Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

I don't know, dickhead, maybe people with enough firing synapses to understand how social interaction works think it's a bit suspect when you ignore a guy who mentions you multiple times in an hour, respond to everyone else, including someone who's not even playing the game, and then blatantly tell their teammate "Don't worry about your teammates." Maybe it's just me not being a total concussed dipfuck when it comes to talking to people, but it kinda rubs me the wrong way.

Write's just too nice to say something about it.

I'd ask to be forgiven for taking more than five minutes to think up an appropriate response, which is something that has evidently escaped you, but I'm honestly sick with trying to be accommodating to your hair-trigger temper. I'm aware of my own communication issues and I've been doing the best I can. Not instantly pumping out a response is not indicative for ignoring; for instance, I haven't assumed that you were ignoring the multiple posts I've written IC while you've been not posting for more than a month. I merely assumed that you were busy. If I'm a shameless and aggravating moron, then at least Write is being courteous and mature enough to deal with me like an adult, and not foam at the mouth with nastiness at the slightest indication of a slight on someone else's behalf. I applaud Write for his patient and considerate treatment of me. You, on the other hand, have made my minuscule brain ache one too many times. For Heaven's sake, either mind your own business or mind the door on your way out.

@Write I am very glad to clear up any misunderstandings I may have and strive to provide a better creative environment from you. Expect my PM shortly.
you know write's literally the only thing keeping this game afloat on people's subscriptions right

What's your point, Plank? I daresay Estelle hasn't been a part of his recent contributions. Have I marginalized or offended him in some way? I thought I've made it clear how much I value everyone who continues to put work into the RP. Is this statement meant to imply that I should be extending some sort of special courtesy to a player who's doing what he's supposed to, by virtue of being in this RP? And if so, what courtesy? He hasn't even asked me of anything except plans, which I am giving him.

Team Streusel hasn't been beneficial for anyone. It's gone through two players and their characters in the fourth sloth, and two of its slots are occupied by people who are clearly more devoted to their other characters. I've spoken with Write and he specifically wanted to play Bianca again.

EDIT IN PROGRESS ACCOUNTING FOR NEW WRITE POST

The essence of what I'm saying is that Streusel as a team is finished; nothing else will be done with that team. The individual characters can be another story. I wasn't precisely aware that you harbored such a conviction to continue with Estelle, but doing so does not contradict what I've been saying. Shadow doesn't have to think about or work with you anymore, and the two of us can work together on what you think would be most beneficial for Estelle's development. A teacher or tutor role would, I think, work splendidly. If you like we can work out the exact situation in PMs.

@herecomesthesnow are you as interested in continuing to play Sterling Johnson in some capacity?

Alright but what happens to Estelle and Sterling?

Ok but I just want to request one thing, find an anime photo for Paron and well for other three teammates of Catapult since Sarina will in the future bump into them as well. Personally as the RPer cannot take them seriously with their current photo. Just provide an alternate anime photo for them.

Just forget about them.

That seems like a waste of effort on my part. If you don't like the images I made (there are only two teammates of his in KPT, by the way) feel free to forget about them as well. There's a brief description of their appearance in the little paragraphs right beside the links to their pictures.

@Lugubrious

Got it. So what's the plan for the rest of the Streussel then?

Nothing further will be done with Estelle and Sterling as a cohesive team, provided you and Snow want to continue giving them attention as opposed/in addition to your other, freshmen characters. If you still want to make some use of them, we can work something out on an individual basis.

Good, my college career has soared to new heights. I am taking two online classes on Coursera but the workload is not daunting. I start at my Uni in September.

Do you have a plans for Team Streusel?

Good to hear.

I believe the plan for Streusel was that those who didn't really by into the idea would return to using their main characters, and that your Sarina would return to doing things on her own around the school. I believe that worked pretty well; giving her a team seemed to allow her to contribute less to the RP overall than keeping her alone. It would be high time that we explored her little conflict with Paron Skaft.

As I assumed. It's fine. I'll get going then.

My apologies.
@Lugubrious

I just wanted to pop in and remind you that Bianca was already chosen to fill that role, we've already been talking about plans since Priscilla dropped. Just a reminder! ESS has an open slot though!

Drat, I totally forgot about that. ESS was going to be unplayed as soon as you got Bianca back, right? And it's a senior team.
My team is still dead. :<

@Ryonara(kinda dead?)
@SevenStormStyle(dead)
@Pyrodash888(Not really dead)

Damn. Sorry to hear that man. Could I transfer you? JCL (@Suku, @herecomesthesnow.@sho minazuki) are at least kind of active.

EDIT: The 'kind of active' was a joke, JCL. You have my gratitude for your continued presence.
How're you all doing? I expect that school's over for pretty much everyone, though of course that means the resurgence of work.
yes! this looks great. will try to get something up. Overwatch hype finally calmed down for me >.>

Perhaps you'll find time to post in Three Realms War, then?
Following her introduction, Otsune expected at least some sort of acknowledgment from the other little monsters –such an act would definitively prove them sane, and on her level- but instead, a small girl who appeared to be half spider went into a noisy, stuttering panic. While she sympathized with the girl on some level, given that it proved her to be just as baffled by the situation as Otsune, she found herself irate with the drider’s high-pitched gibbering. Wah-wah-wah-wah, why!? Wah, wah, wah! thought the snapjaw, derisively. It’s not that bad. I’m not even half human, and you don’t see me complaining. Of course, she said nothing. In a time like these, venting her veiled stress on an easy target would help nobody. Otsune did her best to focus her attention elsewhere, as she felt that any attempt on her part to calm Ariana down would only exacerbate the problem, and listened to the displeasure of the kobolds. They, at least, didn’t seem averse to getting heated. The one who named itself Mox -Special snowflake, huh?- demanded that the others forgive him for his verbosity before trying his luck with the spider girl. Though he made a halfway decent attempt to take charge of the situation, pretty much nobody seemed to be paying attention to him.

Another critter, this one a blue snake, joined Mox in an attempt to bestill the bamboozled drider, calling himself Hing. Perhaps he was Chinese? Even if it’s only names, having a trace to the world I know is welcome. Otsune found herself distracted by the imp, proclaiming her name to be ‘Saffron’. Uh, okay. It seems to me like people would be wanting to preserve whatever ties they might have to the real world, not reinventing themselves at the first opportunity. Well, I guess this is a pretty big shift. Makes sense that some people would want to embrace the change.

Only a few seconds passed before one of the creatures noticed her for the first time. Given her tranquility, it didn’t really surprise Otsune that she might sink into the background, but receiving no attention until now caught her a little off guard. ”That makes at least two of us with a level head,” she told him in reply. Her eyes wandered over every member of the ragtag bunch of misfits. In addition to the shrill drider, Mox the goblin, Saffron the demon kindergartener, Hing the snake, Jeff the lizard-goblin, and Neix the other lizard-goblin, there were two odd cats and some kind of bird-girl. Something else lingered at the edge of the cave—a dark, sinister, hunched-over shape that put the snapjaw on edge. Some sort of gooey thing with a ribbon sat nearby as well, silent thus far. Otsune informed whoever was listening, ”This cave is quaint and all, but I am ready to leave."
