⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Natasha's eyes fluttered at the sound, opening slowly before her head turned. Looking around and spotting Lincoln standing there. A smile, even though weak, crept across her features. "You really should head back to home and get some rest," she said softly. She knew he would say no, that he was staying right there to keep an eye on her. She had to give him a damn good reason to leave her side. A thought crossed her mind and she reached up slowly, pinching her nose.

"You need a bath," she laughed softly before letting her hand fall back to the sheets. A knock came to the door and Tasha looked over as it creaked open slowly. It was Murphy, Claire, and perhaps another visitor.

"Morning Beautiful," Murphy said as he saw she was awake, giving a nod to Lincoln as he stepped in and held out a large stuffed bear. "Figured ya needed something better to cuddle with than that bony bloke," he chuckled as he walked over to her and handed it off. Clair came in with a bunch of balloons in one hand and in another just a single balloon that was half deflated.

"Thought you needed a pick me up," Claire squealed, obviously having taken in half a balloons worth of helium. The chipmunk like voice made Tasha burst out laughing in a way she hadn't in a very long time.
Depends on exactly what I am going to do. A lot of the Rp's I run are based in area's that actually exist and I try to retain a lot of that feeling and era when doing that. Research, using the right street names for the time period, beliefs, customs, etc. Most larger or known cities, it is easy to find actual maps from most time periods. London you can find ones a thousand years old online and updates through out the centuries. The more modern areas, good maps helps a lot.

I also look up dress for the time era and place. Try to keep it looking that way with character creations. Same with how they speak. Looking up turns of phrases. Granted I usually get on a kick for something because I either watched something or read something. So I will use the original inspiration as reference.

Scooby Gang

Location: Grand Continental

Abbas grinned as he continued to rub his cheek. "Oh you know me, could never resist you," Abbas quipped. Aziza narrowed her eyes and connected with the other cheek with a balled up fist, sending him tumbling over the back of a chair and leaving him sprawled out on the floor.

"This... Pile of camel waste if Abbas Zien. Last time I saw him, he stole everything I had. Would have taken my clothing too if I hadn't threatened to circumcise him."

"Four play?"

It took Sgt. Walsh grabbing ahold of Aziza around the waist and pulling her back to keep her from clawing the mans eyes out.

"Get up, we are taking you to the police," Walsh said quickly as he kept one arm around Aziza's waist and his other free to point the gun at Abbas.

"Now, now, let's not get hasty. I just want to say hello to my old friend here before I leave this rotten country. Being hung for a necessary crime is just ludicrous," he said, still grinning. Reaching into his tattered pocket he pulled out pendant and held it out. The pendant in his hand has the same hieroglyphs on it as had happened to a couple of others that evening.

"For you my love."

On the street Peter nodded and lead Vera back to the car, making sure that Lauren was close behind them. Opening the door he let Lauren climb in first before helping Vera back into the car. She was still shaking like a leaf. He didn't like this one bit. "Let's go," he said to the driver once he was in. The car took off and quickly made it's way back to the barracks.

Elsewhere In The City

"Not exactly sure ma'am," the clerk said as he stepped out from behind the desk and headed over to the window. "Could mean many things. A crime, a fire, it's a general alert for the authorities I believe. I could be wrong, late hours make for poor memory."

"It sounds like they are coming from the main area in town near the Museum and that Grand Continental hotel. Someone breaks out of prison and now this? Must be him, it is a good thing you came back when you did Lady."

Over at the barracks the gate swung open as the car was driven back into the main court yard area. Opening the door Peter stepped out and whistled for a corporal. "Find quarters for Miss Ridgeway and.." he started but was cut off.

"We do not house civilians sir," some random officer quipped.

Peters eyes narrowed and he stood up straighter than he had before, taking a step closer to the man. "I am the Lord Captain Peter Keystone, nephew to your Lord Major. This is Lady Munn, the Countess in his majesties court! You would dare deny housing to a blood relation of the king?!" he said in a cold tone that felt like nails being dragged over iron.

The man went white.... "I am sorry sir, I had no idea. Yes, of course, right again. Well you heard the Lord Captain! Get moving you trench rats!"

Kyra & Sana

Location: One wet world
Interacting With: In General
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Sana took a deep breath and looked over at Keystone before nodding. He was right in his feeling, she was acting with alarm and she was not near strong enough to get up on her horse herself. Seeing the lack of strength in the gypsy worried Kyra. Sana let go of Epona and leaned against Keystone, he was better able to help her stay on her feet than her horse was. Now this really worried Kyra, Sana was not only accepting help but wordlessly asking for it. That wasn't like the woman.

"Sana, what in the hell is going on?" she finally asked.

"I'll explain once we are on our way," Sana replied, it took her longer than normal to get the words out and her voice was gravely rough when she spoke. Kyra nodded and looked over towards Cyneberg and Njat as they came out and informed them of a few things.

"Right, let's get Epona hooked up to the wagon. Then Sana can rest in the back," she said before heading away from Keystone and Sana with Ash remaining at Sana's side. Hearing Thomas ask Njat about the other stamina potion Kyra gritted her teeth and took a deep breath, answering the question herself.

"No, this is a combination of bard trauma and something else. She needs rest. A couple of days and hopefully she will feel better," Kyra said before grabbing Epona's reins and leading her over to the wagon to begin hooking up the horse. "Alright, everyone pack up. We are moving soon as Sana is secure in the back of the wagon. I'll drive. Satilla, next to Sana to keep an eye on her. Rest walk and keep up. We want this to go as quickly as we can and we can't weigh Epona down more than is needed. Keystone, put her in the back please. Come on folks, we move out in five," Kyra said. She might not be an official leader of the group but she was taking charge.

"Let's get as much distance covered today as possible."

Three Days Ahead - In Salarn
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

To say the town was subdued right then was an understatement. People did not want to venture in the fields or anywhere outside of the wall that surrounded the town. Even within the wall, things were tense. The graveyard was avoided at all costs. The care taker had decided today was as good a day as any to waste in the tavern drowning his thoughts like most others were right then. Even the soldiers were starting to drink more heavily and a dark cloud seemed to hang heavy over the place.

Fenmal was usually very jovial, even after his little event of evacuating all his meals for the last thirty years on Cremise days ago it was expected he would be right as rain again the next day. He was, then the attack from the undead happened a few days ago. Since then he had not recovered. He had been the only one left in the town with magical abilities. Ones he normally left for entertainment purposes. Yet he had been left with no choice to go on the offensive to drive them back.

Now he sat behind his bar, on a stool and slowly passed out ale and mead to the customers. The kitchen prepared meals. The wenches who were usually smiling and bright had had it at this point. They were as gruff as a man coming off the field. Drunks during the day and morose thoughts did not make for enjoyable patrons. Most seemed to be drinking until they were sick and then drinking again. The girls were tired of cleaning up half digested alabaster chum.

One of said women spotted the motioning from Magnus and headed over to him. Her shoulders dropping in defeat before plastering at plain look on her face. A smile was not coming right then. "What can I get fer ya?" she asked coolly.

A couple of quick notes -

Ice has left the Rp, things are a bit too crazy for her right now. Hopefully we will see her again in another Rp in the future.

Sigil has stepped down as Co due to personal reasons.

Sana Rouen

Location: Building H - Kitchen -> Bathroom
Interacting With: Bryn

Sana wiped her chin from the liquid and grabbed a rag to clean up the spit that was now covering the refrigerator. Turning she finally noticed the trail of mud she was tracking behind her with every step. "God fucking damn it...." she muttered under her breath before tossing the rag back into the sick and kicking off her boots, leaving them in a single place as she started looking around for the mop and bucket in her socking feet.

Hearing Bryn her head spanned around and she rolled her eyes slightly. "Yeah I do and I hate coffee but when you see black in the pot you think for a moment that you may actually get a good jolt for the morning. It was a shock to the system. Like getting a banana shake when you ordered Vanilla. Sure, banana isn't bad but it is a rude awakening when it isn't what you thought," she said before slamming the bucket int the sink and turning the water on full blast. It hitting the bottom of the bucket and splashing up right down her chest.

"Mother fucker!" she screamed as her head fell back and she stared at the ceiling. Taking a moment she counted to ten and then started laughing, a little too forced and it sounded a little crazed but it was better than the yelling. "Ugh..." she added before shaking her head and looking back over to Bryn, stepping over to see what she was showing off finally. Looking at the card she gave half a nod, which was about as high a praise as Sana got these days.

"Nice, think they'll go on honeymoon so we don't have to look at their bubbling faces for a week or two?" she said with a smirk on her lips. It wasn't that she had anything against Jack but it was no secret that Sana did NOT like Tatiana and that she felt the woman was too damn happy all the time. Shaking off the comment with a wave of her hands she got to work on cleaning up her mess before hurling the bucket out the back door and into the snow. Just leaving it there she snatched up her boots and tossed them on the back porch before saying she was going to the showers. The last sound was her slamming the bathroom door.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: Building F - Bathroom -> Bedroom
Interacting With: An Orange Cat

Tatiana giggled to herself as she heard Jack. "Yes, I do like bad boys. Nov get out!" she teased back before hopping into the shower. She took her time, letting her muscles relax under the hot water. The day before she had spent extra time on her dances during her private time, wanting to get in as much of a work out as she possibly could since she knew she wouldn't get to today. Granted she knew she would get to dance at the reception but if Jack stepped on her toes she might not be able to dance for weeks.

Climbing out of the shower she wrapped a towel around her body and then one around her hair as she heard a scratching on the bathroom door. "Jack, that better not be you," she said giggling before cracking the door slowly. The resident mascot for Newnan meowed at her. Laughing she leaned down and scooped him up, nuzzling him softly as she carried him into the kitchen, digging out a can of tuna she had hoarded away for the guy. Opening it up she set the can on the counter and set the feline down to eat. "Eat up, need strength in cold veather," she said to the cat before heading into the bedroom to get her hair combed out. She had no idea how to wear it. Hopefully Meg would be able to help with that.

Over in another building Miss Sally was already up, sipping on a cup of tea between working on a cross stitch pattern she had been toiling over for months. Hearing a knock at her door the elder of Newnan rose from her place and walked over, opening the door and smiling brightly as she saw Jack. She was standing there in a long thick ruby shaded house coat and bunny slippers. (They had once belonged to another member of Newnan but after his passing she claimed them. No one argued with her.) "Jack, good morning you sweet boy. Are you ready to get married? Oh, how rude, come in, come in. Have some tea with me," she said as she skuttled back over to the table and threw a rag over her cross stitching. "You can't see yet."

Ryan O'Reliy

Location: Lagrange Street -> Building 4 (Repair Shop)
Interacting With: The Dick

Ryan caught a glimpse of out of the corner of his eye and change direction right quickly. Seeing Ceil he cocked a brow and shrugged his own coat off. Tossing it over the kids shoulders he grinned with the toothpick in his teeth. "Boy you need more meat on your bones if you are going to walk around like that," he commented before continuing on his way. Ryan was odd to most in Newnan and right now he was acting weirder than usual. He wasn't exactly a friend of the kids and often voiced how he wondered how in the hell the kid had survived this long but today he was being nice. Like actually nice. What the fuck was up with that?

Hurrying over towards the repair shop he hit a slick piece of ice and started to slid but he was an Irishman from New York so ice wasn't exactly new to him. Adjusting his torso he just went with the slide and moved over the ice grinning like a dumbass as he slid right into the repair shop and glanced around. Spotting Dick his grin widened. "Mornin' Sunshine," he said before stepping fully over to the man.

Pulling the tooth pick out of his mouth he leaned against one of the vehicles in the repair shop and crossed his arms over his chest. Under the coat he was only wearing a thin thermal but again he was from New York, this was pleasant weather compared to Winters up there. "Word is they are breaking out the booze for the reception." He knew Dick was constantly trying to get his hands on some of the stuff, maybe if he actually did the man would pass out before he caused a scene. Granted maybe he would cause a scene before he passed out. Either way it would be entertaining to Ryan. "So, you see Chloe this morning?"

The Front Gate

Jim nodded to confirm the order and motioned for them to open the gate. Thana lowered her hands slowly, pulling out her side arm, holding it up to see before tossing it into the pontoon boat. She followed that by pulling out her dagger and showing it before it followed suit and letting it land next to the service arm. Trudging through the snow towards the gate as it creaked open she spotted Jim coming down the stairs, still white as a sheet. The other man, Mike, stayed up on the top of the wall and kept an eye out.

Standing there in the snow she followed Jim over to a platform just off above the snow. Waiting for Ash to join them she glanced around and then called over to the man that introduced himself as Ash. Standing at attention she gave him a proper salute before pulling out her dog tags that hung around her neck and showed them to him. "As I done told your gate man here, I am Dr. Thana Martin. Lt. Commander U.S. Navy," she said in a typical tone fitting of introductions by those who had had a career in the military but the thickness of her accent couldn't be hidden under any formality.

"And if it be getting me by a fire, I gots some coffee. Be willin' to share," she added, her voice brightening a bit as she spoke. The thought of a warm spot sat very well with her right then.

"Um, ma'am, mind lowering that scarf of yours?" Jim asked her.

"Well, I done forgot me manners, sorry 'bout that," she added before adjusting her pack a bit and then reaching up and pulling the scarf down some and smiling warmly at the men. Jim elbowed Ash in the side a bit and pointed to her.

"See, told ya."

"What? I gots somethang on my face? You be looking at me like i just got mauled by a hog," Thana said confused. Turning as she heard the crunch of snow behind her. Her eyes fallin' on James her jaw went slack a bit. "Dog my cats...."
