Welcome to Millington, a town that appears humble on the surface, yet hides layers of secrets beneath it.
Millington is located on the west side of the United States, a couple hours or so away from any major cities. Mostly untouched, the town still retains much of it’s natural beauty and has become a destination for camping vacations. The town is known for it's large surrounding forest and it's historical silver mines within the nearby mountains, which tourists often make pit stops to tour through. While the people may not be as breathtaking, Millington hides it well.
Until now, Millington believed itself to be a quiet and safe town. Unfortunately for the Reese family, their father, the last remaining parent, and youngest child, only two years old, have gone missing.
Our story begins here, with a large family of nine unexpectedly being reduced to six. Who, much like the rest of the population in Millington, has many secrets of their own. Each member of the family afraid to tell another person, fearing judgement or worse; allowing their life to come crashing down. Now, the eldest siblings must try to pick up the pieces despite their own personal issues. Trying to keep the family from falling apart would prove more difficult than it looked.

The Reese family consists of dirty blonde or red haired (we could go with full blonde or light brown as well) characters with either blue or green eyes. They also have their family diner, The Queens Orchid, which every family member will work in (unless too young). Please see the description in the "Millington Town Guide". Please keep these in mind if applying to be a part of the family.
We will accept more positions. Feel free to suggest some!
Best Friend: (You may play the role of any character’s best friend once cleared with the user.)
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: (You may also play the role of any character's significant other once cleared with the user.)
Only two characters at a time may have any one secret. If it is crossed out, that secret is completely taken.
Each character may only have one secret at a time. When that secret is resolved (or outed), you may pick a new one. Your character may be involved with multiple of these if you wish, but it must not be a secret. Example: A homosexual who does not hide their sexuality, but has a different hidden secret. If you feel that your characters story must have another secret accompany it, feel free to discuss with me. I will allow it if I feel that it fits. This should be a rare occasion, don't take advantage. We do this so that we don't have 5 characters all being alcoholics, etc. Keep it interesting.
Do not give away your secret - only PM it to @The Muse as stated in the Rules - we'd like to keep it as a sort of guessing game to find out who has what secret. It is up to you whether or not your character shares their secret with other characters as it progresses. Some secrets will be more obvious than others to the reader, but not IC.

Located in the suburbs, near the river on the east side of town.
For those who cannot afford the finer things in life; they tend to live in these low income apartments. Located on the west side of town, considered the ghetto.
1st level dorm rooms.
2nd level dorm rooms.
3rd level dorm rooms.
For those who can afford the finer things in life. The Oakland is a rich gated community, in which large (usually two story) houses can be found. Only the highest classes of people live here. Located on the east side of town, on top of the hill.
Located about 30 minutes outside of the city. Most people here seek something a little quieter and own ranches, farms, etc.
For students of a college level, located in the heart of town.
Millington High supports grades 8th - 12th. Located near the Cherry Blossom Park, on the back end of the east side of town. Right next to Millington Grade School.
Supporting grades Kindergarten - 7th grade. Located near the Cherry Blossom Park, on the back end of the east side of town, right next to Millington High School.
Located in the heart of town, near the Millington University where they draw much of their clientele from college students. A simple diner called The Queen's Orchid that has since been passed down to the eldest of the family, which was the Reese parent’s pride and joy.
Now that the parents are gone, each sibling is taking over a new role in the diner. The eldest daughter has become the owner and lead manager.
Too hot out? Come visit Divine Flavors! In the heart of town, near the Palace Nine Shopping Center.
Best damn pizza in town! Or well... only pizza place in town. You want some greasy, pizza goodness? Oasi is the place to order from! Located across the street from The Queen's Orchid, which is in the heart of town (near the Millington University)
A cute hole in the wall restaurant, Giovanni's is located on the east side of town on top of the hill near The Oakland residents. It is famously known and is one of the best restaurants in town.
A beautiful park on the back end of the east side of town, complete with a greenhouse and a children’s playground open to the public.
This shopping center consist of a variety of stores and also includes The Roxy Cinema Theater. Located in the heart of town, near to Millington University.
Planet Rose is one of Millington's hot spots. Guests can eat and drink to their hearts' desires, while singing and dancing like fools or professional divas!
The lounges: 21+ communal, family-friendly communal, various private group lounges Individual rate for less than 10 people: $8/HR Group rate for 10 to 15 guests: $80/HR Premier Suites for large parties/groups: $125/HR
A strip club on the west side of town, complete with a nice lounge and bar in the front and a literal party in the back.
Fierce Five is a very large gym located on the west side of town, maybe ten minutes away from the MillCreek Hollow apartment complexes. They constantly have classes going on, including yoga, boxing, spin classes and more!
Located near Millington University.
Located on the northern outskirts of town, people come here to pray and seek a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.
Located behind Our Lady of the River Church.
