If things get real bad and you have to resort to cannibalism remember: Vegans first, they are the closest thing to grass fed.

March didn't come in like a lion... It came in like a T-Rex with PMS, and hemorrhoids, wearing barbed wire undies....

⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@TechnoWizROK - Okies, you are on day 5 from the intro post WN I did, this means you have 2 days left to post. Once that counter reaches day 8, you will not be allowed to post and will be be removed from the RP. Dropping a reminder since this is your first time.
@Caits Well no rush, you are only on day 3 and have posted since my last. You are good for a few more days without worry. Plus if you need an extension just let me know with exams.
Okay, will be posting Monday - I would tomorrow but have a birthday party to host so won't be on much. My next post will be end of day. So anyone who isn't asleep, go ahead and fall asleep after my next post. If you are sleep, dream sequence time. ^_~ - Then day opener will come end of this next week coming up. Be ready, it will be a long post. I have a lot to cover.
>TMW someone calls your an ass and tells you to go fuck yourself over a year after you kick them from an rp

October 4th, 1924 - 8:00 A.M. Local Time

Barracks: The Steward knocked on Vera's door a short time later. Opening it she handed him a letter. It was in a thick stock envelope but unsealed. Vera knew the drill. The Steward opened it and gave it a once over before sliding it back into the envelope. "Could you deliver that to Lady Kingston in Garden City post haste please?" she asked before holding out some of her personal money. The man nodded and stuck the envelope in his pocket before turning down the tip and letting her know that breakfast for her and the rest of the guests was being served in officers area this morning. "Yes, of course. Thank you," she added before hurrying back into her room and freshening up for the morning. She didn't have a change of clothing but what she had on would do. She could always change later once she had breakfast and left for the museum. She had a lot of work to do and in the back of her mind she hoped enough to keep her busy and post-pone her talk with Peter just a little longer.

Aziza too knew the morning drill and as the knock came to her door, and to the rest of the guests, it didn't surprise her. Being informed breakfast was being served for them in the officers area. She had taken the time to freshen up as best she could and grabbed her bag before exiting her room. Her guard was waiting there and gave her a curt nod before escorting her down the stairs and to the officers part of the barracks. Leading her into the set up meal area on the back veranda that was overlooking the Nile. Food was laid out and several officers were already there filling their plates with the various local and British dishes. Sadly she didn't see anyone she knew so she opted to get a cup of what one man told her was Builders Tea. "Here you go love, have a biscuit with it. Best way to start a day if you aren't wantin' any bangers and mash," he said before wandering off to his table with several of his fellow officers. "Was half of that even English?" she asked herself as she looked at the cup of tea before her.

Peter entered the room and gave his uncle a warm hug. It felt good to be around him again, even with the dream he had had. "I think the heat here is already getting to me Uncle, I might ask for something to help me sleep more soundly tonight," he chuckled as he released his uncle from the embrace. The Steward coming up quickly behind him and letting them both know breakfast was being served before he headed out to make sure the letter from Lady Munn was delivered as requested. Peter nodded before took a seat in his uncle's room none the less. He waited for the door to close before he said anything else. "Please don't repeat this but I think the area and stories are mixing with my own past and giving me a case a shell shock dear uncle. The night was not pleasant."

Garden City: Neema had fixed a nice breakfast and tea for Nora before heading up towards the woman's room. Her son stopping her and asking her to deliver a letter that had been sent for Lady Kingston just a few moment prior. Taking the letter she rested it on the silver tray and made her way up the stairs, that was of course after telling her son what a handsome young man he was. He wasn't but hey mothers eyes are blind, or at least her tongue knows what to say when asking him to go out and collect some things for her he normally wouldn't do. The compliment was enough to get him moving. He was off shift now anyways and the door was being handled by his relief.

Upstairs Neema knocked on the door and waited with tray in hand, she hoped it wasn't too early for Lady Kingston. It wasn't early per-say but the poor girl had had troubles the day before and was up late. It wouldn't have surprised her if she was still resting but she knocked again and waited. The letter on the tray said the following - Dear Lady Kingston, I will be at the museum late today. Later than normal, could you meet me in my office at noon? I will have a light lunch delivered for us and we can continue our work. I hope to see you there, you are a welcome mind to speak with. I need logic right now, not hocus pocus. Sincerely, Lady Munn.

Egyptian Museum: The museum was quiet, the place not opening for another hour to the public. Yet even though it was quiet the staff was beginning to show up and do their morning routines. Daily morning cleaning was already underway, floors were cleaned, artifacts and cases dusted. The curator glad for the peace though he wondered why all the mess in Lady Munn's office, it was not like her. He had tried contacting her at her hotel this morning but apparently she had not stayed there the night before. A little worried he had put out word to find her, with everything that happened the night before in the city he hoped she was not caught up in it - or the cause of it because of her clumsiness.

Train Station: The train had arrived just a short time ago and people were started to depart from it. The station was crowded with people running this way and that. People off loading, people on loading. Taxi's were parked out front and there were many vendors there selling food, trinkets, maps, offering their services as translators and guides. It was a tourist trap and one had to be careful not to lose their wallet with all the street urchins running around and bumping into people. It was your usual morning in Cairo, minus the headlines - Murder at The Grand Continental: Escape Convict Captured: Two Suspects Still Loose - Apparently the local news paper had gotten wind of a story and they were running with it.

@rivaan Good to go, you can move her over to the CS tab - I will be giving you an entrance point in my next post.
@Nallore Yeah, go ahead.
In Mahz's Dev Journal 9 yrs ago Forum: News
@Mahz I have a suggestion for the player list page... thing? Maybe giving GMs a check box to click with the options:
Active
Inactive
Dropped

Which would then alter the page to reflect that for the player.

Maybe a kicked one as well, granted if that was added it would be nice if Gm's had a "kicked" list to make it easier to keep up with through out all their rp's instead of having to keep a separate one.

Kyra

Location: Cross Swords Tavern
Interacting With: Satilla, Nor
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

As Nor started to head over towards the table Ash lifted his head from his paws and eyed him for a moment before standing. Ash kept looking, his head bumping against Kyra's elbow as she looked over the scrolls in front of her. Her eyes coming up and looking over the top of the parchment. Seeing nor there she cocked a brow and then glanced down towards Ash, waiting to see if her pet did anything. He did alright. He yawned, laid back down and crawled under the table to rest his head on Kyra's feet. Shaking her head she leaned back in her chair and listened to Nor's little introductory speech.

Did she have a sign on her face that said 'Hey come talk to me I'm friendly?' today? She had to wonder since her resting bitch face was usually more than enough to keep most at bay from her. So he wanted into the club? What club was that? then it dawned on her, her attitude the last few days was more explosive than Sana skull fucking someone with an arrow. Granted she had had reason for that, people were acting as if all their talk wasn't painting a red target on their backs. That combined with nearly loosing Sana had set off a domino effect of emotions that Kyra was not used to dealing with.

That was yesterday, this was today. Today, even though she hadn't gotten much sleep, she was more like her normal self. Sana seemed to be healing from what she could tell before she stormed off last night and what she had gotten from Femnal this morning the Gypsy had been taken to bed by Keystone: neither had been seen leaving the room since. This gave her a sense of calm to know Sana seemed to be okay but she had to wonder just what in the hell the woman was thinking going to bed with the hulking monstrosity. Anywho, she was more like herself. Still a bitch, but not as snappy so she didn't automatically tell the dwarf to go shove his axe up his own rear; followed by a sit and spin. Twirling her quill between her hands she took a long breath.

"Well least you're upfront about it, so I'll return the favor. This is a non payment venture. One of those good deeds things. Town isn't paying us, there's been no talk of treasure. We are just trying to figure out what is going on and stop it. If we figure it out, might there be payment or treasure? No idea but ain't counting on it," she told him in a cool tone. It was the truth. She could easily pack up and be none the worse for it but Kyra had lost things in the past so she had a soft spot for situations like these. She also had some hard spots.

Hearing Satilla her focused turned to the healer of the group. "Morning, get a decent nights sleep?" she asked in a bit more chipper voice than she had used with Nor. Satilla was one of the few she actually trusted. The girl was coming into her own and seemed to understand things better than others around. That and she had helped save Sana. In her book that meant she owed the young healer at least some courtesy.
