⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

@wolverbells Understandable, we are getting a nasty one here right now. Oh one more thing, was pointed out to me. The age. Right now, it is Feb 2011 in RP. So will need to adjust the birth year to keep her current age.
@wolverbells Alright it looks good, there are just a few points that need to be addressed.

1) The color code, that needs to be changed out to one that isn't the default (and one not currently in use.) Now if you have an issue changing it out, just let me know and I can change it for you.

2) SKills:
  • Tracking - take out the footstep/footprints. Basic tracking will cover more and be easier for your to reference.
  • Mending Broken Bones - Change this to Advanced Veterinary First Aide. Again, will cover more and be easier to reference.
  • Rationing/Light Sleeping/Make-shift shelters - You can combine all three into one titled "Survival" - so that would open up 2 more post out break skills for you. Because of her background and where she is I would suggest something along the lines of Poisonous Snake Identification or Edible Plants (because of her background), perhaps another weapon in there like Shotgun or Basic First Aide. She has a compass on her list of things, so Orienteering would be a good one to have.

With the skills, the changes are not required, you are free to leave them as is but they are suggestions that might make game play a bit easier for you.

3) Double check the rules, there is a small mention of something you have missed.

(End Of Day Peeps - off to Lala Land. I will be posting ~Training Cases~ next update!)

While Belladonna had a penchant for holding perfectly still with her body, her eyes were far more dramatic as they quirked and lifted. "Oh my dear I never joke but since you are sure, I will have to look into this further. There is just something... she said as she lifted her hand. her long fingers fanning out and then pointing a single index finger of alabaster towards the girl. "Off about you. Not mentally, well perhaps as such but not in a normal sense. If there isn't something extra about you then something must be missing..."Bella rose from her place and stepped over to the young woman, taking her hands in her own cold ones. She looked her over before brushing back a lose strand of hair.

"Worry not my child, you are one of mine, I will tend to you," she said before giving her the softest chill of a kiss to her forehead and sauntering towards the door. Glancing over her shoulder she laced her fingers together. "I will speak to the Lady of the house, you will be training with me," she said before stepping out. It wasn't unheard of for a Paradox to train another Paradox, it was just rare. Very few Paradoxes ever lived long enough to become trainers in their own right. There were some though and Belladonna was the eldest of the Paradoxes. Old enough not to be considered a child in the eyes of the Emendators. At least not age wise, it was doubtful though even in her human life that she had ever been thought of as a child. Belladonna always had this air about her of age and death.

The house was quiet now that people were leaving, had left, and were settling in for the evening. The next few weeks would bring many changes for the new arrivals and perhaps some even for the Emendators. There was something amiss out there, more than usual. So many new Paradoxes, so many had died recently. Old family was returning and new family being born. It was a time of change and change ever meant something good. This was the calm before the storm, if right then could be considered calm. It was as calm as one could hope for as the hour struck and the stars froze. No more twinkle, but a shift, a stream of light connecting the paths the stars had traveled. Time was resetting, it was a fresh start, a new day but the same day. It was a chance to start again.

There was a soft humming coming from Anisa as she took a stance and waited for the rest of the crew to make their way to the galley, at least the rest of those that needed to be there. The woman tended to hum to herself when she was in thought and right then she had many thing rushing through her mind. The crew had lost so many so quickly, Atticus was just the latest. And while she was stubborn Anisa wasn't cold, in fact she was rather soft hearted. Sure she could come off as a royal bitch but she had the good of her crew always at the forefront of her mind. That was why this was not going to be easy and she needed to find a way to put this sternly and with authority but also with compassion. It was not an easy balancing act.

Once everyone was there she blew her hair out of her face and cracked her knuckles. "As some are already aware, Atticus has passed away. I know some were afraid this was a murder but ain't none of that. The medical team has assured me this death was simply the result of Atticus' life style. His drinkin' and poor diet final done caught up with him." It was blunt but she hoped it would put people at ease enough to know that no one had been poisoned. It was obvious that Anisa felt pain because Atticus had died but she sucked it up and squared her shoulders.

"Because of this, there is goin' to be a change. His emergency contact will be coming shortly to claim the body. She will not be leavin' though. I have worked with her in the past and well we need more crew, crew I know and have worked with before. A Bridgette Vinters will taking Atticus' place. She ain't no preacher, brace yerself," she warned, giving a sideways glance towards Harper.

Before he could skedaddle back down to the Medical Bay, Jahosafat had to take a look at himself in the mirror and make a few adjustments. The man did enjoy looking his best, he was all that and a bag of chips. He looked at himself in the mirror as he adjusted his cuff-links, his head bobbing slightly to the music in his head. "You are a most dapper gentleman if there ever was one," he told himself as he turned his head this way and that. Oh yes, a find specimen indeed.

A skip of the step and off he went, back to the medical bay. The door sliding open just before he entered. He looked at Atticus on the table and then over to Dorothy. He could see in her eyes the man had meant something to her, perhaps it was for the best Atticus had died. He was far beneath Dorothy. Dorothy was refined, educated. She deserved someone of her status, not some drunken man of the cloth. At least he had died with a fine grooming. "This was addressed to you," he said as he pulled out the envelope from his pocket and held it out to her.

Cyril might have been looking around the place with much wonder right then but he was very perceptive, especially when it came to his sister. He leaned against his and grinned with thin lips. "Bridgette, itth okay, thmile!" he said before putting his thumb to his nose and flurbbing his lips towards her. He was so innocent sometimes. Much of the time in fact. He was loving and kind, didn't have a mean bone in his body, at least when he was Cyril. So, it couldn't have been much of a surprise when he took her hand and helped with the bags as they made their way towards the docks and found the ship.

Looking up at it with wonder his eyes widened and he dropped his trunk on the ground. "Wow, ith thith home?" he asked as his jaw went lack looking it over. It sure was nice, he could put tons of jars of fluffernutter in this ship. The sock on his hand moved slightly and came up. That fucking sock wasn't near as innocent as he was and it thought on a different level. "Where's the fucking door bell on this shit box?" it asked in a deep and dark voice as its button eyes leaned into Bridgette.

For the recently branded one must remember that the burning and fever sensation remains. This isn't something going away suddenly. It isn't making it to where one cannot function but it is making it difficult to focus. Best to try to figure this out or move somewhere/speak to someone that can. Common sense would denote the museum is the best place to learn something about odd symbols if one isn't already there. Doesn't look like anyone outside is going to help and just sitting there isn't doing any good.

Vera was having a bit of a time right then. She had always been a skittish person, things could easily startle her. Peters death and the events of the last twenty four hours were doing far more than just startling her, they were pairing up with one of her greatest fears: never finding out the truth behind her uncles death, never finding the killers. She had had a break through the day before thanks to Nora and her figuring out various things that Vera had not even thought of, other clues had come out. Yet every time they got one step closer to figuring this mystery out, something else horrible happened, someone else died. Would she have to stop looking at this point for her uncles killer? Would they never face justice? This was not only a devastating feeling within her but it was her greatest fear. That fact had sent her into a state of shock. She had lost her uncle, the man who raised her and taught her after her parents died.

Sure she hadn't been in love with Peter but she loved him. He was her friend and would have been a wonderful husband. When he first ~died~ it had hurt, to have him back and then to lose him again? Was everything related to her doomed? "No harm ever came from reading a book..." she muttered to herself, as if trying to convince herself this wasn't her fault. Her eyes drifted to Josephine as the cat with Lauren meowed and hopped down, rushing under the desk and hissing slightly. "Did it?" she seemed to ask Josephine, perhaps wanting reassurance.

This was not something George was looking forward to doing, retrieving Peter corpse. The man was melancholic enough when things were going well. Yet he was loyal, perhaps it was his loyalty that contributed to the fact that Peter had died. If he hadn't been willing to help his old friend, if he hadn't felt guilty over certain things, if he didn't have this lingering tickle in the back of his mind that he would be discovered, perhaps Peter would still be alive. Perhaps not but the what ifs of life tended to create the most about of anxiety.

Yet despite all this George was a good friend, loyal even past the end. It was why he was still with the Lord Major, why he was being courteous to the man. This man was Peters kin. The man obviously cared for Peter, so it was his duty to be there for him through this. Not out of obligation but out of loyalty. He knew Peter would have done the same for George had he been the one who had died. Looking down shyly George stayed with the Lord Major as he spoke with the clerk. "The morgue clerk, second basement, end of the hall on the left," the man answered and pointed towards the lift.

Thana looked up at Manny as she covered her ears and smirked as the homemade noise maker went off. Standing up she shrugged a bit as she checked her gun. "That's what's known as a Noxious Tornado," she said before checking around the corner. Tornadoes, something she had a personal fear of. Not your normal fear mind you but a deathly fear. Growing up in South Georgia, tornadoes were the worst. Especially with the trailer parks that dotted HWY U.S. 19 between Albany and Leesburg. From spring to fall they would tear down the highway and hit every one of them it seemed. Sure they hit her neighborhood as well, Glendale but she lived in a house house growing up. Her mother would make pies during tornadoes.

So it wasn't the fear of dying in one that got to her, it was the fear of what would happen to others because of them. From the time she was in third grad until she left she had lost a total of 15 friends. One to cancer, Chris... One died in her arms from a heart defect after gym class... Jessica.... One to suicide... Tony... The rest had died because of tornadoes. Ripping through houses and turning lives upside down. They were horrible things that left destruction and death in their paths. It was nice in an odd way to take something called a Noxious Tornado and turn its destruction towards someone she didn't care if they died, someone she wanted dead. Instead of her group.

Glancing towards Beatrice she made her way around the corner and caught up with the rest that had moved ahead. Three more had been killed since her little noise maker had gone off. This was good. There had to be more though, just waiting on them. Checking the room where one was dead she moved a bit passed it and came up behind Thalia. "Got your six," she said quietly.

Scotland

Kirkpatrick House: Charles helps Maeve out of the carriage and smiles at her. "Yes Miss O'Connor." His voice is bright as he speaks.

"Charles, show the lass to her room, she will be taking the servants quarters next to mine," Sally states frankly and Charles giggles.

"Okay Auntie!" he says even more brightly than before, he looks so excited to be given a task by his aunt.

"Pardon?" she quips as her eyes narrow.

"I mean, yes Aunt Sally," he said the brightness dimming somewhat as he starts to trudge towards the house. "This way."

Sally takes a breath and shakes her head before looking over at Thomas. "Now Aunt Sally, how was the trip?"

"I went with low expectations and came back disappointed," she said as she eyes Maeve. It seemed to be a poke towards the girl but there was something in Sallies eyes for a split second that spoke volumes, there was a reason why she was saying this.

England

London: Everything is packed and so we are moving out. The circus is moving north, Ludwigs wagon is at the front. It might seem odd to many of the members of the Circus but he is the only one to know where to go. The circus will leave Regents park. It isn't far from Regents park to the actual wall and it being the northwest side of London. The walls are high (30 feet) and thick (20 feet) but the section where the circus stops in front of looks different. One cannot place their finger on it but there is just something different. Very different. Is it thicker? Is it higher than the rest of the wall? Are the towers closer together than elsewhere on the wall? The trees thinner along this line? The grass growing differently? Something is off.

Preston: You have many ships there. The first and closest to you is a Naval one, if you try they turn you down post haste. There just is no getting on that one. The second you approach is a merchant ship but any negotiations are going to be too high. Outrageously high. Third time is a charm. It is a fishing vessel and stinks but the captain is friendly and is heading home. His home is in Port Annan. The dice have smiled on you. The fee is fair, his ship while small is fast, and he is willing to leave within the next ten minutes. (You may take control of the NPCS to make your posts. Board the fishing vessel this round, you leave post next.)

Nottingham: Everything within the Inn seems calm. If one is to look out the window they can see clearly down to the stables across the street. Elizaveta is there with a large slab of meat for Myska, who gobbles it up quickly, licking his chops as he does. She also has some carrots for Mary's stallion and is hand feeding them to him as she looks around. The Grand Duchess glances at the window but she cannot see due to reflections and light. The window just looks dark, as so most of them from the outside. She waves anyways just in case someone looks out before going over to the stable boy to pay him.

Natasha glanced over towards Cecily and chuckled. "I wonder if it was same iceberg that Captain was caught under. Maybe that's why he stayed there and got frozen, he didn't want to hear Logans language," she said air quoting language as she said it. Glancing forward they had reached the border. There was a long line, it wasn't surprising. Granted the Laredo Colombia Solidarity Port of Entry was less crowded than many others, it had been built back in the nineties to relieve congestion elsewhere. Leaning back in her seat she pulled out her passport before going into a coughing fit. Her hand reaching quickly for a tissue out of her purse. She had been doing well so far considering everything but she was still sick.

Relic jumped in the back of the car and just grunted as he grabbed his laptop. Zoie knew if she didn't say anything to him he would get lost in whatever he was doing and be silent for the majority of the trip. The car was older so there was no built in sat nav. This was perfectly fine with Zoie. Sure it would have made things a bit easier finding the best route in current traffic conditions but it could also be hacked and they could be tracked. Her brother could do it, so could many others. Old school just saying which was to go was best in her book right then. "Sounds good, head to the end of the alleyway and turn right onto the street. Two lights down and hang a left," Zoie said as she put her seatbelt on.

Looking into the rear view mirror Tim nodded slightly. "Yeah, probably be good if you have someone with you," Tim said as he put his eyes back on the road.

"Especially considering everything, Cecily would kill me if shit happened to you and I really don't want to get on a forensic techs bad side, girl could kill me and now how to make it look like an accident," Roy finally pipped in with a bit of a chuckle. The chuckle was cut short as there was a loud booming sound from above the cloud line. "What the fuck was that?" Roy asked trying to look around but the clouds were too thick near Grimm to see anything.

"Beats the hell out of me," Tim said as he stepped on the gas some. Sooner they got to Grimm, the better.

Maria rolled her eyes slightly as she handed over the baby. "Why does family for Latinos and Irish mean you beat on each other?" she said before looking back over towards the father of her grandbaby. "Very well, Keystone it is. His full name is Illiam Caesar Hannibal Keystone Gonzales," she said as she glanced over her shoulder and checked to see that their luggage was being unloaded from the plane. Seeing the car seat she motioned for it to be brought over. "You needn't worry. I packed a car seat for him. I also ordered a multitude of items he will be needing, they are being delivered to the Justice Branch of MSS in," she paused as she checked her watch, "the next two hours. I do so love Amazon Prime and their same day delivery," she added at the end.

Hearing her niece she nodded. "I fear for the day your metabolism revolts on you."

A Gms job is not only to host an Rp but to help their rpers leave an Rp better than when they started. So I am going to push you to go a bit further. This week I have a challenge for all my peeps in my Rps.

Since this RP is run differently than the rest currently I can't just go on the 7 day counter thing like the rest. Doesn't mean you are left out. For each of your characters next posts, pull up your character sheet and look at your characters Psychological Section. I want you to pull a trait, a like, a dislike, quirk, habit - something directly from the sheet and work it into your post. Reflect your vision for your character and add depth.

This does NOT mean fluff your post. I am adding a 3 para LIMIT to each character this week. Remember good writing is not about length but about content. It isn't about gilding the lily until it is too heavy to stand alone. It is about a good balance of character, content, and action. (This message will be repeated in each RP OOC)
