Isla liked Zeke's TV persona, even more than the real guy if she was being honest. Though she wouldn't tell him that. Even still, trying to upstage her like that was a bit far and certainly wasn't going to fly. Although this has been the first time her and Zeke have both been on camera, this was not her first time having to deal with this sort of thing. It happened all the time during her competition days and she herself had done the same on more than one occasion. Isla adorned the smile that you only make when you are irritated and angry during Zeke's speech. "...I'll let you be my cheerleader and watch how I do it."

Isla wrapped one arm around Zeke's shoulders, trying to hide that she had to be on her tippy toes a bit to do so. "I think being your cheerleader would be a great time. Who wouldn't want to cheer on the guy who brought home the gold of Galar... She turned to the camera smiling, leaving it hanging a bit before continuing. "Oh wait, I forgot, I'm the one who did that, didn't I? And you're just the guy who got kicked out of the major leagues. Oh, I think that will make for a great interview so I'll leave you to it." She gave Zeke a reassuring smile, as if to say that its all in good fun. But the message was clear, she will fire back in turn if he did it again. "Good luck stud." She left back to the now gathering group of leaders only offering a parting wink and a smile to Zeke.

Blue furrowed his brow in frustration. He hadn't come here for sweetbread, or to have a conversation with his new guild buddies. No, he came to see if this place was up to scratch with what everyone says. He wanted to see if this was a place where he could make something of himself. Now that he was here all that mangy excuse of a leader could muster was 'I wanted adult recruits'? This wouldn't do, Blue was just about reaching that age anyway and he was going to be turned down?

Blue, who had previously been hanging in the back, made his way up toward the front. He got within a distance to look confrontational with Scorch but not to close that the height difference between the two would be apparent. "I don't know about these other lot, but almost an adult and I can certainly fight like one mate. Looking around it doesn't look like you got much of a choice anyway. It looks pretty empty for a guild, don't it?" That was a bold lie, Blue had never stepped in a guild but he went on as if that worked. "You don't look in too good of a shape either. But hey mate, if you don't need the help, I'll leave. No skin of my back."

Instead of immediately leaving the Croagunk stood there, not really able to move. He wasn't under some sort of paralysis, but it was as if there was a massive disconnect between what he was saying and what he really wanted.

I like it, feel free to shift it across to the characters tab. This still depends on if the RP is going through, which I would like a minimum of four characters to do so.
Yeah its all fine, I recognize this is a niche topic and expected few applicants. I think I might give it a few more days for applicants then conclude if the RP will start or not.

The guard followed Starbright's demands and was leading him to Seraph's upper room at the top of the tower. It had been a hell of a day, but it was coming to an end. He kept trying to hide the limp he had gotten from the Shocker to less and less success. Would the guard in front of him realize that he could simply turn around with his gun and have the upper hand? Starbright had to hope that wasn't on his mind. "You say Seraph is just upstairs, right? We have been walking a while, why haven't we gotten to the stairs? I am getting impatient." "It's just up ahead. Don't worry about, the architecture was just a bit weird.

The guard continued along the hallway until stopping at the end. The was no stairway in sight, Starbright's fears came to reality as the guard pulled his rifle and aimed it square at Starbright's head. Was he trying to play hero or just recklessly chasing a reward? "You know, Seraph offered a good bit of money to the person who killed you. Do you really think I would help you, you stupid annoying prick." It was the latter. Frankly, Starbright would have been bored by it all if his life wasn't actively being threatened, and even that was getting a little old. "You really want to do this?" Was that all the quips he could muster? It really had been a long day. All Starbright did was close his eyes, hoping it wouldn't hurt too much.

WHACK!

That wasn't the sound of a gun, and his head hurt... well... not at all. What the hell was happening. Starbright was afraid to open his eyes. It felt like eternity before he did, but in reality it was only a second or two. Who else stood before him but the specter of a friend he thought dead. Only, it wasn't a specter at all. Alive and in the flesh, it was The Bullet!

"You had to go and beat the guard up. I obviously had it under control. Honestly, it..."

Starbright continued the tirade for a bit about how the situation was under control. But as he continued the speech, he grew visibly and audibly emotional. Although his response may have come off as cold before, it was almost immediately apparent that this was a front. This built up until he outright pulled Chad in for a hug. "I'm just glad you're alive." A teary Starbright said holding the hug before releasing it after a while. His gaze turned to Sea Serpent who he had just let slump down onto the ground. "Oh, right, I probably shouldn't let her drop like that huh?" Wiping away the tears he picked her back up then returned back to The Bullet. "We have one more to take down, Seraph. He's at the top of this tower, we take him down and it will all start crumbling." Almost as if by comedic timing the tower shook from whatever the hell was happening downstairs. "If it isn't going down already, we need to hurry."

The duo proceeded on to find some stairs, Starbright had noticed The Bullet lagging behind at this point. It was then he fully noticed the state of his leg and stopped in his tracks. "You smashed it pretty hard in the fall then? Not to worry, I have three words for you, privatized HERO healthcare. I have the best medic in HERO on speed dial, he can patch that up good as new. We just..." Starbright paused as he heaved Sea Serpent around to continue forward "have to finish this first."

The two had found the stairs and started ascending. Battered and bruised, the two were not ready for a full on fight with a healthy Seraph. It was a gamble. Starbright had Sea Serpent, maybe they could negotiate or, at the very least, manage a getaway in time if things went wrong. But there was something he needed to address first. "Bullet, I'm not going to force you into this. I'm going up these stairs to confront Seraph and it may not turn out well. I'm giving you an out here, you can take it or you can stay. But that decision rests only on your shoulders alone." This was perhaps the first time in his life that Starbright made a decision that could place some else's life above the safety of his own. He wasn't sure how to feel about that.

Starbright reached the peak, not even looking behind him to see if The Bullet stayed with him or not. "Aha, I see you are drinking away your sorrows fine enough Seraph. Honestly I feel bad for you, but at least you can see when you've lost unlike Sea Serpent here. I also know you are too smart for me to try and trick you with promises of getting out of this without consequences. I'll give it to you straight, it is mere moments until you are locked away in Coldwater. Before I would have been happy, thought 'good riddance to him'. But now I see that sending you there would be a death sentence, wouldn't it." Starbright's whole tone resembled someone who was concerned, but with how tired he was it came off as extremely fake. "I don't want the blood of a fellow star on my hands now do I? I was thinking you can surrender now and I'll negotiate a house arrest or something right? It isn't the best I know, but after what you've done it must sound pretty good. Think about it, you could be home in your mansion with Sea Serpent here living out a good life." As if to indicate his point Starbright begun ballroom dancing with the unconscious Sea Serpent. "La da da, la da de. Sounds good right?" Starbright brow furrowed as he saw Seraph was still just downing the wine. "I know alcohol might sound good or whatever, I don't care. But have you at least considered what I'm saying?" Starbright was very oblivious to the darker nature of the bottle.

Isla didn't like Motostoke very much. Not only was it more southern, but it also had just about all of Galar's industrial buildings in one place. It was far too hot. Luckily she didn't have to wear her gym leaders costume until the ceremony actually begun. Instead she wore shorts and a singlet with light blue sneakers, something typical for a jogger. That was more than a blessing, otherwise she would have had a really bad time here.

Isla passed the time at the local cafe, sipping coffee on an outside table. The occasional by passer would recognize her and ask for an autograph, she was happy to oblige of course. But she was surprised how few and far between it all was. The ceremony clearly was a much bigger draw for attention and why would anyone investigate the people sitting at some regular old cafe. She took the time to appreciate the peace. Isla obviously preferred to be in the thick of the media spectacle, but quiet time was very rare for her so it can be refreshing every now and again. She tried to keep the thought out of her head that people forgot about her after the injury.

Well it was just about time, Isla got up from the seat and started casually walking toward the stadium. This is when she saw an all too familiar Charizard start swooping in and she picked up the pace. It was typical for Hestia to come in with that sort of style, Isla didn't mind admitting jealousy to that. She needed a flying type bad, instead she had to work around the train schedule. Where was the presentation in that? Never the less, Isla was glad Hestia was here. After all, this was Isla's first time in the Galarian league and she wanted to thank the person who helped her out with it all.

Now outside the stadium, Isla snuck closer behind Hestia wanting to surprise her. She was taken a bit aback by the terrifying display from Apollo, but that wasn't about to stop her. Isla tapped Hestia's shoulder and before she could even react to who was behind her, Isla suprised her with a hug. "Good luck in the ceremony, I'm really grateful I can be here too." It was certainly a modest statement and not something Isla was used to saying, but it had to be said. Coming out of the hug she continued "looks like we're still waiting for the others to rock up. Good to see you too Fiona, guess this whole thing means the slopes are on hold for a while aye." This was a return to her usual cocky self. Noticing the cameras nearby though, Isla was drawn in to the spectacle of it all. Yes I will keep the press busy, you don't need to ask me twice."

Isla spent the next few minutes talking to press. They were all more than eager to interview the ex-sports star's debut on the Pokemon training scene. Although there was a variety of subjects popping up, the most notable point was as follows. "Snowboarding is fun and all, I still go down the slopes regularly. But when it comes to the competitive scene, I've already reached the top of that mountain. Now this is my next mountain to climb. All I'm saying is Victoria better watch out, because I'm coming for her title."

Is it ok?

This is good, feel free to shift it over to the characters tab. Although, do be on the look out for a suitable face claim as I am someone who like visuals a lot.

At the start of the story I would like him to perhaps be visiting family back in England or something. Just the way I would like to start it, I would prefer all the characters to be outside of the US. Even if they currently reside there.

I've been hankering for a Jojo RP and wouldn't mind applying to this if that's alright.

Applications are still available, go for it.

Rowan looked up from her work at the Bunsen burner in surprise at hearing the door open. Although she knew that other witches would probably come in for preparations, she also worried that they may have not seen the sign. Temporarily blinding and doing serious damage to the eyes of her fellow witches was not something she wanted on her shoulders. But as she looked up, Rowan was relieved to see Kate wearing appropriate eye wear. "It's just me and don't worry, i'm wearing safety sunglasses" She smiled "no I'm not worrying, just glad to see the sign was big enough. Rowan carefully placed the conical flask to the side on a nearby windowsill, it only really needed to settle now and absorb some solar heat. Hearing Kate's list of plants, she took a little bit to process it then furrowed her brow a bit. Those were some incredibly potent ingredients. "Strange selections, can I have a look at what you are trying to make for a sec?"

Rowan had a look at Kate's home brewed recipes, the names definitely gave her a chuckle too. "I like the names, its a good touch." In terms of the three recipes themselves, they all seemed to revolve around the properties and effects of the flower with some add ons to perhaps improve the effect. It did peak Rowan's curiosity as to the effect of the other components also what flavor of frozen yogurt it was. Did it even matter what flavor it was? But all those curiosities were best left for Kate to know and Rowan to find out for the time being though.

"You can find all of those ingredients in the coven stock if you need." Rowan walked over toward her garden and plucked a single flower from the box. Kate would recognize this as a Sarcodes flower, but it wasn't quite that. Much like everything in her garden, Rowan had manipulated it with her magic to differ from the natural plant. "But if you are feeling adventurous, you can try brewing with this. I must say, I haven't quite had the time to test it properly yet. So it could do just about anything as far as I'm concerned. Have fun with it." Rowan gave the strange flower over to Kate.

Rowan noticed Maggie come in and grab a few potions and tonics. “That’ll be useful- I’ll let the others know you’re finishing up in here and then we’ll be on our way.” Finishing up? Rowan was barely halfway and Kate hadn't even started. Were the people outside really looking to head off so soon? This put Rowan in a small panic mode but of course she tried her best not to show it. "Thanks Maggie, yeah we will be out soon. My bags are already packed so it isn't too much of a worry." She had not packed her bags at all and it was absolutely a worry. Rowan waited for Maggie to be out of earshot as to not worry her or anything. "Alright we need to get a move on, we don't want to hold the others up do we?" Although, in reality, there was still a reasonable amount of time. The situation got blown out of proportion in Rowan's mind. "I still have a few things to finish up but I can help you get these done if you need."

Potion making montage later

Rowan made the finishing touches to Bottle Sunlight by adding a pinch of black salt and swirling. She poured the mixture into 3 identical capped vials and placed them in an empty pouch of her coat. The potions looked perfect, perhaps her best work yet. Rowan turned to Kate "I still need to pack my bags so I should probably get that done before they leave without me." She gave off a laugh with only a slight hint of nervousness. Rowan ran up the stairs to pack.

Sometime later, Rowan met up with Kate and Maggie outside. Seeing Summer enter Jean Luc's car, Rowan took a small gulp. "Should we, uh, see if Charlie is driving anyone?"
