~Hello? Is anyone out there?~
Alice focused her mind on trying to find that specific line of communication within her mind.
~Can anyone hear me?~
Her thoughts resonated within her own mind but she continued to try. Sitting among her plants she meditated every day. Once she was finished her meditation period she would practice trying to communicate with other specials. She was safe here, maybe other specials on the run would be too. If they could hear her she wanted to help them. If she wasn't safe, she would hope someone out there would take pity on her and help her survive.
~Anyone?~
Finally her thought felt like it stretched out beyond her own skull.
~Oh!~
A meek smile spread across her light colored lips.
~Is anyone out there? Hello?~
She tried to stretch her mind further, tried to reach out to anyone of the specials that need help.

"Keep up." Sven said while he glanced back over his shoulder down at Aksel. He kept a brisk pace ahead of the teenager behind him whom he usually addressed as "kid". There was a decently quiet crunch of the earth beneath Sven's feet in certain areas of this somewhat chilly weather which he was used to. His poncho kept him warm, and he has felt a lot worse than this considering he had lived in Finland all his life. A long drag of the skinny and smoothly rolled cigar was taken from the corner of Sven's mouth, filling his lungs up with smoke, just so he could blow it out from his mouth again where it would rise into the air and drift off someplace else. Pretty quiet around these areas. Not much was ever said, and Sven sort of liked the idea. He was never much of a huge talker, certainly not unless the conversation was captivating in his case. A look was taken side to side every once and a while, his eyes peeled, Sven was scanning down his new surroundings until he hit a small dirt path. Hmm.. it didn't look like it could cause much harm. He shifted his head to the right side, looking down range at what appeared to be a town, but sort of looked like the blob of civilization from this distance.

Might aswell check it out...

He stopped mid-step. A voice was heard, but it wasn't exactly being called out. Sort of like a message accessing his brain, he heard a girl calling out. She must be trying to contact other people. Sven put up his fist from the right side and held it up for Aksel to see. It was a signal for him to halt, he wasn't sure if he heard it too or not.

"Slow down, kid." He said addressing Aksel while turning his head and eyes to the left and right, trying to see if someone was nearby. No luck. Sven had heard of certain individuals using a telepathy mind messaging sort of thing, but he's never actually heard it before or used it. How was this supposed to work anyway? He didn't bother to tell Aksel what he was doing, just closed his eyes and started thinking. All thoughts were cleared, and he tried to grasp the communication he had heard earlier, and reach out to send his own.

*Hello?* Sven would usually never just come out with a greeting like this; however, he wasn't giving up his position so it didn't matter.

"You hear that, kid?" He finally said after a short pause and a short drag of his cigar as he looking back at Aksel with a skeptical expression on his face.

“Keep up” Aksel heard called to him. He was never going fast enough for Sven it felt, but none the less he got moving faster, he knew better then to get on his bad side. Once he got to an acceptable pace Aksel started to look around and take in what was around, his eyes darting all around. It was interesting to see the wildlife all around them, especially since they were always on the move so new things would pop up that he hadn’t seen before. Despite trying to distract himself he still became aware of the constant moving his hands did, from twiddling with the draw string on his hoodie to patting out a beat lightly on his leg. He did this because he was always so full of energy but he had to keep himself quiet and somewhat calm as not to annoy Sven who always seemed to prefer the quiet. Quiet was nice sometime but Aksel needed some way to put his energy to use instead of having it make him fidget around.
Soon enough they found a dirt path but right before he was able to step foot on it a voice entered his mind. It definitely didn’t belong to Sven, it was far too feminine and besides, there was something different about it. It was like his ears hadn’t picked it up at all, it was just in his mind. He tried to replicate what they must of done so he concentrated until he got what he felt was right. Hopefully it was or he was just talking to himself.

~Hello? I’m out here I guess, depending on where here is for you~
Suddenly he realized Sven had said something, Aksel hadn’t heard so he hoped it wasn’t important. He then caught the next thing he said though.
“You hear that kid?”

A grin spread across Aksel’s face as he looked over at Sven.
“Yeah, I’m glad you heard it too. I guess that means I’m not insane.” He replied back to him in a half joking half-relieved voice.

Jason had never been more happy in his life, deciding to travel the world instead of going back for more schooling was probably the best decision he had ever made. He currently found himself on Cape Verde, an island off the west coast of Africa. Very nice vacation spot, Jason wasn't sure he'd want to live here full time but he could definitely see himself coming back here on a return trip. He was sure the government knew about him, with all the time he spent in airports he'd be surprised if they didn't. What confused him was how come they had never approached him yet. He knew his power could be dangerous, or as they'd say "useful," but that would just make them want to use him more. Maybe they were trying to find a way to not be affected by his powers, at any rate he was happy he could just live his life.

But just as he was thinking it his thoughts were interrupted by a voice, a female one, calling out to him. It didn't sound like a real voice though, it sounded like a voice in his head. Shortly after a male voice responded, with some hesitation as Jason would expect, followed by yet another voice. He wasn't exactly sure what was going on, his best guess was these were other people with abilities. Jason had never met someone with an ability, or if he had he didn't know they had one. He suddenly became excited at the prospect of meeting someone like himself. Um, hello? Can you hear me? He was asking any of them, if they all heard him that was great, if just one it was still better than nothing. Or Jason was just going crazy and these voices were just in his head and not other people like him, though he doubted that.

Colonel Winters or Agent Psi as he came to be known recently was flying to the Middle East once more to hunt down and terminate a recently discovered terrorist who had developed super human abilities. Details were sketchy at best who he is and about what he could do. He has already destroyed an area large enough to obliterate Camp Eggers, US Embassy, and the Afghan Presidential Palace. The destruction has thrown the country into chaos. What is left of the Afghanistan government is demanding answers and Agent Psi was going to deliver them, namely a corpse.

He was provided with a squad of 13 human Marines to provide fire support.

Irene felt excitement run up and down up her spine. She was on a trip. To Cape Verde. Paid completely by Boss Man. Of course she was given an adult escort of a single nice lady from the base. Her name was Kacey or something. Irene couldn't remember, she was terrible at names. Apparently there were special people like her here and she had to bring them back home where they'd be safe. He told her to bring them in any way she could. She would do her best to convince them.

"Hey, uh... Nice lady." Irene squished Bill against her chest while giving her puppy dog eyes. "I, uh, think it might be best if I... If I look for them alone. I think if they saw you they'd be scared. I know I'd be if I didn't know you."

The nice lady nodded her head. "Fine, but I'll be keeping an eye on you from afar. I don't want you getting hurt or into any trouble."

Irene giggled. "OK, you're so nice, worrying about me and stuff."

The lady smiled as she stepped away from the docks that they were standing on. Irene was sure the nice lady wouldn't be far at all, but she had to go looking for special people. She walked into the street and looked around with an excited smile. Then she heard several voices and looked around wondering where they were coming from. No one's lips were moving the same way that the words were.

~Um.... Um... Hi.~

She felt really nervous now. New people. How would she deal with them? She hoped they were as nice as the Boss Man and would listen to her.

Aria stared at the village with a look of distaste. She'd always seemed more comfortable in cities (which of course makes perfect sense to me*), and this village was much smaller than what she was used to. It wouldn't be the size of the buildings, nor the foreign northern style that bothered her. It would be how the village seemed to abruptly end. Some part of her was ingrained with the notion that cities should just keep sprawling on forever.

The Italian government had sent her northward to ascertain the density of Subjects north of some arbitrary border around the French impactor. It was all very technical, and I frankly don't think Aria had much idea of what she was supposed to be doing. {Ah! What do you mean? I've been perfectly competent.} She'd been more-or-less been wandering steadily northward from one randome town to another. {Yeah, well Giovanni hasn't called me, hey. What's he expect me to do?} Flashes of text overlaid her vision periodically, describing what she'd just done. The visions were getting worse, harder to control, more pervasive. I don't think that she could remember how she even got to this particular village, not when you consider how long she'd been staring at the lonely dirt road leading into it.

With sudden determination, Aria shifted her gaze onto a brick wall. I don't want to think about what the locals thought of her. Perhaps they all thought she was just a crazily-determined tourist, braving radiation, depopulation, disgruntled governments, and Subjects just to get a bit closer to nature. She must have found the wall very fascinating, because she kept staring at it rather than move up into the nice little village ahead. {Stop writing, for a second, would you? I'm getting a headache.}

A passing boy stared at the strange lady who was talking to a brick wall before continuing on. Aria kept at it. The visions refused to leave. Given how long she'd been standing there, I've revised my theories. Aria was staring at a brick wall, trying to focus on reality, not the visions. Rather annoyingly, however, she kept seeing text describing her trying to stare at the brick wall so that she wouldn't have to see the text describing her staring at a brick wall. {Stop that.} But now the text seemed to be stuck in an infinite loop, {Oh, God, no.} describing her staring at a brick wall so she could stop seeing the text about her staring at a brick wall so she could {No.} stop seeing the text about her staring at a brick wall {Argh! Enough!} so she could stop seeing the text about her staring at a brick—. Mercifully, a voice in her head interrupted.

~Oh!~
~Is anyone out there? Hello?~

"Now what?" Aria asked the author. "You decided to start talking to me? Bad enough that you keep a freaky chronicle of my life, but now you want to actually talk to me? Am I even the only person who can hear you?"

*Hello?*
~Hello? I’m out here I guess, depending on where here is for you.~

"Oh, marvelous. There's more of you. And I thought that the author was the only one," Aria said. She was (not that she knew it) uselessly speaking to thin air. "Maybe if I talk over you... people, I won't have to listen."

There was a mumbling buzz in her head. Apparently she could talk over the voices, letting her ignore them.

"Maybe I'm just crazy," Aria said, not for the first time. "Hey there, voices! Welcome to the party! I can't wait to see what the author has to say about you." Aria paused. No visions of white text. Figures. Why would her powers actually be controllable for once? She tried to think some very specific thoughts at the author. Regrettably, I couldn't see them, because this isn't written in third person omniscient point of view.

No, really, Aria, you can stop trying that any time you like.

You look like a madwoman, you know. Staring at that wall.

I'm sure that there's a lovely inn if you just walk a bit further into town. Come on. Just a bit further. Maybe you could make a friend. You like friends, right? OH! Of course. *ahem*. With a sudden flash, the visions of white text came back into view. The town ahead of her looked very nice; very quaint, and welcoming, like one might want to enter it and find a lovely inn to stay the night, perhaps indicative of the beginnings of a great adventure, or perhaps full of friends, waiting to be made.

Agent Psi thought about the first he was sent to deal with while he flew to the next. She was a beautiful woman, she had legs that wouldn't quit and a rack to die for. She could generate or manipulate the pheromones, he still wasn't sure which. These pheromones put men and women completely under her spell no matter what their sexual orientation, straight women, gay men, would fall madly in love with her. She used their love to make them fork over everything they owned and to steal everything they could.

He went in alone that time posing as a rich oil tycoon from Texas. She ate it up, it was easy to lure her into a trap. She was sedated and shipped back to a research facility in the States. He did have his fun with her first though, she was unbelievable in the sack. He would have loved to have dated her if she wasn't an evil mutant.

Alice was pleasantly surprised to hear voices respond. For her first time breaking through, she was rather excited.

~I can hear you all.~

She paused, counting in her mind quickly.

~Three male and two female voices. Hello!~

Alice wanted nothing more than to make friends with others like herself. She tried to keep a distance from normal folk in order to protect them from the dangers she may bring. Actually she was acutely aware that she could be bringing them now. She tried to weigh the positive and negative outcomes of reaching out in such a way. When she began learning the art of meditation she decided the positives would be worth it but doubt nagged at her. Still she continued on, pressing further and further into the channel trying to reach as many as she could.

~We must be careful, the world's governments are out to get us as you all probably know. I think the best idea to survive is to unite. We don't have to fight back, just work together and find a safe place or make one.~

As soon as she finished 'speaking' she regretted half of what she said. Doubt grasped her, challenging if she can trust these other people and injecting fear into her mind. No, it was better to try to find companions. They would all die for sure otherwise. It's easy to pick off a divided people bit by bit but much harder to conquer a people united.

~I may have found a safe place.~

Alice waited on edge for the others to respond.

A safe place you say? Jason wasn't sure what he thought about staying in once place. But the idea of a group of them instead of just being alone did appeal to him. Perhaps meeting up in person would be a good first step, I'm quite interested in meeting you all, Jason couldn't wait to see what kind of abilities they would all have. It would also be nice to finally interact with some other people. Since he started his travels he spoke with some locals and other tourists where he went but he never formed strong bonds with any of them. It was a simple hello, some other small talk then they were on their way. He didn't mind being alone, but sometimes he wished he could spend his time with someone else. Maybe even settling down eventually, picking his favourite vacation spot and just staying there.

But now he wanted to meet these people, he addressed the girl who originally called out to them all, where are you right now? I'd like to meet up, he wasn't sure how this telepathy ability worked so these people could be right next to him or half way across the world. At any rate, wherever they were Jason would get there. He finally had a goal, instead of just wandering around he knew where he needed to go.

Sven was a little caught off guard when things lit up. All sorts of different voices started speaking this time, and he listened to every one of them intently. It's not like he knew the location of the others, nor did they know his. Sven wasn't exactly about to give his up so soon either. Just because they were genetically mutated, doesn't mean they weren't going to hold a threat against him. Couldn't exactly be too sure that the government officials were tapping into the mind speak just as they were talking. He had heard about earlier instances were some hunters were pulling off stunts that seemed almost inhuman. Just the sort of things that Sven pulled off.

A cloud of smoke was blown from Sven's mouth as it quickly scurried off and got carried away by the light wind some place. He inspected what he could of the people that were talking, trying to grasp as much of them as he could. They sounded either snarky, too friendly or a little too gung ho for his liking. He didn't like a lot of people all that much anyway.

"Don't jump the gun, kid. Let's wait a moment.." Sven had said while looking back at Aksel with a serious look upon his face. Sven had known that Aksel could hear it too, so he stood there in silence without moving, hearing the last of what everyone had to say. It wasn't very much like him to give away info, or meet with someone he didn't know on a regular basis. He already had a companion, why would he need anyone else?

*A safe place? Ha. Skip the introductions. I'm usually on the move, not sure where I am...*

It wasn't a great idea to meet with them, but it sure wasn't a horrible one either. He might have to hear more of their story and gain some trust before anything like that happens. Sven was usually skeptical, and that's one of the skills he's thankful to have. Sven turned his body over to face Aksel for a second with a short pause before speaking.

"What do you think, Aksel?"

Elizabeth's head snapped up when she heard a voice in her head. Voices in her head weren't unusual, but they were either at her prompting or were ones she knew. This was a new one. That was an unwelcome development. She was fairly certain that she wasn't actually insane, just mildly sociopathic. She'd raided the minds of a couple of therapists to learn about such things to try and work out if she was crazy and while she might be, she thought it unlikely. Which meant that someone could get into her head. Which meant that her head wasn't as secure as she'd thought. Her eyes narrowed.

On the other hand, she mused as she mentally commanded James to pull the car over. A twist in her head to change the sound of her mental voice and another to place her in the head and Amanda before, That could work. Where and when? Her mental voice came out as a gruff male.

Another mental command sent the car back into motion. She would need someone to send to the meet. Preferably someone she'd never need again. Just in case. Well, there was an almost limitless supply of people in London alone. And enough of them would be able to afford to fly somewhere at need. And some of those could even disappear without drawing so much attention that things could become awkward.

Theta was actually enjoying himself, having recently passed through a [random and nameless for story convenience] city and gotten himself a fair surpluss of emotional energy, and near as he could tell avoided attracting unwanted attention during that time. So now he got something he found to be exceedingly rare since he could only do it when he had plenty of stored up energy, Peace, quiet, and solitude, far a fair enough distance from civilization that it was unlikely he'd be disturbed.

He's currently fairly high up in a large tree, splayed across a branch leafy enough to conceal him despite his current lack of disguise, a rare moment of comfort and relaxation... well, to him, afterall, when you're covered in a hardened carapace resting on wood is hardly a big deal. The Forest around him was veritably silent as well... he assumed this was actually his doing, being foreign, of a strange scent, and likely reeking of 'giant insect', the ambient wild-life expectably quieted down, even if he didn't intend to 'eat' them he certainly wasn't complaining about the peace.

Of course, this perfectly peaceful and quiet moment made it all the more shocking when he suddenly started hearing voices!

-Is anyone out there? Hello?- It was like a voice right in his ear out of nowhere when he couldn't sense any human emotions or even odd scents nearby.

"GYAH, SHIT!" Naturally, Flinching violently away from a voice that isn't there, while on a tree-branch, is not a healthy thing to do. "Ohhh nonoNoNONONO!, OOF!... UGH!... Ow!" Several thuds and a couple of woody cracks later and he finally impacted dirt, the last branch he'd hit currently cracked under him. "Uuugh, My head..." Reflexively he moved a claw up to rub the side of his head, quite glad the horn didn't get buried in one of those branches, though the impacts were still brain jarring... then he realized.

"wait... my head...voice in my head!" He'd experienced something similar a few times before, namely when communicating with a 'husked' victim, though that was always deadpanned and responsive, this one was vibrant and curious, then more voices came, various different hellos and questions from different voices... when it was just one voice he worried about it being someone trying to exercise some nasty mental power they may have developed... he hadn't encountered one personally, but after examining 'himself' further, he had all kinds of theories about what else might be out there now.

But now that there were several voices, it seemed a lot more like some form of general communication, since 'all' of them seemed confused or new to it... he only had Moderate experience with mental communication as it was, he just had to hope the same concepts he normally works will still apply to this and work... First of course, he Trotted over to a different tree and clawed his way back up to a safely concealing branch, just incase the noise attracted one of Karma's pawns, something he called people in unusual places at the right times, such as, if a random hunter were to show up investigating noises in the forest.

Once safely hidden again he relaxed and set to his attempts at communication... Though the other's voices all sounded quite normal, 'his' voice would come across far stranger, with a vibratory if not slightly buzzy tone to his voice... Mental voice was no as easy to change as the physical one.

-Greetings? It's strange to try communicating without being certain other's can hear me...-

He also began attempting to 'reach out' and see if he could pick up on the emotions of the other's through this sudden form of communication... he imagined such would be especially useful if it worked. [up to GM! :D]

-If you can hear 'me' as well, I would love to join you... Until now I have been forced to seek dangerous and populated areas in order to stay alive... I would so much prefer kindred spirits to sheep-like masses and Government agents... I just hope you all can move without being tracked... I'm good at that, but I know how troublesome it can be to those more easily watched once discovered.

That aside, I am good at finding safe places as well, perhaps I can help... Pardon me if my enthusiasm is... excessive, but the feeling of being 'alone amongst the masses' is somewhat sickening to me and I am eager to get away from it.

If I might offer a suggestion though... we should be 'intelligent' about describing the place we should meet up... rather than just give an exact and obvious location... Call me paranoid, it's entirely possible that those of us who are 'free' are not the only ones recieving this conversation, if you get my meaning.
-

It was quite the sudden change from his usual carefully disguised loneliness, people to actually talk to, that know what it's like to be 'different' in that certain way, perhaps not precisely the way 'he' is, but they were the best chance of finding any sort of long-term companion... But there's always the chance of one of them being an even greater threat than the government stooges on the chase. He likes the philosophy of 'anything is possible, and nothing is 'impossible'', So it stands to reason that if there are good and bad normal humans, naturally there could also be bad ones amongst 'them' as well.

A safe place. Irene didn't quite understand why she would be worried about finding a safe place. The US government facility for her people was really nice and safe. There were several other responses voicing concern about the dangers of the governments. She didn't get it. Were she not uncomfortable around new people, she would be one to speak up and object to their concerns. Three round meals a day, a nice warm bed, and plenty of toys for her to play with. Plus they gave her a new mommy and daddy that took care of her when she was there. She missed them very much, but she felt she wanted to help out with their saving the lost special people.

~W-where?~

She looked over at the nice lady that was still keeping an eye on her. She pulled out a pack of sticky notes and wrote a note to her saying, "This will let you hear what's going on around me just in case some of the new special people are meanies." She then whispered into it. "Whimsur." and imbued it with a spell that would let the nice lady listen in. Of course there was no way the nice lady would be able to talk with Irene, but that was just a small limit to the magic. She stuck the note on a nearby wall and walked away as she noticed the nice lady begin to approach it. Her magic always required her knowing where the target was, but since she was the target of the spell that made it really easy.

Irene felt a bit excited and nervous about meeting new people.

Aksel was shocked when he heard so many voices going off in his head at once; his own thoughts were hyperactive enough without so many others joining in. The fact that there was such a relatively small amount of people joining in and that he and Sven could hear it meant that it was most likely other genetically altered people. It was exciting to say the least to know that there were all these others that might be like him, at least in a vague sense. He waited a bit until he heard the original voice claiming there was a safe place. Depending on how safe it really was it seemed preferable to wandering through the woods of wherever the hell they were.

He heard Sven’s warning to not jump the gun, like he could even if he wanted to. Their location was a mystery, even to him. It was a little scary now knowing where he was now that he thought about it, they could be anywhere. Hopefully Sven knew where they wer-

*A safe place? Ha. Skip the introductions. I'm usually on the move, not sure where I am...*

Damn, looked like they were on the same page here. Instead of worrying over it Aksel shifted nervously about, weighing the pros and cons of going. Really if they showed up there was as likely a chance that paradise awaited them as death, actually death was far more likely. He heard Sven ask what he thought and Aksel donned a thoughtful expression for just a moment before his smile spread across his lips.

“I say we hear her out and if we decide she can be trusted we try it out, if it doesn’t work then we get our way out of it like we always do.”

The young woman was shopping in a grocery store, gaze scanning the apple selection. She looked ordinary enough. A bit eccentric with her outfit for the place, she was dressed in a long sleeve pink sweater, a knee length denim skirt, and a wide red belt that would be more at home on an anime girl than real life. But she did seem to have stepped out of a manga with the near perfect long, blonde hair, almost sparkling in the light. A long hair clip kept her bangs out of her face, making it easy to see her light brown eyes.

A store clerk that was working the produce wandered over and asked if she needed help, but instead of answering normally, she pulled out an electric notepad and wrote her answer on its face before lifting it up for the man to read. She couldn't talk, it seemed. A mute maybe? The clerk, in response to what was written, nodded before pointing towards the granny smith display in the center of produce, then smiled and wished her a good day.

The woman smiled and nodded back, quickly making a beeline over to pick out a few of the green, tart apples, added them to her basket, then headed to check out.

Esailia Sighed as she almost jogged away from the store. Sometimes she wondered if it was worth the trouble of avoiding the governments that wanted to learn more about that meteor. Always sneaking around, looking over one's shoulder, praying that there wasn't an agent on her tail. There were others like her, chattering away telepathically as if it couldn't be spied upon. Just like any other form of remote communication, it created waves in the air that could be detected, given you had the proper sensory modification. She learned this when she was almost caught after leaving the hotel she stayed at long ago, on top of learning about how the governments were after people like her.

She only had a theory of course, but how else would they have known about her? No doubt there was some folder with her name on it in an office cabinet somewhere in a government building...

Esailia pulled an apple out of her grocery bag, biting into it as she pondered the offer of a safe haven as well. While it wasn't the best idea, what did she have to gain over losing? She could gain allies, people she can work with to survive. She could be caught, and experimented on like in her nightmares. She could teach others how to control their thoughts and protect themselves from the governments. She could be forced to tell agents how to better find others like her with torture...

She took another bite of her apple, sighing and in her head muttered a curse in german....

~I agree with one of you. It's probably safest not to say directly where I am. As you can guess, this is a huge risk for me- us. Especially if Government Informants can hear this too. We can set up a place to meet if you think that is best. A public place with lots of people. It would be easier to blend in and if Government informants are there, they would be less inclined because of all the innocent people right?~

Alice hoped that she would have a chance to meet these people. The ones that were on her side at least. She knew there was only so long one could last on their own, and with her inexperience on so many topics she was practically a sitting duck. Especially now that she has gotten the attention of many other 'Specials'.

~Does anyone have an idea of where to meet?~

Alice decided she would try to move and communicate with these new people as opposed to stay in one place. She found herself feeling all to venerable sitting in one place meditating in the dirt among her plants. She hoisted herself off her bum onto her hands and knees and began planting. She was using seeds she had collected before from these same plants not too many months ago. The all-inclusive resort was having a hard time attracting people and the dead plants all over weren't helping. Alice figured she could work here and it gave her a chance to work with more exotic plants that she had yet to encounter. Of course she kept 3 seeds of every kind of plant she encountered. Alice had reinforced all of her pockets with a special kind of fabric to make sure her seeds were not damp, crushed or lost. She loved Cape Verde for all of the opportunities she had with the plants. She had a particularly hard time with the carnivorous plants that could survive the local climate but the challenge just made the en-devour to talk to them all the more pleasurable. Alice was covered in a thin layer of rich soil, her arms and hands more so. She continued to dig holes with her hands and plant the seeds. Finally getting to her real job.

Esailia rubbed her forehead again as she turned the corner into a less tasteful part of town. She had long since scared away thugs that dwelled here before with a few hallucinations after abusing their drugs. She headed down the alley, listening to this girl chatter away. As Esailia unlocked and slipped into a doorway near the end of the alleyway, she finally decided to respond. Tossing the bag onto the counter, she rushed to her sleeping mat, taking a seat and folding her legs under her. Centering her mind, she focused in on the small kitten she had back in the states...

~I've had enough of this. You're putting us all at risk. Of course they can hear you, you nit. Stop broadcasting like a radio, they can find others by tracing where you're sending your messages. There is a place, but if and when we meet, you MUST stop blanketing the area with psychic shouts.~

Esailia kept her mind on that kitten as she continued.

~To close the link between us, center your mind on something simple. it is best if it is something you're emotional attached to. Then speak through it to me. Doing this will make our link solid and hard to break into.~

~Fine, i'll just pick a place; Cape Verde. Lets just meet up there, I've heard it's very nice and full of people.~ Alice decided to just blurt out. She hoped that she made it sound like she too would have to travel there. It would attract everyone yes, but better that and find people like her than to stay alone. They could unite and fight against the government forces. They must be stronger as a group... right? Alice was unsure about the others but she felt that she would be fairly safe on the island with her plants. There was flora everywhere, she would be alright. She just had to convince herself of that.

Alice methodically and passionately planted her seeds. She would come back tomorrow to help them grow. Standing up she gathered a hose and began to water the plants and give them as much of a head start as she could.
Makoto had been sitting quietly listening to the interchange of voices. It was good then that she came to Cape Verde. She was quietly waiting in a local clinic for her supplies, keeping aware of her surroundings as much as possible without being totally obvious. Her way of doing so was to change the air around her ever so slightly. Normal people would think it felt ever so slightly different but not enough to pay any attention to it. Makoto however was attuned to feel for a disturbance in her little 'bubble'.
