Eclipse Princess

Eclipse Princess remained silent for the greater part of the travel to the Ivory Masks territory, the neutral glare she had settled with being an statement of her (current) leveled state of mind. Once they had left the perimeter of the Ebony Strykers, Princess changed her equipment back to her usual one. "It's better that as little persons as possible know about that armor. It's one of my trump cards, given to me by mom, but I simply couldn't resist to draw it in the heat of battle. I... just love how powerful it makes me feel, almost as if mom were there supporting my every move." Eris explained to Cassandra in a rather relaxed way as they traveled.

"Naturally, you are the other big asset I have, Cassandra, besides Mother and Eins. By the way, that's my twin sister, she's on Germany right now, adjusting her cybernetics. You can pretty much say that my world spins around the three of you. I know that it's kind of sad but, that's just that I can't care less for the rest of the world. Humanity as a whole is obnoxious but, we achieved so many great feats and I like to believe that we can do much more, if only we shake off the cancer known as the Deep Ground Program."

Soon enough, they would find themselves inside of the Ivory Masks' territory, going to the White City's gates, to rendezvous with none but Stark Zealot, the White King's own personal guard dog, who Eclipse Princess/Eris had a bone to pick up with. "No matter what you do, Nies, don't follow me on my choice. You have your friends like that Jukebox person you've mentioned, you don't need to give up on them to remain besides me. Don't ally yourself with the Ivory Masks." Eclipse Princess asked, just as she hopped off of the car (which hadn't exploded... yet) and walked to meet Zealot with a stoic glare, befitting their relationship.

"I believe your master sent me an invitation." Princess said before crossing her arms under her bust as she waited for a reply. At that moment, anyone who cared to look would find that Eclipse Princess' name had just disappeared from the Ebony Strykers' player roster...
Emma Fujioka

"Ok, Nixon, I think I'm ready, now. We can get to it as soon as you are as well." Emma said as she came back from the bathroom, wrapped in naught but a towel. She wasn't exactly looking sultry or provocative (which was a great change of character from her usual unfettered self), but also wasn't blushing any abnormal amount while looking impossibly embarrassed. All in all, she looked normal, which is interesting to say the least.

Emma sat beside Aaron on the bed, looking with a curious eye at the title he was reading, a certain manga about a crew of pirates that never seemed to be able to find the treasure they were seeking for years. "It's funny, right? Even after about fifty years, this series never ends. One has to think why they even bother to publish it but I guess, money is the answer to all business questions, right?" Despite what she had proposed for them to do, it looked like Emma was trying to be as casual as ever, maybe it just wasn't anything to be embarrassed about? "Oh, if you want to use the bath as well, you can go in while the water is still hot. Just don't mind the fact that we don't have any shampoo, or anything else, for guys here. I can get your clothes on the washer on the meanwhile, I guess you'll need'em tomorrow, right?"
Itsuko M. Kanzaki

"Ohh! Thank you for that, Huntress, it's even melon, my favorite!" Itsuko said as Huntress handed her the smoothie she brought earlier. The blondie sucked it slowly, trying to hide the occasional wince from her sore ribs from both Huntress and Hibiki, as she observed the other girls tried to chat. Eventually, Itsuko extended her open palm for Train to paw at as she noticed the cat fidgeting around on Hibiki's hands.

"Y'know, I have a thing for cats well, tigers to say the truth. I even asked Huntress to let me have one, but she says that I'd better not. Maybe, if you train enough, you can become strong like a tiger?" Itsuko said to the cat, who didn't looked like it was understanding anything at all, after all, it was a cat, heh. "Anyway, Hibiki, if you want we can play inside, maybe even go to Deep Ground, who knows? Hmm..." Itsuko paused pensively as she cuddled against Huntress, not unlike how Train cuddled against Hibiki as well, "That would mean leaving Huntress behind, I don't know... I don't want that. Maybe we can play some old video games? I have lots of'em, up there. Maybe, the two of us together have a chance of beating Huntress?"
Absinthe Blue

"Hey, that's not my fault that we got hacked, you know? I'm not a security technician or something like this." Absinthe replied to Azure Panther as two were about to reach the Throne Room. However, the world of the usually overly happy fairy seemed to shatter the moment she noticed none but her beloved Titania-sama splattered on her throne, with a discolored eye, just like as if she had been beaten to a bloody pulp by someone, but... who could it be, there was no signs of invasion. Unless, "maybe, it was the hacker who did it?"

Absinthe didn't had much time to conjecture about it as soon enough Mercury Titania started to show signs of recoding her consciousness. "Titania-sama! Titania-sama, what happened to you? Wh-who did this?" Absinthe asked while trying to support Titania, so that she could stand correctly. At that moment even the presence of Azure Panther was erased from Absinthe's mind as she focused solely on her beloved king.

"A-a healer, I have to get one. Anyone, just be online, please." Absinthe run her eyes through the whole roster of the Cobalt Bruisers, cursing inwardly as she noticed that pretty much all of them were away, raiding the Black City. Damn hell if they were not going to be in for a good chewing when they were back...

"Life is just like a dream, fleeting. When you least expect, it ends and you are left with nothing but a void to gaze at."

Name: Reiko Asamiya, The Scarlet Sage.
Age: 22 years.
Height: 164 cm.

Personality: Reiko's usually an introspective person, pretty much always keeping to her thoughts as if she had a huge weight to carry on her shoulders, which is in fact kind of true, even if most of it is just perceived guilt.

Brief History: At the young age of twenty one, someone with Reiko's talents would be considered a prodigy, the last great magician of the Asamiya Clan. If only for the fact that, because of personal reasons that few know about, Reiko hadn't gave upon the life of the a mage and decided to study Philolophy, hoping that a mundane life would be some form of penance for whatever sin Reiko thinks she committed.

However, nothing on this life ever goes like one wishes. With the news of the upcoming ritual, Reiko traveled to New Sealand, to take part on it, under the guise of an exchange student of New Sealand's University Master Degree program. Reiko's personal goal on this war is unclear, at the present moment, even Reiko doesn't know what she's fighting for.

Magic: The Asamiya clan's primary magical expertise is exorcism, effectively the skill to deplete a supernatural being's existence, destroying it, which is no wonder when one considers that the Asamiya are known as a Demon Hunters for generations. For that reason, most of their magic is defensive in nature, dealing with barriers and enhancements as well as Eastern rituals and related magic. Reiko however, has a talent for fire magic which allows her to use offensive variations of some of her defensive spells.

Their magic is based on Onmyoudou and their runes are generally delivered through the usage of pre-written ofuda, though the spells can work if they are written on any similar surface (like a playing card, for example). Reiko has grown particularly fond of using book marks and usually carries a whole stack of them with her at all times since they light, easy to conceal and wouldn't call any undue attention to her, since she's a student.

Vampire Form

"You know it's your end, if you forced me to use this power..."

Yggdrasil Seed: The seed owned by Reiko allows her to access the powers (transform) of her clan's ancestor, a powerful vampire. While she is on this form, Reiko is faster, tougher and stronger than her usual (enhanced) without having to use extra spells.

Reiko can use two additional powers that don't require rune magic to be activated, the first being hemokinesis (the power to control blood) and telekinesis, those two powers might or not be related. Her usual limits range around enough a ball of 01 meter diameter of blood (around 2,100 liters) and a mass of roughly 2,200 kilograms (around the weight of a medium pick up). However, Reiko has to divide her power between both uses, meaning that she can't reach full power on both at the same time.

The seed works based on Reiko's conviction, which she actually grew to believe based on the lore of her family. However, Reiko also believes that this power for long causes her to become "corrupted", developing a literal thirst for blood and even aversion to go under the sun light thus, Reiko tries to avoid overusing it, for fear that she might become a full vampire if she does so.

Other:
She's said to be dead by her clan, who preferred to fake Reiko's demise than admit to the magic community that their most powerful member, surpassing even the clan's head, Ginko Asamiya --The Silver Fox-- had turned her back on them.

No matter what Reiko is always seen wearing a red scarf, or similar accessory. It's the main giveaway of her true identity as the women of the Asamiya clan are preserve this tradition for ages. Why Reiko still does it,despite her defection, is unknown.

Recently, Reiko has been contemplating the idea of smoking, but she's yet to commit to it.

She has fire runes engraved on one that she carries with her the whole time, so that she can use her pyrokynetic abilities without extra preparation time.

Reiko has rent a small rundown apartment on the old part of the city's downtown, which serves as both Reiko's residence and the business place for her (unnamed) investigation agency.

Reiko has a BMW-S 1000 RR which she uses as her main means of transportation.

We do hope you realize that killing and turning a Player Character will not make them your slave forever, right? And permanent undeath should really only work on humans as they are squishy, while lesser demons can be made undead until destroyed.

But, I never said that, or... intended to do it. Victoire wouldn't turn anyone into undead anyway. Her one, and only, servant is a certain (un)lucky werewolf.

@Lonewolf685

Ah but just think of the fear factor! Getting killed is bad enough, but getting enslaved for the rest of your unlife until the sweet merciful release of death? Horrorshow.

Everyone should be a zombie. Even the robots. Especially the robots. Robot zombie.

you can thank me later.

You are pretty much certain on this, you just forgot the pirate, ninja, maid, after zombie robot.

This was not for me, but I feel obliged to reply, anyway:

¬_¬ "Heh!"
@Skyswimsky

Vampires are great tour guides, didn't y'know?

"Uhh... some persons just can't be satisfied." Victoire sighed deeply as Suparna took her leave in the most ungracious and inappropriate way possible, before turning to Fran and Silana once more. "This forces us to change plans once more. Without the Maggot's support we are at a clear disadvantage on this scenario. We will have to make do with blunt tactics."

Victoire released her wolves on the nearby Machina defensive position, supporting Fran's advance, while rounding the humans on the corner. "These will do as fine meat shields, that is, if they wanna live, but this one... I shall take." Victoire pulled a female human that wore an officer's uniform, drawing her on a tight embrace, ready for a vampire's deadly kiss. As the girl was forced to her knees, to better match Victoire's height, the vampire forced her hands inside of the human's shirt and skirt, feeding of the girl's blood and lust, sating both her vampire and succubus hungers. "I don't have time to create slaves now so, I'll be merciful to you and not turn you into an undead, as long as you allow me to use your radio, to send a message through this ship's intercom." The officer didn't had much choice on it, really. Being killed is something one can come out of, but being turned into an undead is a sentence that last for eternity here on the Nexus, anything was better than that.

Owing to her word, Victoire let the human go, with little but a perforation in the neck and pair of wet panties as she broadcasted the following message through the whole ship,using the intercom system. "Attention all Sleeper Agents and Demons inside this fortress, the Prize is being held on the Cargo Hold, on the ship's lowest levels. All of you who remain loyal to the Armies of Darkness, converge there immediately and assist in crushing the remaining Machina resistance. Don't kill any humans on the way, I repeat, don't kill any humans on the way there. Round them like the cattle they are and force them to the Cargo Hold as well. Spread chaos through the enemy, force them to think if they are shooting friend or foe, if you can do this, victory is ours..." Victoire sighed deeply before saying the last piece of her rallying speech with as much faked enthusiasm as she could, "For... King Rufus!"

"Hmph!" Diana complained as she was bound to Bastion using steel cables and both of them were unceremoniously thrown inside the container, before being locked in. She could try to break the cables, that's for sure but, the tension would harm Bastion for sure, if not outright kill her. With this to take into consideration, Diana was truly bound, unable to do anything to harm an innocent, specially a girl like Bastion, that didn't looked like she had nothing to do with this War.

Bastion, on the other hand, was rather displeased with the whole ordeal and thrashing around, complaining "Hey, you can't do that to us! Who do you think you ar-Hmph? Hemph! Yhmph! Sthmph!!!" That is until she had a piece of cloth from her torn jacket stuffed inside of her mouth, got tied to Diana and stuffed in the container along with the dragon girl.

Well, at least now both of them would be able to stay together just as they wished, not?
@Rune_Alchemist@Lucius Cypher

I'm pretty much waiting on you two, to post again, since Suparna bailed out.

Considering that pretty much half of the characters are poor of the battle already, so it's on you guys.
I'll try to post up to tomorrow.
Magical Notes

A tale of Songs and Knights

"Oh my, did you get angry? What's it, Beansprout, childhood trauma, or is it something else?" The mysterious girl spun her massive axe in the air, deflecting most of Rander's shots, though she still got hit by a bullet in the right thigh. It didn't looked like a serious injury but, with the femoral artery nearby, one can never be too sure.

Cass' tackle found some ground while the psycho was distracted with Rander, but she managed to use her already built momentum to roll on the arena floor, landing as far away from them as possible. "Mmm~ I don't think that I can control myself for too long. Master Prophet, I'm sorry but I can't control myself." The girl run a finger over the bloody patch on her leg, before licking it, a bloodthirsty grin stamped on her face.

Suddenly, she dashed forward in a burst of speed, twisting and weaving her path like a sake uncoiling it self for lunge. As the girl closed the gap between Rander and she, in a mere second, she brought her axe down, hoping to cleave the small Song Knight in half with a single strike. She also threw her very last music sheets at Cass' face, spawning a mere couple of undead to distract him while she tried to carve Rander's flesh.

* * *

Meanwhile, Princess Lieselotte was extremely confused by the sudden appearance of Darell, who she didn't knew nothing about, but as soon as Amelia, Hywel and Nem presented themselves before her, Princess Lieselotte righted her posture, before clearing her throat, to calm herself. "Thank you for your assistance. We should depart immediately. I pray for the gods that those who stay behind will be safe."

* * *

"Your Highness, you finally arrived. Our forces are in disarray here, the enemy's opposition is too strong for us to break through we'll need the power of a Song Knight force to do so... Wait, where's Princess Ires?" The Captain of the Guard said as he hushed to meet the arriving Princess on to see that it was Princess Lieselotte, who isn't an actual Song Knight, just a soldier within the conventional military, albeit a General by nothing but birthright. At least she did bring some knights with her, that was the Captain's only solace.

"My sister couldn't come, our Lord, the Emperor, called for her. I doubt that word of the attack even reach the palace. I'm sorry, but you'll have to make do with only us for the time being." The Princess tried to sound as imposing as she could, after all, she was the commanding officer here, though it was a rather hard task in face of a man that has more than three times her own life expanse only of military records and is almost two heads taller than her, not to say anything of bulk looks. "Give us a report. What's the status of the attack?"

One with good ears would be able to clearly listen to the Captain grumbling something about both of the Princesses being brats that liked to play soldier, under his breath, before giving a straight reply. "The enemy is guarding the entrance of the Cathedral with a single soldier, but we can't break through no matter what, because she has a force of Dissonances at her disposal and seems to wield some kind of Magic. Only a Song Knight can break through it."

"If you are willing to advance, we can provide so that at least you get to the entrance unharmed. Other than that, we will be pretty much useless against those foes." The Captain waited a reply from either Amelia, the Spirits, or the Princess.
