Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

~Chieko Okawa~

Middle of Alley, Suttling's Basin, Priestella
@Crusader Lord@Ryofu@Althiel@BrokenPromise
Deaths: 1

For the most part, Chieko let herself be pulled along by Hiro. She had nothing to say, merely pulling her scarf up around her chin and keep moving. Being only slightly Athletic, she had trouble keeping up, but she refused to let herself be carried or coddled, out of breath not even seconds later. Soon enough, they passed by Irene and Vasilis. They didn't seem to recognize them, running them into nearly the same way as they had before. She didn't think too much of it right now, but Hiro alerted them to the ambush that was ahead.

Soon enough, things went to shit, and Chieko couldn't help but to watch Vasilis' heroics, still holding onto Hiros hand unconsciously as Irene told them to stay behind her. Well, it wasn't like she was going to go anywhere else. The fight ended fairly quickly, the fire knight using those impressive acrobatics and fire magic to swiftly end the fight. The non-native could only look on in awe.

"Chieko." She replied in a mildly curt manner to Irene's questions before releasing Hiro's hand as she realized she was still holding it. Part of her wanted to act like she had before, naively ask him everything about it she could, but she still wasn't feeling so great after effectively being murdered - but this may be her fastest chance of figuring out how to do it. "Hey that was magic right? How'd you do that?" She asked, walking over to Vasilis. Despite more muted tone this time, if her widened eyes were anything to go by she was obviously both curious and excited.

Livia took the seeds quietly. She was no botanist, but she did know her magical reagents to a degree...and she certainly couldn't think of a reason for Kafei seeds to be used in something relating to familiars. She hadn't thought much of it when she was given the task by Maeda simply because she was wary of the spiders intentions. After getting it from Barthen however, she had become slightly more suspicious. She knew Hashish Resin could possibly help with the attunement process for a familiar. Did...did Maeda just send them on a drug run? While they seemed like they were vital components needed for the ritual, Livia didn't like being used as a drug mule. She was going to have to say something to Maeda when she returned. She was right to be wary of this spider it seemed.

"I see, thank you again, Barthen." Livia replied as he finished speaking. "I am not particularly into recreational use of these things - so I'll have to pass if they offer." She had better things to do than get high on some Hash. It seemed she was going to have to speak to Nartur after all. Fine with her, really. She had intended to see her anyways so she could kill two birds with one stone. "I know of Nartur. We met briefly in the Mayors house shortly after I arrived, but thank you for the advice. If there will be nothing else, then my sister and I will make our leave." With seeds in hand, Livia turned to leave. As soon as the two had left the store, she'd turn to Katherine.

"Katherine, be useful for once and go to Underhaven and get what Maeda wants from there. Dealing with the Orcs might take some time and I'd rather finish these tasks sooner rather than later." Best to split up the tasks now as well. She doubted they'd get into trouble, but it'd be best not to stand out too much. With a brief goodbye and asking around a bit to find where the Orcs were, Livia headed up the street to the barracks. Finding them wasn't the hard part. The hard part was going to be convincing them and finding Nartur. She wasn't going to be intimidated so easily by an Orc, so if they tried they'd be sorely disappointed.

Once she reached the Barracks, she walked up to the first person she saw.

"You wouldn't happen to know where I could find Nartur?"

"Rrral~" After handing over the flowers to Meganium, Ralia walked over to Claire and Chikorita who was currently busy chasing a leaf around Claire's legs. Reaching down and picking the grass type up, Claire gave her new friend a tight hug. The grass type stopped for a second, focusing on Ralia who had walked up. The two stared at each other for a second before the Chikorita made an attempt to tackle it, only to have Ralia teleport right up onto Claire's head.

"Haha, hey now, play nice you two." Claire laughed, reaching down and picking up the Chikorita. "You wanna come with us, right? Well I just so happen to have an extra spot on my team, haha! So lets see..." What would be a good name...? Something lively and green. "How about...Pip? Nice easy, rolls of the tongue and totally adorable like the both of us." Chikorita, Pip, Grinned brightly before wiggling out of Claire's arms and running a few more circles around her. Ralia was quick to join her new playmate, teleporting off of Claire's head and onto Chikorita's back, causing the grass type to stumble forward, quickly correcting herself and starting to chase after the psychic type.

"Ah, y'know what?" Claire grinned brightly. "Since we're here, we might as well play a bit." Uxie was probably a bit lonely too, considering it was forced to be here after all. "Hey, Uxie," Claire turned back to the psychic legendary causally. "Don't mind if we hang out here a bit do ya? Wanna give my pokemon time to stretch their legs a bit."
~~Samantha, Chloe, Penny~~

“What? Has someone been harassing my Penny?” Chloe replied, frowning lightly, releasing Penny from the hug. “You should have come and found me. I’d have fed their souls to Iesud.” Before she could continue her reunion however, the other girl decided to be a rude little bitch-face and interrupt. Ah, if she wasn’t both cute and a member of the mint...Deciding not to dwell on it, the dark magical girl sighed, running a hand along the table slowly as she replied.

“Tsk, so pushy. You should relax more. That distant expression of yours is lovely but your attitude seems like it could use some work.” Walking over to a small counter where a top of the line coffee maker was, grabbing some coffee grounds and making some. “Yes, yes, business then. We’ll have to catch up later, as soon as I finish dealing with the Mint.” Taking a seat at the coffee table, Chloe put her elbows on the surface, supporting her chin with her hands as she gave Sam a smile.

“While we wait for the coffee to finish...perhaps you could introduce yourself?~” She asked playfully.

Sil’s momentary lapse of control didn’t go unnoticed by the sealed monster girl, though she didn’t react to it outside of a short lived glance of curiosity. Internally she was already planning how a fight would go if one broke out as well as clamping down on her volatile emotions. While also deciding to keep an close eye on the new girl at least until she knew her a bit better.

That decision was immediately reinforced upon hearing about the girls connection to the Mint, Penny wondered just how many people in the organization knew that she was now technically a part of it but brushed the thought to the side. “Harassment I can handle, I get plenty from the girls in Beacon” Penny shook her head as she sat back down on the couch “No I got run out on and then ghosted. Tell ya the details later”

“And are you making her the same type of coffee that you used to make for Isana? ‘Cause I still say that stuff tastes like motor oil” She asked upon seeing that Chloe was making coffee rather then more tea. “Don’t get me wrong” Penny would add turning to Sil “It packs a punch I just don’t get how people can stand the taste”

To say it was irritating to see this little girl waste time would be an understatement. Samantha wanted her to make haste with spilling this information that might've been of interest to the Mint, so each second Chloe spent fawning over Penny was a second of Sam's life she could never get back. And, as a Time-user, Sam did count them. So of course when Chloe suggested Sam introduce herself, she was anything but happy.

"You want an introduction?" she asked, giving a small sigh. She had no intentions of interacting friendly with either of these two in the future (not that they were special in that regard) so she found the idea of giving her name rather pointless. Yet, the fact that she was even being asked to do this meant that it was probably better to just go along with it. "I am known as Silhouette, and, as you already know, I am an agent of the Ebon Mint. I enjoy a good cup of coffee." she stated rather plainly. Given her occupation, one couldn't expect the dramatic, flamboyant introductions her alter ego, Shade, gave. Sam herself preferred to be of few words when she could.

"I don't know either," Chloe sighed, making a mental note to ask Penny all the details of what she had been up to. She was allied with the Beacon now? Either her little Penny had gotten quite deceptive and infiltrated them…or someone had been feeding her precious innocent head lies. "Isana always liked those absolutely tasteless things. Coffee and those disgusting energy drinks. I'm surprised she was always so lethargic around here." Turning her attention back to Sil however, Chloe smirked. So that's how it was going to be, hmm? Here she was, trying to be as friendly as possible and this girl was just being utterly rude. Tsk~

"And here I was hoping we were going to be besties." Chloe smirked, eyebrow twitching lightly. She was being perfectly accommodating, and here she was being rude. "Yet here you are giving me a cover name instead, but fine, fine. If you insist on being that way..."

Taking a moment to sit up, Chloe placed a hand on her lips before reaching into her mouth with a hand as if trying to grab something. Seconds later, she pulled something forcefully from her mouth before tossing it in Sil's direction. It was a small green gem she had apparently been keeping in her mouth for whatever reason, no bigger than a small pebble and could easily fit in someones hand.

Chloe gave no immediate explanation as the coffee maker finished and she stood to go get it, but anyone with any magical talent could tell easily that this gem was deeply malevolent simply.

“Geez, your the first Mint I’ve meet that takes their work so seriously”" Penny quipped as she tried to get a better look odd gem Chloe had tossed at Sil. Having little skill in magic, she wasn’t sure of anything outside of the malignant energy it gave off, but figured it would have to be something of importance if Issued had sent her after it.

“Is your Broker riding you or are you always this distant?”" The bluenette would asked as she watched Sil from the her seat on the couch. Quietly sipping at her tea occasionally as played the outsider. There was something familiar to the Penny about the intensity of this unremarkable girl’s gaze, she just wasn’t sure what or why.

Samantha’s eyes turned a deep crimson as she inspected the green orb she held in her gloved hand, and she ignored the girl speaking to her for a moment as she did so. It did not seem immediately dangerous to her, otherwise she’d have avoided it. But she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. Hopefully, Chloe would explain it when she got back. Samantha did not have limitless patience when it came to fooling around. But for now, she turned to Penny and spoke.

“Is it not common sense to be cautious around individuals who can casually slaughter innocent humans?” she asked Penny. She then sighed. “If you really must know, a person like myself finds it both difficult and pointless to bother with formalities unless I am sure we’ll have contact in the future. But any sort of name is much more than I give most people, so please respect the effort I am putting into this.”

"Hup, here we are." Chloe walked back over, placing a mug of coffee in front of Sil. "Do enjoy. I might get upset if you tell me it’s bad." Chloe smirked, taking her seat back. "Last person who did that met an unfortunate end so let's try to avoid that." Chloe paused, taking a drink of her own tea. Ah, she had no idea how much she should reveal here…but she might as well play with Sil a bit.

"By the way, don't stare at that too long. Might have some adverse side effects if you haven't used it before." She leaned back on the table. "So…what was I doing…any idea what that is? No? Of course not. Your tiny little pretty head can't comprehend it." She was almost purposefully trying to antagonize Sil at this point, it seemed. "Think of that jewel as something that can help any magical girl with their job. A…boost to their powers if you will. Iesud has had me…making those for the past few months. And now there's so many beautiful ones growing…ones that perhaps we'd be willing to let the Mint have for suitable compensation. In fact…" She smiled. "I'm feeling generous, you should be grateful. I'll let the Mint have that one for free."

Sam looked longingly at the cup of coffee, before looking back up to Chloe. “I will try my best to enjoy it, but if threats are the best part about your blend, then I feel we’ll have an unfortunate situation on our hands.” she commented, her red orbs eying the drink closely before she took a sip.

She closed her eyes. From the Dark Magical Girl, not a sound could be heard. But even those ignorant to magical influence could feel the pressure she was exerting, the kind of which very few things could compare, and the kind that was likely to put both other girls on the defensive. However, this lasted merely a moment, and with an exhale, Samantha set the mug down. She opened her eyes, now brown, and glanced back at the gem Chloe had passed her and spoke as if nothing had just occurred. “How generous of you. I take it all the commotion you’ve been causing has something to do with the creation of these… magical steroids, for a lack of a better term?”

"Short answer? Yes." Chloe replied, seemingly unconcerned with the very brief pressure from Sil. Someone took their coffee far too seriously. "With a little help from the angry old dragon, I can turn spirits of the recently deceased into these." Leaning back, Chloe sighed boredly. "Are we done here? Or can I get back to pampering my Penny?"

Penny stalled out a bit at Sil’s response, a bit of it was the concern of innocents after all it’s not often that a Mint seemed to care about the non magicals. Most of it was Penny recognizing Sil eyes, after all it’s not like she would forget the fight she had on top of the Sky Bastion easily. Thankfully Chloe came back with the coffee, letting Penny fade in to the background for a bit as she just observed.

The pressure exerted did little to set Penny more on edge, though it did cement that Sil was the same person that Penny had fought before the ship was taken out. And Penny was moderately disturbed at the thought of eating someone’s soul, thought a small part was curious if the process of making these steroids broke the soul of those used.

Didn’t help Penny from choking on her tea at Chloe’s question about being able to go back to pampering her.

As Chloe was speaking, Samantha had been drinking her coffee. Though not as intense as the first, every time she took a sip, she inadvertently pressured the area around here. Her expression, however, remained a stone wall. Her cup of joe was finished right around the time Chloe had asked her about their business. “This is acceptable.” Sam said, holding onto the green orb.

“Thank you for your compliance.” she told Chloe, starting for the door of the “apartment”.”And for the coffee, too.”

Assuming nothing impeded her, Samantha would take her leave.

Kiri was almost ready to pounce onto this elf the moment she touched Jess. However, it was quickly over with, and it seemed nothing adverse had happened. Kiri hesitated for a moment, eyes swiftly moving back from her friend to the new humanoid in front of them who seemed to somehow now speak with almost perfect clarity. Judging from the translator...it was near perfect english.

"You'll have to explain what in Arach's great web you just did." Kiri grunted, folding her arms. What to do? This creature hadn't attacked them and so far, she seemed pretty safe. "Fine. Everyone careful. We'll follow this sharp-eared human until we get some more information." She looked back to the elf, narrowing her eyes at the elf. "But I'll just say this...if this is a trap or you hurt anyone on my team...whoever you're running from will be the least of your problems. Kriev!" She motioned. "Bring up the rear and keep your eyes peeled."

"I see," Ash replied to Danny. It certainly was one way to think of it. A similar idea to what she'd probably explain it as if she was going to explain it. "The explanation is helpful. Thank you." Now she just had to actually do it. Taking a breath and focusing on the task at hand, Ash attempted to once again manipulate that undercurrent she had been trying to use for the past hour or so. Instead of focusing it on herself this time however, she'd attempt to focus it on something else.

Feeling the current on her claws again, she let it flow outwards. This time towards the rock that had previously been used as a healing stone. A little more forcefully than she tried the healing skill, she tried to manipulate this energy so it'd yank the pebble upwards.

Woop, finally got off me lazy butt and posted.
~~Lady Tea and the Elf~~

"Wahaha, man you guys are noobs." Tania laughed mockingly, pointing at the necromancers and their minions from where she was fluttering above them. "You can't even handle a simple meathead and a virgin wizard!"

"Tania, please do not make light of this situation...and try to keep the team insults to a minimum." The elf stated seriously from the back line, intent to make sure nothing got through the others.

"Ahaha, I'm a pixie. Not taking anything seriously is in the job description." Tania replied lightly as the first wave was utterly thrashed by their comrades. Of course, it didn't seem like the necromancers took too kindly to that, no. Idiot. They should be running by now. No one was gonna get past her and her pretty little elf. The berserkers charged forward, alongside their pet death worms. Wow, someone couldn't name things for shit. "Ahaha, man those badly named worms look like they eat more than I do." Tania laughed lightly. "Take that however you want, heh!" Turning back to Lena, the Pixie gave her a thumbs up. "You stay here babe. I'ma go play with the necromancers."

"...send them my sympathies."

"Eeeeh?! You're supposed to cheer for me you know."

"Somehow I find that difficult to do when you play with people."

"Tsk, no respect." Tania pouted briefly before saluting and zipping off through the chaos. It was probably an odd sight, if one could see it. A small pixie flitting through the battlefield so effortlessly. Or perhaps it wasn't odd at all. Flying above the Berserkers and Death worms was easy, when they couldn't get you. Finally reaching halfway to where the necromancers were, Tania decided to have a little mischief.

"Hey! Ya necrophiliac!" She shouted. "Your gonna love this present, trust me!" It was always so easy to play with peoples senses as a Phantasmal Lord. She could turn allies against each other by messing with their perception. She could confuse them, making their bodies wholly believe left was right. And not to mention the oh-so-fun charm spells! But for now...she settled something for a little more cruel. These necromancers wanted to play with the dead? She'd indulge them. A mass illusion spell was so easy. Draining, but so easy as long as she didn't get super in depth.

Suddenly, for the necromancers it would appear as though several of their undead turned against them. It was nothing more than a visual and auditory illusion with no physical substance, but it would hopefully do their job of distracting them long enough to interrupt their spell casting. Lena, meanwhile, was busy holding the rear.

"Everyone!" Slamming the ground with the bottom edge of her shield, Lena shouted. "We shall not let these filth into the guild hall! Stand firm!" A sudden wave of protective energy would wash over those fighting, reducing physical damage quite a bit so they wouldn't be so afraid of getting injured.

Damn it! Before she could engage again, the creature fled. The wispy, dark miasma leaving along with her. Narrowing her eyes, Kat lowered her bow, the swords that passed as her arrows vanishing in an instant. Ugh, so many people. Always complicated things like letting the quarry get away. Even if it was true she was nothing more than a scavenger, Katarina had no intention of letting such an obvious danger to humanity stay loose. Turning her attention to the gathering of girls, the hunter gave each of them a brief look over.

"I am not sure where the name 'Wrought Iron Hero' comes from," Katarina replied curtly. "but thanks to you all interrupting, that creature has fled." Well, at least they were making themselves useful by saving those that they could. Whoever made those spirits obviously weren't intending on making a thorough job of it, were they? What was there purpose then? Fear? Katarina didn't know, and it didn't matter. They just needed to be found and dealt with. Sighing, Katarina let her bow dissolve into nothing.

"Any idea on who summoned those spirits?" Katarina asked, approaching Amaryllis. She'd hunt that scavenger later. The main issue here was someone who seemed to actively be attacking people.
