Besides eRode cocking up my plans for the CS tab (<3 u boo), I really like what I'm seeing so far from y'all.

@Vox
fuck me that really captures the entire spirit of danmachi

i love it

@Renny
Take all the time you need. Except uh, until Thursday. That's the deadline.

just as a particular jab to erode's kidneys, if i say a character is fine, i see no problem, i love it, etc, they're technically not accepted yet and you shouldn't post them in the character tab. this is because i'm bulk accepting on thursday afternoonish.

Quinn Leiurus || Anarchy Red

Much to her surprise, her ridiculous idea of having everyone introduce themselves was an actual success. Well, it wasn't a very difficult thing. It was mostly just having the cognitive and respectfulness of a kid who just entered junior high. Her opinions of people didn't really change. Sanimus was all business. Competency was the name of the game. Did you get competence when you were a rag-tag group of criminals? Considering how all of them were technically in prison, probably not. She was pretty big on meritocracy, or whatever ocracy involved just being actually strong. Still though, her interests aligned with Quinn's decently which was nice.

Jackie was just weird and sad, so Quinn mentally blocked out the fact that the girl refused to speak. At this point, it wasn't even funny anymore. Quinn just felt bad for her.

Sharkman was hilarious. He was manic and called himself shark twink. Oh man, was that going to stick. Career criminal and general murderer. He was just in it for the money which... made it easy?

Old Man Corvus shared the ideal of society being ran by power. Besides that, he was just a dude with a bird fetish. Not really much changed about her initial impression about him.

Their fearless leader introduced herself. Hitman, team leader, and hating the hypocrisy of heroes. Well, she was a leader. She told the plan. Basic stuff. Scouts from the dandy, Jackie and Sharkman would act as a distraction, and she and Animus would be on the demolition team. It was a prospect that made Jackie practically salivate. Explosives were fun as shit, even with the chance that they blow off a few fingers. Without any further waiting, Quinn entered the helicopter alongside her newfound teammates.

Still, it was nice to just get to know people.

While going into a plan at such a rate was risky, Quinn was down. As the helicopter touched down, and everyone acting as efficiently as they could, Quinn left helicopter with the radio communicator in her ear and two bags of explosives around her hips. She could have let Sana hold one. Emphasis on could. It was really a question of should. Should the person who is able to create fire hold enough explosives to open a whole in solid concrete walls? Probably not. For the sake of her own safety, she would carry the explosives.

Corvus did his thing and detailed everything for them. The one thing that was interesting was a class of USJ students and... their foe. The figurehead of All Might: Enterprise. She was here. That complicated things.

"Feel like going all sneaky beaky like? I don't feel like inciting the wrath of Enterprise just yet."

Quinn unfurled her stinger and nonchalantly waltzed towards the facility. The building was incredibly easy to enter. They actually left the vehicle bays open. Corvus was right, security was lax. There wasn't anything too impressive about the facility. It was a pretty standard factory. Though, the building was built a bit better than most. Probably because it contained so much specialized equipment, Quinn had thought. Well, no real point in dwelling on the little things. Eighth door on the left, a few workers outside, security guards inside.

Well, easy enough.

Quinn continued her uncaring walk towards the machine room as she walked with the sounds of machinery and tools as cover. Really, were it not for the fact that she was in full villain garb, she would have blended right in with the low-paid factory workers. The unlucky few who she got close enough in which their attention had turned from their work to Quinn had been met with a quick flurry of stabs from Quinn's stinger. A simple one, two, three all within half of a second, they quickly dropped to the ground. The workers still drew breath, but they remained unable to move their bodies as their eyes failed to focus and their drool dripping out.

Once they reached the eighth door on the left, it was just a matter of entering the machine room, shuting down the power, then dashing to the warehouse to setup the explosives. Easy-peasy. Carefully looking at the keypad, it was obviously apparent that it was incredibly easy to get in. Quinn wasn't exactly a master of electronics, but it was simple enough to figure out the code. The eight was the most worn, followed by the four, then two, and lastly seven. The code was just 8427. With a disappointed shake of the head, Quinn turned to Sana.

"So once this door opens, we're pretty much rushing a bunch of goons."

OOC is up, mostly because it's easiest for me to get this out before the weekend is over. For any further questions, character sheets, et cetera, all you gotta do is ask there. Feel free to repost your character sheet (or not, because I'm still checking this thread like a manic and will check all characters again when it's time to fully deliberate. Deadline will most likely be at around Thursday, 5PM PST. This gives you a little under four days to finish your character sheet. IC would probably start between after deciding all of the cast and some point during the weekend.

I'm still going to be active here, in case some wayward soul posts here instead. They have to live with the shame of posting in the IC when the OOC exists, though.

@RC3
I don't see any problems, so now it's just a matter of waiting for everyone else who's interested.

It drives us all. That old stagnant air and that uncomfortable humidity serves only to push us further. People who don't enter the labyrinth don't really get it, do they? Even with the danger, the grossness, and horrible prospects of retirement, it's all worth it just to find something that nobody else has. Even with the solitude of those dank corridors, adventurers are brought closer together than if they were in those traps where the walls close in on you. The depths are where friendships are forged. Really, isn't that what's most important about the journey—the friends you make along the way? Well, that and massive piles of gold. Massive piles.

An alliance of gods brought together by a common goal. Such a thing is not uncommon for the more noble deities within Orario. However, most of these alliances are simply that of friendships. Gods being friends with gods, therefore they help each other. This alliance, however, was different. Born of common goals rather than pleasantries, a collective of gods had formed in order to fight against a common threat. While their conflict is great and will have severe repercussions throughout Orario, this isn't the tale of gods and their petty politics.

No, this is a tale about their symbol of unity. Formed as a sign of their alliance, this small group of rookie adventurers had no idea what was in store for them as a consequence - and blessing - for their formation. While they were nothing more than regular adventurers when they began, each one of them had that small spark of greatness that is found in so many legends. Together, those sparks would coalesce into a legendary tale of adventurers.

@Renny

Two primary issues. As thematically fine as having your character be named Cringe Noname is, my lifespan is incredibly shortened every time I type it out so I'm going to veto that name. Please have one that won't make me want to die every time I type it out. I beg of you.

Second (and frankly the biggest issue) is Tiamat's Talon. In the standard Danmachi mythos, Hestia Knife has the same effect. Hestia knife also cost Hestia MASSIVE PILES that still aren't paid back iirc and Hephaestus even stated that making it was a mistake and she (and any blacksmith for that matter) should never do it again. That's pretty much like RPing a elementary school sports festival RP and your character is Dwayne the Rock Johnson.

So those two things are the main flaws I have. Besides that, it's mostly just a 'as long as he doesn't pull an actual edgelord' and remains as his satirizing self.

@ERode
I see no problems here. Besides the fact that y'all are trynna get me banned with degeneracy. I CAN WORK WITH THIS. I HAVE FAITH IN MY POWER OF AVOIDANCE.
Are pantyshots okay?

holy shit, asking the hard questions

er on the side of caution.

if it's a panty shot for the sake of a panty shot, no. if it's funny or would make character interactions a dream, no.

i'd never thought i would have to ever answer this question, but here i am
@Saltwater Thief

I'm not really a first come first serve type person.

@Hammerman

From what I can tell, there's no real core issues I can spot. I would, however, ask you to tone the ecchi stuff down a touch. As perverted danmachi is already, I don't want to ride the edge of what's acceptable on this site. Just a lil som som to keep in mind.

Also you posted your image twice so you can remove the one under appearance.
@Hammerman@RC3@ERode@Argonaut@Jerkchicken

Neato, here's a character sheet for the RP. For the most part, you can just follow the Danmachi wiki for this kind of stuff.

Name:
(Don't put an alias. That's for the gods to decide in their weekly forums.)

Race:
danmachi.fandom.com/wiki/Races

(Honestly, if you want to be an unlisted race that's a beast race, IE. Werebat, just write it down. General rules are don't put god here and don't put spirit here.")

God:
(Non-canon, BABY! If you want to let me do all the work, just put a name down. Otherwise, god CS. I'm still going to control them, though. Feel free to share a god. Just ask the other d00d)

Appearance:
(If you have an image, give things like height. People love comparing heights so they can have their character call people short. Don't feel the need to just restate your picture.)

Personality:
(To make sure we don't get eight incarnations of muh boi who just wants to pork in a dungeon)

Backstory:
(Don't fret too much over being unique. Just give your character some m o t i v a t i o n)

I'LL RECORD KEEP THESE FOR YOU. This means I can freely update them when you get a stat boost/level up, etc. This is just to establish the baseline.

Skills:
(If necessary. You can always acquire skills later. Generally, skills are passive, but there are some exceptions.)

Magic:
(If applicable. 1-3 spells gained from your falma. Put them in bold if you have them. The rest come later from grimoires)

Equipment:
(Things that a Lv1 would have. Basic armour, basic weapons, special items IF NECESSARY. You'd probably only get special stuff if your god wubs u uwu)

Stats:
Lv. 1
(Brief explanation: levels can only be completed by completing a heroic task. Upon completion, you get a massive power boost and all of your stats revert to zero. Stats natively increase when they're flexed - like muscles.

STR is how much you can lift, END is how much you can take, DEX is how well you can move, AGI is how fast you can move, INT is how big your brain is for spells. Stats are 0-999 thematically, BUT I'M REMOVING NUMBERS FROM THE EQUATION.

For simplicity sake, we're just using [letter]-/ /+. IE, I-, G+, E. These aren't rigid numbers, these are just to gauge STR so we understand things. LV1 I- would be like a standard weak nerd meme while LV1 S+ would be the ability to cut an orc's head off in one swing.

Try to balance your stats and not be a D-boi. The average _should_ be around E- at the start of the RP.)

STR: I- to D+
END: I- to D+
DEX: I- to D+
AGI: I- to D+
INT: I- to D+

Name:
(Choose one from any mythos, IF YOU DARE. If you choose an outer god like Tsathoggua, I'm coming to your house to beat you up.)

Personality:
(How they behave. The more sparse you leave this, the more I'll fill in the blanks. Generally, the god has to be able to work on a team without trying to cut the throats of everyone else.)

Reputation:
(Generally on the good side of things - REMEMBER THIS. Put in what they're known for - like special products, services, etc if applicable. Know that good is super subjective. I'd allow shady stuff like not filing taxes, but no nefarious backstabbing gods.)

Power Level:
(Give a relative value of how big and strong of a familia they are. Total number of people, strength comparison, a power out of ten, etc.)

Hey, is this an RP based on Danmachi all about delving into dungeons and gettin FAT STACKS? Hell yea it is dude. You up for a nice world that can go dark sometimes? This is the place. Want to clear out hella monsters, explore constantly changing floors, and just be a general nuisance to every dungeon dwelling monster?

I'd probably cut out and rearrange a bunch of stuff from Danmachi. While the spirit remains the same, I don't want to really follow any of the canon story. Some mechanics would be renamed and stuff like that. Basically small changes here and there.

Story would probably follow a group of new-ish adventurers from different familias who were forced placed into a party together by their gods.

This is just a really quick run-down before I commit a big amount of things. Would probably accept a small group of 4-5 people.
