The post made it look like the hooded man (that Jarde and Fleuri was fighting) and the Barukstaedian (that Tyaethe was fighting) is the same person.

Pls use breaks, Vita-sempai.
I am confusion.

Is Tyaethe fighting alongside Jarde and Fleuri?
Hey guys, I'm gonna delay the update because I need time to prepare the festival event.

Speaking of the festival, what kind of contests do you guys want to see there?

"I mean, I don't think you're gonna find much enlightenment working as a guild member, but to each their own, I guess. Name's Kira. Nice to meet you. We could always have more people, right guys?"
Kira Gigas

"I disagree, Lady Kira. Enlightenment is just as often found in unlikely places as in typical ones." Sir Reed politely retorted.

"So, what's new in Ortus? Actually, where is Ortus?"
Vivian Altissima

"Please excuse my sister. We were about to have a light breakfast. It's not much, but you're welcome to join us if you'd like while we wait for the Guildmaster,"
Sylvia Altissima

"Thank you for the offer, Lady Sylvia, but I have already broken my fast. As for Lady Vivian's questions..." Sir Reed then looked to the pink-haired sister. "Ortus is pretty far away from here. We will have to cross a lot of borders just to reach its most far-flung village. As for what's new... well, we're still at war with The Order and its allies but it's a stalemate last I heard. Meanwhile, I did hear rumors of an undead region wanting to be part of Ortus."

"Speaking of undead, were you the ones that abandoned that horde of Zombies near Pravar?" The Ortusian knight asked. "They could've been slaughtered had the Order spotted them. I had to lead them to the safety of the mountains, delaying my arrival here."

"It shall be up to Guildmaster Bart to consider thy request, sir knight."
Yang Bethlehem

"Freyr, pleased to meet you, Sir Reed."
Freyr

"A pleasure to meet you too, Sir Freyr." Sir Reed slightly tilted his head at Freyr, though. "You are a... Wererabbit? A male Wererabbit?" Before Freyr could respond, Reed quickly moved on from it to address the passive, almost cold, greeting he got from Yang.

"I-Is she normally like that? Or is this some sort of hazing or initiation?" Reed asked Freyr, not wanting to deal with the suspicious Yang just yet. "Her fiery appearance belies a cold demeanor, it seems."

Kira soon located Bart and brought him up to speed about the aspiring Sir Reed. Bart had everyone assembled outside to meet the Ortusian knight. "So you would like to join us, Sir Reed? We could always use more people in the guild so I would like for you to be with us." But then he added. "But I'd like to hear about what the others say about this."

"I think he's alright." Neil was the first to answer.

"I, too, would be in favor of him joining the Guild." Talia said.

"He's good in my book, but what's with the sudden vetting process?" Haley questioned the sudden appearance of the vote. "You accepted people willy-nilly back then, didn't you?"

"Some recent... got me thinking that I should involve the rest of the guild in its decisions more." Bart replied, not breaking eye contact with Sir Reed.

Haley said nothing in response. Not satisfied with the answer but not willing to ask further.
~@Stern Algorithm~

"Yes, this is the Guild. Do you have a quest to post? We were planning on taking the holiday to attend to festival at Boreal Port, so I hope it's not urgent."
Sylvia Altissima

"Ahh, so this is truly the Guild." The knight did not answer Sylvia. At least, not yet. Rather, he went and took a good look at the guild's entrance, taking note of anything interesting. "It's certainly different than I imagined. I did not think it would be primarily be made of stone. Although, the entrance contrasts heavily against the rest of the structure. Still, I can see the charm in the unusual design."

He then returned to the Altissima sisters. "I am Sir Reed of Thrakan, a village in Ortus. I am a humble knight on a... journey of enlightenment." The knight introduced himself. "I am not here to for a request. I am here to join the Guild, in the hopes that I might find... enlightenment here. And to contribute something to the world at large, even if it is small." A momentary pause before he continued. "Sooo, how do I register?"

"Ah, before I forget. May you grace me your names, miladies?"

Alright, then.

Jarde Devaron vs. The World!
@Raineh Daze

To be honest, I'm a little confused myself.

I assumed Fanilly was taking Tili downstairs to the hostage. Jarde thought she was staying to fight the hooded guy.

Anyway, I had Jarde square off with the hooded guy. Is that going downstairs or staying?

With a single sickle out, Jarde began fighting and taking down mercenaries. He caught an overhead swing from a sword with his weapon before using a leg to sweep the mercenary off his feet. One kick to the face was enough to knock his latest opponent out of the fight. Looking over, he saw Tyaethe make her way downstairs. Presumably to rescue the hostage before the mercenaries could do anything to her.

"Dame Tyaethe has already headed deeper. Half of our number will take Vosahnn and accompany her, the others will remain with me!"
Fanilly Danbalion

The Captain had given her orders. Jarde moved to join Fanilly when a whistling sound made him instinctively roll to cover. He awaited another shot, perhaps a volley, but none came. Figuring that there was none, Jarde rose and rejoined his Captain. Turned out, the bolt was but a warning shot. A signal to catch the Iron Roses' attention.

"Well well well, the Iron Roses? Hmm, you've made short work of many of our mercenaries, too, just what were we paying them for? Are you lot any better, or should I lower my expectations accordingly?"

A tall man in black leather armor and a concealing hood sauntered into the scene along with some reinforcements for the mercenaries. Armed with a short sword and a crossbow, there was no doubt that this one was a boss of these mercs. Jarde expected him to be harder to fight than the others and for that, he pulled out his other sickle.

"Well, no matter, I'm certain I know exactly how you got here so quickly and who told you. That will cost her one whole sister."

"Well, can't we talk about a discount? Times are hard." Jarde replied with humor but then turned serious. "Give up. We've got the Captain of the Iron Roses here, and her blade's still wet with Bandit King blood. Not to mention that... okay, we're quite even with numbers. But we're Iron Roses, if you didn't already know."

"With me!"
Fanilly Danbalion

Fanilly called out to Tili and lead a small group downstairs, making a beeline for the hostage and leaving Jarde to fend off the mercenary reinforcements by himself. He wondered if Fanilly wanted him to come with her or if she trusted him to hold off all these mercenaries. Jarde watched Fanilly make her way downstairs, still dumbstruck as to what he should do.

Noticing that his chance had long went away, Jarde looked back at the hooded merc and all his friends at his side. "Uhh, I think we got off on the wrong foot here..."
Sorry for the late update guys. I have no excuses (unless you count procrastination as an excuse).

"Your reaction to this whole thing shows that you're using pragmatism to hide your actual reasons. If it was just about the guild's safety, you wouldn't be getting so worked up about it. You would be able to sit down calmly and talk it over with Neil. But right now, when you explain your reasons, people can tell it's not sincere, which makes your argument less convincing. And just giving everyone the cold shoulder who doesn't agree with you weakens your position as guildmaster. If you...tell Neil how Varjo has hurt you in the past, maybe Neil will realize how much his stubbornness has hurt you and will be more willing to compromise. Yes, you are the guildmaster, and to a certain degree, you're supposed to be above us, but we would rather that you were one of us, and rather than working for you, we would prefer that we were helping you."
Sylvia Altissima

"Wha--? Varjo hasn't hurt me." Bart was perplexed at Sylvia's incorrect guess. "If they did, they would've finished me off... or worse. I wouldn't have built this guild and none of us would be here. They're not the kind that 'leaves people for dead'." Bart explained. "That's why I'm afraid to attract their attention."

He then sighed, getting tired of this conversation. "You know what, you two are right. Perhaps I'm approaching this wrong." He resigned to the Liliraune's argument. "I-I'll think about it, okay? Maybe find a chance to talk to Neil. Thanks for coming to see me, and for bringing dinner. You two should head back, though. You might run out of dinner to eat."

Bart closed the door and the conversation was over and the Altissima sisters returned to the dining hall.

"Welp, you can't say I didn't try. I talked to Neil for a bit. He agrees that the feud between him and Bart needs to stop, but he doesn't know how to do that. And that's mainly because he doesn't know what Bart is mad at. Also, Neil won't be joining us for dinner as well."
Kira Gigas

"Hold on, now. Who said I won't be joining?" Neil suddenly appeared behind Kira. "It's been a while since I've joined you guys in dinner. Now what're we having?"

Neil was brought up with the guild's planned activity for tomorrow: The festival at Boreal Port. "Sounds fun. I think we should go. And yeah, maybe that'll break the ice between me and Bart. I mean, I doubt it but it's worth a shot."

"This is great! A festival is the perfect display of cultural significance for a country! And I never got a chance that far West yet! I wonder what its for? What will they have? Swimming? Boating contests? Maybe a circus! Theatre! We could have a picnic but like, on the beach!"
Ozzy Skyway

"Well, the flyer only says about the festival but I bet there'll be contests there." Haley answered. "Hey, maybe we can win some prizes there for the Guild. If nothing else, there'll be free food!"

Soon, the dinner concluded and the members retired for the night. Some probably excited for the festival in Boreal Port tomorrow.

---THE NEXT DAY---

The next day arrived quickly arrived. Everyone save Neil had only begun awakening. Should anyone head outside, they would see Neil with the encrypted map, alongside a ragged, dirty boy known as Forde Briar to those familiar. It appeared they were in a minor argument.

"...ain't head about no darn Zombies. How'd they get close to an Order city anyhow?" Forde retorted.

"Well, they weren't there first but they awakened when we lingered there. Shortly after you left." Neil replied. "Regardless, we had to get through a horde of Zombies to get this map. Understand?"

Forde clicked his tongue. "I s'pose you did get the map. Here." The ragged boy tossed Neil a small pouch. "And here. For the trouble." Another was tossed, giving Neil two pouches. "Once I get the treasure, that'll be nothin' to me anyway." And with that, Forde walked away from the guild.

Neil sighed and returned back inside.

{INCOME YESTERDAY}
{@ShwiggityShwah, @Restalaan (DIT), @13org (ADA), @Stern Algorithm: 200 G}
{@13org (FYR), @Rezod92: 300 G}
{@Restalaan (YNG): 0 G}

"Not bad." Haley said. "We can use these to enjoy ourselves in Boreal Port." She suggested. "We ARE going to the port's festival, right?"

"I think it's a unanimous decision at dinner." Neil said. "Still, if anyone wants to change their minds. Now's the time, while we're all still here."

The trotting of a horse was suddenly heard outside. Looking out, the guild would find an arriving figure. He appeared to be a knight who has seen better days. His apparel consisted of several unpainted armor pieces: Helmet, greaves, spaulders and gauntlets. His blue tabard was tattered and a lone symbol of a yellow cross emblazoned on it. His only weapon was an average longsword with no notable features.

He disembarked his packed horse in front of the guild. "Hello? Is there anyone here? Is this the Guild?"
