⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@Nallore You are good to go and can move her over to the CS tab. Are you wanting to bring her in now or is she backup for in case Ray dies?

@Sigil @Nallore @Morose @Rivaan @FantasyChic @ONL @Remipa Awesome - This is an official announcement of the removal of Ginger from the RP due to reaching the day 8 counter. Usual PC to NPC "stuff" applies.

Oh yeah, time to praise my Paradoxical peeps! @Sigil, @Morose, @Dragoknighte, @Nallore, @FantasyChic, @Mnkee, & @Natsu We have reached the first of what I hopes to be many milestones for this RP. That 6 month gold club mark has been hit! Here's to the first 6 months and many more to come!
I personally have no issue with ERP, in fact I welcome it with the right partner. Granted I grew up with a mother who wrote Romance novels, so I was inducted early into the ~scene~ of erotic writing. Written my fair share of short eroticas and had some actually wonderful partners here on RPG in that department. The scene though is a bit difficult here since you do have to worry about younger writers on top of the usual finding someone you mesh with and has the same style and goals as you in that department. To me though it just adds another layer of filters when seeking out a partner in that slice of the RP world. Luckily I have a wonderful partner that caters to my personal tastes.

Now I have wanted to do larger ERP's than your typical 1x1, or at least general Rps that cater a little more in that area but because of the rules here, I cannot. (Which honestly I wouldn't want to change the rules in that department, it it fitting for the general feel and age range that can be found on RPG.)

That being said, I am kicking around the idea of branching out an upcoming Rp to by hosted not only here but on my groups private forum, a tandem RP if you will where the subject matters that are rated PG-13 get posted here and there is a ~blank holder~ post for anything R+ related which will be done out more fully on the private forum. If that will happen is yet to be seen but it is on the table. For now though, I do encourage the more mature members of my Rps to feel free to Rp out their ~behind the scenes ERP~ stuff that gets faded to black on RPG to Rp things out fully via pm's. Yes, a lot of it might be smut but it can lead to some wonderful character development that cannot be obtained fully any other way.

I'm open minded about it. I have had bad partners in the past but bad ERP partners is like having a bad ex-lover. You can't let it taint future possibilities but in the same breath you have to feel comfortable, both people do or even all parties considered if you are going for more than 1x1. A free, open, and safe environment for all is a per-requisite. Safety is key and safe words are a must. That is beyond even your basic EPR level. Many of my Rps cross a lot of trigger lines, so I make sure in my rules that is addressed and people are aware that certain subjects will be openly discussed and rped out.

There are my two copper pieces on the matter.
@rebornfan320 It is all about balance. You can have a life and RP. And never let the prospect of the lack of interest coming your way to stop you. Rp is 95% falling on your face, 4% jump on someone elses bandwagon, and 1% success. I have had so many Rps just fail or out right never get out of the interest check sections on forums I can't even keep count anymore. But I keep trucking, and eventually you hit pay dirt. That makes all the fails worth it.

Zoie looked up and then back over at Relic. She had heard it to. Taking a small breath she reached under her dress and pulled from under the thin material something pale and pink. Relic looked away quickly but Zoie just rolled her eyes. "It's a marble knife you dolt," she said as she shook her head. It was one of her favorite things. Metal detectors didn't pick up on it and it was sharp enough. Looking over at Mali she nodded. "Yeah, I know. Not wanting either in power, wanting them to take each other out," she said as she took a step up the stairs slowly.

"Stay here, I'm going up," she said as she slipped her heels off and left them on the stairs before starting to move quietly but quickly up them. Relic sighed and took a seat in Zoies place. Picking up her shoes he moved them out of the way. He was looking rather nervous and heard the door above them open and shut. Seemed she was going to check on the noise. Better her than him in his mind. He didn't have fighting skills like she did.

"I don't know exactly what she has in her mind but I think she thinks there is an opposing group called Hera," he said. "Seems the Greeks and Romans are still at it trying to conquer the world."

Elizabeth looked over to Keystone and nodded. "It does appear that way," she said as she took a seat and gave a glance towards McCormick as she seated herself as well. "Bring me Ms. Pyre please. She should be arriving shortly," she said as she glanced down at her watch. At the gate an old Rolls pulled up and a man grinned as he rolled the window down.

"Why good day to you, Benjamin Wadsworth with Ms. Valerie Pye, we are expected," he said in a British accent handing over the invitation.

Roy looked over at Riley and nodded. "Yeah, there isn't much that I have on there yet except that slew of murders from the news last year," he said as he got comfortable. The phone rang and on the other end it picked up.

"Grayson here, who's this?" Tim asked as he picked up the line. He didn't recognize the number when it called but that wasn't surprising, so many automated calls these day whoever was calling was lucky he even picked up. He normally just let it go to voice mail but hey, he had just had lunch, so he was feeling alright.

As they pulled up to the apartments Roy looked over at Priya and pulled out his side arm. "I'll stay here with her, just shout if you have any problems," he said. He wasn't about to leave Riley alone and exposed right then. Granted it was better to keep her in the car than let her get out and let some fan see her. That shit would be on twitter before he could sneeze.

The uber showed up and picked up Iris. It was a nicer ride than normal for an uber and the person in the front seat waited for Iris to get in before taking off. After about three lights the man finally caught a red and had to stop. Slowly turning around he looked back at Iris. He eyed her for a moment and seemed to sneer slightly. "You're a twig of a thing, surprised my grand daughter didn't snap you like a twig," he said as the light turned green and he kept driving. Whoever he was, at least he was going in the right direction.

Eden

Location: Eden: West hallway around south and now going north, Greed, Greed
Skills: Survival, Pistol, Close Combat Fighting, Knife, Hand To Hand Combat, Rifle, Shotgun, Brawling, Hunting

"There's my banging Bea," Lola said as Beatrice came up to her. This was a right fun good time as far as the girl from down under and to the east was concerned. Granted those Kiki's were said to be a little out of their right mind and to the left as it were. Now they weren't up as hard as the Aussies, there were a lot fewer things trying to kill you out in New Zealand than on what they called the mainland but there was much more to do and much higher cliffs. Seemed depending on where you were was a defining factor of you insanity. And Lola had taken more than her fair share, it seemed half the time she had taken second helpings at the Crazygiving dinner. Maybe that happened because they didn't have Thanksgiving there.

Then again, Lola wasn't the only crazy one in the group. Seemed that they had their fair share. Sure Thalia and Thana seemed normal enough but each looked to have their own hang ups. Alexander, now he was a Nam vet. It was doubtful anyone got out of that war without having a few screws loose. Beatrice seemed to have a thing or two about her as well. They all had to be a bit off their rocker to team up with the Tank Girl and Cowboy. Cowboy, now there was a man that seemed a little further gone than the rest of them. Not in your conventional type of crazy. the type that was fun to watch and hang out with. Right then the darker part of insanity was rearing it's ugly head inside the mind of the good ol' country boy.

Thana wasn't thinking about that though. She had had her sights on a few Edenites to pop off but it seemed that Alexander and Thalia had both done a good job clearing the way. The normal course of action now, for anyone that had served more than five minutes in any branch of any military would be to catch up to the others, take her turn taking the lead, and pushing forward to provide cover for them. Yet it seemed that even though the woman was an officer she wasn't going to follow standard procedure. Hearing the word clear only made her duck down the hallway to her left and around west towards the next hallway. She had other plans right then.

Lola heard the clear as well and she grinned. Seemed that things were going well. Bullets were getting fired off and the voices of the others could still be heard. Well at least one of them. so hey, that was good. Meant at least four of them were still standing. Not bad for as many as had been knocked off so far. It was time for another song!

The woman seemed to have an endless supply of songs to sing but hey, at least it wan't Cole Porter. For now. The songs might have been starting to get annoying to some but Gavin was okay with it. It was making sneaking up on people a lot easier because their attention was always turned to where the noise was coming from. As long as he kept quiet as he snuck up on someone that was. And he did, taking out another one and dropping them as he made his way to Greed. Granted Lola wasn't far behind him and managed to get to the other side of the room as he dropped the body.

Thana was enjoying the diversion as well as she popped off a single round and placed a bullet in the back of a mans head as he peaked out of one of the room in the hallway. Walking up to him she started checking him and picked up his Walkie. "Hopes you right with Jesus fuckers, cause Mama don't plays," she said, letting her full accent come out. It didn't sound like her, it sounded like her long dead sister and it rang out on all the Edenites walkies. Anyone within twenty feet of one heard it.

Jahosafat & Atticus & Anisa

Location: Prometheus: Upper Deck: Captains Quarters (2) -> Galley/Lounge(6), Upper Deck: Single Blue (3) -> Lower Deck: Between Infirmary (6) and Guest Quarters (7/8), Lower Deck: Infirmary (6)
Skills: Medical

A little tune to whistle as the Preacher tucked a few bibles under his arm and strode out of his personal quarters. They were a bit different than the ones on the last ship Anisa had fully captained. Oh hell different than the last two, even if the Alliance vessel was only under her command for a short amount of time. He liked the new ship they had. It was a bit different from the Vengeance but not so much that it was hard for someone used to Firefly vessels to get used to. It was a Firefly ship, just an upgrade. Hell anything that went from Fire to Dragon was an upgrade. At least in his mind. Taking the stairs right out of his room he headed to the lower Deck, hoping to catch Fitz since the lower deck was where the guest quarters were.

Anisa was also heading out of her quarters but it was just enough time for her to be able to only catch a glimpse of the top of Atticus's head as he went to the lower deck. She didn't say anything and let the man go. She had a feeling she knew what he was up to. Not because she had any sixth sense on the matter but just because that was his way. Him handing out bibles, or throwing them, was just something he did when new comers came on board. Whether they were new staff or jut paying for a ride, it didn't matter. She wasn't one for religion but he did hope they took the bibles. If anything it gave him less to throw at Dorothy, which made things less like she was having to baby sit two siblings. Granted if they ran out of things to throw each other, would they just start playing tag or would they start shooting at each other? It was a toss up.

Jahosafat quirked a brow before he spoke. "It is interesting that you should ask such a question. It is a prudent thought to aspire wish to be cleaned after a vacation through the lower echelons of society where waste and unwanted do dwell but in this matter I would not know for certain. I do have to assume that such things are here on the ship for I do have one in my quarters as I suspect the crew all have in their personal areas but for the guests, I am unsure. Though, if I recall correctly from earlier we did pass what I believe to be one. Perhaps that is a shared facility for those here on the lower deck. I have not seen your personal quarters so I could not comment on such." Jahosfats very long winded way of telling the woman he didn't know.

Atticus came up and outside of the infirmary as he heard the doctor spouting off but he ignored it even though he was standing right next to the shower which was on the other side of the hallway. He had other thing on his mind and he grinned as he spotted the other new comers as well as Dorothy. "Ahh, everyone is settling in! Sweet! I have gifts! The one thing everyone needs before going into the black! You seem like a smart man, so hopefully you will see the use of this, unlike some others," he said as he looked over towards Fitz and held up a bible. His eyes going towards Dorothy with the last of his words and grinning brightly as he did, cheesing it up with the toothiness of his smile.

Making her way into the Gallery and Lounge area of the upper deck, Anisa looked around. It seemed that no one else had made their way up there. She wasn't worried, she had said she would fill everyone in tomorrow, so if some decided to turn in instead of coming up here that was fine. Yet it seemed that at least two decided to come out for a bite to eat. "Boys," she said as she walked passed them and towards the main kitchen area to start nosing through their supplies and find something to eat for herself. She looked so different than even she had at the Lady Luck. Her hair was pulled back in a bun, her face clear of makeup, a robe on and house slippers. It wasn't unusual but it wasn't something she had let the newer members of the crew see her in yet. Dorothy, Atticus, Daphne were used to this. There were plenty of nights they all had sat playing cards in their pjs.

Jahosafat of course didn't know this but he was still in the infirmary and now it was his turn to hear Atticus. The bible peddler was at it again. The man had given him one as well. He took it and kept it. It was a gift after all. Even if he didn't believe in it, it gave him insight to the Preacher, so that meant it at least deserved a bit of study. Looking over towards Mei he gave the woman a broad grin. "Instead of searching, I would be happy to let you clean and change in my quarters, I do promise to be a perfect gentleman. Nothing more than allowing you entry, finding you a suitable frock to change into and then removing myself until you are finished. Would that be acceptable?" he offered. It would keep her from having to go down the hallway where Atticus was probably about to start preaching in.

Millicent Wyndham

Location: Conservatory, Heaton Hall, Heaton Park, Manchester, England
Skills: Sketching

Strong, that was a word that Millicent had never heard used in her direction, at least not as a compliment. Sure some had called her strong before but it was usually in regards to the fact she could lift things, or her arms looked too strong, that her chin was too strong, etc. It was never something good but as Colette said it she new she wasn't meaning it as an insult. It made her feel warm inside, in a good way. And she couldn't help but smile slightly towards the woman. She even felt a slight blush come to her features. "I, um, thank you," she said as she looked away shyly. Another trait she didn't know she possessed, shyness.

Taking a breath she forced a smile, "I believe I am done," she said softly as she removed the single sheet of thick paper from her pad and held it out to Colette. "I hope you like it," she added as she handed it over. She had wanted to frame Colette with the flora around them but instead had just focused on her and her smile. Sketching was one of the few things she truly enjoyed that was actually expected of her as a woman. It gave her a sense of control in a world that seemed to be completely out of her control. And allowed her to freeze time, a single moment taken and held onto so when the years passed it wouldn't be forgotten like so many things.

Yet that joy was short lived. Rutherford and Eagerton came into the Conservatory. And it wasn't subtle, loudly in fact. "Millicent," he called as he ran over to her. For once he had a look of concern in his features. Whether it was for Millicent or not was up for debate and him calling her name made her freeze in fear. Had he overheard them speaking? She tensed up, as if expecting a hit but it never came. Instead he just rushed to them and stopped as he came to her side. "We have to go, no," he said in a hurried voice.

Millicent blinked and a questioning look came over her features. Yet the Lord of the manor was the one that spoke to answer the unasked question. "Whatever attack happened in London has spread, and is moving north. We need to leave before this place is overwhelmed," he said with earnest. There was the sound of a crash and screams outside in the front of the large mansion. "Quickly."

Elizaveta Romanova

Location: London England: Westminster Bridge (Northside) - Jericho's Barricade
Skills: English, Zverey, Agility

"I only butt in when needed."

"Oh of that I am sure but what is truly needed and what you feel is needed are two different things. Last I checked you were missing in action when it came to something truly needed."

"And just what was that?"

"Replacing a stolen container of salt peter. Because of that, they have lost one so far."

"Which one?"

"I dare say that is information you are not privy to until she decides to inform you, but of course to do that you would need to go home for a while."

"Yeah, that will just have to wait."

"Indeed, ready?"

"Ready."

Each road they managed to get down, each turn they were able to take quickened the pace. That was until they finally had sight of Jericho's Barricade. It didn't mean that they were home free but it was the gate way to the rest of the journey and it meant the beginning of much to come. Yet for that to happen, it meant they had to get through the gate. That shouldn't be a problem she thought to herself. There were plenty of people fleeing the city, trying to get back to the main homes, away from the murders and the rest of the problems in London. And not to mention, probably a small part of that was the smell. It was just something that plagued larger cities no matter what, the stench got to everyone that didn't live there year round.

Yet, this was going to be a bigger problem than she had anticipated. The gate was closed and there were guards at the gate. Leaning down she spoke in Myskas ear in her native tongue. The large tigers stride slowing and eventually coming to a stop. She was grateful that he wasn't putting up a fight or rebelling right then against her but this still worried her. The guards were obviously taken aback by the presence of a woman riding a tiger through the streets of London and right up to their gate.

"State your name and business," one of the guards said as he stepped forward. He didn't draw his weapon but the men behind him, they stood ready, to draw if need be. This was not something she was expecting. Sure, getting questioned to enter the city was one thing but what should they care if they were leaving? Something didn't feel right.

To places known, to places unknown. Yet, what was known and unknown? What was known to one was unknown to another or perhaps they both knew and everyone else didn't know or even they didn't know and everyone else knew. Like a joke being told and only one person laughed. Was it that it wasn't really funny or that the punch line was just unknown. The known and unknown were up and down or down and up or around and round or bound and unbound or found and lost and lost and found. Found, founders, louder, so much louder, or quieter, perhaps it was quieter. Or was it? Maybe it was just the voices in his head or maybe there were not voices just himself thinking to himself but if that was the case why speak to himself? Well there was a reason, he did have wonderful ideas, even if the rest of the world didn't know it.

This was something he would want to speak to his mentor about. Well that and the fact he seemed to be a mentor himself now. A young child was next to him. On his hip and in his mind. Oh what wonderful things he would teach him, just like he had been taught. Oh yes, his master was amazing and he could only hope to be as amazing. He knew he had a few things in common with his master, other than a single skill. More than that so many thought his master was mad. He wasn't mad. He was glad, so glad, unless people called him mad, then he got mad but he wasn't mad before he was called mad because why would someone be mad for being called mad if they hadn't been called mad to start with? Now, that would just be crazy.

Around and around he looked, spinning around with a boy on his hip. "Oh these are no streets broad and narrow but alive, so alive, alive alive O. A fish monger wouldn't know what to do here for this is no street but it could be on the street, maybe. Sweet Molly, to Dublin you should go, was Dublin though where you should have fled, so sad but we're not mad. You keep selling those muscles do you not? On streets broad and narrow, the fever might have claimed you but you claimed it back." Knees buckling he sat himself down and released little Adam. Looking over towards James. "Death claims us all but the key is claiming Death, then you win," he said with a grin.

Outside of the tent, things were calm... well maybe not calm but that was perhaps a good thing. It still had gone unnoticed that Veta and Mary and Virginia had left. (Rolls are made each round to determine if anyone notices, so until it is said after a roll, no one knows they are gone yet."
