As much as Palis may have desired it to be, there weren’t quite nearly as many casualties as predicted. Certainly, there were those who wound up dead in the streets, but the combined efforts of Magical Girls had prevented what could have been a greater loss of life. By choice or chance, the long night had passed through the actions of both sides, be it by fun or duty. Even the Mascots had taken some notice in the chaos under night; how could they ignore such a mess?

Out of all the strange anomalies, what caught their interest the most were the appearance of Aegis and Palis; not to mention the impressive efforts laid out by the Black Knight for the dark girls and Angelite and Bastion for their light counterparts. There was no doubt they would be kept secured in the memory of the Mascots; though this was hardly the time for judgement of doubt. Not even a day had passed before Miso City had made a public announcement.

The result that no one had wanted came to pass; Miso City High would be cutting short its Winter Break in the attempt to horde students back to school quicker. The logic of keeping students safe within the walls of education and under the watchful gaze of actual authority was none too pleasing, especially for the Detention Club President. Indeed, even now as Touka entered the classroom, a mildly annoyed expression was left painted on her face.

Sure, New Year’s was only a day away and they had no school during that time, but as soon as that period ended it was right back to the classroom. Just thinking about it had Touka rolling her eyes. It wasn’t like cutting their break short was going to enlighten the humans on those mysterious deaths. Nor would it bring back the dead to the world of the living. What was most concerning, however, was that neither Aegis or Palis had been sighted since that night.

The President had figured that maybe at least one of them had been playing disguise in their school but so far her hunt had turned up short. Though it wasn’t a hasty deduction; after all, more than half of the Magical Girls within Miso City all went to Miso City High anyway. Even now Touka waved at a few of her club members in the shared class, taking her seat and staring out at the snow outside. Was she supposed to just treat the day like any other?

No. No, of course not. As soon as the day ended, and the Detention Club met, there would be many discussions to be had. Her eyes continuing to stare blankly at the icy landscape outside, Touka’s mind briefly flashed to Chiaki and she wondered what the former President was doing right about now. Then she cast those thoughts aside once her arm throbbed in a smidget of pain. She looked none the worse for wear since that fight with Aegis but the bitch’s blade still stung. At least New Year’s was less than twenty-four hours away…

@I Need A Name

Elaborate on Exposing Vulnerability. Are you saying she can strip away the magical layer of a Magical Girl to expose their human flesh? Elaborate on Denied Love as well. Does her strikes work in the same way as Exposing Vulnerability? Same with Decaying Touch. The next two are fine and acceptable. Finally, elaborate on Corruption. Are you saying any magic doesn't work on her or she can't be purified easily?
We have our 200th post.

• Weight: 149 cm | • Weight: ---
• Name: Palisade "Palis"
• Title: ---
• Age: Unknown
• Emblem: ---
• Description: A mysterious girl with a carefree attitude who arrived in the city in the wake of a grave tragedy. Little is known about her aside from the recent revelations of being a Demon as well as responsible for a Magical Girl's death. Seemingly, she hosts control of various Nightmares and speaks of justice. For whatever reason, she has a scorning grudge against Aegis.

@Noxx

She looks fine enough for me now. Wait for @KoL's opinion.
I will be moving us along in my next post, which will come some time in the middle of the coming week.

Who will take the 200th IC post, I wonder.

Alright, this was getting annoying. The same wave of forced fear from before had swept over Houki like a storm breaching through. No doubt it was the Hag’s Quirk, a deduction that would have served Houki well before engaging in her. But no, here she was, forced to feel her mind being overridden yet again by the same aura of hopelessness and despair. Well, as much as forced emotion could give. At the bottom of it all, there was instead the inverse of what the Hag imparted upon her.

Even as her body reacted on its own, Houki observed the scene with more frustration than anything else. She rather disliked having her movements controlled without her regard. She disliked the Hag reaching her even more, eyes twitching behind her glasses even as sweat trickled from both the heat of the environment and her own heart slamming into her chest. The desire to burn a hole through this villain was becoming increasingly more bearable….

Unfortunately, before such dark thoughts could escape to the open, something else forcibly took over her body. “Now what,” she grumbled softly, hearing a terrible, horrible singing voice rumbling in her ears. It sounded distinctly like Kaito but surely no one person could sing that badly, could they? But be it by choice or chance, the screeching was doing wonders for her head. Her focus was, surprisingly, coming back together with her mind purged of the fear-torn thoughts of before.

That meant all that earlier frustration was bubbling up again and she turned a red-eyed glare back at the Hag. “You’re terrible at your job,” was all she said before working to unleash another set of beams. And this time, she didn’t bother to hold back because frankly, this entire test of sorts had very nearly singed the last of her patience. More aggression meant more power after all and Houki fired off without care once again right at the Hag. Whether her comment was directed towards the Hag, Kaito, or anyone else was beyond reasoning to care for.

[Shooting the Hag vehemently.]

@LuckyBlackCat

Alright then. So far she's fine by me. Await @KoL's judgement.
@LuckyBlackCat

One more thing. For Reverb's time limit, how many minutes have to pass for her to be able to use it.
@LuckyBlackCat

What I mean is, for Reverb, does she need play a note at the same exact time as an ally's attack like Overdrive.
