@tobiaxCC=Crowd Control, though A.O.E works as well. Basically, he can use dust to make attacks that will likely effect the area around him, with a focus on restricting or repositioning his opponents. As for the white fang connection, I've hade it be in the previous incarnations of this character that he has had some connection with the White Fang, usually as a foreign member, as he harbors a rather intense prejudice against humans, as well as Faunus who he deemed to be 'domesticated' by their attempts to hide their animalistic features. I could likely work something similar here, only I'm not sure if it fits this time around. This Silme is a lot more mild for most of his life, and it isn't until recent events that he has gained his view of all humans as being untrustworthy and self-serving.

As for the appearance thing, I preferred to wait until I got to a computer before writing something like that up, as I tend to ramble and what not.

Edit: As a side note, what do you think of the Semblance? The theme I'm building Silme around is the Fenrir myth, or at least, my interpretation of the myth that cast the wolf in a more sympathetic light. While I think I have a good idea for the personality down and backstory, I'm having trouble coming up with a good semblance. The one I have now seems okay, but if you have any ideas on how to improve the concept or any other possible ideas, I'd love to hear them.

I'm not going to restrict your character's beliefs for this. He can be a White Fang Sympathizer just fine. Being under direct orders, however, might be a bit tricky. Thanks for clearing up CC.

Not what I meant exactly. I meant the image. It's cool though. (And I occasionally read Silme as slime for some reason. My eyes just trick me that way.)

Ah, I see. I'd suggest a lash-like weapon or something, but that's just me. I do like Silme's Semblance- even moreso with that in mind.

@tobiax

Forgot to mention... if you need help with the GMing or making stuff, I'd be happy to help.

Oh, thanks, that's much appreciated. I'll keep you in mind.

- Welcome to Remnant, world of Monsters, danger, Dust, and Huntsmen. At the belly of the Northern Seas, there rests an island known as Vytal. Sure, everyone knows its name- it's synonymous with the end of the War, but what it looks like? Well, people don't seem to care that much really. Now, why do I bring up a podunk place like Vytal? Because you're there, that's why. You all had your own reasons for coming- but I won't comment on those. But probably the best thing left in Vtyal, or the only thing worth while in the speck of a village in which you find yourselves, is a blacksmith's shop, called 'the Core's Hammer'.

I've been really wanting to write in Remnant for a while now, but didn't have an idea of my own. And- with no other RWBY RP's popping up, well, I finally came up with an idea of my own, and thought about it enough to bring it to an interest check. This RP will focus on older Huntsmen and Huntresses, rather than first-year students. That doesn't mean students can't be in the RP, but they'd be older and more independent, and able to mingle with semi-seasoned Huntsmen and Huntresses in their own right.
This RP will be partially character driven, partially plot based. Said plot will begin when the Huntsmen and Huntresses gathered in the Core's Hammer hear about a mysterious event. Strange Creatures of Grimm with odd, almost elemental abilities have been spotted. Only you can find out where they come from, and why.
I shouldn't have to go really in-depth with rules here. Just follow the standards of the forum, don't be a jerk, and write for fun, and we should all get along fine. If you have any questions, just ask me beforehand.

The Forge

Run by Maroon Awit, Core's Hammer is an oasis for the creative Huntsman or Huntress. Supplies can be gathered from all around, making for the finest built weapons, armor, and armaments this side of Sanus. At least as far as Maroon is concerned. Core's Hammer consists of a fenced in front area hanging containing a sign, a decorative anvil, several weapon racks, and two large quenching troughs- one on either side. The shop's entrance way serves as the main work area, where those with the Lien can rent tools for work, trade metals, and order armaments. The back wall is covered in a haphazard array of lock boxes, crates, and lockers, all for holding the belongings of various clients. Behind this wall, cordoned off by thick hanging cloth in two doorways, lie several work areas of more access and detail than those in the shop's front. While the ones in the front are mainly set for touch-ups and material tests, stations in the main room are equipped with the tools and materials needed to perform a standard job, complete with vertical quenching troughs, small ovens, anvils, and a stand of tools. In the back of Core's Hammer, there are special rooms for those with more involved projects, or projects that involve somewhat more dangerous materials.

The Village

Mission is a quaint, quiet place. It houses an inn called "The Fleece Cloak," across from which is Core's Hammer Forge, and several abodes, with the occasional vendor of standard goods. Dust imports are hard to come by, unless a caravan happens by- which is rare- or a Huntsman or Huntress decides to trade for work or materials at the Forge. At Mission's northern edge, between the village and the coast, is a dark grove of swampy trees where one rarely goes.

Important Characters-

Antagonists-

Please follow the format of the Character Sheet. If you think of something to add, great, go ahead, but leave most things in the location for where they're asked. It just helps me know where to look for things, instead of them being in different places for different characters. If you think of something new, but aren't sure where to put it, the 'Other' section is a great catchall. You don't need to leave the Character Sheet centered, it's just easier to show you that way. I would, however, prefer that the categories remain emboldened and a visible color be picked for the text, thanks : )

I hope you find this interesting, and are willing to go along with me on this. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions, please, don't hesitate to ask me. I'm more than willing to help in any way I can.
Welcome Aboard!
@Krayzikk Also, please individual links for character theme(s) instead of a giant unguided playlist?
@Raijinslayer I've noticed you being in and out. And from a phone I can understand the spelling errors, but please clean them up at a later time. Also, what does CC attack mean? Also, tell me this White Fang thing.
also i made an appereance section for a reason use it people ag

<Snipped quote by tobiax>

The Semblance absolutely needs a rework, and finding a different picture is easy enough. I'll work on a second draft when I get to sit down later, but is there anything else that needs tweaking?

Not going to lie, I like it as a trait, but then some things are going to need to be tweaked, and it just can't be a Semblance. Maybe a bit of the history as well?
I do have a mkre long range character in my vault if that becomes a factor for getting accepted.

Shouldn't be a problem. The character(s) I'm bringing in already cover(s) range fairly decently. Plus it'll make things more interesting.
Honestly, i'm surprised that i seem to be the only one to app faunus. Also, lots of atlas representation in thid group as well.

As of yet, yes. And that is a touch surprising yeah. I had expected more. Yeah, there is a lot of Atlas, but with Lemons, it can't be helped.
@HueManExcept you didn't because Genos is a cyborg for justice and revenge

@Krayzikk I get what you mean. I know what Surtr is, however, it's still a bit too... on the nose. Plus the Semblance doesn't really work.
@AlternateMan So, there are some thematic disjoints and personality-to-combat inconsistencies that really stick out here. Also, your Semblance is way out there and doesn't really fit the character's personality all that much.
@HueMan Ye, but you're not literally either of them with the same themes. You weren't going for happy Genos, I just read your whole CS, and thought "this reminds me of a Genos". You also didn't pick an image that looks exactly like any of them. Okay, well, the hair, kind of like Mercury. The general facial structure and how he dresses and his motif(s)? Not like Mercury. Except from the knees down, haha.
@HereComesTheSnow Let me see what you've got.
