Noble Arms is now either four years old, or three years and eleven months. The third thread had lasted for more than one year.

Osamu Akiyama's CS and my work as him.

Name: Osamu Akiyama

Age: 18

Appearance:

Powers:

Demon Summoning Program - A special kind of programming code that duplicates a summoning ritual.

Osamu is skilled in Negotiation, Superscience and, since meeting Naoki for the second time, Sorcery. He is also an expert in making Magitech Weapons. To compensate for this, though, Osamu lacks any fighting ability whatsoever, and has to rely in Horus for battle.

Horus' Stats

Weaknesses:

Flunky Dependence - Osamu, as mentioned, lacks fighting ability and overrelies on Tech, Magic, and Horus for battle. He also is reluctant to face his opponents head-on, because he knews they can beat him easily. Rather, he's a good-guy version of that person who sends out constant waves of minions/subordinates at you until you get to their lair and stomp them.

Preperation Requirement - Osamu needs time in order to prepare any game-winning gadget or magical ritual, as well as protection from anyone who might sneak up on him, as interrupting his gadget-building/magical ritual would make said processes useless.

Bio: The son of Ryo Akiyama and Ruki Makino/Rika Nonaka, Osamu was a genius like his unfortunate namesake in another universe. Interested in the 'Digital World' that his parents would tell him stories about, Osamu would begin doing research on how to link the two dimensions back together from a very young age, although he saved time to play with his friends, Rai Matsuki/Matsuda and Lucy Lee/Wong, who, unlike him, disbelieved in their parents' stories of the Digital World. Finally, at the age of 10, Osamu Akiyama discovered, with help from the organization HYPNOS, the secret to interdimensional travel...and that was when things went wrong, for Osamu didn't find a way back to the Digital World.

Rather, he found a Tokyo riven by an apocalypse, where creatures similar to Digimon, called 'Demons', roamed the ruins of this once-great city. In this world, the only hero was a person called the 'Demi-Fiend', a human with the powers of a Demon and the ability to call them to his side. And the opening of the gate between his world and 'Ruined Tokyo' was a surprise to both Osamu and the Demi-Fiend, as well as HYPNOS, who tried to close the gate, but too late - the Demons of the Shin Megami Tensei universe were preparing to invade!

Realizing the threat, Osamu Akiyama allied with the Demi-Fiend, repurposing Hypnos' former weapons (intended against Rogue Digimon) in order to combat Demons, and the Demi-Fiend was able to return his version of Tokyo to normal.

But Osamu was frightened now; who knows what horrors lurked in the Multiverse? He also knew this, though; that only Digimon can give his world an edge against other Universes. And so, he tried again, and this time, succeeded in reunifying his parents, as well as Rai and Lucy's, with their old Digimon Partners. But...there was another disappointment; even though the Digital World was open, no Digimon would choose to be partners with him.

So, the boy, 13 now, resumed his dimensional research, trying to find out why he can't have a Digimon Partner. And, cautiously, this time, Osamu opened a portal to another universe...the Pokemon one. It was a wonderful place, although the hobby of 'Pokemon Battling' distubed him. Nevertheless, it was time to seek out allies. He found them in three people, one of them an idiot of the lowest caliber - Ash Ketchum/Satoshi.

Making his own journey, Osamu found that while he can make friends with Pokemon, he lacked the gift of making a lasting partnership with them, meaning that he had to rely on his technology to defend himself from Wild Pokemon attacks and Team Rocket. Finally, however, he found the allies he needed; the Pokemon League itself. After signing a treaty between them and HYPNOS, Osamu went back to his own world...and found the Demi-fiend waiting for him there.

Once the shock faded from Osamu's face, the Demi-Fiend, introducing himself as Naoki Kashima, then handed the boy a 'Demon Summoning Program', as well as a contract with Demon of his own, Horus*. After some more surprise, Osamu asked Horus what he thought of the transfer of contractors, and after the Demon replied that he had no objections to it, the boy accepted the program, contract, and his new partner with open arms...

As Phi and Ariel sifted through the lingering data on the Circle of Hell's remaining computers, they'd find a number of mysterious files, files that referred to various prisoners that used to be on board. One of the prisoners was Harald Bjornsson, the last of a group of conspirators who had briefly taken portions of Earth itself in a failed 'coup' against Emmanuel, a coup which had been squashed by Alexander Kherol himself after a few days. Harald had escaped from the ship to the wilds of Plenty and was suspected of having found refuge among the rebellious farmers there. Harald was not affiliated with Moonstrike, as far as the people on the ship knew, and in fact been recorded as saying, I've never heard of them until the Arcturus Incident - And even that was less flashy than anything we did...

There was also a file indicating previous 'test subjects' held in the Prison Ship, as well as medical reports by one 'Dr. Truman' hinting that some of those test subjects had been involved in an Ascendancy Sub-Project under his purview. Dr. Truman, when pressed further, had told them to, Do your jobs. Just know that if anything happens to these kids after I took the trouble to wrangle them, it's on you.

Many of those test subjects had disappeared months before the Circle of Hell had crashed, vanishing into a mysterious destination known as 'Aphrodite'.

They also found references to a parallel Hybridization Project, one which was not related to the Star Marines as far as they knew. Rather, it involved the Zvezed, Amy's species. But this file was corrupted, although it was clear that it belonged to some sort of OSI Special Forces who had tried to defect to Moonstrike but had been captured before making good on his intentions. This former Special Forces member had ranted and raved about a 'den of madness, heart of darkness', before clawing his own throat out. No-one stopped his suicide.

And finally, they found an over-exact list of 'missing' ships, ground vehicles, artillery, and personal equipment. This was what had proven Realist's treason to the Ascendancy authorities, and the whistleblower had been rewarded with early retirement and a generous pension. But Phi and Ariel, after digging further, would find that the thefts continued at a slower rate, with high-quality equipment vanishing from Ascendancy arsenals in small enough numbers to avoid suspicon.

In short, there was a storehouse of potentially vital information in the Circle of Hell's files, information which waited only for analysis...

Ascot

Ascot knew how to seem to be calm and professional, especially when encountering a merchant who was skeptical of his ability to guard his craft and his wares - He knew that everyone would not have heard of the infamous 'Ashbringer'. So he took advantage of the fact that his mech was only 4.51 meters tall to pilot the mech directly to where the merchant's ship was, and only then reveal his true identity as a child mech pilot. That plan worked, and so the boy spent the following week acting professional, being professional, and yes, spending his time eating his vegetables, calorie bars, and some candy (he was still a kid, after all).

Apparently, the Merchant was transporting supplies to a colony/settlement on Formalis, a colony they found out had already disappeared just as they arrived on the planet. Much frustration was there to be had, and Ascot found himself collecting early pay, sending news back to Serenity through FTL comms that he was all right (he felt he owed it to her), and then rejecting the Merchant's offer to transport him back to Serenity's station - He didn't feel like he should put the lady in any more danger. And by 'any more danger', he was planning to investigate what had caused the colony to disappear ans try and see if it can help in his quest to rescue his parents from the Federation...

Or if it was a threat to that quest as well as the Federation's own 'endaevors'.

Michael

Michael had spent the week travelling to Formalis as well on the ship the Admiral lent him, his plan still being to go to the criminals, threaten them into telling him who actually caused the colonists to vanish, and then offer a truce to find out whoever made the colonists vanish and start a firefight when the truce was over or if they do not agree to it. If the latter, he was going to have to target the Vyexul first, as the heavily-armed alien criminal was almost as big as Light's Wrath. Then perhaps the androids or whichever subversive brought a rocket launcher. But more on that later - Right now, he was planning to stay out of surviellance range of the estimated landing spot of the criminals and wait for them to get complacent with whatever they are doing before swooping in...
Hello! I'm a longtime RP veteran, having been RPing in some form for nearly 20 years, on various games and websites. Roleplaying is ... Pretty much the most important thing there is to me, and my number one hobby. Stylistically I really prefer to just lean into whatever my RP partner/s prefer, whether that be multiple-paragraph essays (Which tend to take me forever 'cause I have to spend a lot of time imagining how things look/interact/react) or shorter, snappier lines back and forth (Marginally quicker x.x).

As far as content/theming of what I like to RP, it's /pretty much/ anything-goes. Fantasy stuff is definitely my favorite, but I do also really like sci-fi, and contemporary stuff can be fun too. I'm also fully comfortable in all levels of adult content in RP, ranging from nothing at all/PG-13, to fully NSFW smut, though in the case of the latter it would typically be when it serves the plot.

Outside of RP-related stuff, I spend pretty much all my time at the computer, most of it gaming, and listening to music. If you're a fan of female-vocals gothic/symphonic metal, we can definitely be friends.

Hello, future friend!

@Double, Approved.

Ivory Flash, we have orders for you.

It has come to our attention that various criminals guilty of high treason against our glorious Federation have been spotted orbiting a planet we aim to colonize. Recently the colony we sent there was taken out upon arrival. Whether the vagrants did it themselves or otherwise, we know where they are. Your orders are to pursue them, and get rid of them immediately. Coordinates and information will be sent to your exo-suit's network shortly.

Michael sighed as he saw the message on his omni-tool, and went over to change to his pilot suit before entering his Mech, from where he reviewed the information promised to him. The dossiers shown on the mech's screen gave details of the criminals in question, an Android, a Vyexul, and a few Human subversives - These would not be easy pickings, especially as he was only going to bring one transport and resupply ship with him, one instructed not to try and help him when the combat started. Once said supply ship was safely requisitioned, he would ask its captain to speed all course for Formalis, where he planned to engage a few criminals in a firefight.

After asking them who really killed the colonists on the planet, of course - He had a sneaking suspicion that those specific criminals were innocent of that particular crime. And who knows, maybe Ascot would be there too...
