Mahou Shoujo Chosen Arcana [Applications Locked]

Here's a quick assessment of what we have until now

@VitaVitaAR Yukimura Chiharu

I gotta admit that from all the characters up to now, Chiharu is one of those that fit the mood the most. The typical mahou shoujo heroine, I'd say.

Her power as well is good, especially if she discovers that it doesn't comes solely from the card, later on. I'm waiting to see that Precure-ish Kamehamehadoken make its debut, 'cause I know that's what you must be planning.

Ara ara~ A wild Chikage appears!

Another good one, though I'd say that she looks a tad too old for her age. Maybe, it's just the muscles? I don't know. Nevertheless, I like her so you can keep her the way she's.

And this, must be my day, 'cause a Reiko popped up as well.

Then gain, a simple and good character, so I like her as well. Though, I have an opinion about your powers. I think that the first and third ones are heavily redundant, so you might as well combine them into a single telekinesis power. Aside from that, she's fine.

Another perfectly good character. I think, I've notice a pattern forming around now and am curious how things will go around with so many "ordinary" girls around, but that's what we are here to discover, right? Anyway, she's ok as well, so go for it.

Phew, at least a pink magical girl. I was worried that we wouldn't get even a single one of those.

Well, it's another good character as well, so you can keep her the way she's right now.

Almost good as she's but there's a few things that I'd like to point. First, I 'd like you think of something for your "Lust" power. Mura already has the most diverse power set in the whole RP (though, I'm willing to allow it because of the 7 Sins theme), so power copying is one thing that doesn't seems fair for her to do, in my opinion.

Second, I don't think that a Japanese 15 years old girl should be knowledgeable about firearms without a good explanation. So, if you want to keep that aspect of her, I'd like to know how she would have access to something as regulated and restricted as guns are on Japan.

Well, well, well... where should I begin with this one, since I don't want to sound mean?

The best would be to say the truth, I guess. And it's that she's all wrong from the very beginning, with the lack of a family name. Though, I would like the double personality, if it was more like, hmm... say, Banba Mahiru/Shin-ya from Akuma no Riddle (mostly for fun) and not turn her into an antagonist character. Even then, a "bright side/eclipse" idea is good for a sun based character, so I'd like to see it done.

The real problem that I have is that your character brings too much dark undertones to the stroy with a plain backstabber half and those evil powers that shouldn't be part of her build at all, since I've been clarifying the tone of this RP for a little time now. So, I'd like you to fix those things before I can give your character the green light.

Lastly, I'll give a list of the taken Cards, just o clarify things even further:

I - The Magician;

VIII - Justice;

IX - The Hermit;

X - The Wheel of Fortune;

XI - Strength;

XII - The Hanged Man;

XIII - Death;

XV - The Devil;

XVIII - The Moon;

XIX - The Sun;

XX - Judgement.

As well as two more once @Kimiyosis and @liferusher (I'm still sorry bout forgetting you -.-") have made their choices. With this many players we will reach the second arc of the story way faster than I anticipated, which can actually be good, to say the truth.

Well, I've considered everything and really think that I should step out, before causing any unintentional harm to the RP, since it's not a problem that I can solve anytime before December. Anyway, I'll keep following it, and if the possibility of joining ever pops in, I'll take it (though, obviously, not as the same character).

@TheWindel's words speak the truth. I'm a fan of pretty much all kinds of magical girls and that's why I didn't wanted this to be a PMMM rip off, but also don't wanted to completely shutdown this possibility. Actually, you can be certain that the Tower will be a major Oh Crap! moment.

However, I'd say that the RP will fall on a Nanoha pattern. That is, begin fairly light hearted (except for the fact that you will get your asses kicked on the first fight) and then, let shit hit the fan on a nice and slow pace.

@Black Alice Thank you for the consideration, really. The thing is that I really want to join this RP, but I'm afraid of holding everyone down with my complicated schedule this time of the year, with college and job demanding ever more time. If you could give me an idea of how frequently you'd like us to post, I could give you a definite answer if I'll ever join or not. And if the answer is yes, I'll finish my CS tomorrow.

Anyway, know that I like your idea and your style as GM and hope to at least be able to roleplay with you in the future, if it doesn't work this time around.

What you said is pretty much the above is pretty much the truth (you only get the card unless your CS is done), except that it really isn't first come first serve. If there was a way to keep everyone in the RP, things could be different, but for this one I'll have to do one of the things that I dislike the most that is cutting down people.

Unless I make some changes before the OOC is up, but I don't think it's much probable.
