Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

I've been thinking. We don't necessarily need a fourth person. Three (plus me) can work just as well. Here's how it would work...
We would simply have three groups of two, a buddy system where one Earth person is paired up with one trainer from the Pokemon universe. With 'A', 'B', and 'C' representing each one of you, it would go like this. Earthling 'A' partners with Poke Trainer 'B' Earthling 'B' partners with Poke Trainer 'C' Earthling 'C' partners with Poke Trainer 'A'
With this formula, you will all be able to RP together, and we'll have three different plot lines moving at all times. This also works, because it doesn't seem like any of your Pokemon Universe Characters would be a stand alone villain.
So like this, it would be my job to keep the bad guys and challenges coming.
How does this sound to the three of you?
Also: Don't think that it would only be the two of your characters alone together at all times. In order to keep you safe and document your actions, each set of partners would also be supplied with two assistants (one researcher and one security guard). These would be side characters that you all would control.
I mean, why would the characters necessarily need to be villains? Perhaps they've little desire to deal with the rest of the people.
Ok, here's my Pokemon world character who just got approved over PM. She might work as one of the solo characters, though it'd be interesting to see her as part of a group.
Personality: Mililani was once an energetic and adventurous person. Now, that energy manifests as cynicism and a quick temper. She tends to focus on people's negative traits and assume the worst about them, until they prove themselves trustworthy - and in her eyes, it takes a lot to do that. She shows a friendlier side around her Pokemon, who have been her constant companions throughout her travels and the only ones who have stayed true to her.
Strongly disliking fake people, she values honesty, to the point that she can be blunt. She doesn't always live up to this value, however, as she tries to hide her more vulnerable, lonely side from others, insisting she's alright when she isn't.
Her curiosity isn't completely gone, although her desire to explore is tempered with wariness and a tendency to prepare for the worst.
History: Growing up in the beautiful Hau'oli City, Mililani preferred to spend her time outdoors rather than indoors. Her father, who ran a cosy little hotel on the seafront, appeared warm and charming towards the public, but showed his true, controlling side towards the family. To escape this toxic environment, Lani would hang out around the seafront and shops with her two closest friends, Lea and Kale. She'd also befriend the local Pokemon, turning out to take after her mother, a nurse, in personality - if she found a sick or injured Pokemon, she'd help them in any way she could.
Finally, her mother left the guy and moved with Lani to Iki Town. Lani still frequently met up with Lea and Kale, and after completing her schooling, set out with them on a Pokemon training journey. Her disillusioned mother warned her to be cautious, as people weren't always what they seemed.
At first, Mililani didn't think much about this. She was around people she trusted. Over time, though, she noticed Pokemon training had brought out a side to Lea and Kale she hadn't noticed before. It started with their joking mockeries of her starter choice, Popplio. Then, when Kale's Rowlet evolved into Dartrix, his attitude towards its ditziness turned harsh. He'd talk down to anyone who lost to him, including her, and push his Pokemon too hard while trying to be the best. Lea, meanwhile, displayed an elitist side that had come across as confidence in the past, and ditched the other two after befriending a group of other trainers she believed would be more helpful to her during her travels.
Setting off on her own, Mililani decided it was time for a change of direction, joining Aether Foundation. There were three reasons for this. Firstly, it would be a way to help Pokemon. Secondly, she reasoned they'd keep her in check in case being a trainer brought out a less than pleasant side to her. And lastly, it was a reminder that there were genuinely good people in the world, without any ulterior motives...
... Right?
As soon as she found out about their dirty secrets, she quit. Having given up on humanity, she travelled across Alola by herself, still studying and caring for the Pokemon she found, but with no idea where to go or who to turn to. As it turned out, her next destination wouldn't even be her choice. Freak storms swept the land, followed by an earthquake, and the next thing Mililani knew, she'd ended up in a strange, unfamiliar world.
Was it something to do with the wormholes she'd once studied, leading to other dimensions? She doesn't know, but working with the experts to find out is something she's reluctant to do. For all she knows, they could be trying to turn this to their advantage.
Pokemon Team:
Knowing she isn't the most popular Pokemon species in the world, Naia started out a little shy, but Mililani helped her build her confidence over time. Quieter and less showy that most in the Popplio line, she comforts distressed Pokemon by softly singing to them. She evolved all the way into Primarina in Alola, but found herself changed back into a Brionne on Earth.
While kind, he's a little mischievous, sneaking treats from his trainer's bag or tying knots in her hair when she's not looking. He has more of a healing role than a combat one, but will fight to assist and defend others.
Found as an abandoned Riolu, she warmed to Mililani and her team, becoming unwaveringly loyal. She has a prideful streak and loves competition, constantly pushing herself to become stronger and refusing to show any sign of weakness.
This peppy Pokemon first approached Mililani while the trainer was in the dumps after an argument with her travelling companions, and put on a pom-pom dance for her. Tiny yet brimming with energy, she spends most of her time in her electric form.
The peacekeeper of the team, Aouli calmly resolves arguments (usually started by Ohanna or Keahi), or at least tries to. While usually gentle, it's a bad idea to make him angry, especially by harming his trainer or teammates.
After Mililani chased a flock of menacing Mandibuzz away from him with her Primarina, the little wild Cubone decided to stay with her. His abundance of natural enemies made him cautious, a trait that remained even after he evolved, although he became much more feisty and began to respond to perceived threats by attacking. Naia, who acts like an adoptive mother to him, often has to calm him down with her songs.
Will have my Earth character soon.
Hope she never runs into Jason. He's going to see through her BS and call her on it XD And I mean that in a kind way.
I recently learned that Enalais is dropping the RP as well, which does make things a bit more difficult on me. I would have a difficult time taking over for him on plots that I don't know that much about. For those not in the Discord, we have been talking over perhaps doing a reboot on this RP. The setting would be the same, and you could use the same characters if you wish, perhaps some of the same events, depending. I do want to keep some of the freeform style that the RP began with, but I would want to focus on a smaller number of plots to prevent this from happening again.
I was wanting to ask everyone's opinion on if they would prefer to reboot this RP, or attempt to move ahead with what we have currently?
I'm fine with where we are. Outside of consolidating Orro's power and finishing the collab with Britton and Sep, Ena didn't really have any plots.
Wrath, during the entire exchange, stood dumbfounded, Rage Bringer resting it's tip against the stone he stood on. Before him stood another member of his race, another Nephilim, a being forged of the bones of Angel and Demon. How, when...WHO?! Over and over again, he tried to figure out who would have had not only access to the bones, but knowledge of the process needed to create a Nephilim. Not only that, but there were supposedly three others, three other Nephilim, beings not only like himself, but, as he watched the powers of those caught in Void's attack vanish, incredibly powerful, more powerful than he was from what he had seen.
As the Umbran Witch appeared and engaged Void, Wrath slowly recovered as he realized that Sevrin was getting away and that Lily and Fenn would need aid to engage him. As he stirred himself, he pulled his greatsword free of it's stone resting place and put it on his back before going into a dead sprint to try and catch up with the pair of Demons before they ended up in over their heads. As it were, he was entirely unaware that Nero was already down there and was therefore unaware that it would be a four on one.
Except that, halfway down, a familiar rumbling echoed from the bottom of the path, which drew a groan from the Nephilim before he yelled after the pair. "He's already destroyed the Seal! Clear out!" Turning on his heel, he began to high tail it back the way he'd come. When he broke through the doorway, Zarrath was waiting with a squad of angels, a pair of new nicks on his armor from his duel with that demon, and Kushiel and his spear retrieved. Stopping to look at those who hadn't gone down the tunnel as well, he sighed.
"I'm sorry, but I think there's something we're not being told. Make of that what you will." And with that, the Nephilim and Angels were in full retreat, heading to a nearby evacuation point to avoid whatever fate was about to befall the island and it's jungle.
It was still early afternoon in Paris, France, when the call came into Jason's new cellphone. "Hello?" He had managed to pick up French fairly quickly after arriving on this strange world known as Earth but three months prior, but English had proven more difficult, though he was confident in his grasp of it at this point in the interim. Around him his team was spread out, with Slayer and Gaia having a debate about one thing or another. The voice that answered him had a clear French accent in their English.
"Hello, Blader. We've just recieved word and a shipment from the US. They finally made working Pokeballs, thanks to the Professors." This brought a smile to the trainer's face as he stood and approached the door to the balcony, where he leaned against the railing.
"Excellent. We've been getting restless sitting in this hotel, even if the view is beautiful," three streets over had the Eiffel Tower after all, "and the food is excellent. How long before we can hit the road?" On the balcony beside him was Prankster, who looked longly at the skies above him, but knew that he couldn't, because most people were still coming to terms with their new residents. Slayer soon joined the pair, leaning against the wall to the right of the door while Crunch remained in his corner, snoring as he napped. Gaia had taken up her spot against the foot of the bed on the floor, still grumbling to herself as Tracer came over and attempted to comfort her, friend to friend. And, true to his nature, Lucky remained near the door to their room, seemingly asleep, but truly using his ability to sense Aura to keep watch as he always has.
While waiting for an answer, Jason couldn't help but look back at the last three months, starting with sudden appearance of a rift beneath him as he chased a rumor about Latias and his subsequent awakening in what he had learned was called the City of Lights, his team all around him and his Pokeballs non-functional. There had been chaos as police officers appeared all around and shouted at him in a language he hadn't understood. He attempted to explain what had happened, ask where he was, but they couldn't understand him any better than he understood them.
When firearms came out when he didn't comply with them, his team had wasted no time. Slayer unleashed a Psycho Cut, cleaving a car in two as Gaia attacked another with Night Slash. Crunch vanished with Dig before sending a group of officers flying after reappearing beneath them while Tracer sent others flying with a Surf and yet another car rent into pieces from an Air Slash from Prankster. Lucky rounded it off with an Aura Sphere that silenced everyone before yelling at the others. Though the officers had wanted to shoot after it all, government officials had arrived in time to talk them down before finding a way to let Jason know it was alright.
And now, here they were, sitting in a luxury hotel room waiting to begin an adventure on a new world. It was both exhilarating and terrifying, but he also knew that he had his team, so his fear was minimal.

If it hadn't been for the fact that he'd joined the National Guard and they'd instilled a sense of enjoying working out in him, the second part of the test would have whooped his butt. Or most of it anyways, since he'd only had a little bit of trouble with the chin-ups, but only that. The written, or computer, part had proven not as challenging as he'd thought, but still harder than he'd have wanted. He'd aced almost every question about the Pokemon themselves, though he was still pretty uncertain about the Fairy type, it messed with his preconception of Dragon-Type weaknesses.
Still, as he finished his lunch and was shown to the interview area, he was confident. Can't believe I'm going to become a real life trainer. Man, mom's gonna flip when I send her the news.
As the group walked, the very floors seem to wave, though the motion was far from sickening or causing them to loose their footing. The sounds of Boos laughing echoes through the halls, but telling just how far away it was, even as the large room grew closer. However, something that would soon begin to stick out is that the more distance they put between themselves and the front door, the more the light seemed to only focus around them, except for a few very widely spaced candles. It would seem that not even light played by it's usual rules in this strange place, and hopefully wouldn't prove to be an issue further on.
Eventually, one of the Boos in the large room noticed the group, but rather than attacking, they panicked and covered their faces with their pointed hands and freezing in place. At the edge of the room, it soon became apparent that the bottom of this room was...bottomless? And the only way across was dimly lit platforms that they had to jump to, along with tables that sprouted lights from their candles and began to move around. As soon as Slayer turned his back on the Boos, one began to move towards him, a wicked grin on its face, but it panicked once more when the Vampire turned back to face it, hiding it's face behind it's pointed hands again.
XP INITIATED!
GM Note: From now on, all players will be required to keep track of their word count. XP will be awarded every GM post. Be sure to check the XP hider to see how much XP your character earned. Remember to keep your CSes updated. I have seen players slack in keeping their XP up-to-date and they have lost XP points because of it. I didn't take the XP away from them, they just didn't keep track of the XP on their own. It is YOUR responsibility if you want your character to level.
P.O.
If a player is inactive for more than 3 days without letting the GMs know of any delays, then the player can be skipped over on the 4th day. If a player does not wish to post, they can Mention the GM and let the GM know he or she "Passes" on his or her turn.
Vent didn't let up even as the Forsworn retreated, firing after them less in an effort to kill them and more in an effort to discourage them from turning around and resuming their now obviously futile attack, the laser rounds pinging on the ground all around them and whizzing past their heads until they were out of range and then out of sight. The Mega Man sighed a breath of relief as they vanished, but as the Stormcloaks rushed forwards to secure the now fallen Maverick weapons, a part of him grew apprehensive. The weapon design was eerily similar to several of Mavericks he'd faced in his fights back home, though there were several that were foreign to him.
Not only that, but their familiarity only confirmed that these "Steel Gods" were indeed Mavericks of some kind, though he had to wonder if they might be from a separate timeline, or even from his world's past. This...could be trouble. But saying something serves no purpose, especially since I'm not sure of how strong they are... In a word like this, even the weakest of Mavericks would be akin to a god, slaying the humans here left and right with ease since their armor didn't seem proficiently strong to stop the blasts, if the way Ulfric and his "Stormcloaks" took cover was any indication. Still, to produce the weapons required at least a Pseudoroid level of strength, which would prove it's own unique challenge, as they had not only powerful weapons, but also powerful abilities that might prove difficult to handle for some of his teammates.
Then there was the part of him that wanted to stop the Stormcloaks and destroy the weapons outright, regardless of whether or not their allies could use the edge to even out the odds. They didn't belong here, in this world or in the hands of barbaric psychopaths who have no issues turning them on their fellows. But he knew that stripping their allies of a sorely needed even playing field was wrong, so he compromised with himself. He started to open his mouth to offer to teach the Stormcloaks how to safely wield and carry the weapons the the booming voices echoed through the land. Vent's reaction was similar to the Boss's, who's remark about leaving some of the enemy alive for him he ignored, and dove for cover, the ZX Blaster free of it's place on his leg and waiting for an attack that never came.
Instead, once silence had returned and Vent had relaxed and reholstered his Blaster, Ulfric offered both an explanation and a warning of what going meant. As was apparently expected at this point, the Boss declined going and said they would be wasting their time. From the Mega Man's personal experience in other parts of even his own world, only a fool ignored the summons of people who seemed as powerful and important to this world as the Greybeards. Asura verbally voiced this sentiment, though in much kinder, and many more, words that he himself felt like using. However, he knew more about the potential of the Steel Gods than the others, but with as uncertain as to their origin as he was, he had nothing truly helpful to offer. Instead, he did the next best thing.
"Then I'll go. You four can stick to our primary mission and I should still be able to communicate with you if the need arises. I agree ignoring the summons of these Greybeards is foolish, especially since we know only what Vault Boy offered us of the area." Of course, he wasn't sure that Piper wouldn't offer to go as well, but he felt reasonably sure that Ruben would stick to his orders, as he had so far proven to do.
I think Zarkun is reffering ONLY to his Pokemon universe character. He knows that his Earth world character has to go through the test first.
To answer your question directly, yes. Jason can venture the world with his Pokemon already, but his Pokeballs won't work anymore. So his Pokemon will have to be walking with him. I didn't make Cerces give up Liz's Pokemon; that was all her own doing.
But if he is found wandering the streets of some city, he's likely to be noticed, and they would surely try to recruit him. Also remember, he has no Earth money to start off with and speaks another language.
Finally, you didn't mention catching Pokemon, but he obviously can't do that without Pokeballs anyways.
So in short, if he wants to try and travel the world on his own, it won't be easy. But it's up to you.
Well, I primarily meant could he start in, like Tokyo and such is all.
