I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio
Hello! Welcome to my little bio.
Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).
Was...this demon completely naive? Tania was in such disbelief that the bat thought these things were going to work she actually laughed and quickly earned a sharp poke from Lena but it was just so funny that she thought nobles would change just because. Besides, to her it sounded like she was just advocating that spirits be completely servile to humans and others instead of just standing up to them and learning to stand on their own. Oh sure, it might sound nice in theory, but unless spirits could ever learn to stand on their own without the aid of humans, with just their own power and united under one power - a leader who could make the humans understand them then all Vili was advocating was complete and utter servitude that likely wouldn't even work.
What about a servant that messed up? What about a servant that wanted to leave to pursue another career? If the nobles relied too much on them for chores, when they did want to try and go free and stand on their own, how did she expect the majority of nobles to act? The bat was more naive than Lena if she thought such things were going to work. At least Lena wasn't afraid to use force if she needed to to protect someone or achieve her goals, even if the elf didn't like using such things.
She would have told her too, if the fox hadn't starting putting his own input in the matter.
Tania had to say, he was right. They needed a leader. Perhaps she found an ally in an unexpected place? But before she could question it further Lena jumped out of her seat, almost dropping the teacup in the process.
"E-eh! W-wait!" Lena stuttered out as Inari started to drag Faera away. "S-sorry! It's my fault I uhm, brought up a rather unpleasant topic didn't I?" Lena chuckled, cheeks flushing with embarrassment. She probably looked terrible to these people, didn't she? Why did she always have to put her own foot in her mouth at times like this? "I-I was just leaving anyways...I do have to stop by the forge tomorrow morning so u-uhm-" A small hand holding her mouth shut stopped her fumbling words.
"Hold up there, Lena. You're not goin' anywhere. Neither are you, foxy fox." Tania said with a huff.
"B-but-"
"Lena, honestly. You want to get along with these people don't you? Stop selling yourself so short sometimes ya stupid elf. I'm pretty sure no one here dislikes you...well, aside from grumpy old man fox over there maybe." They were likely too busy hating her anyways. "Besides, it's late and I'm tired. that perverted dwarf you work for can wait until tomorrow."
"I-i mean, I guess?"
"And you foxy face...why don't ya stay for a bit? Pretty sure your human there wants to be friends too." Tania fluttered over to Lena's head, standing on it and placing her hands on her hips. "So why don't we all just sit down, hold hands and be best friends and do...best friend stuff. Or whatever it is you people do with friends. I dunno, I don't wanna be friends with a naive bat brain."
Right! Hopefully I didn't fudge things up too much. If I need to change anything, do tell.
"Damn it! I was focusing! I aaargh...do you need something or are you just here to annoy me?"
Name: Charlotte LaChance
Race: Human (mostly)
Age: 17
Year at Academy: 2
Gender: Female
Appearance: Charlotte is one that many people might find quite attractive, much to her own chagrin as she's not one that desires such attentions from people. She stands at roughly five foot six, with short cut brown hair and and an almost flawless and healthy complexion. Her eyes are a deep brown color, and a typically she carries herself upright, with an almost arrogant and proud seeming stature. Typically she wears a blue, white, and black dress that one might find a bit odd to wear in normal times. It has a shoulder cape and hood to help protect one from the elements, and her hands gloves.
At her side one can find a belt on which hangs a rather hefty looking tome. Inside is scribbled various incantations, rituals, and other things pertaining to spirits of various sorts.
In all, one might assume she's from a well-off high class family...they would be sorely mistaken.
She has an odd symbol that seems tattooed into her skin on her forehead, a symbol of the contract she has with her Spirit.
Personality: Insatiable curiosity, confident, stubborn, doesn't like not getting her way, and an incredibly driven individual...and 100% pure grump. She wants to be the best, and always strives for excellency in all aspects. Some might call her a bit uptight because of this, and indeed that might be true. She doesn't see the value in those who squander any amount of time or talent by being lazy or otherwise incompetent. Despite this, as long as you don't interrupt her studies she's fairly amicable. Just expect her to throw snark and insults your way if you get in her way or mess something up she's working on.
Skills, Talents, Specialties: Magic:
Simply put, Charlotte is quite in tune with the spiritual forces of the world. Creatures that initially have no corporeal form, or possibly those creatures such as Naiads, Dryads, Salamanders or Sylphs, she can usually communicate with on some level.
Contracting a spirit requires the contractor to make a deal with the spirit, for whatever reason. Upon completion of the terms of the contract, the spirit begins living 'with' the mage, typically they start sharing a body, and their power is easily summoned by the mage. The contents of the contract can be anything the spirit or mage desire, but one has to of course, be careful especially when dealing with some not so nicely inclined spirits. One could get a bad deal quite often.
A few other downsides are that some spirits, are just difficult to control. Great care must be taken not to loose oneself to the spirit, and some such as fire spirits are inherently more difficult to control than others. Plus, there's always a chance a spirit could forcibly posses a user against their will if something were to happen.
Current spirits: Minthe, a water Naiad. Their contract is simple. Minthe is to protect Charlotte, and Charlotte is to...keep Minthe happy. Whatever that entails. At her current level of mastery with the water spirit, Charlotte is able to use rudimentary water based elemental magics, and if she wishes to exhaust most of her magic and summon Minthe directly she is able to after an incantation, and at great cost to her reserves of stamina and magic.
She seeks to possibly contract more spirits in the long run, but she still needs more mastery over Minthe before she is able to even consider such a thing. Not to mention, finding them in their realms or attempting to summon them directly and then forming the contract are both equally as dangerous.
Other skills: Charlotte is with some difficulty, able to understand elementals and other assortments of spirits. Even those that aren't able to typically talk, such as Salamanders and other non-human spirits.
History: Charlotte is from an incredibly old family that has been into magic and the occult for ages. It is said that in the old days of the Roman Empire, her family started its origins when a man fell in love with a water Nymph and bore children. The children were excellent mages, philosophers and thinkers of their time and were considered to be quite powerful sages and wise men, not to mention they held the extreme beauty of the nymph. Of course, over time, such blood and talent has been diluted to almost be nonexistent.
Of course, today this family is fairly nonexistent, save for a small branch living in Central Europe that aren't even aware of their families origins. They, were simple farmers and this is where Charlotte was born. A simple farm girl who loved helping out her parents on the farm, reading, writing, and exploring the back woods near her home.
It was on one of these little exploration excursions, she stumbled across Minthe...who was bathing in a river...Of course, most people might either find that odd or off putting, but Charlotte was only incredibly curious by this creature and felt oddly drawn to her. After some time Minthe allowed herself to be contracted with a simple contract and started teaching Charlotte how to control magic, how to speak with spirits and about the world of magic.
Not all that long later, she received an invitation to Acadia.
Relationships: Mother and father, though she doesn't speak with them much any more. They're on good terms, but Charlotte is just busy.
Minthe: Although Charlotte rarely sees Minthe these days as it takes considerable effort for her to travel between planes without Charlotte's help via summoning, the two are fairly close.
Well, at least someone had some culture. She could smell tea brewing from the job board. Hmm...she hadn't had some delicious tea in awhile. Maybe there would be enough for her? Eh, not that it mattered they probably didn't care enough to fix tea for someone else. At least someone was cleaning up the place a bit. While the decor wasn't something she would give someone a medal for, she couldn't exactly stand a mess in any place she was in. That said...this place was just about as boring as the place above was. She did hope mister Kabuki man had some plan for all of this.
"Shark man what are these used for?"
Allisons head turned towards Kurt and frosty was...holding a condom? What, was he twelve or something? She had to refrain from laughing loud enough that they would hear her. Judging from the way sharky boy was laughing too, he had never did the deed either. What, so did that make her the only one here experienced in that field? Well, that made her uniquely qualified for explaining just what this was, then! She walked over to where frosty and the shark man were.
"I'll take it from here, sharky boy." Allison said, picking up one of the condoms, and looking over to Lance. "So. This, huh? Whew, I haven't taught anything like this since my last boyfriend." She chuckled, walking over to the kitchen...and grabbed a banana before quickly returning.
"So, Lance my compadre." She opened the condom, taking it out of the package with a grin hidden beneath her mask. "I'm only gonna explain this once, so pay attention. You open the package veeery carefully. Don't want any holes! Holes are bad, at least, they're bad in these things." She chuckled briefly. "After that, you pull the condom over your banana very carefully!" Allison started to pull the condom over the banana in a very, very slow manner. "Annnd there we go! understand?" She didn't explain any more than that at all. What ever lines he'd draw after that would be his own.
