⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Danica Graves

Location: Deep In The Alleyways To The East
Interacting With: Her Own Thoughts

Danica had slipped back through the alleyway and continued; she wouldn't consider what she was doing right then part of her run. A slight jog maybe but she was just moving from place to place; getting a feel for the street below her feet and looking up at the places she could plot out as her path above her. Where she could climb, where she could jump. For her it was important to know which places were best before she attempted anything. Climbing the city to her as climbing in the mountains. You had to take everything into consideration, plan out your course, and have plenty of back up. Something could go wrong at anytime and you needed multiple escape plans.

It was one of the things about her that had kept her alive and going over the years. She thought back to the years before, how many times a cliff could have been the end of her if she hadn't taken ever precaution out there and then some. How one time when she had leapt before thinking had nearly been the end of her. She doubted another loss could be handled in the little circle she called family. The sun wasn't setting just yet and until the long shadows of the city began to stretch over it would be safe enough, though thinking on it now she already regretted not bringing something to defend herself with.

There were unkindly sorts already starting to crawl out of the woodwork like cockroaches but she had been lucky enough to live in the city for a time now and had spotted some of these before. She didn't carry really anything of value and even her phone was too outdated to really get anyone's attention. She just wasn't worth the effort for a basic mugging and the degenerates that were after flesh instead of currency wouldn't be out until after dark. Even if Justice was anything but a little hamlet and crime ran rampant, some things still took place in the shadows and right now there just weren't enough shadows. Hopefully she would make it back to the block party before there were. She needed to pick up the pace.

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: The Block Party
Interacting With: @Sigil @POOHEAD189

Alicia looked over the tray of food her father had brought and smirked at Lawson's reaction to them before she shrugged and picked one up, taking a large bite out it. She stood there for a minute and smiled slightly, they weren't bad. Granted she was not reacting to the heat in them the way the cowboy was. She was used to her fathers cooking and her own; which usually meant drowning something in peppers if you had nothing else around. Her mouth was pretty much set to take on a nuke at this point in her life. "Aye, not bad Papi."

Giving her dad a thumbs up as she finished chewing the rest of the ice cream concoction before it melted all over her hands. When he mentioned the landlord she rolled her eyes a bit. "Oh yeah, so happy. We weren't expecting him so quick papi. He nearly got a round to the head and a knife to the back from Cookie and me when he came waltzing in as we were getting cleaned up," she said with a cheshire grin playing on her lips. She doubted her father would be surprised, he had taught her to keep weapons close and to use them without regret or hesitation since she was small. Hell, the man might even be proud that his two girls were ready to take someone down even in the middle of getting dolled up; well as dolled up as they tended to get.

"Right, they are pretty much ready. We just gotta stick them in the oven for a little bit. Didn't figure you would have a dish to bring, so I went ahead and covered for you. Looks like that was a waste of time," she said as she elbowed him slightly in the side.

Alicia bent over and picked up two beer, popping the caps on each of them and tossing the caps into the trash over my Lawson's smoker before holding one out to her Papi and taking a sip from the other. At his word about "Smokey goodness" she ended up spitting her beer out to her side and was just glad it hadn't landed on anyone as she looked back over to her father wide eyed. Had the man really just cracked a joke? She just stood there in shock for a moment, trying to keep the snorting laughter to a minimal as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and shoved the bottle she had retrieved for him into his hand.

"Holy fuck Papi! No mames!" she chuckled as she shook her head. The man was an oddity to say the least but she loved him. Letting out a long breath she pointed over to an open table. "Yeah, drop them off over there Papi, then we can go get the rest out of the mine and Cookies place."

Looking over as Tank came up with his bike she nodded slightly. "Aye, down here," she said as she wandered over to the steps that led down to her and Cookies little front patio. They really didn't use it and kept it clear so she figured she could play nice for now and let him park it there. She knew Caesar would have his front area full with his own right then. It was a block party, time to be all neighborly and such. "Just stash it down there. Should be fine for the party.
@Caits You can try - I'll have to roll after the post to see if it catches - the entire part of the state you all are in went through some rain and a tornado tore through that area just a few hours ago - so chances are not well that anything would light right now being damp and such - especially being Ga. (Though honestly, since there are now Walkers about you all - might not to waste the time. ) ~crosses fingers this goes through without double posting it~

Astrid Hansen

Astrid nodded towards Bridgette, the last thing she wanted to do was get caught by a hoard of Chompers. That would just be poor planning and a death that was asked for instead of fought against. Kicking her heels into the flanks of Edgar, she edged him on at a quicker pace. Even though he was pulling a cart, it didn't make much of a difference in the amount of effort he had to put in. Having a draft horse sucked because of the temperatures in the sweltering state of Georgia but when it came to an animal that could haul heavy items he was perfect and thankfully the cart they were hauling behind them was not some crap piece they had found along the way. It was from the fair grounds and had held up well with minor repairs over the last year. Something about old world craftsmanship just lasted longer than the modern world bull shit.

As they crested the hill Astra noted a new figure on the horizon. "Looks like we have a live on. Do we bother to warn her or just keep trucking?" she asked as she continued on as if her only concern was the hoard behind them. If there was one out there, there could be others. Decoys were not an uncommon thing in this day and age and women were usually slated to be bait. People were still more likely to help a woman than they were a man; granted most people were not Astrid and Bridgette. While they were looking for a new home or people to see if they could rebuild their old one, they were anything but naive and they were fiercely loyal to each other above and beyond all else.

Then she saw two more on the road and Astrid rolled her eyes a bit. "Two more, seems like there is a little party going on around here. They're gonna end up as a meal for the dead if they don't pick up their pace." Astrid groaned, three new people, two different areas of the street, a hoard coming up from behind and now there were stray walkers coming in behind all three woman.

"Fodder or do we do the right thing and help?"

Zoie Crawford

Interacting With: Ms. Sally @Sigil

"Ain't no problem at all Mr. James. Glad to and don't you be apologizing for the way yous eats. Been a long day, hopefully Ms. Sally and I can gets some real food in everyone's belly's once thangs calm down a bit more. Looks to be like things be wrappin' up right quick," she said as she crouched down and took the water from Jame. Taking a quick sip she sighed slightly while she handed it back over to him.

"Oh, I guess you be meanin' that Archer girl that gots bit? She alive. Froggy had's to take her arm right below the shoulder. He got her patched up as best as he could. She be resting now with the other girl, I think it be her sister but nots sure. Not been introduced yet. But don't you be frettin' none, if anyone's can save her it be old Froggy. He be a damn good surgeon," she said before she heard her name get called out from down downstairs, peeking down the ladder she looked around and spotted Ms. Sally.

"Ma'am?" she called down.

"Can you come back down, Ash is needing to speak with you," Ms Sally called up. Zoie gave a quick nod before turning back to look at James.

"I best be haulin' butt; seems boss be lookin' fer me. I'll bring ya up some food once we get its together," she said before heading back down and adjusting her back on her shoulder as she scanned the crowd of people looking for Ash. Once she spotted him she basically skipped over to him. She was beaten up pretty badly but she had cleaned up and was in scrubs now; handing out the last bits of food and water she had before she finally managed to get through the crowd over to him.

"Ms. Sally says yousa be lookin' fer me boss, what's up?"

Kyra Altham

Location: Gorlf Northern Territory
Interacting With: @Charnobylisk @Lucius Cypher

Kyra looked around the room a bit, there wasn't much in the way of stores, just left over things that were scattered about. Looked like the place had been cleared out rather quickly; maybe because of the war the stores that were normally kept there. Taking off her cloak she hung it up on a nail near where the hearth was located and got to work on trying to start a fire for the evening. She was soaked and so was her new counter part; by the time the rest of the group caught up with them she knew they would be as well. It was going to be a long day and night it seemed but at least the weather was not getting any worse even if it wasn't getting any better at that point. Oh well, it was just that time of year in the Gorlf Northern Territory from what she had gathered from her research before coming to these parts. It would stay this way, off and on, until the cold fully set in and then the rain would just change to snow. For her, she would rather deal with the cold than the wet but she wasn't an elementalist. There was nothing she could do to change it.

Grabbing some of the wood that was inside she tossed it into the hearth, arranging the split pieces so they would burn but burn slow. There was not a lot so she needed to make it last at least long enough for people to be able to warm up and get dry. As she was informed that there was someone there and she heard the knock at the door she nodded, keeping quiet as her hand fell to her blade. While the place was great to get dry at, places like this tended to draw attention by anyone else that wanted the same thing.

Kyra stopped worrying about the fire for now and waited for Valona to return. Once she had she listened to what the dual personality woman had to say and nodded. "Oh well better to see what is going on instead of letting them remain outside and ambush the others I am waiting on," she said quietly.

Stepping over to the door she did not draw her weapon as of yet, but did keep a hand on the hilt of her blade. Slowly she opened the door and peaked her head outside. "Can I help you?" she said as she stood in the doorway instead of hiding behind it; she wanted to ensure that who ever it was saw that she was armed and wasn't going to be intimidated right off the bat.

Considering the man sitting across from her didn't bolt at her first words Clem sat there for a moment in silence and took a sip of her wine. Setting it back down on the table she ran her finger over the rim of the glass as she contemplated what to say next before starting up again.

"Well you didn't run, I suppose that is a good sign. Though I might just have caused you to freeze. You know they say that the human condition gives us two responses to confrontation. Those two being either fight or flight. What many fail to realise is there is a third response. Freeze. Hope that isn't the case here granted if it is it could prove to be interesting. Would mean you are just stuck there and I can continue to make you feel uncomfortable if that is the case," she said with a slight chuckle and in a playful manner. Granted while she was teasing she was being as serious as a heart attack at the same time. When people froze on her show she milked it for all it was worth, it was what she was paid to do.

"Hrm, I guess I could run down the usual boring facts. Where I attended college; Harvard. What I majored in; Law. What my favorite color is; black. If I have been married; Yes. Currently divorced. Ex husband was a client of mine I was hired to defend for my first case; he was a television producer. Apparently liked my moxy; granted that was a word I was unaware people still used outside of a 1950's reference. Helped launch my career but after he joined the Church of Scientology... Well let us just say things went down hill fast. We still work together, easier to divorce a spouse than it is to divorce a producer and manager. Mores the pity. So he will just have to put up with my words on his life choice until he decides to let me out of the contract. Freedom of choice and such does not mean freedom from ridicule. People tend to confuse this far too often."

Tilting her head to the side she checked her watch for the time, they were about half way done, she figured she should bite her tongue for now and see what all he wanted to say either in rebuttal or how much he actually changed the subject from this point on. "And what about you?"
