The smell of salt and moisture in the air had greeted the newcomers into River Port. The sound of seagulls filled the air. The buildings that spanned down the road were humble. They seemed to be housing buildings for the civilians here. The roads here were cobblestone. All sorts of species of people moved through the road. The citizens had been stared with interest as a Helius had arrived earlier that day and two winter fairies had come off with a dwarf. Though this wasn’t too surprising, as another dwarf had come into town earlier that day as well. As dusk had set, the sound of music and laughter filled the air as those who dwelled in River Port sure loved their night life.
Day 1: Moonday, Juume 21st Time:7pm, The Summer Solstice
As the world tried to recover from the declaration of war, the day seemed to settle down for the most part. It became abundantly clear to all of Avalia that King Kasai and the Twin-Headed Dragon had discussed their alliance. King Kasai forfeited his control of his kingdom to the dark elves, as well as his army. His decision was publicly defended by officials as a move to ensure the safety of his citizens but was met with outrage by not only Roshmi but from all of Avalia. Meanwhile, the Sun Elven King and Queen have been kept out of the public eye as the dark elven army has started to close in on their kingdom, estimated to arrive at nightfall.
After the arduous battle with the Trolls, Princess Annya, though weakened, managed to lead her group successfully to River Port, enthusiastically complimenting them on their great work the entire way. After visiting their health center, she moved them to an Inn to rest for a few hours. Meanwhile, Princess Rosaria and those with her managed later in the day to come upon a carriage on a nearby road with a driver more than happy to bring them aboard. Princess Mikazuki would have also most certainly taken her leave with her followers out of Roshmi by nightfall.
Now as we reach dusk, the sun sets with a last explosion of color before the engulfment of night. A deep saturation of warm colors was thrown across the canvas of the Avalian sky as if the Gods were painting, pinks, yellows, and even purple tints detailed the clouds. This art was only momentary, however, as dusk set in over the land, promising starlight to all who gazed upon it.

An elf came running from between the trees toward the monster, claiming he was going to distract the monster, only to be grabbed by it a moment later. Sophie's pupils dilated as it picked up the male. "No no no!"She cried and tried to wave her hand again, attempting to make the lightning bolt as she had before, but it was all to no avail. It wouldn't happen again. All she could do was watch in horror as the blood and flesh fell from the creature's mouth. The sounds she heard would probably haunt her forever. Her heart sank as she noticed there were two more trying to fight it for them. She almost called out to the others that they had to go back for them, but she knew deep down that no one had a chance against that thing.
Sophie hung her head, nausea overcoming her. She remained silent for the next ten minutes until Rosaria's voice reached her ears. She glanced up at the woman but did not reply. She slid out of Caelan's grip and stumbled backward clumsily. She then wrapped her arms around herself, trembling in fear and shock as Rosaria told them the name of the creature and that they had been in its territory. Sophie was mildly aware of the pixie that had been hanging on her, moving about her shoulder to jump into her backpack. She couldn't blame the pixie for going in there.
When Rosaria congratulated Sophie, she said nothing about it. Her gaze was pulled to Aurora when she started doing some strange hand movements after Nuallán had spoken to her. The girl began to hum. The world around them soon seemed to be glittering and peaceful, despite what they had all gone through. It didn't take away how ill Sophie felt, but it did soothe her anxiety a little. She gave a small smile towards Aurora to display her gratitude.
Jomari, on the other hand, did not seem soothed at all. She moved on instinct to kneel at his side and rub his back as he vomited. Once he had finished, he asked, "What the fuck did you get us into?" Sophie wasn't one to word things in such a way, but she felt the same. They were in way over their heads.

Helio glanced at Lizzie as she informed him. It was slightly comforting to hear that their deaths had brought more peace into the world, but it still went against his belief system. Fairies had been raised, even in battle, to kill only in self-defense and spare as many as one could. But if it was all true, that Helio had already sullied his hands with the blood of hundreds, then would anything ever absolve of him of his past anyway? Maybe he was just a doomed man at this point. He shrugged it off as there was nothing to be done about it now, and instead listened to Lizzie's next statement. She made sense in his eyes, if the crew had all been killed, then it could be a long time before people noticed they were gone, especially if they had all been criminals. Still, anyone could tell off that bat that Barboda was not paranoid. For him to be warning them, there must have been good reason.
Barboda then confirmed they were from the light elf army and Helio understood why he was warning them. "The light elf army would never enslave people. If that's who you killed, Barboda, then they'll be here within the day." Helio also now understood that what Lizzie had said, was a lie if Barboda's words held true, which was no shock since she was a pirate. The light elves were stuck up and assholes at times, but they'd never enslave others. If they had been all the way out here, he had to wonder if they had meant to summon humans out here in secret perhaps. Could the man in the cell have been a human that had been summoned? Shouting from below reached his ears and further curiosity befell him as well as Lizzie seemingly.
Then suddenly Lizzie invited them to her quarters, and this interrupted all his productive thoughts. He gave Barboda a smirk and gently elbowed his arm as if to say, We're in.
He followed Lizzie with no hesitation. "Who am I to reject such a polite invitation?

Annya groaned as she tripped to the ground and hit it with a harsh impact. She attempted to push herself up with determination, only to find herself yanked backward and yanked into the air. The blood rushed to her head as the world became a blur of color. Faster than she could think, she was being smashed into the ground. Dizziness overcame her as a sharp pain filled her body with every slam into the ground. The taste of blood filled her blood and the fast, repetitive motion seemed to steal her perception of the world. One thought managed to pass in the madness through her mind.
No... I can't fail here.
She cried out in pain and frustration at herself as she let light imbue her armor in her desperation. Letting a troll grab you was the worst thing you could do as outpowering one enough through strength alone was near impossible. If Kharne wasn't doing any better, then she'd have to hope that she could burn the troll's hand enough to let her go, but even then, she had no chance to assess how hurt she was. Could she hold it off on her own even then? ...She had to. The humans were counting on her and she could not embarrass herself in front of them.

Yuka’s eyes opened up wide and she grinned down at the approaching vulpine. She listened to his words with some interest, her grin never faltering. What he did not seem to understand was that she had specifically come to the commoners knowing their often ignorance and lack of adequate education. It made a good framework to create gossip. Whether or not what she was stating was truthful did not matter. It did not even matter whether or not they all believed her. The odds were greatest in a populace of commoners that at least a few of them would be interested enough to talk about it. Then it would spread like fire from the bottom up to all of Roshmi just as she planned.
When it came to empathy towards parents losing their children, a King who made a choice to side with his child’s killers was not a good example of that. She had no idea what had been classist about her words, but she was excited to have possibly offended him. Joy filled her and she giggled out loud as he referred to her as prettied up. “Empathy! Woooow!”Yuka repeated and applauded him along with the others, “I sure did get a rise out of you, huh? Hahahaha!”
Looking down at Kuroi, she met his gaze with a smirk as some agreed with Kuroi’s words. She bent her head left and right as she examined him closely with a smile, commenting “I actually like your style! Fantastic work!”It did not matter as she had heard enough applause to her own to know her point had got across. Yuka had a retort to perhaps win back some opinions to further the cause, but none other than Princess Mikazuki came into the battle, doing all the work for her.
Yuka listened as the princess confirmed her words and seemed to even go against her own father publicly, wishing to end the Dark Elf alliance. She was a little thrown off as she had hoped the two of them could have been mortal enemies who had amazing hate-sex someday, but she found herself quite fond and understanding of the girl instead. One could certainly not choose their parents! Yuka had learned that the hard way. The crowd seemed to eat up Mikazuki’s words and started roaring and applauding in even more agreement than before.
”Yes! From the mouth of King Kasai’s daughter Princess Mikazuki! Sooo brave!”Yuka exclaimed, applauding along with everyone else, but she was mostly applauding her own luck. A new challenger approached not too long after that and she spun on her heels as the masked female spoke to her. She had even come up on the roof with her to meet eye to eye, which Yuka appreciated the vibe of a dramatic stand-off. As she spoke, Yuka poked a finger for each point and question she brought up. She sure seemed mad! It seemed like there was someone with a similar mask accompanying her off to the side, down below on the ground. Yuka giggled and closed the distance between them, bounding up to her happily, ” That poor cunt is a-okay! I made sure he landed in some hay. You see I am very thoughtful…” She drew off and gave her a peace sign, winking, ” And very kind!”
”As for the rest of questions… I am totally interested in what you got going on! I’d like to hear more. The more the merrier as they say-Ooooh!”Yuka continued her reply, only to ooo and gasp at the end of her statement as her attention was soon stolen again by someone very stylish in the crowd(@CitrusArms) as the folks in the area started to clear out of the plaza. She waved over the vulpine-like creature that had been spectating, ”Yoohoo! I like you. Come have a chat with us!”

Helio blinked in confusion at Tigerlily’s tender words and shoulder pat. He stared after her as she went downstairs. He wasn’t sure if sirens had new tactics or if she was on the moodier side. She was certainly a mysterious one. He spent a few moments, thinking it over before deciding he did not really know her enough to get a proper reading on her. Whether or not she was trying to seduce him to later drown him was going to go lower on his priority list for now.
His thoughts were stirred by the voice of none other than their captain. He angled his body to grin at her in greeting. “Oh, I’m going back for more food, love. Just you wait. I just had to take some time to contemplate whether or not one who is blind can dream…. If they can’t see anything, then they would have nothing to dream of? Right...?”
Just as he awaited Lizzie’s answer, helmet head interrupted, casually announcing how he recently mass murdered the people who owned this ship. Helio was, once again, shocked, to say the least. He stared dumbfoundedly at Barboda, ”Wait… You what now? Are you serious?” He knew pirates and the people of Port Vanarosa were all a little morally grey but mass-murdering just for a ship?
It was as though the universe was taunting him. The karma for what he had done was coming back. He wanted to get away from his past of terror and murder, only to somehow find those of a similar mindset to his old self. Helio clenched his fists.Maybe he’s joking. He glanced at Barboda and shook his head at his own thoughts. He doesn’t joke.
Helio decided not to be too obvious with his disagreement and remained calm, awaiting Lizzie’s response in hopes that maybe she wasn’t a psychopath too.

The creature chased them slamming itself against the trees in its path. The vuothoran roared at them as it tried its best to keep up, it was slowed due to the dense overgrowth of the jungle floor. His speed and ferociousness were only increasing more and more by the second. The beast swung its long arm barely missing Sophie and Caelan before falling behind the group again.
Sophie desperately wanted to bury her head in Caelan’s shoulder and hide, but he had asked her to watch it, so she forced herself to keep staring at the horrifying creature as it slammed itself into trees trying to reach them. She gasped as it reached out and just barely reached them, ” Maybe I should run on my own! I am slowing us down and it just almost got us!” She cried out with some panic to Caelan.
The vuothoran was motivated by its almost catch and put all its energy into charging toward them. It was going to get them this time. This was the end.
Sophie cringed and threw her arms out in front of her face instinctively. It felt as if something quickly tickled the skin of her palms and then suddenly her hair began to stick up on end. Electric bolts of lightning emerged with intense speed out of her palms toward the beast, sending it into convulsion and slowing it down. The loud buzz of the lightning had made her open her eyes and stare as the last of the lightning left her hands and dissipated.
Ok, thank you for taken the time to read through my character. I was already aware of the fact that she prolly wouldn't come to fruition as I was almost sure someone else would've already ask about half-breeds. Also, any mentions of winter elves would have been a mental typo and were referring to winter faeries. (I was probably thinking something along the lines of Faeries-Fae-Elves and making a stupid mental jump while writing.) Also, practically everything you said that was wrong, was due to the half-breed nature anyways so that would've just solved it. And I'm gonna scrap her from this RP as I don't like massively reworking characters. I'm just gonna make a new one. Oh, and don't worry about me taking any critiques as personal. They are critiques after all.
Now the summaries. 1) That's the main setting info at the beginning of the OOC. It basically tells us how the world of Avalia is related to ours, and where a large number of our myths come from. It also tells us why we no longer have creatures from mythology popping up due to the dark elves. Basically dark elves are being angsty and bad, the light elves and faeries are freaking out. The Orcs seem to currently be oblivious and I assume the dwarves don't generally care as the conflict hasn't yet touched their homes. But, the light elves are going 'Oh Shit!' and started summoning humans to help fight off the dark elves.
That I did read before making a character. Also, if you can put in lore wise how long ago they actually started that process, that'd be pretty dope.
Anyways, gonna be truthful didn't read the other two before making a character. I don't think either part was in the OOC and I didn't plan to read the IC unless I got a character a-ok'ed.
2) Well, as it says at the top, the villians are introducing themselves. In the most stick-up-the-arse way they can. (Not saying the writer is a pretentious arse, just the characters) One of them goes all dementor and kisses the rat dude. The other is rightfully disgusted and instead decides to shout at his enemies and goes 'Ha! I'm your enemy!' Which is very foolish because now he has a target on his back. And this all happened because they got all uppity about the light elves being uppity and summoning humans. Also, the villians are full of themselves and no doubt they think their existence is a gift. I got that from them calling themselves the twin-headed dragon.
3) XD. This one sounds like a weird beach resort advert for spring break at the beginning and is all like 'Come see the once in a lifetime event of humans! Also, we did it over there but it wasn't as good.
Oh, also if this ends up sounded rude, that was not the intention. I have been told that I just kinda write that way when I'm writing from my perspective.
Thank you WolfHorns for all your effort and reading. The IC posts I gave you were not required; I asked you to read them in order to give you a better idea of the current state and to help you understand what's happening. I usually ask people after they get accepted to read those two posts to understand the circumstance.
Unfortunately, the other GMs and I do not feel this would be a great fit going forward as it does not feel like the important plot points were noted in your statements. This roleplay is heavy reading at times and it is a vital factor in going forward that the players are not skimming, missing points, and are thoroughly reading others' posts.
Best of luck to your future endeavors and have a great Sunday!

Aeron, as she is known to friends, if she had any that is, Is extremely introverted. Though it manifests as extreme hostility rather than awkwardness. She is selfish to her core, not because she is inherently a bad person, but because she has been hunted down due to her father's blood. And when your life is on the line you have very little time for altruism. Due to being kicked to the ground, beaten, and even having her wings torn from her back, Aeron has long since followed the ideology of an eye for an eye. Aeron, as having no one on her side since her mother was hanged for sleeping with a human, has no one to fight for except herself. And now, after years of running she has decided to stop. No longer will she flee. For with the endless seas of the north at her beck and call she will march upon her enemies. (I want to make her into some kind of big bad if that's cool)
While extremely irritable, Aeron does know when to stay her hand for the most damage. While she used to get anxious at being found out, she has since discarded those useless thoughts. She is neither brave nor cowardly, for she will simply do what needs to be done. (In her view at least). She is used to being lied and tricked and will therefore react as such to most situations, but if one came to her in sincerity and truth, she might not be able to process it.
While having mastered the art of intimidation, Aeron cannot lie effectively. But who needs to be able to lie when you can just send messages with said lies? Nor can she charm or strike a friendly conversation even if she wanted to. While not the most intelligent, her tumultuous upbringing has resulted in her having the utmost attention to detail and a memory that can rival most scholars. Due to having no friends to speak of Aeron's humour has become quite dark and twisted. There are some who would say it's even dry. While not quite tired, Aeron does suffer from wicked insomnia and usually only gets about four hours of sleep a night. (If you count her attempted to raise an army to march south as being crazy, then yes, she's crazy)

History: Born to two loving parents, both from places worlds apart. My father, a human, damn him and his cursed blood. And my mother, one of the fairest Winter Faeries. That is if the stories told in the bars are true. But who knows? I don't remember my mother well. Just a pale form covered in red. Now, I knew what that meant, my father never let me forget. How could he? We were on the run, and for what? Because my father was human? No, I wish. If that was the case then maybe they'd stop with him. No, we were hunted because my mother had me. The tainted child. The cursed half-breed. Once again if the drunkards were to be believed, then I was the cause and source of every single ache and groan that their bodies made. Somehow, to them, I had become pestilence and death itself. Well, they already made me it, didn't they? So, why don't I become Pestilence and Death. Don't worry, the North will march, and let no living thing think it's safe.
My father taught me. Did he teach me well? No, but he taught me hard. Forced me to learn my magic. Tried to get me to learn more. The crazed man even struck my hand in a flame once to try and force me to learn fire magic. HA! Though, the biggest shock came shortly after. He had bribed a healer to stay quiet, though when she went to do her job, nothing happened. Infuriated, for that is the kind of man he became, a cruel drunkard, my father forced her to work harder. And harder she did, until the very skin around the burn started to rot away. I will never forget that pain, nor will I ever lose the scar that covers my right palm. I still can't stretch my hand fully because of it.
My body is full of those. Pains. My back is constantly tight, and I can't wear heavy jackets because of my stumps. You would think that after several years the pain of having them torn from you would disappear, but no. I still wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, hoping to be able to fly once more. No, they were taken from me, like my father was, curse him. I was not worthy of them, as a dirty half-breed. That was the first day I took a life. My father tried to prepare me for it. He had me kill elk and fish. Even had me kill a wolf once. That was hard, because I could hear it's acceptance, feel it in my bones. I was not prepared. There is something qualitatively different about killing another thinking individual then there is killing an animal. But I killed him. I killed the man who took my wings. I killed him and everyone else in that tiny village. Including the babes. I wept the most for them. I had thought myself darkened to the plights of those around me, but it wasn't until I saw those babes, frozen in their mothers arms, that my heart finally stopped beating.
You might ask, how did I freeze winter elves? Well, unlike humans, winter elves are not themselves immune to their elements. A traight that I happened to pick up from my father. It was strange, to not fear things that any sane person should. I did not fear the long nights nor the glacial seas. No, they are the only friends I have. That is, of course, not including Mulph and Crossus, a wolf and raven respectively. They seem to be the only kinds of animals I can speak with, another deficiency of mine.
Well, you might ask what I did after that fateful day. I fled. North, as far as I could go. Mulph and Crossus gathered more of their kind around me. They knew I had changed. I was no longer a person, for what person could murder innocent babes. No, I was Death, that very same think those drunkards so long ago called me, not even knowing I sat next to them. So I fled with these beasts that would see themselves lashed to me. I captured prisoners on my trek north. Shackled them in manacles of ice and forced them to move with wolves nipping at their heels. The was one of curiosity to me. An orc, he seemed older then most, though intelligent. I kept him away from the others and we would often speak at length. It was from him that I learned of the orcish ritual magic, and of how it strengthened them.
When we finally reached the sea and could flee no longer I pushed my magic to it's current limits. Never had I done so before. Never had the very fabric of the world seemed to sing with me. It was joyous, elated, that one of it's children could sing so loudly. And it moved. The world shifted. The snow stopped in the air, the waves paused in the ocean. and from it depths a great iceberg rose. A frozen fortress upon the water. My wolves forced my prisoners within it's icy depths. While I did not need to worry about the harshness, my prisoners did, so I forced my magic to moved the coldness away from them. They would still be chilly, but they would not freeze.
Unseen by the forces that chased me, we left. We sailed north in my frozen castle. We fed on great whales and orcas that I hunted with my magic. My wolves grew large and strong, my Ravens fast and nimble. Though while most of my prisoners would die, a few managed to have children in the interim years of our voyage. Those children survived. I will raise those children, and they will be my warriors, loyal to none but me.
The old orc eventually died, but not until I learned much of his rituals. I have not cracked them yet, but I will. And I will use them upon my beasts and soldiers. The old orc even spoke of another ritual, though it was mostly guesswork and hypothesizing. A ritual unlike any other. A ritual to raise legions. A ritual to raise the dead.

Subspecies Winter Fairy/Human
Abilities Crykinesis/Hydrokinesis (Her human blood makes her power over ice and water stronger than other faeries) Like other faeries, Aeron can speak to animals, though only two. Ravens and wolves. No other animal seems to able to hear her.
Weaknesses *Due to her half-blooded nature and history, Aeron has weaknesses slightly different then most Fairies and humans* First of all, she cannot fly and is in some sort of constant pain from the jagged stumps of her wings. She is unable to practice any kind of magic besides Cryokinesis and Hydrokinesis She is weak to iron and most other lesser metals such as copper and tin. (She can use bronze though, strangely enough) Now the strangest twist of her birth makes healing magic useless on her. She still has no idea why it does nothing, and trying to force healing magic into her body actually causes slight necrosis in the affected area. Due to this, she also cannot heal like other faeries.
Oh, and yes, I am aware that if I get to play this character that she is an evil character and will most likely get killed. I'll be coming into the RP with that understanding and I won't be upset when her time finally comes.
Hi there,
Thank you for your time, effort, and interest. c: It is nice to meet you.
Some issues here. Feel free to shoot any questions
- No Half-breeds --> Make her a winter fairy. Please refer to the first page of OOC, the second post of all the species or here: avalia.fandom.com/wiki/Winter_Fairies
- Humans have not been here for a very, very long time.
- Winter Elves do not exist.
- Fairies cannot do orc rituals. No necromancy.
- A 26-year-old cannot have a 10 in magic. Please make her an 8.
- Winter fairies do not have Hydrokinesis.
We will reject this character for now unless these changes can be made as well as the following necessity. This is not personal; it is to your benefit that both you and I know you can keep up with the material so we just want to be 100% sure.
In order to prove you've thoroughly understand the story here, please read the following and surmise in a few sentences:
In a different dimension, on a planet called Avalia. The land did not split in the exact same as in the story you know of Pangea. It is a quite different looking world to our own. Magic flourishes in this land with the sun as its source. Their sun is very different than one in the Earthly dimension. Its pink color gives the sky a very light pink hue. Mushrooms the size of trees and trees that seem to touch the top of the sky cover the planet. Various colors beautify the forests and the lights of pixies illuminate the paths through them. Castles perched upon mountains and villages upon valleys exist as you may have imagined in fairytales. After all, those fairytale writers got their ideas from somewhere, right? If they had told everyone that, who would believe them?
There had been a time humans from Earth were very welcome in Avalia. Elves have the powerful ability to manipulate light magic, often opening up random rifts in the dimension that would suck in random humans from the other. Humans were allowed to explore and exchange knowledge from the dimensions while creatures from Avalia traveled to the other dimension to sneak peeks at Earth. Humans showed them castles, buildings, the English Language, food and anything available ranging from medieval times to the Victorian Era. Humans even brought over species of animals as gifts. However, these select humans that were allowed to dimension travel were sworn to secrecy with their lives on the line. If you had seen so many wondrous things, wouldn't you have been itching to tell someone? They were given permission to write what they had seen into stories, which others then took a liking to the themes and also incorporated into their stories. Thus, reality became a myth.
However, light elves weren't the only type of elves. A race of dark elves bred from the combination of use of powerful, dark magics and also darker thoughts. Avalians feared what these dark elves were capable of as well as their different views, and had them exiled after the Great War, which occurred about 1,200 years ago. Dark elves had been forced to live in the tundra of Daka Island since then. However, in their rage of losing the war, they assassinated all elder light elves capable of dimensional rift creation. Humans have not set foot in Avalia since that day. It was foretold by prophets that the dark elves will train and one day be able to conquer Avalia in the next war and take over new territories. Their vengeful spirit could mean slavery and misery for all of Avalia.
Because light magic and fairy magic cannot stand up enough to dark magic, a different type of magic was needed in order to avoid this. Unfortunately, humans were the only ones capable of wielding the forces of nature, magic strong enough to hold a chance against a dark elf. Their genetics in the realm of Avalia would react in such a way to make this possible. The light elves felt they had no choice but to learn to summon humans once again.
Learning to create rifts with light magic would take immense skill and experience; only the best of the best were capable.
Now, enough time has finally passed for a light elf to be old and powerful enough to create rifts once again. Powerful light elves that have lived in secrecy, training to open rifts have finally reached success at this point of time. The rifts will open and Avalia's heroes will arrive.
The Twin-Headed Dragon
Time: Night before the summoning Location: Malthemoor
The storm outside raged with the loud claps of thunder as strikes of lightning flashed and illuminated the darkened room of the stone castle the twins resided, casting their shadows on the wall. The air was thick and humid and the sound of the torrential downpour was a heavy percussion against the ceiling above them.
“Th-th-the light elves are planning to summon man-thing tomorrow morning, do not know the location I don’t. Very s-s-secretive they are.” The rat demi-human knelt on the floor before the two. The dark-haired woman watched the rat curiously as they spoke and soon was grinning darkly. She had been lounging on her throne with her legs dangling over the armrest. She suddenly spun around and stood, slowly walking towards the sniveling rat.
”Is that so? And you truly don’t know anymore?” She asked, a grim smile on her beautiful face as she gently caressed his cheek. The rat quickly shook his head and Amarantha remained silent for a moment as she studied him, then sighed. ”Well then I guess you’ve become useless, wouldn’t you agree brother?”
Basilian looked towards the two, “Yes, and you know what we do with loose ends.” His face was stone cold with a lack of emotion as he hid his disgust from the rat on his floor. “I will give you the pleasure, sister.” He stood up walking past them, “I will get the preparations started with the cast spheres.” Basilian faced one of the guards standing in the room and said, “Get the prisoners and bring them to the balcony.”
The rat began pleading for his life, pure terror in his eyes as Amarantha shushed him as she leaned in closer. ”Hush now, everything is going to be okay.” There was a gentleness to her voice now and it began calming the man as he became unsure of what was going to happen. Was she actually going to kill him or did they mean something else when they meant ‘tying up loose ends’? Amarantha’s lips met the man’s in a soft, comforting kiss. She felt him relax, but then suddenly stiffen as his eyes and ears began bleeding. Dark tendrils surrounded Amarantha and her prey as he began screaming in agony. Suddenly he went limp and she let him drop to the floor, dark tendrils seeming to flow out of his mouth for a moment before dissipating. Amarantha stood upright once more as she wiped some blood from her mouth before moving back to her brother’s side.
“I don’t understand why you would put your lips on such a disgusting beast.” Basilian stared at his sister before looking back towards the cast sphere in his hand. “This should be ready.” He stated before he heard the door open. Basilian looked towards the door and watched as four prisoners were dragged into the room and out to the balcony. “It looks like we can join our unwelcome guests,” He told his sister as he walked out onto the balcony, rage now starting to seep out in his face. The pitter-patter of the rain greatly increased in volume as they made their way outside. The sky was a foreboding molten gray.
Out in the middle of the courtyard sat a large map of all of Avalia. Kneeling atop of said map were four figures encompassing each of the large races of the land. On the far left of the group sat Prince Khurdral Mountainspine, heir to the throne of Ironhold and the Dwarves. Beside him was Prince Echo Millinia, youngest son of the Fairy King. Next in line was the general of the Light Elves, Talindra Joxalim. Last was the Demi-Human heir, Prince Itsuki Yoshikawa. All had their hands bound behind their backs and mouths gagged. They were swiftly becoming soaked from the rain and behind each of them stood a Dark Elf Dragon Knight.
Basilian activated the casting sphere, which opened up broadcasting to all of Availa. “Welcome Avalians to our show. We know you plan to bring the humans and thought we would make our move first. If you look over here, we have some of your fellow pinces and this Light Elf general. “ He said, waving his arm towards them and showing the world their faces. ”This is a declaration of war, We will take what is rightfully ours and plunge your pathetic races into despair just as you did to us thousand years ago. Our race has kept quiet for years building and growing this great nation of Malthemoor. I will make you watch as we murder your people just as you made us watch the murder of ours.” Basilians looked at the knights and with one swift movement of his hand the knights slit the throats of the prisoners letting the blood drain from their necks in view of everyone watching the broadcast.
”Remember this, people of Avalia, all of this could have been avoided. If you hadn't exiled us into the coldest places of Avalia, treated us as a lesser race, then there could have been peace. Now you have forced our hand and we will become the monsters you have believed us to be. The rivers and streets shall run red with the blood of your children.” As Amarantha finished speaking her words, she conjured the form of a twin-headed dragon with her dark magic. It appeared to emerge from her and her brother before lifting into the air, flying around for a moment before she signaled for the spheres to be shut off. War had come to Avalia once more.
Day 1: Moonday, Juume 21st
Time: 9am, The Summer Solstice Happy Soller! On the day of the summer solstice, many give thanks to the suns' power and enjoy the great weather by having swimming parties.
It's beautiful, sunny today in the Sun Elf Kingdom. The land is bathed in the light pink rays of the sun and the birds are chirping. Many elves are enjoying the warm weather by enjoying some swimming today and preparing outdoor feasts. The holiday of Soller celebrates the summer solstice. Fairies and demihumans have been known to take part in this joyous event!
However, the shadow of last night's events looms over Avalia. Large-scale funerals for the dead are being prepared for lost royals. The Twin-Headed Dragon has made their intentions clear and time is of the essence. Elves are gathered in the Hall of the Castle. The Biren royal family, along with their newly appointed general and other high-ranking elves all have gathered to summon humans into the world. Everyone stands back as Princess Rosaria and other powerful light elves raise their arms as the light rifts are finally opened once again!
Six humans soon appear in the middle of the hall, facing the King and Queen as they look down at them from the balcony.
In case of any issues arising in Sun Elf Kingdom, a small group of light elves also made an attempt in Port Vanarosa. To their dismay, only one human female appeared.

An onslaught of various sounds harrassed Sophie's ears, causing her to change the direction of her gaze and straighten up. The ginormous creature approaching them was something out of nightmares. Her eyes transfixed on it with horror, the inside of her mouth drying up. She willed her legs to move, but she had frozen like a deer in headlights. Tears brimmed in her eyes as panic rushing through her body as hard and fast as the boulder that had crashed near them. It was if a wall had been built in her mind, blocking any thoughts from forming or moving. She stumbled backward as the little pixie yanked on a piece of her hair. "Run, Sophie, run! Helloo? Hello! I don't like dying, Sophie!"
She was barely aware of Rosaria grabbing her arm and pulling her forward. This was really another world and she was completely out of her league here. How could they all get away from something that big and fast? As she got a grip on the world around her, she became aware of the warmth of another body. Her eyes traveled to down to see the back of Caelan's shoes as he rapidly ran, as it sunk in that he had picked her up. The tugging on her hair had not ceased and it was clear that the pixie was holding on to it for dear life as she laid over his shoulder. Caelan's words set in with some delay and she had to force herself to stare up at the horrifying monster behind them. She felt her heart sink all over again and tears spilled down her cheeks. If that thing catches us, it'll rip us apart...and eat us!
