Frisk studied the soul and saw that it wasn’t going to take long before he dies. Immediately after reading that bit of information, they felt dread fill their stomach. They honestly thought that Mr. Shine had more HP than that. They honestly thought they could just weaken the sun enough, just to get the sun to stop trying to destroy everything.

But of course, before Frisk could relay the information, the actions were taken as per their order, and the sun was defeated. Mr. Shine’s scream echoed and reverberated, ensuring that its place in Frisk’s memory, while tiny explosions appeared.

Frisk’s attention turned to Mr. Bright when he gave the warning. After doing so, the child asked in concern, “But what about you?”

It wasn’t long before the personified moon gave his answer. The personified moon would be able to see the pain and sadness in Frisk’s eyes at the fact. They looked over to the door when it appeared before looking back to Mr. Bright. After a moment of silence with the child looking at the ground, Frisk nodded to Mr. Bright before answering, “Alright. Thank you….and I’m sorry,”

Frisk called to their friends, “Let’s get out of here!” before leading the way to the door, opening it, and giving one last look to Mr. Bright before going through the door, leaving it open for their friends, and Mr. Bright should he change his mind.

Once they made it through the door and all was silent, Frisk kept their eyes directed at the ground. Their hands were clenched into fists. They felt horrible for what just happened. And yet…they would rather feel this pain than not at all.

After managing to collect themselves in the moment, they asked the group, “Is everyone alright?”
They couldn’t afford to break down under the pain now. Not when they had friends counting on them. They were not going to let anyone remain hurt or get hurt anytime soon if they could help it.

Wayward Forest

What Jacoby and Shaedra See

As Jacoby and Shaedra approached where the entangled bandit was, they would still see the writing cocoon of vines, with no sign of the bandit struggling inside. However, Shaedra would notice that the vines were starting to slow and wither as the duration of the spell was starting to expire. The rest of the forest around them is quiet as can be.

What Safira, Mirdas, and Signod See

The bandits looked to each other in slight confusion after Safira told them what she wanted from them. At first they were both silent as Barney bit his lower lip before chuckling, "Hehehe...Booty...She said booty, Brett!" Barney started to laugh at the word choice, before Brett elbowed him and hissed "Shut up, Barn! She could kill you!"

Brett looked up to Safira and answered her questions,
"Look. We found that br-er, sweet little girl, in a crater three moons ago, a little after that weird light show in the sky. Judgin' from that dress she was wearing and that fancy backpack, we figured that she was a noble's child. So Bernie thought we could get a sweet ransom if we sent word out to them nobles, from whoever was missing a daughter. But...apparently they seem to have ignored the part to not send adventurers or she'd end up dyin', 'cause...well, yer here, aren't ya?"

He continued, "Warren was just the guy put in charge of watching her, and making sure that she didn't run for it. Of course, three moons is a long time. Warren, that soft hearted idiot, went and got himself feeling like an older brother to that girl. He even tried to negotiate with Bernie to not kill the girl and just send her home without the ransom. 'Course Bernie wasn't too keen on that. He had been planning to either retire Warren, or post another guard up to keep watch over the kid,

Mechanics

Barney and Brett rolled Wisdom Saves for moments of maturity/immaturity.

Brett got an 18.

After Shantae attempted to communicate with the soldier and took off running, she never noticed the gem soldier appear and warn them about Sparx, as she was already in pursuit. Unfortunately as she kept on running, the cloaked figure was proving himself to be really fast and she soon couldn't even see him anymore. Thankfully her eyes caught sight of the golden streak of Sparx's light and she let out a monkey like yelp (cheer?), and followed Sparx, not once losing her pace and used her platforming skills to keep up.

((Note: Soldier is referring to Zarkun's character.))
