The dressmaker nodded and grabbed her scissors before cutting away part of the fabric surrounding the injury. She didn't want to rip them even though a quick rip she could easily repair. The ripping might jostle the woman and make the injury even worse. For all she knew there was a bullet lodged in the muscle. Grabbing a cloth and wetting with with some water from her glass she started to clean away the blood that had run down Mai's skin so she could get a better look.

"You lucked out," she said as she finally got a clearer look at it. The bullet at hit and done some damage but it was along the outer edge of the thigh muscle and while it had gone in, it had also passed through. "No bullet to pull out," she added before looking around. "I can wrap it up or stitch you. Wrapping will get you moving faster but also keep bleeding until you can get stitches. Stitching is going to hurt and best I can offer is something for you to bite down on," she explained. "Choice is yours."

Royus chuckled and smiled over to Fitz. "Well then, build away. Slowly turning into a robot might just be a new lease on life," he said lightly. The kid seemed alright even if he seemed a lot more nervous than he really needed to be. That stutter the poor boy had probably didn't help. Leaning forward he looked down at the board and then back at Fitz. "Your move lad," he said gesturing to the pieces.

"So how long have you been on Newhope? Just arrive today?" he asked. The question may have already been answered but Royus couldn't remember. He was old, so things slipping his mind was common, or at least he played it up as common to keep people from constantly bothering him. could be a coin toss.

"Yeah, I figured as much," Anisa stated as she continued to walk. What else was he going to do? Refuse to give her an answer if she asked him a question? That really wouldn't be the best choice considering the situation. Pulling out a cigarette she lit it and took a long puff as she glanced towards him out of the corner of her eye. "Thoughts on the crew?" she asked. They had a small walk in front of them and while Anisa was never one to go for small talk, knowing his opinion on the crew could give her an idea of how people were going to work together. Day to day she really didn't care if they fought constantly, as long as they got the job done. Now, when the shit hit the fan, that was an entirely different story.

"Well, my most biblical one, it seems that there is a bit of an issue entering your soon to be former domicile. The door is locked up tight, might you by chance have a moment to spare so that I can clean it? It is the last room to complete before I am done. The rest of the ship is already done. Where is that fiery captain?" Jahosafat said as spotted Atticus. Atticus cocked a brow and pulled Jahosafat to the side to speak with him quietly. The ebony gentleman nodded a bit.

"I see, well dare i say the rest of the ship is done and I do need to ensure no one else enters it at this point," he added.

"Right," Atticus said before looking around and finally spotting Daphne. "Other than this cargo area the ship is firmly off limits to everyone from this point forward. I will be right back. Do NOT go anywhere other than to move cargo to the holding dock," he called out to her before heading off to unsecure his room so Jahosafat could finish up.

Case updates! Remember, those of you outside of buildings will see others - if you decide to interact you will need to cut the case short and start a combined ~case~ - PM me if you decide to do this so I know what is up! If you are not going to interact with each other, no issues, just make sure to take notice of shit going on around you. Outside of the Infirmary at this time the red truck is parked but no one from the Save Miss Sally case is outside as of yet. (They managed to get inside before anyone else got to that area of the town.)

If you have any questions on where someone might be at a particular time - PM me and I will let you know. Make sure to check everyone else's cases to see where they were at at the end of their last post. Also check the current cases to give you an idea of what else your characters might be seeing within town.

Okay, in the Save Miss Sally collab, you two have exited the OR to let Niesha, Froggy, Ravi, and Chloe do what they can to save Miss Sally. At this point you two are in the main infirmary area headed towards the main front area of the Main building. (Where all the glass cases holding ~shrines~ to the departed of Newnan are on display. Might make for a good time to remember the fallen. There are tributes to everyone from LeAnn to Alicia to Caesar, Maria, Astrid, and so forth. Things will need to be collected eventually for the newest dead. (Note, this is something that Tatiana has set up to help heal the community and she keeps it going. There was a make shift one before she took over as Lead Counselor and Morale but she has done a lot of work on it since she arrived to Newnan.)

Now that the two have done all they can for Miss Sally - what do they now? There are many options. Jack still hasn't had breakfast with his new wife - just where is she right now? Jack, knowing Tatiana as well as he does, will probably figure she is in the Mess Hall keeping an eye out on how people are handling things instead of at home resting. As far as Ash goes - Thana gave him a list of things she needed when she walked off from the outer gate before Miss Sally dropped, might want to handle that now. Where she is? God only knows, yet even though Ash has only known Thana a short time she is all business when on the clock it seems. It may give him a few ideas.

Granted, there is also the change of command. Jack is now Second, there is a lot that goes along with that - And perhaps a more personal explanation now that they are out of ear shot of Medical. Plus the two, as Commander of Newnan and Second, have a lot of usual general work to do - much of which Jack has not done before and doesn't know the drill.

You have 7 days on your counter for this one. Cover whatever time seems fitting before you either get to the end of your counter or decide to break off and go your separate ways solo.

Case Name: Clean up Isle 13, Death!

You have gotten a start on the clean up but there is a long way to go. Digging the graves is posing a particularly difficult challenge. The ground is still frozen even though what is on top is starting to melt quickly. Meg might have gotten a whole dug a foot deep that is barely one foot squared done by now. At this rate, she might be done by the end of year 5, lol. Gonna need some more hands. Might want to grab a few more.

People are in the streets now and the kids, as well as many members of the community, are staring at the blood and brain matter in the street. Maybe this should have been finished already because it is obviously upsetting a lot of people. (Several children are either running off when they see it or crying against their friends. That damn orange cat bolts across the scene, running right through the blood and leaving a trail of it behind him as he scurries off past the green house. Peaches is on his trail and does the same before vanishing and barking as he chases that darn cat.

Case Name: This Old House - Part 2

My Hider

Alexander is currently in the kitchen and has pulled down the coverings on the window and door. With light finally coming into the room he can see a lot better, though there still are shadowed areas. It appears as your standard 1950's style Americana kitchen with a few upgrades such as stove, dish washer and refrigerator along the way. Most of the cabinets are open and it looks like the majority of everything that has been taken. There are a few closed ones and who knows what could be hiding in the appliances.

There is a narrow door off to the right that looks like it could lead to a closet or similarly small room. Out the back door you see a screen in porch with some patio furniture. Further passed that, though the porch's door the back yard is snowed over but it looks like there is a storage shed that is half way snowed in. There is also a tree house off the ground that looks like a parent spent a lot of time on for their children.

As Per Last Time - You have 7 days IRL time to finish searching the house and get this posted. (You should be either back at the Tank at the end of this round or at least starting to head back.) PM me for rolls

Case Name: Agriculture 101 - Part 2

Thana and Kris will be picking up where they left off. They still have the medical garden to go through, and perhaps anything else Kris can think of. (Such as the mini plots in gardens scattered through out the community, kitchen for food stores, distillery to check on water supplies, and so forth)

Repeat from part 1 of the case, still applies: We have 7 days IRL time to cover this. There is no real end point, just however far we get in the next week via collab will do. We are just covering an hour. If we get more than that, we will cut off at the hour and start a second one as the other half. With it being only two people it will be a good chance for some character development as well as those two getting a feel for each other. Make sure to check up on the supply list and such in the original OOC, so if Thana has questions, Kris is on the ball. I will pm you the start.

Okay, WN coming today. Those that ~left off~ at the end of their time frame in the case, will be getting an update so you can pick up where you left off and continue. Sigil, Morose - you two will be getting a new case since at this point in the Save Miss Sally Case you are exit stage left. Those in the Save Miss Sally Case, you are on day 8 of 14. Those ~outside~ of cases, keep proceeding as per usual, you are on the standard counters for those characters. If you are in a case and have characters outside of a cases, you are basically on multiple counters. Counters for each case, and then counter for the characters outside of the case, so keep track!

"You sure you can handle it?" Kyra asked as she sat there and finally got a bite to eat. It wasn't anything from the kitchen, just from her personal stores but it was something. She wasn't about to order a meal, she wanted to get to the tower as quickly as possible. Sitting there waiting for someone to cook something, then bring it out, then eat it, then pay.... Yeah, that wasn't going to work for her.

Sana just nodded and glanced over towards the door as some of their group returned. "Yeah, I got it," she said without looking back at Kyra. Kyra cocked a brow but let it go now that others had returned. Sana looked down and rearranged the arrows in her quiver. She wanted them set just right if she need to go for them. After that she checked her boot laces to make sure everything was set. Now that some were back it wouldn't be long until Kyra was pushing for them to leave.

"Well do what you need as quickly as you need, soon as the rest are back we are leaving. We want as much daylight time as we can get. Potions might have to wait, don't know how long it will take you to make those but if you just gotta pull something from the beetles, then I suggest you get on it," Kyra said to Thomas before tossing the last few bites of her jerky down to Ash who took it in a single snap of his jaws and horked it down.

Another day, another gush moment! This time for Darker Than Black! As of yesterday, the current case was solved and thus brings a close to Chapter 2. Now while we are in the same topic for the RP, each chapter denotes a completed RP in essence. That means two are done now. Chapter 3 is starting next week and a new case is open for the solving. I

I could not be more proud in the Rpers that are in it. @Dragoknighte @Sigil @Morose @Scallop @Nallore: All of you have been in it since the beginning. Granted some of you have lost characters and had to bring in more but you are still going! Each case another one of you solves it. Drago solved the first, Morose our most recent. Looking forward to seeing Chapter 3 come into play and how it is solved this time. (Not to mention by who!)

So, as with The Walking Dead - Let us take a little trip down memory lane and remember those we have lost and those will probably die soon enough if Lady Luck has her way, lol!

I don't know about everyone else but

1) I am loving reading the cases so far! instead of a para here, a para there, waiting and going back and forth for weeks to cover an hour of time - we get to see a whole chunk at once. Seeing the flow of the posts so far is amazing. (There are some still not posted but they will be shortly.)

2) OMG, I am having some down right damn fun I haven't had a lot of in RP for a while being part of these cases. Let's be quick fire and be part of the RP instead of okay ~here is what you see, this is what you can do~.

Hope everyone is enjoying the ~Cases~ - If not please drop me a line and tell me where you think improvements could be made or even a ~can you keep me out of future ones because collabing takes too much time for me~ and I will do my best to keep things set up traditionally for you. ^_^
