Following a brutal 20 year long war, ending the use of a now identifiably volatile and unsafe energy nicknamed "Dogma", the world has entered a scientific age of industry, the Industrial Age as scholars have noted it for now. With the emergence of airships as a common form of transport, the invention of the cartridge for firearms already well-known at the time, and the birth of Magitek, has caused society to make leaps and bounds that even it's population fears being left behind. Many however recognize these rapidly changing times as the time to get busy, or truly be left behind.

Your story begins at the cusp of a new age following this era that is about to end. The individuals that will forge the era to come, as heroes, or villains, out of interest, duty, or the thrill of adventure and battle. From the bottom up you will elevate to the levels of legendary heroes and gods, the final frontier of fantasy. Become revered, for your power, for your deeds, or become feared beyond compare.

This is Final Fantasy, Reverence

(Note: It is not required to be allied or from a country to use these classes,
you simply need to have an explanation why you would have them otherwise.)

STRUCTURE

The RP will be structured in parts, separated by the different nations. For example the first part will all take place in Raelin, and then Escain, and then so on. Each part ends when the major story segment ends, and everyone's characters must be moved to the next nation for the start of the next part. After the major story arc for each nation ends, there will be a grace period for everyone to wrap up business or start business that links them to the next nation. Near the end of the each story arc I will inform everyone what the next nation will be.

Though I should not yet worry about that, each story arc is while short in structure, will be expected to last a decent amount of time.

I want to stress the fact that each new nation we go to will be a great chance for people to join, or for you to create a new character.

The approaching Assaults were taken down fairly easily... Or so it seemed, as their bodies were chunked, they kept moving with unchanging ferocity. Even missing a head they continued onwards. On the other hand, compared the precision-based solutions of Gideon, the more brutal solutions of Wrath and Souta were more effective at stopping them. Their bodies split in two, still moving, were considerably slower, and Souta almost completely shattered the one that chose to rush him, decidedly ending it, while Wrath and Gideon were left to either finish off what was left.

They had to finish them quickly though, the larger one with the same corruption was beginning to edge out of the forest, though it's mass seemed more like mashed up flesh then a coherent beast. Yet here it was, somehow a coherent beast. Regardless it seems they've found out something about how these beasts work... One thing was clear though, they were most certainly already dead, and moving purely with just what they assume is Vega's demonic power.

Into the Deep Blue Sky

@kapuchu@Lmpkio

Despite their... Contrasting powers, and their differences, the angel and demon's attacks were more than simply effective. The flash freeze and flash fire following it, with the force and penetration of the spears caused a majority of the golem to shatter spectacularly, in a flurry of frozen stone, or molten rock. Those closer would even be met with a great shockwave to blast them back, and enough to cause the party to falter, yet it was a very decisive strike, leaving the core of the golem more than simply vulnerable, almost entirely exposed and even a bit damaged by the blast itself. There was ample time to finish it off here. The shockwave knocking away even some stones it would've used to reconstitute itself.

Yet of course, they couldn't become complacent, this golem was essentially immortal until it's core was exposed, and while they could do the same thing again, it was a pretty specific setup. Had they used a different combination of attacks, they probably could not replicate this.

Putting the Scraps Together

@ConteAmarula@Lazo

The men on the walls with their guns just watched in awe as the two demons below, not only fighting each other for kills, also massacred the oncoming demons... Many of which with jaws open and were too transfixed on watching the carnage...

"What are you all doing?! Give them covering fire!", the soldiers snapped out of it and fired at demons on the outliers. As they learned from previous charges, aim to stop them first, because it seems they can continue on without heads or even most of their bodies. Which didn't really mater at all to Mavvlosia and Fenn, who completely with their attacks obliterated their targets. The rapid ripping and powerful strikes of the female demon, and the hellhound whose jaws and claws shredded anything they came into contact with. It was a beautifully brutal display. Truly they were some of the top demons Hell had to offer.

Soon the waves would approach the other parts of the wall and they would need to adjust, not too much of a problem, as the horde began to wane.

Fenn however would charge deeper into the forests ahead, on the trail of a familiar scent, yet as he did and pursued, striking down demons, he would find nothing but the truth to how these demons were formed. Coming into a clearing, there were a large number of slain demons, fresh, very fresh. Yet amidst their blood, he could not tell where the scent of Vega led anymore, just that he was here. Before he could dismiss this and head back, he noticed that the corpses left behind began to stand up, the familiar, purple energy rising up from them before wrapping and taking the place of their wounds, reconstituting them... It was clear to Fenn now what and who was responsible for these unique abominations. Yet as he watched them he heard shrieks amidst the trees... Another wave was coming for the wall. He could head back now and help with the defense, or slaughter these fresh ones, yet there were many, and that may take some time.

Repentance

@Lmpkio

Sevrin stepped back to give Ferrus some room as he watched him make his decision. So he would charge Vega head on? Personally, Sevrin had no idea how strong he was at all. He could simply be speaking big, but based on evidence, it can be assumed that Vega has sufficient demonic power restored to go into direct confrontations, and without any of the limitations of a physical body to boot, very different from when Sevrin was possessed. During which, he was both weak in demonic power, and was limited by his body's strength. Relying mainly on the Devil Arms he had stolen to fight on par with others. Here though...

As Ferrus made his charge, the demons were set back, screeching with rage as a molten wall forced them to step away. Vega gave an amused face before his visage was erased by the flaming angel's blasts of fire, sent straight from his sword. Dust blew up around him, it seemed to work, for a moment, until Vega's voice rang out,

"Hahahahaah! I like you! So you're gonna pay for the meal yourself, what a gentleman", the dust cleared in an instant as what appeared to be a jet black wing flapped it away, called forth by Vega, before disappearing. Though black... It was clearly that of an angel's, and not like the demons who imitate the visage of angels either. There was no time to properly confirm this, as it was only visible for but a short glimpse, disappearing into his cloak.

As soon as Ferrus was back in stance, the demons he had warded off earlier were jumping him. Before he could respond himself, they were soundly slashed out of the air. It was Sevrin, having jumped into the air with Kerberos and slashing them with the knives.

"I'll take care of them, you just... Try not to get us killed", Sevrin clearly thought this was a bad idea, but it'd be worse to leave Ferrus behind. Afterall doing so would also put him under great suspicion, coming back alone and all. He sighed briefly before he prepared himself for the rest.

"Kuahahahahaha! Well then you heard the man, try not to get yourselves killed", Vega raised a hand at Ferrus, beckoning him tauntingly.

This is so far what it will be for status effects and leveling. It is subject to having more added between chapters to balance things in case something gets out of hand in that chapter, so keep that in mind.
Hmmm looks good. May want to inquire about who his friends are though but I'll save that for later.

Right now I'm getting the things I mentioned done. May be seeing an OOC today or tomorrow.
The party had been decided, so it appears. They had all the types of adventurers they needed and then some, but did they have the supplies, is what crossed Kyoshiro's mind. An exploration trip could be as short as a day, or as long as two weeks, depending on how deep the ruins were. So to be safe and not overload, around at least a few days worth of supplies were needed. Plum filled rice balls or rice sake crossed his mind, as some of the things he brought on long journeys, unfortunately they were in rare supply here, as this was not his homeland. Though as soon as his thoughts drifted to that he heard a voice in the distance, looking over, he saw a girl in his homeland's traditional garb, with a large assortment of items from his homeland, more than he had ever seen here in one place. Usually Akitsushiman items and goods were scattered about, but here everything was neatly put together.

"Well, I say we meet back here, we will need supplies for the trip and job afterall", he suggested to everyone. If that was agreed the first place he would head to was the merchant, and one other in their party had the same idea, but likely for different supplies. It was the timid boy to be their healer.

He browsed the wares, and as soon as the young merchant was done tending to a customer, he asked his question. His own features and garb should give away his own origin too.

"It is rare to see another of my homeland here. By chance do you carry Akitsushiman shortswords? The one I have here is of this land, as our own are harder to come by", he began.

"While I am here, I'd also like some of the sake and rice balls", there weren't many weapons on display, mostly for... Display. She seemed to carry a bunch of necessities and novel goods though.

Yep, that is correct. Limit Break no longer requires the stat indicator, since it's strength now scales with the Limit Points used to execute it.
Hikari Inyouji

Moved to Zone 5

As agreed, Hikari went with the two girls. He kept a small distance behind them, at the very least he could watch their backs, but perhaps he stayed a bit too far, as he seemed to have lost them momentarily. He sighed after realizing he had lost sight of them, but decided it would be best to push on anyways, and so he did.

Soon he would make it through, coming out the other side, after looking around he spotted the girl Houki staring off into the distance, with a look of despair in her eyes. With reluctance he turned his gaze in the same direction, and what he saw was... Well, let's just say he now understood that look in her eyes. They were just mock villains right...? But even so, this was certainly quite the act if they were. He breathed in and out, slowly, before realizing that this was probably a better chance for him, than rescuing some dummies. His quirk was not suited for that kind of work whatsoever... But this, well maybe with some help from others they can do this.

"Houki, could you go find uh... What was her name again... Minami? Or anyone else. I'll go in first, my quirk can disrupt the villain from a distance", if he gets into his maximum range, which wasn't too far, or too close at least. "So for now, just gather up whoever can help out to at least chase them away, we can't rescue anyone while they're here to stop us".

If that was decided, then fortunately, there was a lot of debris around, he could sneak around using that as cover to get in range and hurl something made of his quirk at her. He could throw a ball, like a flashbang, or a knife which he did for fun because it was cool. Well decidedly he went with the throwing knife, as soon as he was around a little over a dozen feet, he'd form a small knife with his magic, and threw it in the direction of the villain. Now that he was this close was able to identify her... A lady in a Victorian style dress and a parasol? How peculiar. Well that aside, she seemed to have someone in her grasp already by the looks of it, perhaps his arrival was timely. In any case, his heart was already beating fast, this was his first time using his quirk to fight.

@KoL @TheWindel
Ah, Limit Break skills now no longer have scaling, but their power scales with how many Limit Points you decide to spend when you use it.

For example if you used the summon Agni with one Limit Point, then it'd be about as strong as a normal skill, but if you used 5, then you'd be able to summon a large phantom of Agni to execute a powerful attack.

It may be better to describe what the escalation is. I see you are using the old version of the system, so you may want to review skills in the sheet. @CaptainSully@Hero

There were a lot of problems with people obtaining Limit Break 3 skills too early that they'll never use to start with, so I figured this way you can obtain Limit Break skills at your own pace.

Anyways, before I can fully open the two things need to be done (which I will be working on), Status Effect rules, and How To Level Up. The latter is tied to progression in this RP which is by pursuing quest chains or lore stuff.
Vega Ashcroft

Guildmaster's Office > ???

@Reflection@Hitman

As the two stepped into the office, as Kukan began to talk it became abundantly clear to the two that they were to be set on a mission, though his scowl was ever-present as one would have come to expect from him. Despite his simply A rank status, he was able to match the S ranks of the guild quite handily, a fact that he keeps in mind, and makes sure it stays that way. It seems they were to be sent to hunt a mage, a dark mage no less and a powerful one based on the description. Perfect, mage-hunting was the kind of thing Vega was suited for.

"Space Shift!"

"Huh?", his scowl twisted slightly in surprise. So the old man's already set everything up? Normally they'd be allowed to go out and grab what they needed... Perhaps that had been prepared, well regardless as soon as the spell ended, Vega took a few steps forward into the landscape before them.

"Well that's convenient. 'Paid handsomely' he better be right about that", well usually Kukan was good for that. He knew that much at least. In the distance he saw a small structure of some sort, based on how it looked, was a guild hall. Probably the guild hall of the ones getting attacked.

"Anyway you can take your time, I'm headin' over. You ain't good with crowds anyway so go sulk somewhere nearby instead, maybe you'll see our target in the distance", as tauntingly as he says it, there is a point to be had. There's no cover for miles here, this large open spring field, you could see anyone approaching from miles around. Likely they already saw the two of them. In any case without waiting he was heading off to the hall.
