Zeref-Just like the Fairies/Damian Gerard-A Battle for Ages

Even as Time Lord's spell locked the pair in place, Zeref coolly turned his gaze first to Ash and then to Ariel. "You're just like those Fairies, standing between me and what's mine." With a wave of his hand, two black magic hands appeared, one back handing the fireball throwing girl into the trunk of a tree, where she'd find herself firmly stuck in it and the other sending the winged girl careening into the ground, where she would bounce a couple of times on impact before sliding to a stop. Then his black magic surged around him as he faced the bulk of the mages. "One hundred years ago, the Fairies and their allies stood before me to stop me from taking Fiore. It would seem their descendants and their allies are here to stop me again."

His magic flared up even more as a trio of dark magic spears formed behind him. "You're not the Fairies. You don't have their tenacity or their heart. You have no hope of stopping me." His gaze swept over the assembled wizards before settling on Time Lord, who was still actively trying to figure out how he had broken the holding spell he'd put on Ariel and Ash. "You're going to make this difficult, perhaps I deal with you first." Almost before anyone could react, the spears soared towards Time Lord, aiming to impale vital organs.

Damian, though still confused, called out a warning, but knew it was fruitless. And then it happened again as his magic flared, the black light of it filling his eyes as his Hermes Blades appear in hand. He dashes in between the spears and Time Lord, and as he slides, his Hermes Blades, become his new Hercules Blade and he slices, the wind slashes cutting the spears of black magic in two. "Look, I'm not entirely sure what's going on or why that asshole dropped me here, but I DO know that you're dangerous. So get rea-" The Blade of Phoenix Wing found himself cut off as more spears soared towards him and he countered. This only further annoyed the Black Mage.

"Vanish from my sight." A wave of dark magic surges before it rushes towards Damian and Time Lord and this time, he wasn't sure he could beat it. And then the voice returned, echoing through his mind as his perception of time slows.

Before ye stands the Bane of Man
The Black Mage who's shadow creeps
He shall now fell thee on this day
Awaken now, true Ares Blade!

In a flash of light, Damian's swords change again, moving from his new Hercules Blade to his Ares Blades before they changed before his eyes into a single slightly curved blade. Acting purely on instinct, he grabbed the hilt and unleashed a vertical upwards slash, unleashing the magic energy in a wave that cleaved the wave in twine, as Damian sheathed the katana in the traditional fashion, his eyes still alight with his magic energy.

Zeref, however, was largely unconcerned as he turned his attention to the others. As he looked them over, he came across a mage sporting a magitech arm wielding a sword and while he seemed to have winded himself, he seemed vaguely familiar. After a moment, it clicked and he unleashed a magical assault towards him. "Ah yes, Magus Ferrin. Mavis mentioned you on several occasions." And then he unleashed his magic upon everyone present, raining any number of black magical constructs and even engaging a couple of the mages himself.
Kinda just waiting for the right time to come in.
Elias grunted before signalling Tyrell to move up the ramp as the ship takes off and the turret and he offer covering fire as the security forces were forced to try and repel the Stormtroopers as the stations residents fled. By the time the ship was out of it's hangar, the pair was sitting in the crew quarters, the Imperial fleet busy with the station while they escaped. The Mandalorian didn't speak at first, preferring to let the silence stretch for a bit.

Finally, as a route was input to the navicomputer, he removed his helmet and locked eyes with the pirate. "Out with it. Why are you on my ship?"
James Hunt|A Test of Honor

A plan to move forward...well, James would admit that until they found these gangs, the plan was just to follow their trail, not that it wasn't hard anymore as it would seem they were coming to a more trafficked area. "Moving forwards is still tracking these people to their base here in the woods. I imagine if you two had waited long enough, you would have run into one of them instead of us." James loosened his sword in it's sheath as he moved forwards, spotting more of the trail ahead.

"I would also recommend drawing your weapons if it's practical to do now. I doubt we'll receive a friendly reception."
Hi, what's the rules on characters that aren't canon?

A) Depends on what you're asking about series wise.

B) We have an Academy thread for new characters in Free Play. I strongly recommend you apply there first.
I think the primary reason is for a non-traditional approach. Hell, in the OR Era, it could be they run at the same time etc etc. Point is, we have literary license here. What's wrong with saying yes if it's well written and the writer can prove they won't abuse it?
A lightsaber is useless in the hands of a non-force sensitive. Yes, they can use them (see Han using Luke's to cut open a tauntaun), but you pretty much need the force so you don't hack yourself in half during battle. Like Wraith said, there's no way 10,000,000,000,000 people (with most likely without direct access to the force) are walking around with lightsabers, even more so with modified lightsabers with a blaster function.

I didn't say non-force sensitive because I didn't mean non-force sensitive. I mean non-Jedi/Sith. There are other Force wielding sects in the galaxy, even in the era of the Old Republic. Hell, probably especially.
I feel I should point out that while Jedi and Sith were the primary wielders of lightsabers, there are plenty of examples where non-Jedi and non-Sith used them. And besides, who's to say someone, be they Jedi or Sith, wasn't also really good with a blaster and therefore opted instead to combine the two to take advantage of the skill?

Jason Tiberius Stark has inherited much of his father and his mother’s personalities, ranging from his mother’s kind heart to his father’s hot headedness. However, of those things, his father’s overconfidence stands out the most, as Jason is known to get into situations he likely can’t handle alone with full confidence that he can, and his mother’s caring heart of his mother’s personality traits, putting others well-being before his own on numerous occasions.

Strengths:
⇋ Hand-to-Hand combatant - Has learned three different forms of martial arts.
⇌ Proficient Swordsman - While many find it strange, Jason has taken the time to become quite the proficient swordsman.
⇌ Super Genius IQ -Between his schooling and natural talent, Jason has little issue understanding many things due to his 201 IQ.
⇌ Photographic Memory - If he has seen it or read it, he will remember it. So if you don’t want him to remember that one time in band camp...

Weaknesses:
☠ Headstrong- Tony’s line, “I have a plan, attack” is something Jason can sometimes take to heart too well. And he doesn’t give up on any kind of plan of action easily.
☠ Impulsive- Jason has been known to go with what comes to mind first, not stop and think things all the way through all the time.
☠ Too smart for his own good Sometimes Jason can figure out things he REALLY shouldn’t and it gets him in a ton of trouble.
☠ Sarcasm-He inherited his father’s sarcastic wit, which is not as great as it sounds.

Biography:
Jason Tiberius Stark was born to father Tony Stark and mother Pepper Potts seventeen years before the treaty that saw an end to the global conflicts between both Heroes and Villains. Two years later would see the birth of his younger brother Connor. The two boys grew up with want for very little, being the two sons of highly successful businessman Tony Stark. However, as the older of the two, Jason was held to a different standard, as he was supposed to inherit the greater majority of Stark Industries.

All his classes were designed to push his limits, both physically and intellectually, and he passed them all with the ease that one expected of Tony’s heir, even the physical classes. He spent a lot of time around the Avengers growing up, when he wasn’t working on his own suit of Iron Man armor, but he spent the most time with a man he would come to call Uncle Steve, known to the rest of the world as Captain America. And while Jason loved his tinkering, programming, and building, he also enjoyed learning things outside of the sciences, which lead to Uncle Steve teaching him his first martial art at age 11. From there, he went on to learn two more within the space of two years, his photographic memory helping him to learn and memorize the moves at a rate higher than that of his peers. By age fourteen, he had finished his first prototype of his own suit of Iron Man armor, and while it’s flight and weapons systems worked mostly as intended, there were, of course, adjustments to be made, but being based on his father’s own design, with pieces of his own flair thrown in, they were miniscule. He tried for three months to come up with something to improve or change, but nothing felt right.

It wasn’t until he had visited a renaissance fair with his mother and brother that he found it. One of the events being held was a sword fighting tournament, and the men and women who attended proved, though it was with wooden swords, that they wouldn’t have been out of place on the battlefields of old. Taken with inventive fever, he returns home and spends days reworking his suit of armor, reinventing it’s image and abilities. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into a year and a half. During his time away from his work on the suit, he was in regular attendance at a local school and had numerous friends, though he was never sure if it was because of his money, his brains, or his father, the Iron Man, but he knew he could only truly trust a handful.

Regardless, he finished his suit, dubbed the Iron Knight by it’s builder, when he was eighteen. The initial design wielded a large metal bladed sword, but after testing showed it would be ineffective in certain, rather common, situations, it was changed to an energy blade, the hilt for which is stored in the armor’s thigh plating. He flew the suit for two years, and took part in the final fighting after the signing of the treaty, though it was minimal as someone had to keep an eye on Connor. When the Academy was built, Jason volunteered to go as one of the few students who’d seen actual combat, and also to make sure Connor stayed out of trouble. After all, there were the children of Villains there too.

Following the Academy, Jason headed into space when he received a mental communication from an older Petro-sapien and now? He's on his way...some where after a discussion with them.

Dubbed the Iron Knight, this is the suit of high tech combat armor the Jason Tiberius Stark wears into combat. It’s equipped with the standard flight equipment and repulsor energy weaponry, along with the standard pinpoint accuracy weapons. However, there have been some additions made by it’s builder. First and foremost is the energy sword called Caliban, which can cut through nearly all known alloys and metals. Another is wrist mounted repulsor beam projectors in tandem with the palm ones, just in case he can’t get his hand up to fire. The final, and most important one, is the collapsible shield within his left forearm, made of a titanium/vibranium alloy. While it isn’t as strong as Cap’s, it works to block that which his sword can’t...usually.

Besides his incredible intelligence and his high tech suit of armor, Jason is a high ranking practitioner of Karate, Taekwondo, and Jujitsu. He’s also pretty damn good with a sword, able to go toe-to-toe with many people who have trained longer than him.

Other:
Jason carries a longsword on himself during down time. He’s arguably somewhat distrusting of the villains attending and teaching.

Theme Song:
"Do or Die" by Thirty Seconds to Mars

When the grenade went off, Elias fired, a series of six shots ringing out and the bolts finding six homes square in the chests of security officers who'd been dazed by the grenade. Others started to turn towards the source while a group fired at Elias, who had jetted back towards the ray shield while opening his com channel. "Now!" The twin barreled blaster turret on the top of his ship rotated before firing on the area above the hangar entrance, destroying the projectors for the ray shield. With them out of the way, that made it easier to get to the Nightingale Eclipse and get off this place, which was now filled with the sound of additional blaster fire from the other end of the hallway.

Stormtoopers are moving fast. Tyrell showed up and helped me, which means he wants something...Sith spit! Motioning towards the ship, an auto-turret drops out of the bottom and begins firing on the security personnel still trying to attack the Mandalorian, who was back towards his ship as he took out targets pinged by both the astromech operating the turret and the tactical readout on his visor. "Move your ass, Tyrell or I'll leave your dumb ass behind."
