There were quiet a few people filing into the cafeteria to get their lunch, a young scientist around his mid-thirties or so would grab himself a plate, a basic salad along with a turkey and cheese sandwich. He looked around the room for a moment, most of the races in the room were hanging out with each other while there were a few who went to mingle with one another. The young scientist spotted Tapo'hatam sitting at a table by himself and decided to approach taking a seat across from the Sangheili warrior and extended his hand to the alien. "Hello there how are you? I'm Clayton Byrd it's nice to meet you." Clayton would say in Sangheili, he wore a lab with a name tag on his coat. He had long brown hair that was tied off in the back, and light skin with a small beard growing as well to. He tended to work on the various Mjolnir designs in one of the many labs on the station.
Over at one of the tables Kajina would be joined by a member of her squad Corporal Claudia Hansen, who had training with Tapo earlier that morning as well to. She had short brown hair and brown eyes, and tanned skin. "Hi hows it going?" She asked, she had a plate with a burger on it with bacon, cheese ketchup and mustard and a side of fries. She was looking over at the table towards where some of the members of the Swords of Sanghelios were she was a few years younger than Kajina was as she took a bite out of her burger Claudia didn't really trust them just yet her family was killed on Reach back during the Human-Covenant War. "What did you think of the training earlier?" The young marine asked her the training was pretty hard from what she was used to. The young corporal tensed up slightly and turned her attention over towards Chur'R-Jev, Tec, & Nol who decided to join them. "It was a bit tougher than what we did in basic training." Claudia answered the Kig-Yar skirmisher.
At the ODST table Lucy would be joined by one of her squadmates as well to Finnian Mcgowan he had short ginger hair along with a slight stubble over his face. He sat down next to her and gently nudged her as he took a bite out of his fried chicken and looked over towards the table where the three Kig-yar were talking with a squad of marines at their table. "Never thought i'd see some Jackals talking to them in my experience they tend to try and take a bite out of humans." Finnian said with a Scottish accent he was born and raised in Scottland back on Earth, he took a spoonful of mashed potatoes and ate it. "Also nice job on kicking the LT's ass earlier to." He said with a slight laugh as he enjoyed his meal.
Cassandra Reed

Cassandra looked around the room as she observed those that were there as she adjusted her plate of food as she was about to go and take a seat she decided to go and join the table with Tapo'Hatam and the scientist that decided to join him. She stumbled slightly when someone bumped into her. Cass quickly grabbed her drink before it fell onto the floor luckily she was a Spartan now if she was a regular marine she probably would have been knocked over by a fellow Spartan in full gear. She turned around to look at Solares and gave her a slight smile.
"It's totally okay, but maybe pay attention more closely next time, you might hurt someone who isn't in full Mjolnir Armor." She said jokingly as she looked over at the table she was going to join seeing Solares' personal AI there and gave Maya a friendly wave. "Was going to go sit down over there if you want to come and join me." Cass said as she gestured towards the table.
Cassandra then turned and started to make her way over towards Tapo'Hatam's table and looked over at the Sangheli warrior and Clayton. "Mind if I join you guys?" Cassandra asked gesturing towards the empty table. Clayton took a moment looking at the Spartan out of her gear, he worked with Cass with her armor from time to time. "If my Sangheli friend here doesn't mind I don't mind." Clayton said looking over at Tapo'Hatam.
@Kuro "Shit a robot!" One of them yelled the one that Nancy had targeted had fired and quickly rolled out of the way and drew out their gun and fired off a shot. It missed as the other two Delgatos that accompanied the one who fired quickly opened fire as well to, one of them managed to hit Nancy's armor but didn't do any damage really. "Call for backup we aren't alone in here!" One of them yelled as one of them hid behind a pillar and started to try and dial a number on their phone. "I thought this place was empty." The other one said hiding behind a wall as well firing off another round only to miss Nancy once again. Nancy would catch someone suddenly emerging from the shadows flying straight towards her. @Master EffeX "Thank god." The Delgato said letting out a sigh of relief of getting out of prison as he followed Kerys towards the awaiting car that wasn't to far. "My dad would have been really pissed off if I was in prison to long." He said as he looked at Krys for a moment. "Did my dad hire you or something to break me out?" He asked as they made it towards the car where the driver who hired Kerys was awaiting them both. "I'm Steffan Delgato by the way." He said extending his hand towards Kerys, as he looked towards the driver as he opened the door for the two of them before getting into the driver's seat.
@IAmTheIsland Xiao Feng sat in the back of the car as Taiwu started to drive he leaned back slightly looking over his shoulder as the Lucky Noodle started to disappear behind them. There were two magic users in that restaurant, it wasn't really his area of knowledge but they had their uses as well to. "Drive over towards Nighthaven there might be someone there that could help you find out about that magic. It is the oldest part of the city after all and I am sure you can find some community elders there that could tell you." Xiao Feng told him as he pulled out his phone looking over a few messages he had gotten from his other men in the city and getting updates on their rival gang as well to and their activities.

"Sorry I know you don't like sudden teleportations." Diana said towards Wolfe as her attention turned towards KT and gave her a slight smile and slight shrug. "A little trick I found out I could do for awhile now." She told her friend as she looked towards Wolfe. "Make sure she's safe i'm gonna get suited up." Diana said as she teleported herself away towards her private lab where she had all of her gear and weapons stored. Only she and Wolfe had access to, not even her mother knew about it either as Diana started to get changed grabbing her bow and arrows as well to.
Back over at the atrium it quickly went into lockdown mode, as massive shutters to the atrium closed and the front entrance was locked down by massive shutters as well to. "The calls have already gone through, PCPD, and DSHA should have a response in ten minutes, and security is on it's way." One of the Veridian Tech security guards said over the radio, the woman could be heard laughing as she watched the building going into complete lockdown. She would spot a nearby security guard drawing out their handgun and opened fire a bullet would hit the woman in the shoulder, the security officer would then be hit with a bolt of lightening sending the young officer flying into a nearby wall a sickening crack could be heard.
@McNephelim@Silver Carrot@IAmTheIsland The Weeping had suddenly disappeared with Madalyne, the only thing that remained was her purse, along with the amulet that the Weeping had on him both Sarah and Shimazu would sense a little bit of magic coming from the amulet that was on the ground near Madalyne's purse. There was a police officer that came shortly after and on the scene he looked at the group that was there. "What happened I got a call from one of your customers saying there was a disturbance with the Blue Dragons. Is everyone alright?" The officer ended up asking, not noticing the amulet nor the purse that was on the ground.

Madalyne's eyes would suddenly go wide as The Weeping charged straight towards her, feeling his clawed hands grabbing her by the neck and slamming her into the ground, feeling the wind getting knocked out of her. Before she would disappear her purse would go flying landing with a slight thud beside a broken down table. She would find herself in a very dark place as she looked around catching very small glimpses of other places. She could only hear The Weepings voice and could still feel his grip over her neck though she couldn't see himself nor her hands right in front of her really.
"I'll take my chances." Madalyne said, as used her magic summoning a green magic energy from her hands, her shot was lucky and she managed to hit the Weeping in the chest forcing him to let go. She felt herself suddenly being ejected out of the Shadow Realm that the Weeping used to get around, and found herself landing in an abandoned building and crashed into an armored woman knocking them both down. The sudden ejection by Madalyne would cause The Weeping to suddenly be ejected himself. He would come flying out of the shadows of a nearby tree and into one of the many ponds within Millenia Park.
It was around noon for the personnel of Anvil Station, originally it was an old resupply station that was once abandoned but recently has been brought up to modern standards. It is now a joint venture between the UNSC and the Swords of Sanghelios, the personnel of Anvil Station consists of a detachment of marines, ODSTs, Spartans, scientists, as well as Sangheili, Unggoy and a few Kig-Yar and even some sangheili artisan-armorers. The station consists of several armor bays, and armories, as well as hangar bays and war games simulation decks as well to and it even has a few recreational decks, gardens and commissaries for off duty personnel.
The station has recently received a distress call, coming from a UNSC ship that was thought to have long since been lost during the war a Marathon Class Cruiser by the name of the Edge of Midnight. The signal emanating from former Covenant controlled space, though recent intel suggests some Banished activity in the area as well to. A ship from Sanghelios is being sent to Anvil Station to pick up the team that is slowly being assembled to investigate the mysterious signal.
Cassandra Reed

Spartan Cassandra Reed had spent most of the morning training in the War Games along with a few other Spartans as well as a few members of the Swords of Sangehelios. At first she didn't really trust the Elites due to their actions during the war, they certainly would have lost the war if they didn't work with them. She wasn't sure how to work with them since being assigned to Anvil Station. But after spending the last few months getting to know some of them they weren't all that bad, they were good in combat.
Cassandra had gone to the Commissaries to get something to eat, she was out of her armor and was just wearing her military fatigues for now. Her eyes wandered around the room seeing a few humans sitting and mingling together. There were even a few Elites as well as some Grunts nearby. Cassandra went and grabbed herself a turkey sandwich from a nearby food holding container as well as a cup of water she then made her way over towards an empty table closest to the window. She watched as a few flights a mix of Banshees and UNSC Longswords flying together in formation on a patrol route.

"Thank you." Isaac said as he took another sip of the water and leaned back slightly he didn't want to be a burden to the group at all or hurt anyone as he listened to the group debate. Liana turned to Kali and whispered so that way no one else could really hear what she said to Kali. "Should we tell them or something, what do you think we should do?" Liana asked her.
Gus turned to look at the group, seeing that some of them weren't onboard with just leaving the officers behind, they were all bit as far as he was concerned. "Hey listen I saw that when those things bite you, you end up turning into one of them." Gus said as he glared at the group, at least Billie seemed to agree with him. "If y'all want them in they'll turn and we all are food. And I ain't going to be someone's next meal." Gus said, he really didn't like the idea of being zombie food at all really.
Flynn turned to look at June who came up with a better solution as he looked through the small windows in the back of the MRAP, he noticed that there was an abandoned tractor trailer nearby, and started to think of an idea. "We inspect them for bites and if they are we have them restrained, and then we use that and keep them in there." Flynn said pointing out to the truck trailer nearby. "We wait a little bit and listen if they turn then they can be safely locked in there and we move on." Flynn suggested.
Kaitlyn Carver

"It's only been a few hours since they locked down New York, but yeah I think strength in numbers would be better." Kaitlyn suggested, Jack seemed to be trustworthy enough and he was right having strength in numbers was a good idea right now. "Who knows how far this thing has really spread." Kaitlyn then added as she listened to the bits of conversation that she heard from AJ, her parents weren't that far really she guessed maybe a few minutes away or so.
"Your car looks a little beatup are you sure it'll be alright for the long haul?" Kaitlyn asked looking at Jack, she turned to Shin-ae and approached her offering the woman a hand up. "We can take my car it's got more room, and it has a rack for your bike if you want to use that." She offered. "So we find AJ's parents, then we see how things are in Boston does that work also have you tried calling your daughter and son in-law? I think the phonelines are still up last I saw."
@Kuro As Nancy turned on the news there was a news reporter in front of the bank that she had just been, the reporter a young woman in her early thirties was standing near where the truck had crashed into. "Witnesses on the scene saw the 70th Street gang, they managed to break into the vault at the bank. There was a few injuries, it could have been a lot worse witnesses saw someone in an armored suit take on a few of these gang members." She said as a clip was played showing Zero-Zero going toe to toe with the 70th street gang member known as 'Torro'.
Nancy would hear what sounded like someone breaking into the abandoned building, if she went to go and investigate where the sound had suddenly come from. She would see that there were four men dressed in suits, usually something that the Delgato's wore a lot of the time, it looks like they were getting ready to set up shop unaware that Nancy had been calling it home for quiet sometime now. "One of you go out and check the upper levels see what we are working with." The one who appeared to be the leader of the little group said.
@Master EffeX The Delgato that was sitting next to his partner, now dead, and blood splattered over his face and shirt. "What the fuck?" He said as he quickly stood up. He looked down at his now dead friend, and slowly started to back up from the scene before turning to face Kerys who was setting him free. "He was about to squeal so you did us a favor." He said trying to wipe off the blood off of his face while looking at the woman.
"Lead the way, I don't want to be here any longer than needed." The Delgato said as he started to make his way out into the hallway, where it was pure chaos there were some prisoners beating up on cops while some were trying to escape through the door that Kerys had gone through just moments ago to sneak into the building.

"I do remember that a little bit actually." Diana said as she looked over at KT as she explained what had happened and gave her a slight smile as she looked at Horace. "I've known KT for years i'm fine with her if she wants to tag along with us over to the warehouse." Diana said to him giving him a slight look letting him know that she trusted KT. "Lets head on over to the parking lot then." As she was about to head over towards the parking lot, she saw what looked like a massive bolt of lightening flying into the building and a woman stepped through the shattered windows and glared at everyone in the lobby.
"You all will die." The woman said as she glared at those at the cafe area sending a bolt of lightning over at them, but missed, the people who were in the lobby started to panic and started to flee. Diana quickly grabbed Horace and KT, teleporting them just out of sight near the restrooms. "Are you guys okay?" Diana asked looking at the two of them, not really caring if she was caught on camera using her powers.

Madalyne didn't know who the monster looking man was or the woman trying to drag her out of the Lucky Noodle. "Let go!" She said, feeling the strength that Julia had. She used some of her magic to wrestle her arm free from her grasp, and turned her attention towards the Weeping. She didn't know who or what he was but he was clearly a threat to everyone in the store, she used her magic to form a shield around the Weeping.
"What the hell are you?" She asked, she could sense something supernatural from him as Madalyne kept the shield around him looking at the rest of those in the store. "Should we call the police or something?" Madalyne asked she wasn't sure how strong the Weeping and if she could contain him there or not.

BIOGRAPHICAL OVERVIEW Maya Nachstern was born 11 February 2535 in Mitte, Berlin, German Democratic Republic, Earth. Raised in an influential ONI family, Maya spent her early life shielded from the harsher realities of the Human-Covenant War, receiving some of the finest things in life. Her parents, both high-ranking ONI officers, had ensured that she received not only the finest education, but also opportunities for very highly sought after positions were available to her. Maya was placed in the UNSC Eurydice Military Academy at age 10, well known for being an elite institution reserved for promising candidates from military and political families.
During her lengthy time there, she displayed exceptional aptitude for tactics, marksmanship, leadership under stress, and others. Maya consistently ranked in the top one percentile of her class. By age 18, she had completed advanced officer-track training and was slated for strategic command roles within the UNSC Navy.
It was during these formative years that Maya’s curiosity began to push boundaries of what was acceptable. Unsatisfied with the controlled flow of official doctrine, she conducted her own independent research into UNSC operations, history, classified conflicts, and even going as far to learn about Project Orion. In the process, she uncovered restricted information—details about covert ONI actions, failed missions, and questionable wartime policies that she was never meant to see along with the mention of something considered a “biological infestation" aboard derelict ships and remote colonies. Though fragmented and vague, the data hinted at something far more dangerous than any Covenant threat she’d been briefed on.
Within hours of the breach, ONI Section III operatives, posing as standard UNSC Military Police, detained her without formal charges. She underwent exhaustive interrogation, psychological stress testing, and invasive neural scans to assess the scope of her unauthorized knowledge. Official records note a severe reprimand and a direct warning: any further infractions would result in her transfer to “Black Iron Prison,” a name she would later learn belonged to a covert ONI detention facility on Europa, used for high-risk individuals kept permanently off-record.
For six months, Maya was held under constant observation, subjected to controlled misinformation designed to test her reactions and loyalty. Upon completion of this evaluation period, she was quietly reinstated at the academy, resuming her officer-track training under heightened surveillance.
INCIDENT: BLACKSTAR FACILITY During the final phase of her officer training at the UNSC Naval Academy, Maya’s parents were killed in a Covenant infiltration and sabotage of the Blackstar Facility, a classified ONI black-ops station in Earth’s orbit. The strike, later attributed to an internal data breach, allowed Covenant forces to bypass security protocols, disable the station’s gravity stabilizers, and overload its core power systems. The resulting detonation was brief but devastating, tearing through the station and leaving little behind.
Public reports described Blackstar as a civilian research installation, a cover story that Maya initially believed. It wasn’t until an old family friend, and an ONI operative of very high ranking delivered the truth in private that her parents had been upon the station. She was devastated by the news, but quickly channeled her grief into determination. Inspired by her parents’ service and sacrifice, Maya resolved to become a Spartan, dedicating herself to the rigorous training and intense operations necessary to protect humanity from threats both seen and unseen. Her resolve only strengthened, she vowed to carry on their legacy and prove herself worthy of the clandestine path they had walked.
SPARTAN-V INDUCTION In 2███, Maya was inducted into the Spartan-V Program, an evolution of the Spartan-IV initiative. Designed for maximum operational adaptability, Spartan-V augmentations balanced physical enhancements with cutting-edge neural integration, allowing seamless MJOLNIR GEN2 interface and advanced tactical toolsets. Maya excelled in demolition operations, infiltration, assassination, psychological stress, weapons handling, CQC, extended-duration stealth deployments and many others.

ONI SECTION III — WATERSHED DIVISION Following her Spartan-V graduation, Maya was assigned to ONI’s Watershed Division, an elite subsection specializing in ethically complex operations. Operation Cleansing Fire: Eliminating a highly dangerous UNSC scientist known as Kroeber who had been running unethical biological experiments on █████ and others.
