@Relin@Matsuri Wanna go over a bit about their dorm life together?

@Chezka@samakama@SilverPaw How do you envision the Arcane Paints event going?

Also, Blu. Have club activities started officially yet?
How much time has passed since our first day?
I'm good for it.

That worked out way better than expected!

Having done her due diligence of slicing apart bows and pushing archers off rooftops, Cecilia returned to the group just in time to see the lizardman jam the things stuck in his body...deeper into his body. Was that a cultural thing? It definitely looked painful, and she winced upon seeing it all go down. Not like she knew any of them for more than a day, but after they've fought together rather than fought against each other, the Spellblade was willing to give him a pick-me-up, free of charge. Rummaging through her pack, Cecilia pulled out a small vial containing an ash-blue liquid before walking up to the barbarian.

"Here, drink up," she said, offering it to him. "It'll help with the pain a bit." Probably. Lizard physiology couldn't be that different from human physiology, right? Hopefully it'll numb it enough that he didn't keel over from agony after some more light jogging? Or even a full on sprint. Which was looking like a real good idea.

Reminded her though...

"Serafaye, right? How bout you take the lead here first then? Run as fast as you can and all! If you're so tough, maybe you'll just be like a battering ram and clear everything outta our way?"

At this point, stealth definitely seemed impossible. And if that's the point, they may as well veer off into the other extreme of escape: as loud as possible, as destructive as possible.

With his dorm mates having concluded their spat and busying themselves with their own interests, Kress began to organize his own stuff, popping open a small crate that contained his own possessions. Unlike Alberta, who consumed the entirety of their shared room with her possessions, Kress had done his research ahead of time; the entirety of his belongings could fit by the wall of his bunk bed…with some modifications, of course.

Claiming the bottom bunk for himself, the blue-haired youth carefully hammered in the nails necessary to secure an ornate, lacquered shelf, right over his bed, before lining it up with a variety of texts on magic theory, human anatomy, and architectural perspective. Under his bed, he slid in extra clothing, spare abacus parts, and his painting supplies. It almost surprised Kress, how quickly he was able to get everything organized, but then again, he had spent a fair amount of time just dreaming about this moment. Finally. He could live independently! Sure, it was Ty who was cooking up food for the two of them, and sure, he wasn’t personally paying for tuition or anything like that, but still…

The boy flopped on his bed and closed his eyes, enjoying the quiet of a building without dozens of servants moving about. A clarity, perhaps. A sense of freedom. Ah, it’d have been nice if he could have brought his harp over as well, but Kress had held off from that, and seeing that Alberta filled up so much space in their shared rooms, that was probably for the best. Maybe he’ll go shopping later and just buy one? Yeah, another thing to get excited about! He certainly wasn’t lacking in money, after all.

Hopping off his bed, Kress strode over to the kitchen, watching Ty at work with wide eyes, committing it all to memory. Whatever a human could do, magic could too, but creation mages like himself still needed to be able to visualize the process, lest they end up with a product that had no substance. The boy only half-acknowledged Alberta’s commandments when she reappeared, but it wasn’t like he planned on doing anything untoward her anyways. He had enough older sisters to know what not to do when living in the same building as one, after all. Last time he gave in to his curiosity, he had stumbled upon dark knowledge that he’d much rather have avoided.

“Thanks, Ty,” Kress said, taking the plate and eating it slowly. It tasted about alright. Pretty normal. Which was good. Seemed up to par and all. “Oh, but if it’s not too much trouble, could you make a cold meal or something? For any of us, if we wake up hungry at night.”

Well, mostly in case Alberta did.
@Shovel Make sure to multiply your SP by 10. It's a resource, after all.

Assuming that your character read up on guides and such, there are no guides that direct people to automatically go after frogmen. Most will talk about going after goblins. Because they're goblins.

Your character was supposed to log-in at the same time as everyone else, because y'all planned to meet up and then party up. You're late now though, so operate with that in mind.

In regards to your post about seeing a group of people...there's only one person who was leaning against the Keystone. No one else was actually there, cause they were out and about getting stuff. Edit your post to reflect that.
The first thing that Raymond noticed about Mei Rei Tan was how extraordinarily quiet the tea shop became once he closed the door behind him. There were talismans glued on them, red paper with gold-infused ink, and he could feel an almost imperceptible hum emanating from them. Soundproofing? Quite possibly. The rest of the tea shop seemed to follow that silent atmosphere. Most people sat alone at tables, relaxing and sipping at hot and cold brews or sampling flour-based desserts. It certainly looked like a tea shop for recluses to escape from the hubbud of the outdoors with, and the owner looked to reflect that. With waist-length hair pulled back tight against his skull and braided neatly, the middle-aged man wore silken robes and sported a clean-shaven face. He raised a brow at Raymond's question, almost bemused that the Immortal was treating his establishment as one of those western speakeasies.

"Your order will be coming right up, sir."

Moments later, far too fast for the normal process of tea-making to occur, a mug of fragrant tea was placed at Raymond's table. Gold leaf lined the hairline fractures in the mug, while the murky green tea was offset by a single flower petal floating atop. The shopowner smiled, and said, in a hushed but not secretive tone, "Fa Trung thinks of himself as an entrepreneur, but blames misfortune rather than inability and slothfulness. He was never famous, sir, only unlucky enough to be misled by short-term success. Now, please, enjoy."
@Searat

"Misfortune?" The old man echoed, a glimmer of true hope in his eyes as he looked up towards Ari. "Yes, misfortune most foul, most cruel! Oh, those dastards of the Tsi-Lei Gang, lying about their loans so they could steal everything from me the moment my profits dipped just a little!"

He covered his face with his hands, letting out a choking sob. "If only I could buy it back, the deed to the building that my family had owned for generations...oh, if only..." Even as he suffered from those recalled memories though, the old man continued to magically produce talismans, handing them over to the always heroic, always active Ames. Amulak, seeing this quick exchange, could confirm that there wasn't any shopping interface at all. If he so chose, perhaps it wouldn't be so hard to just steal back his twenty silver after the old man handed over the talisman...

If Amulak were to interact with one of the talismans, however, he would see the curious talisman's stats.

The item's effects, though part of it appeared indecipherable, certainly appeared to fit the bill, and if he were to then press it somewhere on his body, the dark and mysterious man would feel lighter all of a sudden. Twice as light even, and able to move just like how he would move in reality: unbothered by gravity.
@GreenGoat@Psyker Landshark@Haha@OwO

It wasn't so exhausting, just lying there. At least, now that he was upright and gravity's weight was pressing on his head rather than directly on his chest, Krizantemë could breathe decently and just watch the world around him go. Players, in their eccentric, min-maxed outfits that looked absolutely hilarious when rendered in the vibrant realism of the Fantastic perception setting, talked about all sorts of stuff, most of it passing right over the lilac-haired youth's head. Shipments of live cargo to Mora-Sho paying well. Recent surges in higher level monsters over at the Goldspun Fields, with rumors of a Goblin King in the making. Some wannabe-paladin assholes camping the Blasphemed Tunnels and jumping newbies. Feet pics of the Flamebringer Princess going for 50k rishi a pop over at the Floating District.

Fun to listen to, but it only reminded him more of how he was stuck here, waiting for friends that may very well just be drawn away by those hella interesting things and forget about him.

Time passed on. People came and went, some of them glancing at Krizantemë, while others didn't even acknowledge his presence. The shadows grew longer, the night fell...wait, no, that wasn't the night. That was just someone's shadow! Craning his neck up, Krizantemë would see an absolute mountain of a man, every inch of his body practically oozing the sort of hypermasculinity one would expect out of misogynist American cartoons. Amulak may have gone for the creepy-hot look, but this beastly beefcake looked as if someone swerved so hard into the barbarian badass archetype that he came out of it looking like a two-bit gritty-medieval-fantasy Netflix villain!

And it was at this exact moment that both Ames and Lugh circled around the Keystone to see Krizantemë, currently being 'oppressed' by a very big man with a very broken nose.

@Cu Chulainn@Versa@Shovel@Yankee

“Majority of the city’s civilian populace had already been evacuated a couple months back,” Tux replied, waving away whatever heroic concerns Annabelle. “And Beacon’s still got the numbers to handle the situation, with assistance from other benign magicals.” Or well, that was the hope. Though the Shadow Unit had ramped up its recruitment practices recently, they were still pitifully undermanned. Experienced magical girls weren’t going to give up regular payment for something as noble as government work, after all, while it was always difficult discovering locations of Puchuu contracts. Big Sis had the intuition for it, but that was her ‘talent’ alone; the rest had about as much luck digging for gold in the desert.

“Haven’t had the chance to extensively test their security, but monsters showing up nearby their HQ may cause them to recall their patrols instead. Might be more trouble than it’s worth.” The masked girl pulled her hair back into a tight ponytail, evidently tired of her hair being plastered against her face. “Mission’s got three objectives. In order of importance…Beacon has a surveillance network that, at minimum, covers the city of Penrose. Getting access to that would benefit our future operations the most. They’ve also got a teleportation system set up; getting a blueprint of how that’d work could put an end to all this travelling. You two should have been briefed on incident in Ethiopia, yes? We’re looking for information on their ‘super weapon’.”

Tux coughed a couple of times. More water would have been good, but she had already moved onto the ‘pose coolly on top of a building overlooking their target’ segment of the mission, and couldn’t find it in her heart to backtrack.

“If everyone’s been keeping quiet, Beacon shouldn’t know a thing about us. They’re working against monsters and the corrupted, but that doesn’t mean they’re working for humanity. Not if they’re run by Puchuus, at least.” Creepy little mascot lifeforms, the lot of them. “And I’ve been around for a week. Ever since word of the lich incident got out. Now…”

Really was getting cold. She clenched her fists a couple of times, getting back some circulation.

“Let’s get started. Valentine, you lead. Annabelle, follow up. I’ll watch our backs.”

"I'm new!" Myria chirped, humming happily now that Veronica promised something interesting to get back at that rancid basement-dwelling magical bitch with. "And Fine's old!"

Fine smiled, bemused. "Mimoku picked her up a couple months back; she's been a hassle ever since. Works hard though. Gets in over her head often."

"I do not! Those were...tactical scouting missions."

"Your wet underwear speaks otherwise."

The car almost missed a turn as Myria wheeled around, embarrassed and furious. Her magical instincts kicked in though, and the car drifted on rainwater instead, a fine mist splashing upwards as it did so. "That was from the rain!"

The silver-haired dame shook her head, her smile retained. "Cute kid, really." She peered out the window, at the fluctuations of magical power and the shockwaves of force that caused sheets of rain to bend. "Looks like we're almost there."

"Yeah, you bunch want a dynamic entry, or should I just park like a normie?"

@Majoras End I think you're the only one who's not on the Discord, so here's a document that's now got a lotta lore Ari's came up with. This is all effective moving forward, so don't worry about retroactive taxation or whatever. If ya got questions or concerns, feel free to PM or just post hereeee.
Ey Blu, could you drop down the basic dorm layout under Dorm Assignments in the Character Tabs? For good ol' ease of access.
