr. T’Vynas corrected the turian officer. “This includes from killing his own mother to surviving the Haides twisted form of justice and moral atmosphere. The fact he managed to escape and can even adjust to a faint sustaining, civilized life within C-Sec’s very cells is nothing short of the Goddess’ blessing. Most individuals we’ve encountered have often regressed back or lost their mind, and those were converted adults.”

She was naturally referring to the rare Haides escapee that wasn’t immediately killed by their own shock collar or their fellow crew mates, their personalities shattered beyond repair. Often the Hierarchy or other government officially had to put them down-not only for their safety but the public’s. Vellios was actually among the few lucky enough to be resistant to the experience, but it still left it’s own scars never-the-less. She had just recently gotten him to open up and expose that pain to her through he continued to refuse the mind melding therapy she could offer. Most patients reacted well to the treatment and often addictingly because she could easily seek out the core issues, aiding their mending much faster, but not Vellios. He rather go the longer way to mend causing her frustration and curiosity to grow with each session as to why.

“So, my question is: why do you require information over Vellios Malkai? He’s not recruitable age or a viable option, even you must agree.” The Asari asked with a firm desire, her eyebrow raised to question Fenos’ motives.

The High Admiral, something she expected, took his time in answering then revealed the truth. “Curious. I knew Liana and Syberus Malkai, having served alongside the latter for several years. That is before he lost his mind and became separated from the Hierarchy, his views becoming a twisted version of those who see the government as dictating and controlling. He never could accept the government’s restrictions for his own safety so I wasn’t fully shocked by his choice of careers when he fully went mad.”

His sight noted a chair sitting at the desk’s end, his feet moved toward when his arm reached to pulled it in front of the desk, allowing him to face Dr. T’Vynas at about eye level. “I saw the vid feed and his profile image, realizing how much he looked like his father… save for those eyes. Those are Liana’s. “

“You sound like you two were close.” Alishra commented neutrally.

“Yes, we were engaged once before I broke it off. I regret it, but we were both young and felt foolish at the time. It’s odd to think Vellios might’ve been mine once but instead, turned out like he did. I’m curious about the youth,” Fenos stated, his words bizarrely calm and firm in his reply, “If he’s anything like the Syberus I knew.”

“And if he is?”

“May the Spirit forgive me for saying this, but he’s better dead then.”

An awkward silence engulfed the two until T’Vynas held up her omnitool, her hand pulled up a control to the video feed, then abruptly typed in a command causing the video to buzz then go dark.

@Blue Demon If anything making these connections now would be ideal since there's a lapse. Brainstorming arc ideas and approaching others who are waiting for Season 2. Idk about you but writing a little here and there with a brand new character helps a lot to get a feel for 'em. Then when Season 2 does officially kick off you'll be that much more prepared with full steam.

I, myself, am doing memories with another player between Benjamin and her PC Fenrir. They will end up being connected before the start of S2, which allows me room to determine their relationship and as they progress ICly, those memories will be inserted along the way.

What I meant was that Lisa goes into the city after Season 2 starts. But that's some solid advice and a good heads-up regardless, I'll be sure to PM a few people and see where it goes. If anyone wants to set something up, please let me know. I have few very set goals with Lisa, so I'm flexible.

A few that come to mine are:

@Blue Demon, who has Christine And Ginny, @Natty, who has Gabbi, @Culluket, who has Babel, and @Hellis, who has Broker and Runes. Those are only a few, but their cses weren't easy to find without some thread searching which is why I wished everyone that was accepted would've putted their CSes in the the Char section. If one of the people listed did, I didn't see it save for Hellis and Culluket for sure. XD I also believe @Turbowraith is joining next season and yet to make his PC, which might be a good choice in creating one that's a good option right off the bat for Lisa.

Seeing as Season 2 is right around the corner, maybe I can work out a way to smoothly transition Lisa into the plot. I know GeneCo is going to play a big role in some fashion, and I know Lisa is definitely going to cause a lot of mayhem until she either regains her memories or is convinced to join someone's side. If you guys want to use that to fuel pro-regulatory arguments or Meta distrust, be my guest. After enough news reports, maybe some Meta or another clashes with Lisa to try and contain her. (Believe me, when she gets to the city there's going to be a good amount of destruction going down).

Between the end of season one and the new one there’s going to be about 2-3 months, I think. That might not be a good idea since there’s no IC during those months between. That means your PC’s acts would’ve been ignored until S2 started and I can’t see honestly any of the heroes or villains ignoring that.

I might suggest asking someone to become involved with Lisa, as in find her during this Season and while you’re waiting, you and that person can work out over the morals, interactions and more through memories that you can insert when it fits.
