⚘ A Brief History ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.
Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.
⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.
Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Well this just kept getting better and better. Kyra's eyes darted from one movement to the next, taking in what she could see from her vantage point up in the trees outside of the wall. It was a good position for a Ranger. High, out of the way and decently clear. She watched her teammates within the wall and the clusterfuck of activity that was springing up outside of the wall. Sana was going down, there was no doubt about it at this point, she had seen hypothermia take over her friend once before. It wasn't pretty but there was nothing she could do right then about it. She had seen Sana's spell before and knew that now that she could no longer sing it would no longer help to hold the wall strong. Granted several feet thick of ice was pretty damn strong on its own or so she would think but again there were more pressing matters. Life of many versus the life of one type of thing; fucking pointy eared mentality.
Now, what could she do, what could she do? There were freaking skelly's coming out of the woods - again. And they were aiming to blow up - again. Now, how many dead would rise? Freaking regular skeleton's were a large enough annoyance, blowing up ones even more aggravating, orc ones? Would there be? Fucking hell, she hated dealing with this shit. Well, what do to? Only thing that the ranger could do, try to be Robin Hood. Drawing two arrows she pulled the asinine move of ripping the side feather off one between her teeth; knocking them both back and hoping to whatever god was obviously not paying attention right then that she could pull off one hell of a shot. She took aim, lined it up, drew the string back, and let them loose. One had to hit, maybe two, would she be lucky enough for the arrows to pull what her last round had and take out more than one each? Only time would tell but right then she was just making sure to keep her balance on the frosted limb of the tree.
Ash stayed below, the ice wall just cutting off his access to the tree which Kyra was perched in. Cut off from the one that raised him was not sitting well with ol' poochy. Yet he could do one thing, protect the only other one he didn't mind ruffling his fur. Growling through his jowls his claws gripped at the icy ground as he tried to pad his way over towards Sana. He'd stay by her at least until that wall came tumbling down; then, who knows.
Alright my illustrious peeps, this is where we stand currently - We have 8 characters to start - Not bad!
Millicent Wyndham (Lady A) Virginia Crypt (Morose) Jeanette Crane (Rivaan) Fyror Kildragon (mnkee) Mary Hail (Sigil) Gerard Connolly (Sputnik) Jaques Clerc (Lauder) Nathan Darcy (Pundii)
Now, currently - Only Millicent and Jeanette are good to go to start the RP. (They have the minimal NonNPC relations worked out or more)
Virginia and Fyror both need 1 more apiece to begin.
Mary, Gerard, Jaques, and Nathan all need 2 more. (Though pretty sure some of you have something worked out you just haven't had a chance to post it yet)
Now remember, have to have those up before your character is cleared to start once the IC goes up. Sooner those are done the sooner we begin. We are aiming to start by Monday. Tag me once those are up ^_^

And on that note - he is good to go, move him on over to the Cs tab, then go ahead with the NPC relations tied to the CS and pm those you want to work out for PC relations
@Dragoknighte Nah, no LLA for this time skip, that comes later. Granted the rolls could determine that LLA rolls would be needed sooner but yeah - not pulling out anything other than randomization to see who gets what done when during the time skip is all.
1) I have updated the approved character list on the original OOC post. 2) I have also updated the music listing to include all approved characters themes to the play list. 3) Make sure to get those relations done for your NPC's if you haven't already. 4) Once you have your relations to a point you think you are good to go - tag me so I can mark you ready to start the RP. 5) I am hoping to start this RP by Monday, if you are not ready by then, don't worry. (Those that have Rped with me before know I can work in characters at any point) 6) If you do not already have the "RP Tavern" Chat Room link - PM me for it.
Okay peeps, things are pretty set up now. Alliance is coming for the Brown Coats - Who is ready for a time jump or is there anyone that wants to hold off for now? Let me know, cause it feels like we are at a good spot to start the time jump and me getting to the rolls to see if the repairs are done in time, if the Retribution gets there before Vengeance can leave, or if the Reavers show up to cause some major issues.
