⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Okay - things are clear for now - well still raining but no more orcs for a bit. Those with the caravan - just follow Keystones lead for now - Sigil has the details of what will and won't work - so I won't be doing another Update post until we really need it.

Over in the Building - I will try to get an update for sometime today - been hammering out posts left and right to try to cover everything before I leave for Memorial Day Weekend Party this afternoon, and answering pm's. I don't know if I will get to that tonight. If not I will post it tomorrow.

Congratulations Inner Wall Newnan! All the Edenites are dead, minus the one Froggy is keeping an eye on, and all the Walkers within the Inner wall have been taken care of. You are in safe time right now! So get the place cleaned up as best you can, meet up at the courthouse to figure out what to do from there. We have new people to get rooms assigned to, we have people who need to get cleaned up and we have a lot of folks that are fucking starving. You are out of LLA's wrath for now. Enjoy the brief moment of peace.

Oh, about Maria... the plasma is helping but you better start asking people to line up for donations of blood. She needs her own type if her chances for survival are going to improve.

Okay, newbies. Welcome to hell. Over at Westside Baptist church, you are hearing something stir up against the back door of the church. You will want to get out of there quickly; that door isn't going to hold long and it sounds like more than just a couple of Walkers. Front exit if your best bet. Once you are outside you will see off in the distance to the south two women on horseback but you will also hear a lot of groaning and moaning - but you can't tell where it is coming from. Only thing you can tell for sure is that some of it is coming from behind the church. Book it bitches.

Valks - That hoard is about 25 minutes of shambling from you and you now see Agnes up on the road in the direction of the school. You need to move quick if you hope to get out of harms way before shit gets too heavy.

Agnes - That sound is getting louder and you are slowly being able to tell that it is coming from the south. Question is, do you risk heading back from where you came where you are now hearing even more groans coming from within the school or do you chance talking to the badass bitches on horseback?

Zoie Crawford

Location: Courthouse - The Streets
Interacting With: Ms. Sally @Sigil

Zoie headed back out to the main area of the courthouse and found Ms. Sally quickly enough. Sally was helping people get situated, checking who was hurt and who could wait. Most everyone was alright, just scared. A couple were in need of stitches. Sally asked Zoie if she could take them back to the O.R. to see Vivian. Zoie bit her bottom lip slightly, was that the woman that Froggy had tried to save? She didn't mention it yet, figured they would find out soon enough.

"Froggy, gots you some patients that need a bit of stitching," she yelled through the barricaded door after giving it a few hits with the side of her fist. "You just be waiting here, ol' Froggy in there have you fixed up right quick."

"Zoie, can you come here dear?" Ms. Sally called out.

"Comin' Ms. Sally!" she said before leaving the couple at the door of the OR for Froggy to attend and heading back over to Sally. "What's can I do fer ya Ms. Sally?"

"People are a little shook up but I need some more water and some food for them. Can you head to the Mess Hall and wheel back somethings?" Sally asked.

"I be happy to Ms. Sally, um, where it be?" she asked and Sally smiled as she pointed out of the window to the building across the street next to the armory. "Right, let me just be slipping on me boots and grab a knife and I be right back," she said slipping away and back to where Richard was resting.

She entered the room quietly as to not disturb him, grabbing her shoes and her bag quickly before sliding back out of the room and closing the door lightly behind her. She didn't know if he was sleeping or not but she knew he needed his rest. Leaning against the hallway wall she shoved her feet into her boots and slung her pack over her back. Making her way out of the courthouse she looked around the streets and grimaced a little bit. The town had been through a lot it seemed. Time to get things cleaned up.

Over in the Mess Hall she was able to find a cart; piling it up with easy to move things like granola bars, fruit cups, nuts. The food supply was low but at least the water supply was decent. Plenty of bottled water. Loading up what she could she pushed the cart back over to the courthouse and to Ms. Sally.

"Aww, thank you dear. This will help a lot," Sally said grateful she wasn't the one that had to walk through the streets right then. Zoie nodded and loaded up some of the food and water into her pack.

"Yousa take care of them in here, I'll take care of those in other parts of the court house," Zoie said with a smile before she turned on her heel and made her way up the stairs and to the bell tower.

"Mr. James, be Zoie. I gots somethang's for ya," she said before popping her head up for him to see her and then climbing up next to him and pulling out some jerky and a bottle of water; holding it out for him to take. "Ms. Sally be wantin' everyone to have some water and get somethan' in their bellies. Figured you wouldn't mind if I popped up here to drop it off."

Cynthia McMillan

Location: The Gym
Interacting With:@Salrynn @Nallore

Cynthia was like a kid in a candy store right then. People were being nice to her and she was being nice to them, granted she was being weird and crazy but that was just how the girl was right then.

"Yes, drinks, we can't get parched. Like you even know what parched means. Hey, it means, well parched. Riiight... Okay, we need drinks, we need food. They covered that already. Ooo, how about a flashlight? Why do we need a flashlight? So we can tell spooky stories! Why the fuck would we want to tell spooky stories? Why not? Oh I don't know, someone got killed today! Well that isn't spooky. Oh it isn't. No, death isn't spooky. Did you not listen to Marc? Yeah, why? Same type of set up as Simone. Oh that is spooky. Ya think? Okay, no Flashlights. How about some Dvd's? Movies? Movies! What movies? Firestarter? What the fuck is wrong with you woman? A lot." Cynthia continued to argue with herself and even ended up causing herself to facepalm herself.

Eventually she went quiet and started mumbling about stars as she saw someone come into the gym and then quickly looked over towards Riley and smiled before looking over at Hye. "Yup yup, ready to go. Are we? Well what do we need? Pajama's? Oh, those. Yeah those. Hye, got some I can borrow? Like she will let you borrow her jammies. Why wouldn't she? Well what will she wear if you are wearing hers? I dunno, Jae's shirt? And what will Jae wear? Guy's don't need shirts. ......."

@Charnobylisk @Salrynn @Nallore

Tim rolled up to the high school and let out a frustrated breath as he stepped out of his patrol car. He slammed the door behind him as he looked towards the gym. In the last little while it had become more than evident that more was going on than a single murder and he really needed Marc's help on this. His staff was stretched thin at this point and things only seemed to be getting worse. Two more officers pulled up and got out of their vehicles, heading over towards the soccer fields. They had had a call from Mr. Black that they needed to get out there as quickly as possible. Normally they would have brushed it off that he was just high and seeing things but the tone of his voice was actually serious; none of them ever remembered the man being serious in his entire life.

Time sighed as he made his way towards the gym, pushing the doors open and looking around. Things seemed calm right then inside, everyone was talking, drinking, laughing even. He spotted Ashley and Marc over against the wall laughing their proverbial asses off and had to wonder what was so funny but he really wasn't in the mood to laugh. Taking a deep breath he pushed through the crowd, giving a quaint nod and hello to his former class mates before he finally was able to get to Marc.

"Marc, we have a problem..."

Marc slowly contained his laughter as he heard the tone in Tim's voice and straightened up. Tim slowly handed over several manila folders to him. Marc took the folders and leaned back against the wall as he went through them. The pictures that were inside caused him to quickly close the folder before anyone else could see what was within them. Tucking them under his arm he looked at Ash and it was clear in his eyes he was worried.

"Notice anything Marc?"

"Yeah, I do. Two of them were here earlier," he muttered under his breath as he took Ashley by the arm. "Baby, you need to come with me," he said in a stern voice before he lead her out of the gym; Tim following closely behind the pair as they made their way back out of the gym and over to the picnic tables. Marc motioned for Ashley to take a seat before looking back over to Tim.

"We are working as quickly as we can but I just don't have the man power for something like this," Tim admitted as he took his sheriffs hat off and ran his hand through his hair. Marc nodded and held up a finger before turning his attention back to Ashley.

"Ash, take a breath okay? Remember Val? They found her, like Jessica and Simone. She was in your dress from prom," he said quietly. Tim perked a brow.

"How did you know it was Ashley's dress?"

"Something's you never forget," he said before handing the files back over to Tim. "Go inside and find out whose dress was on Jewell."

"And the Tux?" he asked as he looked back at the files and looked over another body, the first male to be caught up in this.

"That was mine..."

"Oh..." Time said before giving a quick nod and heading back inside. Seeing Cynthia with the other girls he made a bee line for them. "Hey everyone, listen. Did any of you wear a blue dress to prom?" he asked.

Back outside Marc sighed as he slipped next to Ashley and wrapped his arms around her. "Ash... Atlas is dead," he said remorsefully. Sure he didn't like the man and felt he was never worth Ashley's time but he didn't think he needed to be murdered.

Time/Date: Early Evening/August 1st, 2016

"Top of the evenin' to ya Alc," Claire said with a quick wave and then began to fan herself. Is it always this fuckin' hot here? Christ on a cracker, I feel like I am going to melt!"

Claire perked a brow at the scream but shrugged it off as Murphy went to take care of it. Wasn't any of her concern; long as they got out of the heat soon she didn't care if someone got murdered right then. Claire just stood there looking around as Desh came over and then shot a look over towards Cass as he said he was the hotel manager. She was about to say something when Cass laid into the man and nearly toppled over laughing, leaning against Cass as she did and gripping her friends arm to stay standing.

Desh looked at Cass wide-eyed and nodded. "You have no worries what so ever, this hotel is just in the middle of a magnanimous change. Like when a caterpillar emerges from a cocoon to spread his wings as a beautiful butterfly, so will the Best Exotic Hotel! Desh exclaimed.

"Man has more wind in him than a set of bagpipes," Claire chirped under her breath as she looked back over to Cass. This was going to be a long stay.

Murphy McManus

Murphy couldn't help but chuckle as Areum opened the door and tried to cover up her scream. He just shook his head slightly. "Aww, Lass, I didn't hear a thing! Just wanted to make sure you were ready to go. We have a couple of new people joining us. Come on, want ya to meet me little sis!" he said happily as he held his arm out for her. He wasn't about to rag her about the yelp he heard. Some people he teased without worry but Areum was different; she seemed a little more delicate than the rest of the folks around and Murphy, while a prankster, was anything but a cruel person.

Once she took his arm he lead her back out of the court yard where Claire, Cass, Alc, and Desh were waiting; giving them all a little wave. "Well, got our last little body for tonight. Areum, this be me sister Claire and her friend Cass. Came out to visit ol' Murph. Girls, this be me language partner out here Areum," he said introducing them.

"Hey, nice to meet ya," Claire said as she gave a rather enthusiastic wave. "So, where we be goin' and how we be gettin' there?" Claire asked, wanting to get the hell out of the heat as quickly as possible.

"Little place called 100% Rock in the Shikha hotel," Murphy said before looking around and taking a head count. He couldn't exactly fit everyone on his motorcycle.

"Not to worry my wondrous guests, we will take the hotels grand mini bus! Come, come! I will whisk you away in the lap of luxury across the city to sites unseen by many of you and we shall have the most glorious experience of your visit yet!" Desh quickly said as he led everyone out to the parking lot. The bus was like the hotel. Looked like it might collapse at any moment. Murphy just rolled his eyes slightly as Desh climbed into the driver seat. This was going to get interesting. Climbing into the back he patted the seat on either side of him lightly.

"Come on girls! Let's get our Hail Mary's on and hope we make it alive," he laughed. Claire groaned as she looked at the Bus before slipping in and sitting down next to her brother.

"If I die, I be haunting your ass," she grumbled under her breath towards Murphy.

@Caits If you can't, tag Sigil or me and we can see what we can do about taking a screen shot for you.
@Fabricant451 LMAO, that was awesome!
Once Char posts our colab, I will follow up with a Cyn post and move time forward a bit with some more information on the murders.
@Charnobylisk @Caits @Sigil @Nallore @Aewin

Okay once Char and I finish our colab, I will do a WN - pay special attention to the locations I gave out in the PM (remember to check the map on google for the layout of the area and the colab with Sigil and I did - both will give you a lot of information about the layout of the area and what you all are about to be dealing with.
@Salrynn Know you have been a bit swamped as of later but we are waiting on you to post before we can do anything else.

The life of the party is the beat that comes from the music and the voices of the people attending. Those of you that have arrived are seeing many of your neighbors now. Some you may know others you may not. Boston Heights is the name of the three buildings which your main characters reside but a block party is not only for those that live in a particular set of buildings but all those around. The are people from down the street some and around the corner. The promise of music, free food and free booze is a strong enticer for those in a city which has little to be happy about these days.

Other than your main characters actions and mingling there are a few other things going down other than the sun which promises to set soon. Some of you might be welcoming to the night air when it finally arrives; the heat off the tarmac and the buildings keeping it there is not the most pleasant. But it is still some time yet before the sun says goodbye and the moon makes its evening appearance. The shadows are growing long and the light is still bright; if you look to the north the suns light can be almost blinding as it wedges itself through the buildings and seems to paint lines or yellow, orange, and red along the street where you are.

@Kingfisher Shadows can provide some comfort but do you really want to venture into them? Even with the frivolity of the party there are still other things happening. A couple of kids are off to the west in the edge of the alleyway across the street from the main Boston Heights buildings. Seems a drug deal is going down but those of you wise to such things know something is amiss. This is Jez's home turf. One does not simply start dealing in underworld items on someone elses turf. Jez, how will you handle this once you are dropped off from the cab? You probably can't wait to get away from the driver, he is talking a mile a minute about nothing and refuses to shut the hell up. By the time you get to the party you might be on your last nerve and these punks; if you chose to see them, will be getting on it. Time to make a choice; keep it quiet and ignore it to keep things calm at the party or to keep others from being drawn in, go ahead and make a ruckus and damn the consequences, or C - try to start a transaction and take it deeper into the alleyway so you can handle this without other witnesses; hopefully. (PM me for details)

@Nallore @Morose Ack, the block party has the road closed down; you aren't getting anywhere in your car. Even if you could get out you won't be getting back in until after everything is over. Better walk. Unless you have a two seater bicycle somewhere. We know what is south - construction, diners, and such. West is the alleyway. North is the park. Now there is a little place you could pick up a few things; a little family run bodega that is one block north and two east. Wouldn't take long for you to get there on foot and would keep you out of the main crowds. (Joint pm me when you pick a direction for details)

@Dragoknighte Mali did her good deed for the day, it will probably count as the only good deed done in the city all day. The two punks are not going to be causing an issue for the rest of the day and the kid you saved is slowly looking around; kind of shocked that his beating suddenly ceased. His glasses are broken and his face bloodied but he looks relieved as he finally looks up at you. If he wasn't afraid that you were going to kick his ass as well he might actually hug you. Slowly he stands up, very slowly. Holding his ribs with one hand and other trying to adjust his cracked lens glasses to sit properly on his busted nose. "Holy shoot fudge," he exclaims as he looks at the damage Mali did to the pair. Did he really just say shoot fudge? One of the guys stir a bit, he might actually wake up soon and this seems to drive the fear right back into the kid. He pulls out a little card from his pocket and shoves it in your hand. "You need anything, call," is all he says before he darts out of the alleyway and runs off into the crowd on the street. He isn't staying around for a round two if it happens. The card is basic enough, just a number on the back of it and a few words on the front - Relic; for your emergency needs. Emergency? What could that kid help with when it comes to an emergency? Seems odd but this is Justice, pocket the card and get to the party. It's getting late.

@Scallop @POOHEAD189 @Sigil @DizzyIsabella @Charnobylisk @Xtreme - The food and drink tables are filling up fast. Lawson is returning waves and hello's from you all that he hasn't already and starting to load up trays of food from the smoker. Lawson smiles over to Lorna and hands her over a rib dripping in sauce. "I promise it tastes as good as it smells. Nothin' like Carolina BBQ. Other places say they got the secret but nothin' quite tickles my fancy like this does. Sweetness of the south and a bit of kick to it. Could expect none less from the great state that produces our finest Marines; Hoorah!" he said with a quiet chuckle before going back and piling up more and toting it over to the table by the smoker.

Some reporters are still hanging around at the edge of the barricades. It seems they are prepping for the late night news, a follow up for the city to see that things are going great instead of horrible like they were months ago. On the edge of the barricade are others that are just observing. The whole thing could feel like you are in the middle of a petting zoo if you paid too much attention to it; but let them look. That is how things go down around here. You are either a instigator, a victim, or one of the many drones that just watch and see nothing. Well you see plenty but opening your mouth can be a death sentence. Really want to risk that when you have food to eat, drinks to down, and your groove to get on.
