April 7th ~~ Kazuo's Kitchen

"Well it's about time I get going," Kazuo said with a calm smile as he rose from the kitchen table. He'd just finished the huge spread of a breakfast his mother had made him and was ready for orientation and his first day at Ishin Academy.

"Are you sure? Your father was going to stop by to see you off before work," His mother, Akane, spoke softly as he brought his plate to the sink. She'd never quite gotten on board with his father's way of thinking. She believed that he was too strict and harsh. If that wasn’t bad enough he was generally unsupportive of the choices his children, or even she, made.

"Yeah, he sent me a message earlier. He was called in early." Kazuo replied simply. In all due honesty, he had the feeling that even if his dad had come, things would not have gone as well as Akane might have hoped. He turned back to his mother and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Besides, it's not like he's ecstatic about me going into the hero course anyway." The young man continued on to the front of the house where he knelt down to slip his shoes on.

"Okay, well, at the very least call Natsumi later. She wants to talk to you."

Kazuo couldn't help, but laugh at this. "Really?" It wasn't like he didn't understand the sentiment or her excitement that he was also pressing onward into the world of heroics. But he couldn't help but wonder what else his sister could possibly have to say that she hadn't conveyed in any of her 143 messages. "Okay," he chuckled a bit more. "I'll do it at lunch or something." He finally said after a soft slap to the back of his head by his doting mother. And so, without another word he was on his way to the beginning of his journey as a hero-in-training.

April 7th ~~ School Grounds

Kazuo sighed as he approached Ishin Academy, pushing open the doors to the building in order to make his way toward the auditorium of this seemingly prestigious school. In truth, he was a bit nervous about his starting here, even if it didn’t show. He hadn’t heard anything in particular, but he was pretty sure nobody he knew in any notable form would be joining him at the school. Still, this could be more liberating than he gave credit. Here he wasn't anything more than another face in the crowd. Still, if he wanted to make a mark and really continue to seriously pursue his dream, he’d need to do something. He had to make himself stand out as he was sure so many other heroes once had to do when they were in his position. The young man was prepared for whatever this place might throw at him, though he had something of an idea of what might be coming his way considering the old man had pushed so hard for him to come to this school if he wasn't going to become a police officer.

”I don’t know what he’s planning, but one thing’s for sure,” the young man spoke to nobody as he navigated his way to the auditorium, ”I’m not gonna let anything get in my way.” He smirked pounding his right fist into the open palm of his left hand.

Luckily, he was alone for this brief bit of psyching himself up. Thus, there was nothing left for him to do. He was at the auditorium. People were already there. So, that was something. Although it was already clear that some were already having full blown conversations. He wasn’t planning on busting in just yet. Besides, it’d been a long day, even if the day has just begun, and he wanted to see how things might be and what they would be like. His ears perked up here and there at varying voices, though he made no outward expression of interest.

“Looks like this is gonna be more interesting than I thought.” He said to nobody in particular as he made his way to an empty seat. As he sat down he reached into the pocket of the jersey of his school uniform and pulled out a jawbreaker. He squeezed the empty part of the wrapped and used a bit of his strength to pop it open via the air trapped inside. It flew up a few feet as he took the seat and leaned back, throwing his feet up on the empty chair in front of him. The jawbreaker came down landing in his mouth almost perfectly, he’d had to move his head a bit to the side to actually catch it, once he was in a more relaxed position.

”Hope this thing starts soon.” He mumbled as he moved the candy from one side of his mouth to the other, pulling out his phone to scroll through some of his sister’s messages. How did her head never explode from the sheer carnage that was her train of thought? He laughed a bit to himself.

Jin noted the other girl's look of confusion, and chuckled. "I'm just messing with you, you're way too frilly to be a 'kun'." Jin's pencil was still going as she kept up the rapid calculation. "You'll be Yumi-san for a while. I don't wanna make you stand out anymore. But you can call me whatever you feel like it. I don't mind." Inwardly, she was slowly considering telling this nice-seeming girl to back off. It would be easier than her discovering later that being friends with Jin was like a social suicide. Maybe, though, they could be a pair of weirdos together.

"I'm from Tokyo, as far as anyone here is considered. I was... born in Manhattan, New York. I think I got in here because they want to make me a model citizen? Good fuckin' luck with that." That was all she felt like saying about that, and with a faint 'hah' she set down her pencil.

"The odds of us 2 meeting in this classroom are approximately 0.853%. Pretty wild, huh?" She tapped the number with a very faint smile, pleased with the magic of numbers. Following Camilla's stare, she noted the same girl just death-glaring at the talkative group.

"What the hell's her issue? She got a headache or something?" Or maybe she was the kind of stuffed shirt brat who hated happiness and anything out of the ordinary. Every classroom had one.

Ishin Academy, April 7th

The time had come.

After what seemed like an eternity, the upperclassmen that had been casually talking amongst themselves outside had headed inside the assembly hall to take their place among the crowd of students that was ready to begin their first day at Ishin proper. Few students were brave enough to skip out on the opening ceremony, as tedious and pointless as it may have seemed. Ishin's faculty were assertive men and women who didn't take complacency lightly and this year it was no different.

Yukimura Hideaki, the Dean of Students and Supervisor of Ishin Academy, hadn't quite seen a line-up of students quite like the current crop that sat front-and-center, mulling over what Ishin was like and talking to one another for the very first time. During his Profesisonal Hero days he had met a lot of optimistic young men and women – but the days of being The Frozen Hero, The Snowman, was long past him. His beard has grown gray and his eyes had long shadows under his icicle-like eyes. His expression was blank, giving the impression he was unimpressed with everyone else in the assembly hall. The truth of the matter was he couldn't be any more excited to have a new group of would-be heroes “broken in”. He moved his hand to the microphone on the podium, tapping it with the backside of his right hand.

“Silence.”

His voice boomed across the room. Conversations stopped, attention was shifted, and postures straightened.

“Ishin Academy is the second oldest hero institution in Japan. Sixth in the entire world. This serves as a reminder that it is here at Ishin that we continue a tradition of excellence in preparing the next generation for the future that awaits them. Whether it is a future as a hero or not.”

His eyes moved to the returning members of the student body.

“For those of you that survived the gauntlet that was last year, congratulations. You've passed the first series of tests. You know what comes next and how I'm counting on you to become the very best examples of what Ishin has to offer.”

He pressed his hands against the podium.

“For those of you who are new... well, congratulations on passing the entrance exams.”

The old man looked directly at the more nervous members of the first years. He knew that his tone and appearance was sending a chill down their spine – some of them may have been already wondering what they got themselves into. He was certain that his next few words would make that feeling stick with them. It was a sentiment he was glad to imprint upon them.

“That said. Ishin is a battleground and you will need to prove that you belong here. You should know this just by the merit of applying to this institution, so if you think an acceptance means you have nothing to fear now you are not going to be a student for long. But being a hero is about bravery, tenacity, and humility. Nobody is going to hold your hand here. Your teachers are here to prepare you, not to hold your hand. For those of you that are new to Ishin, you will need to remember that. Should you forget, your upperclassmen will remind you of it very very quickly.”

Hideaki sighed, moving a glass of water to his lips with his left hand, the liquid instantly chilled to perfection as it met his lips. He always did hate monologues and speeches; especially after he had retired from the professional circuit to teach and administrate. It was probably the one singular thing he didn't care for about his years as Dean of Students at Ishin Academy. There was too much talking. But it was the job.

He placed the drink down and cleared his throat, preparing to continue with the speech. He still needed to go over dormitory assignments and a few other necessary details before he would drone on for a good few more minutes until dismissing the crowd to get settled into their dorms and prepare for tomorrow. He understood the bulk of the first years were separated between Midori and Endo. Two very different and very interesting choices. He wondered how the students would take to both of their decidedly unique teaching styles. But he supposed he would find out about that by the end of the month.

“The first day of Ishin Academy is special. First-time students get to have one day of comfort before the grueling, unforgiving crawl of the school year begins. If you look to your pamphlets you will see your assignment to one of several dorms available to students. At the end of this ceremony, you will get sorted. If you have trouble understanding where you belong please speak with a faculty member so your understanding of the campus grounds can be corrected.”

He half-laughed as he waved his hand to the projector film behind him that had been showing still images relative to his speech. These students were in for a grueling semester.

“At the end of the day, whether you are a new student here or have been selected to return you need to remember one thing. Give your best – not for yourself, but for the world. Soar Skyward.”

When Rikuo looked impressed by his quirk, Daiki couldn't help but chuckle sheepishly at their admiration. "W-would it?" Daiki replied sheepishly. Daiki smiled as he patted his back. "When you put it like that..." Daiki said thoughtfully, he really did never consider that fact. He would be a very useful rescue hero. That caused Daiki to smile internally to himself, maybe he isn't as worthless as he thought. His quirk has always been seen as a handicap but seeing it from an outsiders perspective it sounds-is useful. Maybe that's why he got in. And not luck like he thought.

Daiki carefully watched Rikuo as he showed off his quirk to him. At first he rolled up his sleeve and a purple splotch on his palm appeared and suddenly the purple splotches rose up from his hand and purple ink started to fly around his hand, Daiki looked at it with an impressed expression. It was so much more flashy than his own quirk. "Whoa!" Daiki said with an oooh~ tone of voice. "That's so cool, I can only imagine what you can do with that!" Daiki said excitedly as his tail wag in the air behind him as he patted Rikuo's arm repeatedly in a playful manner.

Daiki giggled at Rikuo's smirk and his response. "Oh?" Daiki said in response to Rikuo calling him a friend of his. But Daiki wasn't expecting him to call him his first friend. Which took Daiki by shock, which showed on his face for a second before he started to beam with a bright smile. "Heh, getting my first friend was not what I expected from this conversation, but I'm happy that's it with quite the charmer!" Daiki said excitedly. And when Rikuo said he'll visit the aquarium, Daiki had a cheeky smile on his face and said, "it's a date than!" Daiki said lightly but happily.

When Daiki recounted his lie, Rikuo was quiet and didn't give any sympathy, which is what he wasn't expected. But instead they said it made sense why they want to be a hero and that his non-existent parents would be proud of him, especially after graduation. Daiki felt a tinge of guilt but swallowed it and simply nodded and said a small, "Thank you, I hope you're right." But before the lie could develop even more off the handle a loud, cool "Silence" echoed in the room and Daiki swallowed his next set of lies and focused his eyes onto the stage of the Assembly. It was the Dean of the Academy, Yukimura hideaki. The Frozen hero. He looked so awesome!

Daiki listened intently and highly focused on the Dean's words intensely. But it wasn't as intense as the dean himself. But Daiki was getting pumped and excited by the Dean's passion and intensity, it was just perfect for a hero even though he retired. Daiki knew he was in good hands. He needed to be these amazing Heroes to be equals after all. He needs to work twice as harder than all of them combined! With the dean's final words Daiki repeated it to himself. "Soar Skyward...."

(Briefly looking at...) @Inkarnate (Mizuhana Yoshiba), @Scrub Mage (Katō Takara), @floodtalon (Adachi Chen), @Altered Tundra (Chikyu Yuki), and @liferusher (Kishimoto Rin)

These people were just the worst; the longer her ears remained attentive to this amateurs, the more and more she wanted to waste her energy just to tell them to shut up; it was taking a lot of self-discipline to do so, something these children lacked... and their ringleader... their ringleader, their ringleader, their ringleader...

She was still no better than any of these fools, letting them romp around, continuing to whirl around in a disruptive frenzy. Honestly, it felt like she was going to have an aneurysm soon due to what felt like an eternity for this whole assembly to start. Thankfully, as soon as it felt like she was ready to hiss at them to stop their obnoxious squawking, someone else interjected.

Adrianne's bared, grinding teeth and exasperated visage began to simmer down as her ears perked up to the sound of what appeared to be tapping echoing through the auditorium, followed by a stern, seeming authoritative voice that demanded everyone's attention, as well as hushed the bothersome masses.

While she didn't jump straight up to give the facade of being attentive like some people, she calmly and collectively gazed over at the older looking man, straightening her own posture out of respect and dignity, something the people sitting next to her could learn.

While, evidently, she still appeared generally pissed off, her glare wasn't as harsh and her lips were just about as comparable to a singular, straight-lined thread. Adrianne's ears perked up to listen to the man make the general opening announcement. There wasn't much to muse on other than wordlessly psyching herself up, silently telling herself that she would go beyond their expectations...

Blowing a bit of hot air out of her nose, she felt that cold gaze briskly pass overhead. There was a certain chill she felt over her head, yet Adrianne continued listening, continuing to heed each word, whether or not it mattered to her now. While the congratulatory speech directed towards the second and third years for continuing to go beyond, Adrianne watched the man deftly press his hands against the podium.

They were next.

Yet, even as the girl observed him scrutinize them all, Adrianne continued to stay composed, largely unperturbed and with a soothing calm... whatever that amounted to for her and her resting bitch face.

However, the next words stuck with her. For the first time since he stepped on to the stage, Adrianne scrunched her brows and clenched her hands into tightly clamped fists that dug into her lap. "Battleground... proof... belonging," she mouthed to herself, inaudible to the audience of her peers, especially the soon to be fourth rate dropouts sitting across from her.

Following the next portion, her eyes also drifted away the moment he began to speak about the merit of just being a student didn't merit that they would stay there. Adrianne's head was motionless, yet her eyes drifted back over to the girl with blue hair and her crew, honing in on each of them as she squinted and glared at them briefly before returning her attention to the frosty, graying dean.

There really weren't any movements from the rigid lady, aside from certain points during the speech where she gave a shallow nod and her visage lightening up, albeit briefly. Along with that, followed a few seconds of silence as he took a sip of water, something Adrianne bizarrely honed on intently.

However, subsequently, this was only time she displayed some modicum of disdain and irritation was when he mentioned that they would be getting a day of "comfort." Nothing more than a waste of precious time as she silently clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth before that fleeting notion disappeared completely.

Guess that was understandable; giving the students a day to get acquainted with the school, and at the mention of dorms and pamphlets, Adriane did recall some information about her dorm on the pamphlet received. It took her a second to recall the information before it began replaying, like a vhs tape in her head.

Other than tidbits of important information over who to contact if there was some difficulty, the last parts of the speech flew on by rather swiftly, save for the parting words. Juggling them both, the information about dorms and the final words, Adrianne took in a deep breath through her mouth, not breaking eye contact with the dean.

Yoshia's impression of the assembly speech probably mirrored the speaker's. It was long, drawn out, and she wasn't all too interested in it. But that was probably where her feelings and the dean's ended. Yoshiba knew that Ishin was a tough-as-nails school, everybody knew it. The whole spiel about proving you belong and just getting in wasn't going to keep them in the academy was old news. Her mother had gone to Ishin Academy when she was the same age, so she had heard all of the stories about Ishin's no nonsense attitude. She hadn't applied to Ishin Academy thinking it was going to be easy or fun. She had applied to Ishin Academy because it was known for creating some of the best heroes in the entire world.

Outside of introducing herself and giving a shrug she had stayed quiet in the time leading up to Snowman's speech. She wasn't keen on socializing or wasting time – she was keen on paying attention and analyzing the room. She already had written off anyone who had kept blabbering on and even some who hadn't said much. If these people were supposed to be her “rivals” they were doing a poor job of it. She wasn't sure how they could introduce themselves and chatter on like this was a sports festival; how they could not take the academy as serious as it presented itself. They may have been teenagers, but they weren't casually studying the history of Japan here, they were training to be heroes; and this had been the first lesson. A lesson that Yoshiba believed she had understood. Ishin Academy was a battleground and she needed to prove those above her how everyone else was second best compared to her.

“Pamphlets.” She muttered, remembering the older man's words to look to see which building she was assigned.

She wouldn't be one of the students asking for “help” like he suggested. She was Mizuhana Yoshiba. She didn't need help for something as mundane as finding the building and room she was given.

As far as she could tell from reading her pamphlet she had been assigned to the Chiheisen Dormitory Building in the eleventh room. The number made sense considering she was going to be number one in the school after she was done with it. She decided not to talk with anyone when the speech ended and moved for the doors of the building - to find Chiheisen.

Mifune had, often, probed his parents regarding their choice of craft, their decision to serve as clergymen, spinning sermon and taking in prayer. Father had said something Godly and, fittingly enough, Vaguely so. Mother, on the other hand had espoused, with some vigor, the illuminating benefits she had derived from taking on the stories of the church’s attendees and of, indeed, people-watching. Unfurling the tapestry of souls through the careful siphoning of idiosyncrasies, and thusly arriving at some measures of empathy, of perspective, of knowing one’s own place in the world and society, and an almost spiritual solace in existing as part of the kaleidoscopic whole.

Bullshit bullshit bullshit, Mifune called.

Already he could detect ‘suspicious elements’ of his year that precipitated, well, precipitation from his pores. Some guy with the watery remnants of a crying spell lining his eyes; what was he crying about? Was he crying because he was about to do something life-changingly awful? Possibly, which meant probably, which meant definitely. Some purple-eyed guy that was both too polite and self-assured by far, which meant that he was either 1) a sociopath, 2) actually genuinely far better of a person than Mifune was, or 3) both, which was a terrifying prospect.

A bevy of students who, mercifully, past muster caught Mifune’s gaze as well. The mercy was, granted, short-lived, as Mifune was well aware that darkness could lay beneath the surface (which meant that he was afraid of both the surface and the beneath, which meant… everything). Mifune’s lip quivered as he realized the devastation the wider, heavy-set girl could bring about with a full-pace tackle towards an unsuspectin- why the hell was crying-boy beaming? Suspect.

By the time cries of “I hail from Tokyo too!” had rung out, the perfectly perfunctory dialogue of two seemingly upper-class folk had entered into a brisk swing, and a girl even taller than he was had came in glowering, Mifune had decided he should all but drown it out, and forego any attempt at joining the mingling. Still, he gave himself a bit of credit - at least he hadn’t thought anything too uncharitable of the foreign students. Not that he didn’t, just, not disproportionately so. He thought, anyways. Good, good. Good.

Great.

On second thought, not great. Hideaki’s gaze was a thousand-yard spear, or a thousand-page treatise and dissertation on emasculation and deep-seated (or surface-lingering) thoughts of inadequacy. Mifune could have walked out, right then and there, if day-0 failure and laughing-stock status wasn’t an infinitely more soul-crushing prospect. He’d just have to make it to at least… day 100. And then he could go a hundred more. And another hundred, and another hundred.

He procured his pamphlet. Room 14, Chiheisen.

Mifune allowed himself a deep-sigh, and began to trudge along to his new home, steps so stilted one wouldn’t be remiss to think he had perhaps soiled himself.

And, damn, boy was still sweatin’.

April 7th ~~ School Grounds

"Guess I got here right on time." Kazuo said to himself as he lifted his feet off the chair he'd propped them up on and planted them firmly back on the ground. He slid the phone back into his pocket, intent on paying attention to the words of the Dean of Students. Even so, having said that, it was likely he'd have been late if he'd taken another minute or so longer. He might have if he hadn't thought the school would be extreme enough to have him expelled for a tardy on the first day, to the orientation no less. That was likely why his father had gotten him to pick Ishin. The old man didn't care about the fact that it was one of the oldest hero schools, or that it created some of the best around, his rising star sister being one such student. The truth was, his father figured the clash created by Kazuo's rebellious nature and the rigidity of the school would be a sure ticket to his expulsion.

He is really underestimating my resolve. The young man thought as he caught the jawbreaker between his teeth on the right side of his mouth, biting it clean in half almost immediately. It wasn't blatantly loud, much quieter in fact than one might have thought, though. No, he was listening to every word coming from the mouth of their speaker, former hero Snowman. He was excited. He could practically feel his blood bubbling up inside him. Somebody close enough might have felt the temperature in the immediate area around him raise higher as well.

Even so, as the speech neared its end one singular thoughts popped into his mind. Holy shit... By the end of the year the phrase 'Soar Skyward' is gonna be used as part of a one-liner for... something. Part of him thought it might be lame, but the other part couldn't help, but try to imagine all the epic badass scenarios that could also apply to.

Kazuo shook his head, snapping out of his slight stupor. "Right," he said as he dropped his hands to his knees, decisively hopping to his feet. "Guess I oughta find my dorm." He skimmed the pamphlet each student had, evidently, and began walking. He'd been assigned to the Chiheisen Dormitory Building. He wasn't expecting to need any help finding the place, or his room. But he wouldn't mind asking for help if he needed it anyway. Still, he could find it. "Wonder what my roommate's gonna be like? Kazuo asked himself as he walked, making his way through the crowd, to exit the auditorium. He folded up the pamphlet and slipped it into his pocket, replacing his phone as he took that back out. He glanced at it.

There was another torrent of messages, most of which, were simply his sisters ramblings. He couldn't wait for the day to end so she could get over her own excitement over her "baby brother's first day of hero school!" He couldn't believe her. And yet, he still couldn't help but chuckle as he scrolled through them. Her wouldn't walk into anybody. Most likely. Maybe. Regardless, he was on his way.

Chen was so, so, bored. He sat up straight, didn't yawn, all the respectful things people expected you to do in society when important people were talking. But this speech was so boring! He said things that everyone knew, just getting accepted didn't guarantee his place, being a hero was about blah blah blah, no hand holding, did this guy like the sound of his own voice or what? He found much more interest in the girl who kept glaring over at him and tentacle girl, winking the moment their eyes met with a cocky smirk before focusing back on the dean. Now Chen didn't know much about this guy other than that he used to be a big shot hero before retiring, but damn did he strike an impression. If not with his words than with his mere presence, this was a guy that Chen did not want to ever disrespect.

The speech ran on for a few more minutes about basic stuff, dorms and the like. He briefly noted the glint of reflection off of the dean's glass, smiling at the thought of using a Quirk for something so mundane as chilling your drink. Not that he had never done it before whenever he needed to cut up an apple really quickly, might as well use the cutting Quirk for something right? Finally the speech began to wrap up, with the dean saying something somewhat interesting at the end.

“At the end of the day, whether you are a new student here or have been selected to return you need to remember one thing. Give your best – not for yourself, but for the world. Soar Skyward.”

Not for yourself but for the world huh? Chen almost felt tempted to snort at the statement. Why not give your best for yourself, you're the one making money off of your work, not the world. Although in a very roundabout manner you were making money for the world, but that was besides the point. The speech ended and people began to shuffle out with their pamphlets, Chen knew where his dorm was so there was really no need for them. Regardless, he took one and looked it over, not expecting much and not getting much. He passed by Yoshiba quietly, before stopping suddenly and looking over his shoulder at her with a blank expression. "You know Yoshi-tan, if you don't learn to loosen up you're not gonna last long as a person, let alone a Hero." It was said in a rather neutral tone, partly to tease her, but also as some friendly advice. No person could remain so stiff for so long, it wore down on you. Not that he knew anything about that, his life was pretty much dedicated to his amusement.

"Welp, I'll be seeing you around! Have fun!" And just like that Chen was back to his usual cocky self, whistling as he headed out the building and towards his dorm. What a fun year this was gonna be, fun fun fun. He was no longer looking at Yoshiba, instead focused on his pamphlet. Well, maybe he could get away with just a little more teasing.

"And don't forget! Soar Skyward!"

Camilla's ears dropped as a pout made it's way on to her features when Jin revealed that they had been pulling her leg, but the slight was quickly forgotten as the girl continued talking about herself. Camilla wondered if Jin had many memories of her time in the states, as well as what it was like to live in New York of all places. That place was a veritable hero hotspot, jampacked with the biggest heroes( and villains) in the country. Life there must be crazy, so no wonder her parents moved back here. Even dad talks about how exhausting some of the Big Apple heroes say their job is whenever they end up on the west coast, usually when they're on break.

Her small daydream of what she imagined New York to be like was cut short, however, as Jin addressed her while showing her the number they had calculated. Camilla's ears shot up as she snapped out of her daze, trying and failing to look as if she had been paying attention the whole time as the tips of her ears began to burn with embarrassment.

"Uh, y-yeah. That is pretty neat, Ji-er, Takahashi-san." Camilla mentally scolded herself for the near slip-up. Ji-No, Takahashi-san's behavior been so unlike what she'd been expecting from this place that it caused her to drop her guard too much and slip into old mannerisms. Curling a lock of hair around one of her fingers, she looked back towards the angry girl from before, who seemed to have only gotten angrier somehow, and shrugged.

"Who knows. Some people just have a bone to pick with the world and want to take it out on those around them. If you ask me, it is probably best if we just avoid her if we can, or else we will likely be the ones with a headache." Camilla chuckled a little towards the end, imagining a scenario where she and Takashi-san were being forced to listen to the angry horned girl drone angrily about random things until she noticed movement on the stage. It seems like things were finally being set into motion.

The principle's speech was pretty much the kind of thing her father had told her to expect, but she would be lying if she still wasn't at least a little intimidated by it. Still, she was already here and she wasn't about to get sent home with her tail between her legs just because she was feeling nervous. Rising to her feet with a slight hope, she turned to Takashi-san with a small smile and upturned ears as she offered a small bow followed by an outstretched hand.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Takashi-san, and I hope we see more of each other throughout the school year, yeah? Who knows, we might even be in the same class." Reaching down to snatch up their notebook, she quickly wrote down her cell-phone number on the page before handling it back over "But just in case we're not, here's my number so we can text each other. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go see what the dorms are like. I hope you have a nice day!"

Once the two were finished saying their goodbyes to each other, Camilla would make her way out of the assembly hall, barely able to maintain a steady walking pace as the mix of nerves, anxiety, and excitement made her want to run out the building and into the relative safety of her dorm. So focused was she on trying to keep herself from bolting and the pamphelet in her hand, that she didn't really pay attention to where she was goin-

"And don't forget! Soar Skyward!"

That was all she heard before she felt herself crash into someone, only catching a glimpse of black hair as she stumbled back, catching herself with her back foot while her arm shot out to grab the other person so as to keep them from falling to the floor. Camilla froze, feeling her face get hot and her ears begin to drop as she quickly made sure to properly right the other person while rushedly apologizing for her blunder.

"Oh, I am really, really, truly sorry about that. I was just so caught up in my own head and the speech made me nervous and I'm just really, really sorry. You are not hurt or anything, right?" Once she was certain the other person was alright, she'd release them and take a step back, her fingers once again curling themselves in locks of her colored hair as she felt as if a thousand pairs of eyes were glaring her down, judging her every single move and action as if she was on trial for some sort of crime. As sensing her distress, her quirk partially activated to cause small lines of microbes to flow up her arm, the colors shifting momentarily before taking on a shade of red equivalent to the blush that was burning at her face and ears.

Rikuo felt a surge of pride come over him when Daiki complimented his quirk. The only reasons why his quirk was complimented when he was younger was solely because of the fact that he was a painter, not because of what he could do to possibly save lives. To hear that someone else thought that it has so much potential genuinely made him happy and his grin reflected that. "The only limit is your imagination." He said, repeating what someone told him back when he expressed his want to become a hero. And he believed in that saying. Because in the end, he knew that his quirk had a lot of potential. He just needed to know how to tap into it.

Though, Rikuo was not expecting for Daiki to have been so shocked to hear that he considered him a friend already. Well, perhaps other people didn't move quite as fast. But when you give personal information to the other person, then wouldn't they automatically be considered friends? Especially since they're planning on inviting each other to come to one another's respective prefectures to hang out. Oh well, Daiki looked happy about the fact that they were friends so he didn't dwell on it for long. The mention of it being a date amused him. Girls call hanging together as dates too, so he didn't really think too much into it. Not even as a tease.

Soon after they had talked about Daiki's parents, someone had started speaking. Or rather, implored everyone to shut up. Rikuo clammed up, more out of interest than out of respect for the order. Yukimura Hideaki - you'd be a fool to not know of him. His exploits during his pro-heroes days were numerous, and a lot of people - Rikuo included - looked up to him. The look on his face seemed like he wasn't too impressed with the collection of freshmen that they had gotten. Well, he was pretty sure that they'd all prove them wrong. They came here to become heroes, and that is what they will become. How hard could it be? Though, Hideaki was quick to tell them that they were here to train, not to be guided like a bunch of kids.

He then paused after that to take a drink - as if letting that fact sink into the students. It didn't really have any effect on him. He simply just shrugged it off as he leaned back on his seat, now waiting for the speech to finish. He just went on to tell them about their dormitories where they will be staying for the entirety of their school years. Rikuo looked over to his pamphlet to check where he was assigned to out of instinct when Hideaki told them about it. He then looked back up when he said his closing remarks. He hummed to himself - impressed by the motto and how he said it.

He stood up once that was over and the others started to either say goodbye to their seatmates or just to simply make a beeline to the dormitories. He looked over to Daiki. "Well, that was nice." He commented with a light chuckle. "I'm gonna head over to my dorm. Good meet. I'll see 'ya when I see 'ya." He then gave Daiki a mock salute and then headed over to his dorm. He did hope that they were in the same class, but what were the odds of that right?

Yachiyo's body had adopted an almost rhythmic, pendular back and forth bow, overflowing with a stream of polite agreement. She soaked up Osamu's observations without any tangible resistance, instead merely emphatically "Mhm"'ing and "Ah"'ing in regular intervalls, to signal her soul-consuming attentiveness. “That's... a very reasonable concern, by all means. It seems there are some, ahem... bold personalities. But then of course a healthy spirit is a hero's trait, wouldn't you agree?” The optimism was squeezed through the slender girl's pores, but kind intent coated the forced attitude with a semblance of sincerity. A bright smile pushed Yachiyo's cheeks up, before her eyes followed Osamu's (rightfully) gaze.

A quiet "Eh?" escaped her lips, and her cheeks flushed with the subtle pink of disbelief. "She... she is quite energetic," Yachiyo conceded with a variety of voice cracks, her body vibrating nervously across the space of her seat. The tall westerner carried herself with sheer contempt, her eye carving a searing trail into the - admittedly manageable - length of the blue-haired first-year. Who, in turn, appeared disgruntled beyond reason herself; she seemed thoroughly Japanese, so the sigh of disappointed confirmation remained absent.

With these impressions carved into her brain, Yachiyo's brain threatened to overload with awe once The Frozen Hero took the stage, claiming everyone's attention with ease. His speech certainly seemed to invoke what one typically sought to invoke with such an event, and the already-pale Yachiyo quickly lost several magnitudes of saturation upon hearing his draconian description of the school year post-midnight. An audible swallowing sounded from her throat, before jittery fingers fished the little pamphlet wide.

“It seems like we share a general building,” Yachiyo mentioned casually towards her polite classmate, looking back at Osamu with a faint smile. "I wonder who and where she could be?" With an inquisitive glance, Yachiyo tried to assign the mean-looking girl the names Yumi Camilla and Adrianna Kunze, concluding that the latter sounded harsher and more befitting of her exterior. Hoping to be right, she sighed in relief, not having to face such an attitude in her immediate living quarters. "I... I suppose we should get going, then? I hope our roommates are nice!

A bit of excitement flickered inside of the bubble girl - Her journey to become a hero had now officially begun!

The only limit is your imagination.

Those words resonated with Daiki deeply. It was a rather obvious statement but like being reminded of blinking it still effects you in the moment. Daiki simply nodded and smile at the words. It was a nice little moment between the two of them. Heck, Daiki didn't expect Rikuo to casually agree to the date idea, but that only further fuel his drive to do better and in a matter of speaking soaring Skywards. He got himself date on the first day. This really is a new life for him.

After the speech was made and Daiki whispered to himself to "Soar Skywards", Rikuo spoke up saying how this was nice and that it was nice to meet him. Daiki let out a grin as he mimicked his mock salute and said, "Likewise, and have a good day!" Daiki cheerfully said as he started to dig into his pockets for his pamphlets and after finding it in his back pocket he started reading it. He already read it dozens of times but he has to make sure! He was on the 15th floor of the Chiheisen dorms. Good, he didn't remember it wrong like he worried he did.

Daiki should get up from his seat and start to make his way to the dorms and get himself settled, which should be easy since he doesn't own much and hopefully he could get some studying done tonight since he doesn't want to train his body just in case they do something hardcore tomorrow for the second day and he under-preform. Daiki's tail twitched in excitement at the prospect of his first step as a hero will start when he gets up from this seat! But for now he is just curious who is dorm mate is.

But he will learn that in a bit so for now he got up from his seat and started making his way to the doors to leave the area and start making his way to the dorms. It shouldn't take too long by himself and with his quirk to help him find it. If nobody or anything distracts him at least.

A flash of purple, perhaps pink, hair. Taller than him, dark skin, a foreigner possibly? Most importantly, the sensation of falling. Well this is embarrassing, he just got knocked over by a girl his own age. Chen began to move his arm backwards, hoping to catch himself with a free hand rather than hit his head on the floor, but she caught his hand. Oh good, he wasn't going to get a concussion on his first day. He was quickly righted by the girl, his eyes locking with hers for a moment as she flushed in embarrassment. A twitch of movement on the side of her head caught his eye next, what unique ears she had. Perhaps a part of her Quirk? Oh, she's apologizing now, better listen.

"...and the speech made me nervous and I'm just really, really sorry. You are not hurt or anything, right?" She released his hand quickly, brushing her fingers through her hair in a show of nervousness, his keen eyes noticing her arms turning red. Chen smiled, he knew what to say now.

"Oh there's no need to worry, it's not like you knocked me over on purpose. More importantly, are you okay? I would hate to hear that I hurt such a exotic beauty like yourself, I don't think I would be able to live with myself." A troubled look spread across his face as he looked her in the eyes, concern showing in his every feature as he looked her over. The red had spread across her arms slowly, a self modifying Quirk most likely. It's possible the ears have nothing to do with the Quirk, but Chen was inclined to believe she could modify her own body in various ways with her Quirk.

"Ah, I haven't even introduced myself to you have I? I'm Chen Adachi, it's a pleasure to meet you." His gentle smile would win her over, he was sure of it. The confidence that radiated off of him could be felt by every student nearby, a few even giving some jealous stares as he talked to this beautiful foreigner. "I do hope you can put off my lack of attention behind us, I would never want to offend such a beautiful girl."

Osamu's attention turned to the stage as the call came for silence. It would not do for him to give anything less than his full attention to the Supervisor, or any staff member that demanded the student body's attention. The supervisor immediately began to speak of the rigors associated with attendance of Ishin Academy. Osamu had heard much of what to expect from his father, though they both expected that things would have changed in the 20 odd years since he had attended personally. Goodness knew the presence of foreign students spoke volumes about how much had changed here. He believed himself ready for the trials to come, and yet, a small piece of him disagreed with what he heard. It was not some great rebellion or defiance that swelled within him, but he did question the seemingly antagonistically competitive narrative that was being spun here. It was Osamu's firm belief that they should work together as a body to further their development, rather than leaving people behind if they seemed to fail. Provided it did not involve him having to directly defy authority, Osamu for one would be doing his best to prop his comrades up rather than beat them down.

At the conclusion of the supervisor's speech, Osamu looked at his pamphlet to confirm the details. He was in room 15 of the Chiheisen building with a student named "Hanamura Daiki". The name wasn't familiar to him, but that was to be expected. Yachiyo piped up again to mention they were in the same building. He nodded in response. He did wonder about it, however; the rooms were clearly deliberately non co-ed, but with the opposite sex close at hand, surely someone could just walk down the hall a bit to engage in youthful mischief? He would have to trust that the faculty had already accounted for that possibility. "Indeed. I don't suppose you have any idea who yours is?" Again, it was ultimately unlikely, but there was always a chance that two people going to this school happened to know each other and share a room.

After a few moments, Osamu seized upon an idea. "If you don't mind, I'm going to try something very quickly..." He said to Yachiyo, concerned she might be startled if he tried this without warning. Clearing his throat, he clearly, yet none too loudly, called out, "Hanamura Daiki?" It turned the heads of a few people near him, but his call was not too loud or disruptive to bother the entire crowd. If chance was on his side, his roommate-to-be might just hear him and find him, and that would certainly shorten the wait to find out who they really were. If he wasn't to be so lucky, he would just have to carry on to the dorms and put this brief embarrassment out of his mind. It was somewhat of a long shot to expect his roommate to conveniently be in earshot when he called, but he figured it was worth a shot.

Jin was about to say something a bit vulgar about the girl with horns and what might be crammed up her backside, when there was a soft whine of a microphone, and a single command.

“Silence.”

She had to admit, her body was moving and she was shutting her mouth before she knew what was what. So, some things may have been ingrained into her, whether she liked it or not. One of those things being: don't get kicked out on your first day of high school.

She settled in for the speech, half listening in and out while doodling a processor on the edge of a notebook sleeve. It was a little sterner than the usual first day speech, that was for sure. Jin felt her stomach tingling with excitement, however. She was going to prove to this man and everyone else that she belonged, and no one would be able to argue the point.

The speech was over a bit too late for her taste, and with a “Soar Skyward” they were left to their devices. After exchanging numbers with Yumi-san, Jin watched her go with a slight wave. She had to fight down a sudden feeling of disappointment. Yumi-san seemed nice and all, but she was pretty sure the other girl wouldn't call once school got going. And yet, Jin plugged her number into her phone anyway.

She started walking in the general direction of the dorm, poring over her map and dorm assignment. The school map was basic and easy to memorize. The roommate thing, however...

Even though Jin had read the Ishin pamphlet back to front once she'd been accepted, even though she knew she'd be sharing space with another girl, Jin hadn't really thought about it until now.

The fear hit her, old anxieties and new popping up. What if this girl hated her right from the start? What if she was indifferent, and Jin had to share her space with the poliite sort who'd smile in her face and stab her in the back? Worse, what if she was like that one bitch on the achery team who got her a “Gift” of skin-lightening cream for her birthday? Jin couldn't have that – it had taken all of her uncle's pull to nott get her expelled after Jin had poured chili sauce into her water bottle and nearly sent her to the hospital. No, Jin was all on her own now, she had to make it work. So if this girl hated her, so what? She'd hate right back! Stuffed shirts, the lot of them, she was sure.

With righteous rage at a confrontation that might never occur, Jin battled down her fear and stormed off to the dorms, head held high, shoulders square, and stomach filled with butterflies on fire.

The train is now departing. Please keep clear of the doors.

It was early, far too early for Tokyo to rife with the usual hustle of city activity and yet, the first train headed North out of Tokyo had an impressive number of people. Of course, it was that time of year: the start of the academic calendar, and the train was mostly made up of Tokyo's brightest pupils, headed for whatever academies they managed to get into. It would be fair to say that Endo looked out of place among all these commuting students. It did appear as if his oddity went noticed by the several drowsy students as they passed by his row suddenly snapping to attention with a smile or nod, but most paid him no mind. Most hadn't realized that the previous top 10 Hero, Eagle Eye, was among them and more importantly to some select few first years, they had passively paid no mind to their teacher.

This was all excusable, even amusing at times to the retired Pro. It had been years since he was in the spotlight and without his iconic visor, he had essentially become anonymous again. This was even despite of him preferring to be dressed up much like his hero persona in addition to the physique and scarring of someone who just oozed the image of a "retired hero". Endo didn't mind as none quite had an eye or mind for remembering like him.

Curious enough, Endo had managed to identify one of the new Ishin first years in his train cabin. Amuro Namie, another Tokyo native... even though her application had stated she traveled around a lot in her youth. She had grabbed a seat somewhere behind him, one the last to board, as the train got underway but from a quick look around as Endo stood up and went to the bathroom, he noticed no other Ishin first year in that cabin.

Now, even if someone retired, the role of being a hero never really leaves a person. It becomes instinctual and almost addictive to those that managed to return on their own terms compared to a retirement from something out of a person's control, be it injury or anything else. So when the panicked cries of someone finally registered, Endo snapped to attention and bolted from the bathroom into his initial cabin.

"Touma! Touma!" A young man, a student possibly second or third year, was standing in the middle of the cabin crying out a name. Details were important and instinctively Endo took a moment to glance around the cabin, his eyes instantly studying the details with his Keen Eye Quirk before approaching the man. Calming the student with his identity, Endo quickly got to work on finding out what was going on.

In short: the young man, a third year student and his younger brother, a first year, had boarded the train together and now the brother was missing. Before the train departed the brother had claimed to go to the bathroom, the very same bathroom that Endo decided to use once the train was underway. When the young man realized this, he admitted to having a "gut-feeling" about the situation and quickly scooped a few of the other cabins but revealed no sighting of this brother so he started to panic, hence the frantic screaming of the brother's name.

"Alright. I understand, Reo." Endo reached for the young man's, Reo's, shoulder and gave it a gentle, reassuring squeeze. "Don't worry anymore, Reo. I'll find Touma for you." Reo finally broke slightly as his eyes watered by the reassurance and was these moments that Endo savored and missed about being a hero.

[...]

We have arrived at Sapporo Station...

"I've failed." Endo privately thought to himself as recollected the past few hours. Touma was nowhere on board and and as a result, the train had to be stopped at the next station and searched carefully. No trace of the boy, but his stuff was certainly present. Endo hadn't seen Touma board but there were a few witnesses that confirmed he had.

Among Reo's testimony, Endo had a valuable witness in the Ishin first year, Namie. She had recalled passing by Touma as he stepped into the bathroom. With an exit also at the rear of the cabin, it seems like Touma had left the train a moment before the doors closed. A call home after the investigation begun revealed that Touma didn't go home either. Stranger still was that security tapes had revealed he just walked out and from the video Endo was sent, Touma appeared content, a grin barely visible on the screen.

It was difficult to tell Reo that he couldn't do anything about it now as not only was he running late himself, he had held up Namie as a witness. They both missed the opening speech and with Ishin's strict discipline, Endo figured it would be best accompany Namie to confirm the situation. Still though, Endo felt slightly powerless, older age apparent, as he was unable to do something more than reassure Reo that he was going to find his brother for a second time. Maybe Reo had heard it in his voice but the moment was a bright as the time before but it was still impactful, a bitter reminder of Endo's failure. It wouldn't be the first time...

This wasn't really what Namie had anticipated nor wanted out of her first day on her own. She was horrifically tardy due to being held up as a witness for a missing person's case. There had to be precedence or an inclusion to overlook being late for a legitimate reason. Although she was still fretting over the notion of what is going to happen when actually gets to Ishin, she felt a lot better when that hero revealed he was a teacher at Ishin. Surely she'd be alright now but there was little escaping the feeling of being late even if you were justified.

Namie got off with at the station, keeping up with Endo who had been very quiet the whole trip. Since getting back on the train after it was stopped, Namie had to sit next to Endo as he asked her a few questions about the boy that went missing. It wasn't like she knew who he was, she just saw him go to the bathroom. It seemed like it was a kidnapping but the questions that he had been asking her were slowly changing her mind. Asking things about mood, did the kid have anything with him, was there anyone in the bathroom before him, Did someone else board behind you, and so on.

In truth, it was a little exhausting and Namie felt like answers weren't very detailed but she was thanked for each reply, nonetheless. That along with the rest of his demeanor was rather passively soothing and she had caught herself almost asking if he was going to be her teacher. She did have plenty of opportunities but each time she glanced over in between the lulls, he always had his eyes closed. One time, even, she had managed asked him something appeared he was sleeping but he did not stir, as if he never heard it. She never bothered with another question since.

Despite the uncomfortable silence, Namie kept close as they left the station and walked through Sapporo towards Ishin. After all, he was her tardy pass.

Arriving on the grounds was supposed to be gut-punch for first years, either from a sensation of over-excitement or dread. Namie had felt none of those as her fleeting worries vanished into a passive curiosity as she glanced around the entryway, the yard, the hallways, before finally seeing the inside of the principal's office.

"Just go ahead and take a seat. I've got to to talk with principal for a minute but we'll get you on your way." Endo said, finally breaking the silence between the two. Namie merely nodded, taking a seat and waiting for a bit before a member of faculty came out and gave her some direction. The other first years are finding their dormitories and that's where she should head to...

After Rin her question on how big Tokyo was suppose to be compared to Tokyo station Chen replied back with an amused laugh. Was it that much bigger? Tokyo station was already twice as big as her village it seemed when she was there. Her legs even started hurting from walking so much during her time at the station. With her mouth agape Rin starred somewhat at the boy as she realized how big it is then. Chen exclaimed that it would be quite the thing for her to visit sometimes. Rin gulped as she turned away from him while taking a notepad and pen from out of her bag. She wrote down somewhere on her notepad to go visit Tokyo sometime when she had time. Without wanting Chen to notice that she wrote it down she turned back and gave him an awkward smile while replying back.

"Alright, Rin will go to Tokyo someday."

The group of people around Rin all seemed to come mostly from Tokyo, which wasn't a bad thing but they did seem a little too over excited about the fact they came from the same place. Rin heard that Tokyo was pretty big so they likely wouldn't know each other either so what was there to be so excited about. Rin shriveled away a little from the group as she softly tried to join by muttering her own town and putting her fist in the air just above her neck for no one to see.

"Shimogamo yay..."

The ceremony began, firstly a big welcome to everyone. The principal started off with the second years and then the newlings, congratulating them on passing their entrance exam. Rin softly smiled at the thought of that, she really did get into the school with her powers right. It was already quite a long time ago that she thought her quirk would be useless but now she already has gotten this far. It was a wide step. The principal warned them for the challenges to come and always keep on your toes.

The principal explained that the first day was to relax and settle into the dorms where they would be going towards on their own accord next. Rin gulped and nodded slightly as he told them to head to one of the staff when they didn’t know where they had to go. Rin did see the dorms already but wherever it was right or left she did not remember. Rin did chose at the end to get there on her own feet as the speech ended with the schools moto.

“Soar skyward…”

A nervous voice said as she stood up and followed the rest out of the ceremony hall grabbing her luggage and all. Rin moved towards the dorms with mountain of luggage and all firstly walking three times around the campus before she finally found the dorms. An exhausted sigh erupted from the girl as she was finally in front of her own dorm room door. She briefly went through her pockets to get a key out. Or at least that was suppose to happen but she could not find the key she had received anywhere.

”Oh crap…”

With sweat on her forehead she went through her pockets and mountain. There was no key to be found, deeply in distress she watched around her for if anyone else saw her making this blunder. She didn’t want to be seen as the girl who lost her dorm key on the first day.

Yuki had tried his best to put on the face that was appropriately suitable for the kind of situation he and his soon-to-be classmates were in. Amid all of the back and forth talk - some of which Yuki himself was more or less absent from (his mind wandered elsewhere) - it wasn't long until all were rendered as silent as a mute. The loud, commanding voice of the Dean of Students, Yukimura Hideaki, explained what they all could and should expect their first day to be like, which to Yuki was something of a cool breeze in the tundra. The days that came after, however, were hinted at being less breezy, but rather a harsh, winter storm, the likes of which not even Yuki's hero father could withstand.

Or at least, that's what Yuki assumed from what the Dean of Students told them. He could be wrong, of course. The teen was, after all, the first year. There was much for him to learn, though he was eager and ready to soak in as much information as he could.

Once the speech ended and the first years (including Yuki, obviously), exited the auditorium in a mostly single file line. Yuki received his pamphlet not long after exiting. He made sure to read every word of it before he moved on to the dormitories. Along the way, he saw some of the students he ran into before the Dean of Students, some of them he had sat near, and others he figured he'd get to know over the course of the year. Yuki was looking forward it all nonetheless, but the first thing he needed to do was find his room.

"Let's see..." Yuki glanced over his pamphlet once more, seeing he was set to live in the Chiheisen Dormitory Building. Upon a more in-depth look, he was placed in Room 14. "Very well. To Room 14 I go!"

Entering the building, it didn't take Yuki that much time to reach his room, though once he did, the blond teen noticed he wasn't the first one; in fact, when he walked into the room with his bags, Yuki had noticed someone who was of his own age group was in the room. Pink hair was the first thing Yuki noticed. It belonged to a boy who was just slightly taller than Yuki himself was. The build was another thing he had over him, but that wasn't going to stop Yuki from making the best first impression that he could. It was, above all else, what he wanted to make sure went without a hitch.

He cleared his throat, set down his bags, and looked at the pink-haired boy. "Hello! I am Yuki! I am pleased to meet you!" His smile was subtle and posture was on-point. When Yuki's roommate would ee it, the face of another boy that was happy to see his roommate was the only thing waiting for him.

Before Daiki could grab onto the the door handle to leave the assembly room. A voice called out to him. Well his name. Daiki's quirk activated subconsciously, his pupils became cat-like and glowed a faint yellow. Daiki's mind was filled with so much information that it would overwhelm most others. But the cat boy has been training his mind to handle his quirk better, so after scanning the surrounding area he found the source of the voice. A boy with short hair next to a tall girl.

Daiki deactivated his quirk and quickly made his way to the boy who called out to him with an excited wag of his tail and a small skip to his step as he does so. Daiki managed to dodge and step around walking groups of kids easily due to his smaller frame and agility. So it didn't take Daiki long to find the boy who called out to him. He was cute. And so was his girlfriend. Daiki gave the pair a toothy grin and he even saluted to them in a jokingly serious manner. "you called?" Daiki said as he relaxed his stance.

Daiki already put the pieces together who this boy is. He is none other than Osamu Kenzo. A son of a politician in Aomori. A well renowned and respected one at that even with his old-timey beliefs, but that's not Daiki's place to judge. Daiki tilted his head to the side and smiled sweetly at the boy. "I take it you are my roommate to be? Kenzo-sama?" Daiki than looked at the girl next to him and smiled just as sweetly and brightly to her as he did with Osamu. "Pleasure to meet you too! As you may already know my name is Hanamura Daiki, you can use any honorifics you are comfortable with. That also goes to you too Kenzo-Sama." Daiki said with a broad smile as he leaned closer to the sitting pair, but due to his diminutive size compared to the two he didn't need to lean to much forward to be the same height a the pair. His cat tail wagging in the air behind him.
