Anyway, I don't think the players should be the ones tasked with dictating the plot of a RP, they do their input and move things around, but ultimately, where the story goes depends on the GMs, not the players.

Or so I believe.

Sorry I feel like it shouldn't always be the case, I had more drops of player with others rps when a specific plot was called out then a plot chosen by the players themselves. I hope we can roleplay together again in the future

Yes we had this discussion before, I have been in coma for the last week so ill try to catch up to what has happened and make a few posts IC today, I don't mind making a plot or thinking up one or whatever but one thing really bothers me and that is the way of how everyone reacts or more like how they dont react. I have had this with the past 2 rps of my own that there is no motivation at all from basically everyone except a few. I ask them what they want and don't reply with anything or like a line that gives me no advice. I struck up plots which I thought about for a few days and no reaction. I myself am thinking now that im really bad on thinking up my own plots and well that doesnt come in favor with these kind of scenarios. so what im basically asking is do you have a form of plot in mind? I have one thing in mind and that is that frequent kidnap of freshman's close from school. demis are fairly rare and they sell for quite a price on the blackmarket. one of the four demi schools are therefor a pretty hefty price pot so it cant be avoided that there would be people trying to capture them around the city or school.

furthermore ill ask what lur or basically any player in the rp what they had in mind or wants to think up something for me to set in action.

Shiraga is enthusiastic and responsible, she’s rarely ever tardy and often comes around early by dusk to do her wonderful and graceful dances in the city proper under the moonlight and the lighting provided by her family and close friends, she dances because she wants to and she feels responsible to keep people happy and entertained, and in some cases, join her. This is the same for when she will escort a convoy of wagons or a carriage to another town or village.

While her dances may enchant passers by, this could also attract unwanted attention. Shiraga is not a killer, at least bound by the law in the city, she has no problems if it were she were around protecting her clients from wandering monsters around their path to the destination. In the city, she’ll go as far as crippling their limb temporarily, attempt to knock them out or just escape with her magic. Of course, she doesn’t do this all the time. When she feels that her opponents are easy, or are weak, she will continuously taunt and toy around with them, leading them towards obstacles they may not be aware of, nothing lethal of course, maybe lead them on a plight of stairs, or trip over rope, or fall onto some boxes, etcetera.

She is also shown to be outgoing and appreciates people who appreciate the dances she does just outside of public places. She earns a fair amount for her own allowance and spends time buying more flamboyant pieces of accessories, or when they situation calls for it, weapon maintenance.

Background

Shiraga was born like every other Oni in their village, always with two horns. She is the youngest child in her family followed by three older brothers born from different dates in time. Her entire family was in charge of theatrical performances, both setting it up and performing in them. They were known locally as The Storyteller Family in the village.
Feeling that her family’s talents could be shared around the world, little Shiraga suggested they go into the Capital that was Lugnica and perform there, she even assured that the people would love her performances, without any arguments, the entire family agreed and set out toward the Great Capital.

Over the years, her entire family had been everywhere around the more public areas in Lugnica, performing every other night to entertain and keep people happy. They were a hit for a time until Shiraga had come of age. Her mother taught her to how to dance the way she did in the previous years and her father, instead of teaching acting to her daughter, taught her about self-defense, the two took turns with their teachings every year she grew until she found out about her affinity of Wind Magic on her first performance at the age of twenty two when she tried to nail a backflip through a burning hoop at such an elevated height. She doesn’t know if her brothers had it too. Given that this was something unusual, she asked a fellow street performer the following night if he had the same affinity as her. Luckily for her, he did and offered to help teach her if he got a quarter of her funds from her next lovely performance. Of course she knew her budget would be tied next week, but she took the risk to learn it so it wouldn't go out of control like that ever again.

Several years later, her parents had different jobs. Her mother had just enough money to buy a small building for a class on dancing and acting. It isn’t that popular with most folks around Lugnica, but mostly women and young ladies join it to have a try. Shiraga and her brothers decide to go on with the performances, but limited it to once a week as the Oni took another job being the escort of carriages from Lugnica to another point in the world. The Oni took this job to support her brothers’ training funds (which are fairly affordable) so long as she keeps all that is given to her in every performance.

History with Olipher

During her escort jobs, Shiraga was paired with another armored Oni who was known for causing a ruckus wherever he goes, as a vagabond, this wasn't a big deal. He was this large, buff looking warrior who intimidates others with his equipment. Shiraga didn't mind one bit, she thought that if the caravan they were escorting needed someone big, then it would mean her pay was just as big all the same.

Finding her four years being taught by a seldom street performer in Wind Magic just wasn't enough to help her get the hang of something far beyond the basics. During the ride she would turn her back somewhere and quietly mutter the incantations of "El", only to fail horribly. She kept apologizing for the sudden disturbances and asked her temporary escort partner, Olipher to help her out and tutor her on how to use it.

Likes
Shiraga is very fond of dancing and her type of person must be rich and classy. Although, she also has a “highschool crush” on dashing bad boys as well.

Iruga is most described as a mercenary assassin. When he was hired to join a group or party (or willingly joins for his benefits). He rarely talks and shows little interest on others exploits, often staying only o collect his fee or he only did what he have done. Sometimes leave in the most inopportune moments.

Background

It was supposed to be longer but- One day there was two thieves, Iruga himself and his best friend Ernest. Ernest was a very smart guy, he made a plan to rob a new built mansion with just three steps. That is to get hired in the mansion, make a whole map of the mansion- and what is inside the rooms, and the last part was to grab n' go.

While escaping, Ernest got hit with two steel arrows to the pant leg and the side, Ernest begged Iruga to kill Ernest so he couldn't be brutally tortured before executed slowly. But Iruga can't so he ditched him along the loot.

Iruga escaped with a band of pirates, who is waiting, and when inside and away of the royal guard's sights, they pointed their swords to Iruga and demanded the loot. It's karma, he said. He was now a long-bound servant on the pirate ship.

Iruga was forced to fight and clean the ship for a year and a half, which was he was good at. Until one day he saw his friend again, Ernest, on a ship and as a battle tactician and strategist. The two ships fought and Ernest saw Iruga again.

They've been reunited but later killed by the pirate captain's cutlass and shouting to Iruga "be lucky, I saved your hide!". Ernest's last words are "a gift from your father in my quarters". So off he went, sneaked past swashbucklers and found his friend's quarters. Got a wooden box that was labeled for Iruga.

The Pirate team lost and Iruga was held in a brig but a commander recognized the box in Iruga's hands and declared theft. Of course, they calmed down when he said the gift was for him.. after a lot of pursuing.

iruga was shipped of to a city to the right of Lugunica, poor and with box at his hands. A year later and his life is miserable and knowing the box holds a pair of Katars and remembering how good he's at fighting, he gave mercenary contracts a try and struggled on it. Sure, he have killed people before, but this was different, he kills people for money. That kills his emotions for until now and was now known a relentless killer.

Appearance: Her general body shape is average, not fat yet not skin and bones. She uses mild amounts of makeup with the occasional red lipstick. She decorates her names with simple dark blue nail polish most of the time. She also has a noticeable purple rune on her mid back, about 2 inches below her shoulders.

Power: Isabella powers resides in the use of portals. These portals have a myriad of uses and capabilities. They can be used to summon weaponry, creatures(though usually nothing too complex and since it’s being transported, there’s no guarantee how well it’ll work), basic items, and other such things. They must immediately be put back into portals after use though, as they tend to have essences of her portal on them that, otherwise, could lead to unknown issues. Where they come from is currently unknown. However, it’s not limited to bringing objects to her location. She can effectively teleport herself or other beings to other locations in the world within an instant. However, she must have an idea of where she would like to go and the location. This is usually done by access of a phone she obtained with Google Earth on it. The moment she knows where to go, the act is simple. Such long trips cause massive energy drains upon her, usually leading to her having to rest for some time, usually about 6 hours.

Despite these advantages, Isabella has faults. Being quick on the draw of her portals takes far more concentration and is easier said than done. Closing portals themselves even takes a decent amount of focus. Overuse of portals can also lead to exhaustion and, even quicker than that, headaches and nosebleeds. Adding to that, the large she makes a portal, the more strain she endures and having multiple portals open at a time or creating multiple portals in rapid succession can drain her fast. She also is not accustomed to combat with the portals, primarily focusing on simply just grabbing things from her portals if need be. On top of that, she herself isn't very physically strong and isn’t very suited for combat. If someone were to get in close, she’s effectively defenseless outside of quick wit and thinking. She also tends to get frustrated easily in combat, making her even more vulnerable. Usually to make up for her poor defense, she summons something in front of her to protect her from oncoming hits.

The only really notable equipment is the hoodie she wears. It’s a hood that can change her appearance ever so slightly. It can shift between many other appearances, but the one defect is that they have to have a similar facial structure as her. With the right observance(and due to Isabella only really switching between 3 different appearances), it’s easy enough to tell it’s her. That, and it only changes the face. The body is left alone and should the hoodie be removed, its effects vanish as well.

Personality: The best term to describe Isabella is...awkward? Yeah, awkward is rather fitting. Awkward in the sense of interaction. She isn’t the type to completely stammer around her speech every time she opens her mouth, but she tends to not completely know what to say to start conversations. In fact, it’s not uncommon for her to try...pointing at things of interest in a desperate bid to talk to people. She also tends to talk on and on when she’s nervous(which usually only happens when she felt she’s said something weird)

Despite this, she still tries to be a decently friendly person when approached. She’s the type who always shimmers and brightens up when she learns about new things(nerd) and will try her damndest to learn more about it until she’s satisfied. She tries to be a cheery individual and an optimist at times, if a bit naive, though when things seem rather impossible, she has a tendency to panic. She’s admittedly the lazy type, at least with things she’s not entirely invested in, and while she does have a sense of dedication for subjects she knows requires it, otherwise she tries to find easier ways to do it. Except for school shockingly. In fact, she has a surprising fascination with school itself and even learning.

Another defining point is her desire to avoid conflict. She will have arguments if she feels she must(though it isn’t often), but actually fighting isn’t a preference usually. Usually when she does, she tries to just stay back and take care of things at a distance.

Background: Isabella comes from a simple family. A single child, it was always a case of getting advice from her parents or her friends. Either that, or just experimenting to see how things worked in life. She lived in your usual neighborhood, talked with her friends, and went on to school for her years of life. There wasn’t truly much of note as she considered it any girl or guy's usual school life, though she did face occasional bullies from her unusual life of studying.

However, at the age of 15, she mysteriously found herself slowly sinking into her bed. She wasn’t sinking as in “her bed was that soft,” but instead she was sinking into a strange black hole inside the lower part of the bed. Almost immediately, she jumped out in fear as she shouted for her parents. After an awkward morning of explanations, it was made apparent that her family had the uncanny ability to make portals that’s been going down for generations. Throughout the rest of her high school life, she tried keeping her powers a secret to her family. Occasionally, however, she’d sneak off and explore the world with these powers and go to places that most girls her age just couldn’t.

Then she got the letter from Pakora Academy. Gleaming at the fact that she could go somewhere where others were like her, she convinced her parents to help her sign up. Not too many months afterwards, she was packed and ready to go. Her parents also lent her a special little hoodie just in case. With that, she was off to meet this new school and this chance to see what life would bring her.

That’s at least what she’s said. Quite literally, there’s not many records of her parents, her, or anything of her personal life. Most of it is instead word of mouth from, well, her mouth. She does have a few documents however, that she does occasionally pull it when need be. She doesn’t even have much of a paper trail to speak of. Just bits and pieces of info here and there.

Noble Arm (The Bracers/Gauntlets of Grief) - In Cerdic's old world, a small percentage of humans can automatically manifest a mystic weapon,made up of unknown materials of supernatural durability and sharpness, but also light as air. This 'Noble Arm', the term for such weapons in Cerdic's world, can be conjured up as long as long as the weilder is awake and lucid, as it is a part of his or her being the moment it first appeared.

But now, the accident that transported Cerdic had fused him with his weapon permanently, marking him as no longer human. Those who look at him can see two bracers fused into his skin, with burnt scar tissue around them, a symbol of the price he had to pay for personal peace. With each type of power used, these bracers can expand into gauntlets or even armor, armor that is also fused to his flesh, further diliuting what remains of his humanity...

Famine - When Famine is activated, Cerdic's bracers expand into gauntlets made up of metal plates the color of parched earth, which can devour any attack that isn't physical in nature, aka anything that isn't fists, bullets, or thrown objects.

Pestilence - The armor plates, turn black, and crawl up to the rest of the arms, ending at the shoulder, and are still fused to Cerdic's body, grating additional protection. But the real danger is that when Cedric touches someone, he can infect his opponent with a range of negative effects based on how long he is in contact with his target; a few seconds mean dizziness, a minute means temporary paralysis.

War - The armor plates now crawl to cover the rest of the body, turning into shiny steel covered with blood spatters; this metal can withstand bullets and even railguns, and enhances speed, strength, and endurance to absurd levels. However, this requires the Famine skill to absorb a huge amount of power, enough to destroy a house.

Death - The armor, now covering Cedric's body, turns pure white, like ivory, and when Cerdic's life is truly threatened, emits a pulse of dark power that shuts down the brains of ordinary humans, killing them instantly unless defillbirated in five minutes. This desperation move only works on ordinary humans, and not half-humans, humans with magical powers, or humans with certain mystic relics...

Personality

Cerdic's main goal is this, to stay in the world of Pakora, where, he presumes, a different set of 'natural laws' prevent people from realizing the full ramifications of a world where some people, like him, have powers that set themselves apart from the rest of 'normal' humanity. These powers, from his experience, lead to a cycle of hatred and oppression (and granted, also Symbiosis), a cycle that had hurt him deeply, causing him to want to escape, and forget about such worlds...

Background

"You may not believe this - then again, this is a school known for weird things - but I come from a parallel universe. In this parallel world, there are only humans, it's just that since the forties', a small percentage of them are able to manifest magical weapons connected to one's hard and soul, called Noble Arms," Cedric would then turn towards the nearest mirror, measuring his expression as he thought of the best way to appeal to his imaginary audience.

"Those people who manifest Noble Arms learn how to use them in special 'Academies', like yours'," he imagined he was talking to people from Pakora, before continuing, "and I was no exception. I was born to a family of sportsmen - mostly swimmers - some of whom were 'lucky' to have moderately powerful Noble Arms. That was a happy life; I learned to swim, to run, to fence, as well as how to read, write, and do sums. Then my Noble Arm just had to manifest, and I had to go to the nearest Academy, one near Boston. I found out then that my Noble Arm was powerful enough to warrant me mandatory military service. A kid, faced with the life of a soldier just because of something he can't help!"

Facing the nearest mirror or reflective surface, Cerdic would continue, casting aside his emotional defenses, letting his lips scrunch up and his eyes open wide to show his pain. Then he would continue, his voice trembling:

"But despite that, I was still happy, I had friends, things were as ordinary as could be and my family made plans to make sure that my future service was as light as possible. Knowing them, things would have panned out if not for future events," Cedric's face hardened again, freezing with resentment.

"Then one day, a group called the 'Disablers', a terrorist group of normal human beings who thought of Noble Armsmen as inhuman monsters who would tread on humans one day, attacked my academy while we were asleep, using snipers, poison gas, assault rifles, and other ways of getting around the weakness of Noble Arms - the fact that one has to be awake and lucid to conjure them up. They were murdering us, they were murdering children, and they had to be stopped. So I killed them." Cerdic's composure wavers for a moment, then he continues:

"As I said, I killed them! And as I heard their dying screams of 'monster', 'terror', and the rictus of their dying faces as I activated Death, I saw why they wanted to kill us - we were a threat!" Cedric laughs, his voice dry and disbelieving, and faces his imaginary audience, then continues:

"I hated it, I hated myself, and so I did a foolish thing; my armor - which didn't fuse into my flesh at that time - grew a spike, which I drove into the ground; draining the earth of its energy; the resulting backlash would obliterate the remains of my former school, now a charnel house. And it worked, it worked, I used Famine while driving the spike into the world, and created a rift, the very portal that brought me to this world, to Pakora Academy itself."

"And I'm not coming back, I'm not coming back to my world. I'm staying here, you hear me?!" Tears fall from his eyes. "So please, let me make a new start..."

I don't know what Liferusher has in mind for the Royal Canidates, but sufficient to say unless one of us GM's bring them into the picture they're currently irrelevant to the RP. Yes the royal elections are something of a big deal in the LN and anime, but that is not the focus in this rp. This is more of a background build up to what may be the events of the current canon, and frankly considering who some of the players here are I'm not even going to pretend anything we do won't affect canon if we delve into it.

If for some reason you want to get involved in the Royal Election plot feel free to shoot an idea to the GMs. No promises that they'll happen though.
